Preparation of Anti Mold Cleaning Agent and its Effect on the Performance of Insulation Materials

A mold resistant cleaning agent with long-term cleaning function was prepared using hydroxyl silicone oil, mold inhibitors, and some additives as the main raw materials. The results show that the anti mold cleaning agent prepared by adding different proportions of anti mold agents not only ensures the cleaning and anti mold effects on the insulation material, but also has no significant impact on its mechanical properties, electrical properties, and surface hydrophobicity. Moreover, when the content of the anti mold cleaning agent is 2% to 3%, its comprehensive mechanical and electrical properties can maintain a good level. Through infrared analysis, it can be seen that during the mixing process of cleaning agent and anti mold agent, due to the consumption of some double bonds, the internal molecular structure of the cleaning agent has been changed, which not only has good cleaning effect but also excellent anti mold effect. When the amount of anti mold agent is 2%, the anti mold level of the insulation material is the best, reaching level 0, and the hydrophobicity can also reach HC1 after cleaning.

Online cleaning of massive data in the evaluation of the health status of wind turbines

The SCADA data of wind turbine contains a number of abnormal data, which seriously affects the prediction and evaluation of the health state of the turbine. Therefore, an abnormal data cleaning algorithm is proposed according to the measured wind speed - power and generator speed - power data. In this algorithm, the key SCADA parameters were selected as data cleaning objects based on the combination of the Copula function and the mutual information feature (CMI). After that, an algorithm combining the Copula function and the local outlier factor (Copula-LOF) was proposed to clean the abnormal data and filter out the abnormal data of outliers and stacking points. Finally, the actual operation data of wind turbines are used to verify the algorithm. The experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively identify all kinds of abnormal data and has a good cleaning effect on abnormal data.

Study on membrane pollution caused by rare earth waste water treatment by membrane electrolysis process

ABSTRACT The membrane electrolysis technology is one of the treatment technologies for REx(CO3)y (rare earth carbonate) wastewater treatment. However, because the wastewater contains a few rare earth elements, it is easy to cause membrane contamination due to rare earth deposition on the membrane surface during membrane electrolysis treatment. This paper investigates the causes of membrane contamination caused by rare earth elements and the cleaning treatment of membranes to understand the mechanism of membrane contamination and improve membrane service life. Formation and composition of membrane pollutant produced in electrolysis process was analyzed and SEM micro-morphology analysis was done to study membrane pollutant. With the assistance of composition analysis by EDX and XRD, the main content of the membrane pollutant was determined to be RE(OH)3 amorphous precipitate. The influence of pH value of the electrolyte, the types of rare earth elements inside the electrolyte and the temperature of electrolyte on the pollution to the membrane was studied by pollutant absorption on the membrane and the ion flux change on the membrane. It was discovered that the adsorptive membrane pollution caused by Ce, Tb, and Y was relatively serious than other rare earth elements among the 16 rare earth elements, which concluded that the distribution of yttrium was higher in the heavy rare earth ore and the membrane pollution was severe when treating the smelting waste water of RE x (CO3) y produced by heavy rare earth ore by membrane electrolysis than by light rare earth ore. It was found that the mixed cleaning agent of HCl-NaClO had a good cleaning effect. The most considerable ion flux of the ion membrane after cleaning recovered to 96.5%. This study is expected to provide a valuable reference for the treatment of rare earth wastewater by membrane electrolysis.

Research on the ultrasonic driving circuit of music rhythm driven method to suppress the noise of ultrasonic cleaner

Ultrasonic cleaners are accompanied by high-frequency noise when cleaning, which stimulates the human's auditory and excites the peripheral nervous system, resulting in poor health.To eliminate this noise, the “masking effect” was applied, which reapplied the auditory characteristics of the human body.This effect is a way to make noise less perceptible by adding natural sounds.In current study, we proposed a new type of music rhythm pulse width modulation (MR-PWM) that based on the theory of adding natural sounds to the noise emitted during ultrasonic cleaning.The MR-PWM signal was produced by STM32F103 module which synthesized ultrasonic generation signal and natural sound, and one ultrasonic transducer emitted ultrasonic and sound simultaneously. The proposed MR-PWM circuit had relatively higher added natural sound (music rhythm) than ultrasonic noise in the space during washing, resulting in the masking effect that could reduce irritability and discomfort. In addition, MR-PWM ultrasonic generator showed an overall good cleaning effect by distributed cavitation in the entire cleaning vessel without decreasing cleaning effect compared to traditional generator.

A Data Stream Cleaning System Using Edge Intelligence for Smart City Industrial Environments

Cities are becoming smarter because of recent advances in artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. However, heterogeneous data source in smart cities are continuously producing low-quality data, and ever-growing applications have greater real-time requirements. Therefore, this article proposes a data stream cleaning system (named DSCS) using edge intelligence to utilize the advantages of cloud servers and edge devices. The DSCS in edge nodes consists of a dynamic protocol interpreter, a structure parser, and a cleaning model activator. Meanwhile, a cloud server, which has pools of protocol and structured programs and cleaning models, supports the edge nodes to adapt massive heterogeneous data sources. To validate the proposed data cleaning system, we applied it to two scenarios: monitoring the injection molding machines, and base stations. The DSCS can have a stable processing time when the number of accessed edge devices is increased, as well as a good cleaning effect.

Auxiliary mechanism of in-situ micro-nano bubbles in oxide chemical mechanical polishing

Silicon dioxide is the most important gate oxide dielectric material, and its surface planarization is an important factor in the continuous shrinking of the size of integrated circuits. Developing a novel chemical mechanical polishing auxiliary technique to achieve efficient polishing of oxide wafers is a significant challenge. In this study, a novel in-situ micro-nano bubbles auxiliary method, which used a nano-hydrophobic film to prepare a gas supersaturated slurry that can generate instant in-situ micro-nano bubbles during polishing, was developed for oxide wafers. Compared with conventional slurries, this auxiliary method increased the material removal rate by about 30% and ensured the low surface roughness of the wafer of 0.14 nm. The existence of micro-nano bubbles and the multi-size distribution and zeta potential of the micro-nano bubbles were measured by optical microscope and dynamic light-scattering methods. Then, to investigate the auxiliary mechanism of this in-situ micro-nano bubbles, different analytical methods, such as oxide thickness measurement system, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy, were used to characterize the sample. The results indicated that during the polishing process, the micro-nano bubbles generated in situ have a good cleaning effect. In addition, the free radicals generated after in-situ micro-nano bubbles burst simultaneously modified the surfaces of the wafer and the pad. The improvement of the adsorption between the wafer and abrasives promoted the chemical reaction between them. After conditioning, the rougher and cleaner pad had a higher mechanical effect. Most importantly, this in-situ micro-nano bubbles auxiliary method has the potential to be applicable to all slurries.

Formulation of Face-Wash from Coconut (<i>Cocos nucifera (L.))</i> Oil in Ben Tre Province, Vietnam

Today, the need for human care and beauty is increasing. The use of personal care products, especially those from nature, has been given special attention by consumers. With diverse features and good effects on the human body, especially the skin, coconut oil is being cared for by many manufacturers. With the aim of diversifying personal care products from coconut oil, this research has initially achieved positive results. Soap saponified as raw soap is considered to have good cleaning effect (better than sodium lauryl sulfate solution (SLS) when diluted to the same concentration). The combination of 10% crude soap and 4% sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) surfactants formulate cleansing products with effective cleansing properties. Ingredients auxiliary cleaners, moisturizing, and softening, antioxidants are added with the appropriate content to improve the disadvantages of raw soap. The personal care products that have been studied have the potential to enter the cosmetic market and attract many consumers.

Evaluation of the effectiveness of disinfection in dog shelter

Cleaning and disinfection are among the most important tasks in shelters and an important link in the prevention and battle against infectious diseases. Inadequate cleaning and ineffective disinfection can spread the disease to animals in the surrounding pens or to people during their daily contact and care of the animals. It is important to follow the order of the individual steps performed during hygiene procedures and carry out subsequent control of their efficacy. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of disinfection by means of swabs taken from selected surfaces in a dog shelter – Happy dog, located in eastern Slovakia. The surfaces were disinfected with Savo Prim contains active substance sodium hypochlorite and anionic surfactant. For good cleaning effect was added disinfectant in a ratio of 1:5 to hot water at a temperature of 50°C and sprayed under pressure of 50 Bar. The effectiveness of mechanical cleaning followed by disinfection was evaluated by microbiological swabs from watering and food bowls, wall and floor. Swabs were taken before and after mechanical cleaning and disinfection, from 10cm2 areas. The surface area was wiped with a sterile cotton swab, the swab was placed in a sterile tube with 10ml of sterile saline solution and 0.1ml from this mixture was applied to Endo agar and meat peptone agar. Swabbing of the disinfected surfaces showed a significant decrease in TCB (total count of bacteria) and CB (coliform bacteria). However, on the walls and floors were detected small count of TCB and CB after disinfection in comparison with the counts detected before cleaning but the number of indicator bacteria was below the recommended value. Based on these observations, we can evaluate the hygienic program with the disinfection performed in the shelter as sufficient.

Production and Application of Thermostable Glucoamylase from Thermotolerant Aspergillus fumigatus via Semisolid State Fermentation

A THERMOTOLERANT fungus Aspergillus fumigatus isolated from agriculture soil, Beheira Governorate, Egypt was screened from other fungal isolates for its high glucoamylase activity. The identification of the fungus based on morphology and sequence analysis of ITS1-5.8S rDNA-ITS2. Five crop wastes (wheat bran, wheat straw, rice hulls, rice straw and broken rice grain) were used to induce the thermostable glucoamylase production by A. fumigatus via semisolid state fermentation. Wheat bran is the most suitable waste for glucoamylase production by the tested fungus which further improved using Plackett-Burman and Box-Behnken designs. Optimum conditions for the production of thermostable amylase are reached at pH 6, wheat bran 1gm, yeast extract 6mg/gm, berij 35 40μL/gm, (NH4)2SO4 24mg/gm and an inoculum of 6x 105spore/ml with thermostable glucoamylase production titer of 161.11U/gm after 6 days.FeCl3, BaCl2, and CaCl2 positively affect glucoamylase activity with highest main effect value of FeCl3 ions where MgCl2 has the highest negative main effect on activity. The kinetic constants Km is 1.37mg/ml with three bands in zymogram. Moreover the enzyme showed good cleaning effect when applied in starch patches in textile. Glucoamylase of A. fumigatus exhibited good thermostability as it loss only 28.95% from its original activity after treatment with heat at 80°C for 3hr. Finally, the thermostable glucoamylase from A. fumigatus can be produced from cheap agrowaste via simple fermentation technique.

Effect of scrubbing by NaClO backwashing on membrane fouling in anammox MBR

NaClO based chemically enhanced backwash (CEB) is often administered to maintain membrane permeability during the operation of MBR. However, the effect and working mechanism of NaClO concentrations in CEB were rarely investigated. The current investigation examined the changes in membrane resistance, permeate production and membrane morphology with or without CEB in an anammox MBR to reveal the scrubbing effect of different NaClO concentrations (0–596 mg/L). Good cleaning effect indicated by membrane fouling rate of 1.98–2.26 kPa/day and membrane permeate production of 80–88 L was observed when NaClO concentration of 149–596 mg/L was used. The best cleaning effect was observed when 298 mg/L of NaClO was used. To explore the mechanism of CEB action, backwashing foulants were also analyzed. Insoluble EPS transformed into soluble forms like S-EPS or SMP after the sludge was exposed to NaClO. The NaClO based CEB removed 112–675 mg of polysaccharide (PS)/m2 in foulants at NaClO concentration of 149–596 mg/L, which was significantly higher than the value obtained by pure water (35 mg PS/m2). The possible mechanisms behind the detachment of soluble PS seemed as oxidation and sterilization by NaClO. The current investigation provides useful guidelines on NaClO concentrations applied during CEB for anammox MBR.

Study on the application of oral magnesium sulfate solution in split doses as bowel preparation for colonoscopy in elderly patients

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of oral magnesium sulfate solution in split doses as bowel preparation in elderly patients undergoing colonoscopy. Methods: A total of 368 elderly patients undergoing colonoscopy were enrolled at PLA General Hospital. The patients were randomly divided into magnesium sulfate solution orally in split doses group (group A, n=178) and single dose group (group B, n=190). Parameters including general information, defecation frequency, Boston bowel preparation score (BBPS), detection rate of lesions and adverse reactions. Results: The frequency of defecations in group A was (7.6±1.4), more than that in group B (6.6±1.5) with statistical significance (P<0.05). The duration of bowel preparation in group A was (128.6±25.3) min, shorter than that of group B (165.4±29.7) min (P<0.05). The BBPS in group A was (8.09±0.67), better than that of group B (7.34±0.58) (P<0.05). The detection rates of intestinal polyps and micropolyps (diameter<0.5 cm) in group A were 73/178 (41.0%) and 51/178 (28.7%) respectively, compared with 58/190 (30.5%) and 37/190 (19.5%) in group B (both P<0.05). In group A, 8 patients reported adverse reactions as abdominal distension and discomfort. One patient had ST-T abnormality of electrocardiogram (ECG). No nausea or vomiting occurred, yet 2 cases needed enema for inadequate bowel preparation. Twenty-one cases in group B reported adverse events including 7 with nausea and vomiting. There were 13 patients treated with enema. Abnormal ECG was found in 4 patients in group B. The satisfaction rate of group A was 97.8%, higher than that of group B (91.6%) (P<0.05). Conclusions: The effect of bowel preparation of elderly patients with magnesium sulfate solution in split dose has a better tolerance, good cleaning effect and low incidence of adverse reactions. It is an ideal choice for the elderly to prepare colonoscopy.

Cleaning Fabricated Metal Thread: A Post‐treatment Stability Assessment after Artificial Deterioration and the Application of Synthetic Soil

To study the cleaning effects and post-treatment stability assessment of various methods of cleaning textiles with metal thread, six naturally-soiled historical textiles with metal thread were investigated at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Prior to the cleaning of fabricated gold, silver, and copper thread that had been glued onto a paper substrate, the artificial deterioration was carried out in a controlled environment with light(UV and daylight), and temperature and humidity factors which would weaken and damage the samples. A synthetic soil mixture was applied to the samples to imitate soil found on the historic and archaeological textiles with metal thread; the cleaning effect and post-treatment assessment were investigated by use of three textile cleaning methods: mechanical cleaning, wet cleaning, and solvent cleaning. While investigating the naturally-soiled textiles with metal thread, it was determined that the soil colors and sizes of contaminating particles of each textile were different due to the diversity of original environmental factors and conditions. After cleaning with kneaded rubber, Stoddard solvent, n-decane or n-hexane, a bright, clean effect was apparent. Kneaded rubber was successful in picking up both large and small particles, but its stickiness caused some of the metal leaf to peel off. Stoddard solvent produced a good cleaning effect, but after use of n-hexane and n-decane in the cleaning process, a white layer of residue remained on the textile’s surface. Wet cleaning was not effective and the rapid humidity changes between wet and dry conditions caused the edges of the paper substrate to lose their original shape.

A Combined Algorithm for Cleaning Abnormal Data of Wind Turbine Power Curve Based on Change Point Grouping Algorithm and Quartile Algorithm

There exist plenty of outliers in power curve of wind turbines, which is not conducive to the follow-up information mining. Improving the wind power curve data quality of wind turbines has great engineering value. According to the spatial distribution characteristics and shapes, the outliers of wind power curve are divided into four types: the bottom curve, the mid curve, and the top curve stacked outliers, as well as scattered outliers around the curve. Based on the outlier distribution characteristics, this paper proposes a method and process of cleaning the outliers based on the change point grouping algorithm and the quartile algorithm, followed by a theoretical analysis of its feasibility. Case studies and its comparisons with the quartile–change point grouping algorithm and the local outlier factor algorithm show that the proposed change point grouping–quartile algorithm can effectively identify the four types of outliers, with good cleaning effect, high efficiency, and strong versatility.

Methodology for steel plate remanufacturing cleaning with flexible cable impact contact and friction

Remanufacturing cleaning plays an important role in the remanufacturing process. It has a significant influence on the residual life detection and remanufactured products quality. But it is the most polluted and time-consuming phase in the remanufacturing process. In this paper a simple, efficiency and low pollution cleaning method is introduced. This method is based on Hertz and Coulomb theory with flexible cable impact contact and friction, without introducing new pollution medium in the process. In order to study the method in detail, the working mechanism, the kinematic and dynamic characteristics are analyzed. Simulation and application test are carried out on the steel plate and get a good cleaning effect.

Study of Automatic Cleaning Device with Multi-action for Shellfish

According to the characteristics of shellfish in the surrounding BoHai sea area, a kind of multi-action cleaning machine used in industrial production is studied. The structures and working principles of the key parts of the cleaning device are introduced in this paper through simulation model and real samples. Based on ANSYS software, the optimal processing parameters suitable for the cleaning device is obtained. Analysis mathematical model and vibration response curve in this study show that the multi-action device ultimately displays the excellent working performance. A PLC control system with emphasis on its control plan and control configuration is described. All in all , this particular cleaning action forms a wider, effective cleaning range, and improves the cleaning efficiency overall , solves the traditional shortcomings of low efficiency of processing, has the advantages of good cleaning effect, stable performance.

Investigation of high-intensity magnetic hydrogels in the application of membrane physical cleaning

Abstract A newly synthesized magnetic hydrogel was applied to physical cleaning of low pressure microfiltration (hollow fiber) membranes. MC(50%)-90-3 h was chosen from several kinds of high-intensity magnetic hydrogels for its superior performance. According to the properties of the hydrogels, membrane filtration and cleaning tests was conducted under a orthogonal experiment with different factors and levels. An optimal combination of factors and levels was got as particle size of 5 mm, aeration intensity of 1 L/min and volume percent of 10%. The comparison of traditional aeration cleaning, backwashing and the hydrogels cleaning showed the superiority of the hydrogels with the TMP recovery of 93.07%. The results of shear stress detection showed that the outlet of membrane module received the lowest shear stress in corresponding with the most serious fouling. Therefore, a new cleaning method containing enhanced cleaning in position was created to make the intensive cleaning to the position with severe fouling. The recovery of TMP reached up to 96.62% after cleaning of the new method which indicated that reversible fouling can almost be removed completely. This good cleaning effect was hoped to provide support for further membrane physical cleaning.

Experimental Study on Non-Backwashing Dynamic Membrane Bio-Reactor

Using a DMBR, which consists of two piece of Polyester fabric mini nets and an interactive unit with brushes, to test whether it can relieve membrane fouling and keep the reactors stable operation on a high flux by anti-brushing periodically or not. The results indicated that when the flux was 45L/m2·h, it could operate 28d until the flux decline. And it also showed that an operation by running the interactive unit periodically could remove the dynamic membrane and make the non-backwashing come true. By comparing the amount of bio-film on the nets surface before and after anti-brushing, it proved that anti-brushing had a good cleaning effect to net. In addition to through a detection to the effluent turbidity, it could put 0.5NTU as an important sign to do anti-brushing operation.

Research on the Self-Cleaning Sole Cleaner

A Theoretical Research on the Affective Factors of the Transimission of Ultrasonic Used in Descaling

In order to get a good cleaning effect, we can change the location of ultrasonic cleaning device according to the ultrasonic propagation characteristics of ultrasonic. Judge by Doppler shift principle, this article build an equation which depict that ultrasonic disseminate in the mobile liquid. According to the relationship between viscous force and velocity gradient, this article build an equation which depicts that ultrasonic disseminate in the viscous liquid. The equation was facilitated and solved base on the characteristic of axial symmetry model. The results indicated that the velocity of mobile liquid can enhance the sound wave attenuation.The faster liquid flow rate, the higher the degree of attenuation. Liquid viscosity plays an important role in sound wave attenuation. The high frequency of ultrasonic, the more attenuation will produce.
