Peningkatan Kesadaran Lingkungan melalui Edukasi Dini mengenai Lingkungan Laut dan Perubahan Iklim bagi Siswa SMAN 1 Moyo Utara, Kabupaten Sumbawa

One of the environmental issues currently in the global spotlight is climate change. The marine environment is among the most affected by climate change. Various efforts are being undertaken by governments, NGOs, and other environmental organizations to reduce the factors causing environmental change. However, full community involvement remains challenging due to a lack of environmental awareness. Early education offers a potential solution to increase public awareness, for example, through educating student groups. The purpose of this program is to provide students with insights into climate change, its impact on the marine environment, and preventive measures. The method used involves delivering relevant materials to the participants. The participants include 60 students from SMAN 1 Moyo Utara, Sumbawa Regency. An evaluation was conducted by giving pre-test and post-test for the participants resulting in the increase of participants’ knowledge of 81-205%. As a result of this activity, students gained more knowledge about the impacts of climate change on the marine environment, and their awareness of participating in environmental conservation efforts began to grow.

SHARIAH’S POSITION IN AFGHAN 2004 CONSTITUTION: A LEGAL ANALYSIS

The legal position of Shariah in the 2004 Afghan constitution has been considerably debated due to the full involvement of the international community in the constitution-making process. Though Article 3 of the 2004 constitution of Afghanistan states that “no law shall contravene the beliefs and principles of Islam”, considering this provision and others, the position of Shariah in the constitution seems ambiguous. Some legal experts at national and international levels consider the 2004 constitution to be one of the most Islamic constitutions, recognising the supremacy of Shariah. Contrary to this, some scholars think that a set of constitutional provisions predicate a limited applicability of Shariah by referring to Hanafi Fiqh as a gap-filling law in Article 130. Keeping this problem in mind, this research paper examines the supremacy of Shariah in light of all provisions in the 2004 constitution. It aims to outline the actual role of Shariah within the 2004 constitution by elaborating on the different concepts of Shariah and law in the Afghan legal system. The study which follows qualitative research methodology is conducted through major library research and an empirical study, employing comparative and analytical approaches per doctrinal and non-doctrinal methods. It exposes the conceptual and applied aspects of the legal provisions relating to the applicability of the Shariah in the 2004 constitution. The research generally relied on primary sources such as the constitution of Afghanistan and the Quran and Sunnah for the Shariah. The researcher considered the connection between the various constitutional provisions on Shariah in conjunction with the hierarchy of legal norms and found that Shariah has a weak position under the 2004 constitutional setup up as a judicial review attests. The 2004 constitution provides a limited applicability of Shariah in the sense that no law shall contravene the Shariah while at the same time, the term law does not include the constitution- itself and the term Shariah generally refers to Hanafi Fiqh as a subsidiary source of law. The constitutional provisions on Shariah are not amendable, as the 2004 constitution declares them irrevocable. To strengthen the position of Shariah, it is proposed that the primary step is to define the term law comprehensively to include the constitution. However, the best alternative is that Afghans enact a new constitution that provides the supremacy of Shariah.

Analysis of the Quiet Quitting Phenomenon with Work Engagement and Job Satisfaction as mediators, Study of Employees in Indonesia Banking Industry

The phenomenon of quiet quitting has significantly captured global attention across various industries in recent years. Quiet quitting refers to a form of employee disengagement characterized by limiting their efforts to meeting minimal expectations and avoiding additional tasks or responsibilities beyond what is explicitly required. This behavior impacts organizational performance, workplace dynamics, and employee well-being. When employees silently disengage from full involvement in their work, organizations may experience decreased productivity, hindered teamwork dynamics, and challenges in retaining top talent. This research aims to analyze the determinant factors in the quiet quitting intention phenomenon, mediated by work engagement and job satisfaction. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed quantitatively from 405 employees of a banking sector company in Indonesia using purposive sampling and analyzed with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using Smart PLS. By understanding these signs, organizations can early detect quiet quitting intention behaviors and take appropriate steps to determine the necessary actions to address the underlying issues of quiet quitting behavior.

Impact of Parental Engagement on Academic Achievement in School-age Children

Parent’s participation in their child's education creates academic progress. A quantitative approach was adopted in this study and non experimental exploratory research design. A non probability convenient sampling technique was used among 300 parents of school age children various statistical tests were adapted. Questionnaire was confined to the areas of Epstein’s six different types of involvement which included parenting, communicating, volunteering, learning at home, decision making and collaborating with community and Parental involvement opinionnaire was developed and referring to the ‘No child left behind Act’ (NCLB). The study showed, 295 parents has shown full parental involvement in academic performance, 5 of them showed partial involvement and no one showed any involvement in academic performance of their child. Final results revealed 178 children were having good academic performance and 118 were having average academic performance and 4 of them shown poor academic performance. In study group there was highly significant difference of parental involvement i.e. P<0.005 and no significant difference of academic performance i.e. P>0.05. The conclusion is that there is no significant difference between the parental involvement and academic performance of the child.

Abstract Su407: Implementing An Effective Standardized Bystander CPR Protocol For US Golf Courses

Background: A golf course is the fifth most common public place for cardiac arrest (CA). Informal interviews with golfers and golf course personnel revealed striking incomplete and variable knowledge about what to do in the event of a CA on a golf course in accordance with most current bystander resuscitation guidelines. Hypothesis: We hypothesized that the development and implementation of a standardized protocol (called “911-CPR-AED”) for the three most critical first steps to assure aperson’s survival of an on-golf course CA will improve chances of surviving if playing partners, caddies and club staff are well prepared to respond urgently and appropriately to such an emergency. Aim: To successfully implement the standardized “911-CPR-AED” protocol for 4 different golf clubs. Approach: We achieved full support and involvement of the Club Boards, professional staff, club management, grounds crew and membership as well as coordination with local Emergency Medical Systems (EMS) and communications to all golfers and caddies. We created a specific four-panel laminated infographic customized for each club and designed to fit easily into every golfer’s bag and caddy vest, assuring a readily available “911-CPR-AED” guide for lay bystanders to notify EMS and Club staff, immediately initiate chest compressions, ensure rapid delivery of an AED and BLS certified persons to the arrest site, and safely guide EMS on their arrival. We also staged live “dry run’ simulations on the golf courses with all key team members and timed each and every step of the simulation from start to finish. All aspects of this process were shared with leaders of the closest EMS and hospital emergency departments (EDs). Results: Within the past 2 years, we have successfully implemented a standardized emergency resuscitation protocol we call “911-CPR-AED” at 4 different golf clubs for immediate initiation of bystander CPR in the event of full CA on a golf course. Since implementation, we have witnessed 3 CA events and achieved successful full “on course” resuscitations that deployed this protocol for all three survivors who are now back to playing golf. We intend to share the details and many lessons learned for these ongoing efforts. Conclusion: An effective, standard bystander CPR protocol now exists for use at any US golf course. We intend to expand Implementation to 3 new golf courses and will continue to raise awareness and encourage widespread local implementation across the US.

Virtual reality in the rehabilitation of motor disorders in diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system

Modern rehabilitation is constantly evolving, the latest methods of recovery and maintenance of patients are emerging, giving maximum efficiency at relatively low economic costs. Virtual reality is a powerful and proven effective tool for modern rehabilitation of patients with various pathologies compared to standard physical therapy. The immersive environment created by the program is able to simulate the necessary conditions for the formation of the correct movement pattern, keeping the patient’s attention, keeping him interested in further classes, and motivating him to achieve better results. Also, by influencing the emotional sphere and the full involvement of the patient in the process, the positive effect of such activities on the intensity of pain was noted. Published works describing the high effectiveness of the virtual reality method during the rehabilitation of neurological patients, patients with injuries and diseases.

Developing a New Model for Achieving Flow State in STEAM Education: A Mixed-Method Investigation

The flow state is a mental state in which a person is fully immersed in an activity and experiences a sense of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment. It is a highly desirable state for learning, as it allows students to be more engaged and productive. However, achieving the flow state can be challenging, and there is no single method guaranteed to achieve all the conditions of this state. Additionally, this study argues that achieving the flow state is advantageous in STEAM education because it has the potential to increase student engagement and motivation, improve learning outcomes, promote creativity and problem-solving skills, and develop 21st-century skills such as collaboration and critical thinking. Therefore, this study aims to develop a new framework for achieving the flow state in STEAM education by investigating the implementation of a combined approach using impactful technology (ITU) and gamification (IGU). The framework combines impactful technology use (ITU) and impactful gamification use (IGU) to create activities that are challenging, have clear goals, provide immediate feedback, and promote action-awareness merging. A concurrent triangulation mixed-methodology research design was used, with data collected from teachers, students, and parents through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The researcher used purposive sampling to determine the sample, which consisted of eighty-nine teachers, ten students, ten parents, and ten lesson observations. The study is significant because it is the first to propose a new model for achieving the flow state in STEAM education. The findings were used to develop the New Combined Flow Framework (NCFF), which supports achieving the conditions for the flow state in STEAM learning through the combined use of ITU and IGU. This new framework can be used by education professionals to practically achieve the flow state in STEAM classes. By understanding how to achieve the flow state, educators can create more engaging and effective learning experiences for their students, potentially revolutionizing STEAM education and making it more accessible to all students.

A 360° Approach to Patient Care in Aesthetic Facial Rejuvenation.

Aesthetic medicine has traditionally focused on addressing perceived problem areas, with lack of long-term planning and engagement. This article describes a patient-centric model for nonsurgical aesthetic medical practice, termed the 360° approach to facial aesthetic rejuvenation. The 360° approach was divided into 4 foundational pillars. Medical literature, the authors' clinical experiences, and results from patient satisfaction surveys were used to support the approach. Pillar 1 describes the development of a complete understanding of the patient, based on the use of active listening principles, to characterize the patient's current aesthetic concerns, lifestyle, medical and treatment history, treatment goals, attitude toward aesthetic treatment, and financial resources. Pillar 2 involves conducting a comprehensive facial assessment in contrast to a feature-specific assessment, considering multiple facial tissues and structures and their interrelationships, thus helping to prevent the unanticipated consequences of narrowly focused treatment. Pillar 3 describes leveraging all available treatments and techniques in the development of an initial treatment plan arising from the facial assessment. Pillar 4 adds a time dimension to treatment planning, working toward the goal of a long-term modifiable treatment timeline, with full patient support and involvement; this is designed to facilitate a durable, sustained relationship between the patient and aesthetic healthcare professional (HCP). Although implementation involves substantial commitment and time, the patient-oriented focus of the 360° approach can help achieve optimal patient outcomes and the development of enduring patient-HCP relationships.

БЕЗПЕКОВІ ВИКЛИКИ ДЛЯ ТЕРИТОРІАЛЬНИХ ГРОМАД В УМОВАХ ВІЙНИ: ВНУТРІШНЬО ПЕРЕМІЩЕНІ ОСОБИ

The article is devoted to clarifying the place of internally displaced persons (IDPs) as a security challenge for the territorial communities of their permanent residence in the context of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The author analyses the scale and territorial specificity of this new phenomenon in the context of the state migration policy on regulation of internal migration processes and their interconnection with external ones; the content of the legal status and peculiarities of IDPs' socialisation. The author expresses his views on the effectiveness of the activities of the authorities and local self-government bodies, public organisations and their interaction in addressing the urgent basic needs of IDPs in various areas, ensuring their access to quality administrative and social services. The importance of adaptation of IDPs in the new ethnic environment (on the example of Ivano-Frankivsk region), establishment of national values and norms, political beliefs that are dominant among the local population, which should help prevent conflicts at the linguistic and mental levels, is substantiated. It is emphasised that the security challenges related to IDPs obviously do not require separate change, since we are talking about citizens of Ukraine who have been forced to leave their places of permanent residence, but enjoy the full range of constitutional rights and freedoms. At the same time, their implementation is part of the policy of providing security services by territorial communities aimed at increasing security and comfort in communities, creating conditions for the full involvement of IDPs in economic, social, cultural, spiritual and political life in their new places of residence.

Shaping Future Leaders: Exploring Challenges and Strategies in Character Education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah

This research aims to gain a deep understanding of character education management and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of Character Education Management at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pesantren Mizanul Ulum. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection is conducted through in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, including the school principal, teachers, and parents. Participatory observation is also carried out to understand the daily dynamics in the madrasah. Thematic analysis is applied to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in character education implementation. The results reveal that full involvement of the pesantren community such as regular meetings with parents and open classes for parents, integrated curriculum such as material development and collaborative projects in class, and active character guidance are the main supporting factors. Conversely, challenges from external environments, resource limitations, and technological impacts emerge as inhibiting factors. Wise and creative management steps in overcoming resource limitations, coupled with a prudent technological approach, have proven effective in maintaining focus on shaping students' characters.

Analysis of Educational Platforms for Individuals with Special Needs

The education process plays a significant role in increasing the socialization of individuals with specific needs. The information technologies to used support the education of such individuals should take into account their unique psycho-physical development characteristics. Creating an optimal communicative environment and developing the social skills necessary for the full involvement of students with special needs in the education process is an important component. Through the analysis of global experience in the field of information technologies, it is possible to identify promising directions for the development of such technologies, especially in creating an educational platform for individuals with specific needs.

PENGABDIAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN EDUKASI EKOWISATA DENGAN PELIBATAN MASYARAKAT DI DANAU TEMPE KECAMATAN TEMPE KABUPATEN WAJO

Lake Tempe Is Fisherman. The problem that often arises related to the livelihood of the population is the availability of employment opportunities which are inadequate with population development as stated in the regional development planning of Wajo Regency. Especially for fishermen who live around Lake Tempe, if they only rely on income to fish in the lake, their income will be very limited, so to obtain additional income, ecotourism can be developed around the lake. This community service activity aims to increase public awareness about the potential. natural resources that can be used as a source of income, thereby increasing household income. This activity was carried out on August 31 2023, at Laelo Village, Tempe District. By obtaining results (1) the community can develop ecotourism in Lake Tempe, with full involvement by the community (2) community participation is quite good, so that this activity runs smoothly (3) increase community knowledge, especially fishermen, regarding ecotourism development to increase community income.

A collaborative approach to develop indigenous specific parenting education

AbstractDiscrimination against Indigenous peoples is ongoing and perpetuated by systemic structures such as Eurocentric educational systems that often require learners to suppress their Indigeneity and conform to the dominant culture. Previous attempts at incorporating Indigenous cultures and values into education have often perpetuated harmful and negative stereotypes to the detriment of Indigenous learners. Parenting education courses for separating or divorcing parents are designed to support emotional wellbeing and promote positive co‐parenting relationships. While it is widely known that Indigenous worldviews vary from Western worldviews, there is little research on parenting education courses for Indigenous families and few culturally responsive programs designed for non‐dominant cultures or offered in other languages. Walking in two worlds is a reality for Indigenous peoples; needing to conform to the dominant systems in society while also honoring their teachings and ways of being. This article describes how a parenting education course for Indigenous families was created by employing the principle of collaboration with full involvement of all participants resulting in a course that bridges the gap between two different worldviews.

THE IMPORTANCE OF A PARTICIPATORY APPROACH IN VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT IN THE VILLAGE OF TANJUNG MEDAN LABUHAN BATU SELATAN

The participatory approach in village development prioritizes the active role of the community as the main actors, with full involvement in every stage of development, from planning to evaluation. This concept is based on the capabilities and self-reliance of the community, as well as continuous learning built from their experiences, ensuring that village development aligns more closely with the community's capabilities and progress. This study employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to understand community participation in Tanjung Medan Village, South Labuhan Batu Regency. Data were collected through direct observation, surveys, and interviews with the village head and the community. The results show that although the community participates in gotong royong activities and program evaluations, there is dissatisfaction with the village government's transparency, particularly regarding budget reporting. Improvements in the evaluation and monitoring phases are needed to enhance the effectiveness of the participatory approach

“I’ve built a shield around myself, I’ll finish and that’s it”: coping strategies among online students with disabilities

ABSTRACT Online learning offers learners the convenience and freedom to study at their own pace and place, but it also poses various obstacles for those with specific educational needs. This paper aims to delve into the subjective experiences of online learners with disabilities, focusing on how they manage the challenges encountered in asynchronous online learning. Reflexive thematic analysis was used to analyse interviews conducted with 24 learners with physical, sensory, mental, and learning disabilities. The analysis showed that learners employ proactive coping strategies to address academic and emotional challenges, as well as critical life events, hindering their full involvement in online learning activities. Internal factors such as self-determination, self-efficacy, resilience, and problem-solving play a significant role in overcoming the difficulties associated with online study. This research provides valuable insights from learners’ perspectives that can inform the development of more effective support strategies for all students. Cultivating awareness of diversity and providing training to students on building self-belief, self-care, and problem-solving skills are highlighted as key elements for enhancing their persistence and academic success. By taking into account the experiences and needs of students with disabilities, educational stakeholders can develop tailored strategies that foster an inclusive and empowering educational experience for all.

Pendampingan Belajar Bahasa Arab dengan Metode CTL untuk Meningkatkan Mufrodat Siswa Kelas VI di MI BAITUL MUKMIN Wringinagung Jombang Jember

In learning activities, especially learning Arabic, appropriate methods and strategies are needed to achieve learning objectives. In this case the researcher tried to provide full assistance to class VI students at MI Baitul Mukmin Wringinagung Jombang Kencong in improving their mufrodat using the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) method. This assisted activity aims to emphasize the process of full student involvement in learning so that students can find the material being studied and relate it to daily life situations or certain fields, so that students can feel the meaning of each lesson material received and can implement it in their learning. various aspects of life. In this assisted activity, researchers used the PAR (Participatory Action Research) assisted method. The impact resulting from the use of the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) method applied to class VI students at MI Baitul Mukmin can improve their Arabic understanding, which initially had very little insight into Arabic language understanding.

Upaya Mencapai Kebahagiaan oleh Remaja Broken Home ‎Kelurahan Pasar Baru Kota Padang ‎Panjang

This research is motivated by the existence of children from broken home families where their parents are divorced and the children do not live with both parents. The obligation to support their children is not carried out, these children feel unhappy like other friends who have intact parents. The aim of the research is to determine the efforts to achieve happiness by broken home teenagers in Pasar Baru district, Padang Panjang city. Descriptive qualitative research. Informants or people who act as information providers in this research are broken home teenagers in Pasar Baaru Village, Padang Paanjang City. Data were collected by interviews and then the data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques and data triangulation, namely by comparing data obtained from observations and interviews. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that several efforts were made to achieve happiness by broken home teenagers, namely 1) having good relationships with other people, in this case, broken home teenagers have poor relationships with their parents, which can be seen from the fact that they rarely communicate as they should because their parents have separated. and live far away. 2) involve themselves in all aspects of life (full involvement), knowing that they are not fully involved either in making decisions about themselves, or in situations outside themselves. Teenagers are required to accept everything that has been chosen and arranged by their parents. Teenagers are also not involved in activities in. 3) finding the meaning of life, it is known that no one wants to be born into a disharmonious family. They only hope and aspire to help the mother who raised them.

Exploring the Gender Disparity in Sports Participation: A Qualitative Analysis of Women's Limited Engagement in Sports in Bangladesh

Gender equality is the subject of Sustainable Development Goal 5, one of the UN's 17 objectives. Assuring women's full and effective involvement and equitable opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic, and public life is the emphasis of SDG target 5.5. In Bangladesh, there is still a significant gender gap in sports participation, which limits women's access to physical activity, personal growth, and social empowerment, a major hindrance to achieving SDGs within 2030. The research aims to uncover the socio-cultural, institutional, and psychological barriers hampering women's active sports involvement through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and content analysis. The study finds that traditional gender norms and societal expectations emerged as significant barriers to women's sports participation, and parental attitudes and support has been identified as major issues in enabling girls to participate in sports. Limited access to training facilities, coaching, and competitions specifically tailored for women hindered their progress, and the importance of mentors and role models was underscored throughout the study.

MUSIC AND THE FLOW STATE

The flow state is the mental state in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. Flow is characterized by the complete absorption in what one does, and a resulting transformation in one's sense of time. Flow is the melting together of action and consciousness; the state of finding a balance between a skill and how challenging that task is. It requires a high level of concentration and a task that matches one's skill set. Music and flow go hand in hand, as a growing body of research demonstrate that many musical activities such as music performance, music composition and music education tend to elicit high levels of flow. The present study aims to review the latest findings associated to the link between music and flow and to show the importance of this optimal state in creating excellence in music.

IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL PADA MATA PELAJARAN FIQH KELAS VIII DI MTS SALAFIYAH SYAFI’IYAH SEBLAK DIWEK JOMBANG

Contextual learning is a learning approach that emphasizes the importance of relating learning material to situations and problems that exist in real life. Thus, students are expected to be able to connect and apply learning outcomes relevantly in everyday life. Based on the above, the authors have 2 research focuses, namely: 1) How is the application of contextual learning models in fiqh class VIII at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Seblak, Diwek Jombang. 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in applying the contextual learning model to fiqh class VIII at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Seblak, Diwek, Jombang. The author specializes in choosing a qualitative research approach that is appropriate to the research subject being investigated.. The data was combined during observations, interviews and documentation involving madrasa heads, students and teachers. The research results in this thesis show that the application of contextual learning is very effective. Learning provides real examples of the material being taught, encouraging students to increase their understanding and knowledge in useful everyday life. Contextual learning strategies emphasize the full involvement of students in discovering and relating material to real life situations. Supporting factors include the existence of professional teachers, adequate facilities, and active behavior of students. Inhibiting factors include boredom, lack of motivation, and the last hour of class.
