Edukasi Menabung Sejak Dini Guna untuk Memanajemen Keuangan Dimasa Depan Bagi Anak Anak di Mesjid Taqwa Mandala

Education about saving from an early age is an important step in forming good financial management skills in children. Educational activities carried out at the Taqwa Mandala Mosque through Real Work Lectures (KKN), aim to increase children's understanding of the importance of saving and simple financial records. The research method used is a qualitative approach with counseling techniques, where children are introduced to the concept of saving using the media "Saving paper and piggy banks." This activity lasted for 15 days, with a focus on direct interaction to facilitate better understanding. The results of this activity show high enthusiasm among children and an increase in their knowledge about financial management. Support from PRM Mandala also plays an important role in the success of the program. Even though there are challenges, such as low interest in saving, this education has succeeded in instilling awareness of the importance of discipline in managing money. It is hoped that this activity can become a model for efforts to develop financial literacy in other communities, as well as have a positive impact in forming healthy financial habits for children.

Challenges and Solutions in the Implementation of the Family Hope Program

The general background family Hope Program (PKH) represents a significant initiative aimed at reducing poverty through conditional cash transfers to very poor households, initiated in 2007. Specific background however, while many countries have adopted similar strategies, the effective implementation of such programs in rural contexts often faces numerous challenges. Knowledge gap This study specifically investigates the implementation of PKH in Gempol Village, addressing the knowledge gap regarding community attitudes and the practical obstacles that impede program success. Aims aim of this research is to analyze the barriers faced by stakeholders and participants in the execution of PKH. Results Findings reveal that successful implementation depends on enhanced coordination among government officials, program coordinators, and beneficiaries, as well as the necessity for ongoing education to ensure participants comprehend the requirements for enrollment in the program.The novelty of this research lies in its focus on financial management skills, which are often overlooked but crucial for effective fund utilization among beneficiaries.The implications of this study underscore the importance of strengthening communication among stakeholders and providing targeted educational interventions, ultimately contributing to the sustainability and effectiveness of the PKH initiative and similar community development programs in rural settings. Financial Literacy Program for Housewives in Rubber Plantation Villages in Indonesia

The Financial Literacy Program for Housewives in Rubber Plantation Village aims to improve understanding and skills in family financial management, especially among housewives vulnerable to income fluctuations. This activity was conducted online through the Zoom application and attended by 50 housewives. The methods include three-month interactive training, group discussions, and post-training mentoring. The results of the initial Survey showed that most participants did not have a monthly budget plan (80%), did not save regularly (70%), and did not understand the importance of debt management and insurance (85%). After the training, there was a significant increase in understanding and practice of financial management. As many as 65% of participants started preparing a monthly budget, 55% saved regularly, and 45% understood how to manage debt wisely. Although there are challenges in implementing financial literacy, especially related to income instability, this program has proven effective in increasing awareness and financial management skills. The final Survey also showed increased awareness of the importance of emergency funds and long-term financial plans, although the percentage is still relatively low. With this program, it is hoped that housewives in rubber plantation villages can be more independent and resilient and manage family finances better amid economic uncertainty

Penyuluhan Pengolahan Jeruk Lemon dan Keripik Kentang bagi UMKM, Pokdarwis, Petani, Nelayan, Kader Posyandu, dan Peternak pada Desa Wisata Margaluyu Pengalengan, Kabupaten Bandung

This activity aims to provide education on proper techniques for processing lemons and potato chips, specifically for MSMEs, Pokdarwis, farmers, fishermen, posyandu cadres, and livestock breeders in the tourist village of Margaluyu, Pengalengan, Bandung district. The method employed in this activity involves counseling based on materials provided by competent resource persons. The results of this community service activity indicate that participants have gained a clear understanding of the importance of proper processing techniques, as well as the economic impacts on MSMEs, Pokdarwis, farmers, fishermen, posyandu cadres, and breeders in Margaluyu Tourism Village, Pengalengan, Bandung Regency. Additionally, participants have also improved their skills in financial management

ANALISIS ATURAN ASOSIASI KESALAHAN STATISTIKA SISWA KELAS X-11 SMA NEGERI 10 SAMARINDA BERDASARKAN KRITERIA WATSON

Mathematics plays an important role in forming systematic thinking patterns, logic, and financial management skills. However, many students have difficulty in understanding mathematical concepts due to various factors, which affect the success of learning. This study aims to identify and classify common errors of class X-11 students of SMA Negeri 10 Samarinda in solving statistics problems using mixed quantitative and qualitative methods. solving statistics problems using mixed methods, namely quantitative and qualitative. Using the apriori algorithm with a minimum support of 20% and 80% confidence, four types of errors were found that were often made by students, namely incorrect data errors, procedural errors, missing conclusions, and skill hierarchy problems. Data analysis and interviews showed a strong correlation between these errors, where errors in data collection often lead to data manipulation and incorrect conclusions. To overcome this problem, the school has implemented more effective learning strategies, such as additional guidance, material adjustments, and contextual approaches. These strategies are expected to improve students' conceptual understanding, reduce errors, and improve academic achievement in statistics.

OPTIMIZING FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT IN SMALL AND FAMILY-OWNED ENTERPRISES: A LITERATURE REVIEW ON SIGNALING AND AGENCY THEORIES

This research explores the role of ownership structure, agency relationship dynamics, and the implementation of financial signals in the context of small and family firm financial management. Employing the Systematic Literature Review method, a literature review was conducted to gather, filter, and analyze relevant literature on the topic. The research findings indicate that a deep understanding of ownership structure enables firms to design more efficient risk management policies and decision-making. Additionally, an understanding of agency relationship dynamics allows firms to manage conflicts of interest more effectively through the development of appropriate oversight mechanisms and incentives. The proper use of financial signals was also found to enhance transparency and external stakeholders' trust in the firm, thereby opening doors to better access to external capital. The conclusion drawn from this research is that effective financial management practices are crucial for the long-term success of small and family firms. The implications of these findings emphasize the need for firms to continuously update their knowledge and skills in financial management and actively apply proven principles in their own context. Thus, they can remain competitive in an ever-changing business environment and meet their long-term objectives.

PkM OF Enhancement Financial Literacy Through Training And Simulation Family Financial Management

Family financial management involves planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and controlling family economic resources to optimally meet needs. Effective management skills are essential, as income levels do not always determine the sufficiency of needs. Families often face uncertain income sources. As the smallest unit supporting national development, the economic strength of families contributes to national growth. Therefore, this service focuses on enhancing family financial management skills through training. The target of this community service program is the residents of Waai Village, Salahutu District, Central Maluku Regency. The issues faced include a lack of knowledge about household economics, absence of financial records, and difficulties in calculating income from various sources. As a result, community members tend to incur debt to meet urgent needs and lack savings, leading to all income being spent on daily necessities. This program aims to provide the residents of Waai Village with knowledge and skills in family financial management to improve their welfare. The training materials include concepts and applications of family financial management.

The Effect of Financial Literacy on Financial Management of Teachers and Employees in Islamic Boarding Schools

The primary objective of this study is to determine the influence of financial literacy on the financial management practices of teachers and employees at Pon-Pes Nabil Husein in Samarinda. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method, utilizing observation and questionnaires for data collection. The population in this study consists of teachers and employees at Pon-Pes Nabil Husein in Samarinda. A purposive sampling technique was used, selecting 63 samples from a total population of 142 based on specific criteria. The criteria for selection included teachers and employees who are permanent staff and have been employed for at least three years. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy significantly affects financial management. This is evidenced by the t-test results, where t_calculated (7.773) > t_table (2.982) and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This conclusion confirms that financial literacy positively impacts the financial management of teachers and employees at Pon-Pes Nabil Husein in Samarinda. The findings of this study highlight the crucial role that financial literacy plays in enhancing financial management skills among educators and staff.

Improved urban road network and small and medium enterprises’ financial performance: Evidence from Tanzania

This study assessed the impact of improved urban road network on financial performance of Small and Medium Enterprises focusing in Dodoma, Tanzania. The study employed a cross sectional research design where by a sample of 89 SMEs from the selected three wards in Dodoma city was used to draw the conclusion. Qualitative data collected through questionnaires were analyzed using content analysis while quantitative data analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The key findings from the study include: i) accessible roads to customers toward SME were having positive influence to SMEs performance ii) market accessibility by customers and consumers was the key factor in improving SMEs financial performance in Dodoma city and lastly, an effective time management and improved transportation of goods and services were positive related to the amount of sales revenue generated by SMEs. The conclusion is drawn to improve the urban road networks as among of the key factors in improving the performance of SMEs in Dodoma city by increasing sales and profit. It is therefore recommended that, the government and other stakeholders in the construction sector should continue to improve urban road networks and start offering basic business and financial management skills which would enable SMEs owners to make informed investment decisions as well as enhance their entrepreneurial skills which will facilitate in recognizing and exploiting the available business opportunities.

Fenomena Penggunaan E-Commerce terhadap Perilaku Konsumsi Mahasiswa

The use of E-Commerce platforms has a significant impact on students' shopping patterns and consumption behavior. This article aims to analyze the factors that influence students in choosing to shop through E-Commerce and its impact on students' consumptive behavior from the perspective of consumption theory and modernization theory. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach, with sources collected through literature studies, data analysis, validity of analysis with data triangulation techniques. The results show that factors such as ease of use, price, product quality, availability of goods, emotional benefits, and tangible evidence influence students in choosing to shop through E-Commerce. The impact is a significant change in students' consumption patterns, which includes satisfaction with purchases, ease of product access, but also uncertainty about future needs and changes in shopping priorities. The implication is the importance of financial awareness and wise financial management skills for university students in dealing with the use of E-Commerce to minimize the negative impacts and maximize the benefits in improving their quality of life.

Fostering Financial and Family Well-Being: A Qualitative Study on How Parents Utilized the Expanded Child Tax Credit

ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of the 2021 temporary expanded Child Tax Credit on families’ economic and social well-being. Using a qualitative research design we followed 18 families who received the Child Tax Credit, conducting multiple interviews for a total of 43 interviews. Economic benefits included reductions in hardships, enhanced financial management skills, the incorporation of child-related activities and enrichment and in some instances more future orientated economic behavior. We also found that the monthly benefits may have several advantages over the annual lump sum payment. Social and psychological benefits included a reduction in stress, stigma, and enhanced family well-being.

Analysis of the Role of Bank Indonesia's Leading Entrepreneurship Initiative (WUBI) in Increasing Competitiveness in the Digital Era, Case Study of MSMEs Representatives of Bank Indonesia North Sumatra

Bank Indonesia has a program called Wirausaha Binaan Unggulan Bank Indonesia (WUBI) which focuses on improving the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era. This research analyzes the role of WUBI in improving the competitiveness of MSMEs with a case study of MSMEs assisted by Bank Indonesia Representative of North Sumatra. Qualitative research methods were used with primary data obtained through in-depth interviews with fostered MSMEs. The results showed that WUBI plays an important role in improving the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era through: (1) capacity building through training and mentoring, (2) business and marketing network development, and (3) utilization of digital technology for business efficiency and effectiveness. In conclusion, the WUBI Program has a positive impact on MSME competitiveness, increasing sales, profitability, and market access. The program also helps MSMEs improve their financial management, digital marketing, and product development skills.

Assuring the Sustainability and Growth of Small and Medium-Sized Manufacturing Enterprises in Botswana: An Exploratory Study

This paper explored the factors that impact the sustainability and growth of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in Botswana. A self-administered structured questionnaire was used to survey 348 owners/managers of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises (SMEs) in the South Eastern District of Botswana. Descriptive and inferential statistics were generated from the gathered data using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (IBM SPSS Version 27.0). findings revealed that entrepreneurial factors, firm-specific factors and exogenous factors impacted the growth and sustainability of manufacturing firms in Botswana. In addition, government policies and guidelines, innovation and creativity, human capital development, access to finance, financial management skills and managerial skills were also confirmed as significantly contributing to the growth and sustainability of manufacturing small and medium-sized enterprises in Botswana. Key recommendations derived from these findings include the need for policymakers in the government of Botswana and private sector partners to upskill owners/managers of manufacturing enterprises on business planning, financial management, financial literacy, quality management, and market research skills. Furthermore, efforts should be accelerated to promote products manufactured in Botswana to regional and global markets.

The Influence of Factors on Students' Financial Management: SEM Approach

This study aimed to identify the factors influencing student financial management in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. The study included 206 Jakarta Metropolitan Area respondents who met the following criteria: active students at Jakarta Metropolitan Area universities aged 17 to 25 years. The study employed the SEM-PLS method as the primary analysis approach. The results indicated that several factors showed positive and negative correlations on student financial management in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. Specifically, self-control and financial literacy, which are internal factors, influenced financial management, while allowances and good lifestyle, which are external factors, had no influence. These findings suggest that individuals tend to manage their finances effectively when equipped with a thorough understanding of financial principles and strong self-control. The results of this study offer significant practical implications for the Jakarta Metropolitan Area government in designing strategies to increase financial inclusion more effectively. This study emphasizes the importance of self-control and financial literacy as the main factors affecting financial management skills among college students, and lifestyle factors and the amount of pocket money have no significant effect. Furthermore, financial institutions can use these findings to develop better financial products to meet consumers' preferences for sound financial principles. By providing a better understanding of the factors influencing financial management, this research can contribute to more responsible, sustainable, and compliant financial management within society.

The Influence of Financial Literacy and Socio-Demographics on the Financial Management Behavior of Migrant Students in Surabaya

This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and sociodemographic characteristics on the financial management of migrant students in Surabaya. We employed a quantitative descriptive approach and collected data through a shared Google Form. The analysis was conducted using Stata software. The results of our research reveal that a higher level of financial literacy has a positive and significant impact on the financial management abilities of migrant students. However, sociodemographic factors such as age, gender, and income do not exhibit a significant influence on their financial management. This analysis provides valuable insights into the significance of enhancing financial literacy among migrant students, thereby assisting them in improving their financial management skills.

Abstract A little-known Athenian financial magistracy: the poristai The essay examines the role of the poristai, a financial magistracy that functioned in Athens between the 5th and 4th centuries BC, and to which scholars have devoted scarce attention. The importance that Athens ascribed to the poroi was a central factor in its politics from as early as the 5th century. Management of the Athenian economy underwent a series of substantial changes from the end of the Peloponnesian War onwards, and since the state required increasingly specialized financial management skills, these authorities seem to have played a prominent role. The difficult economic situation that ensued from the Sicilian defeat of 413 had necessitated the creation of this unusual board of magistrates known as the poristai, whose unusual task was most likely that of administering public funds and state revenues. This essay focuses on references to the board in ancient sources, and on the often ‘technical’ use of the verb porizo, in order to shed light on the functions and identity of some of these magistrates, and on the possibility that this initially anomalous office gradually gained a permanent status during the 4th century.

Entrepreneurial Skills and Spirit of Students In Higher Vocational Colleges in Guangdong, China

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the employment landscape, making entrepreneurship a critical alternative for students in higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province, China. This study investigates the relationship between entrepreneurial spirit and skills and entrepreneurial education among these students. Utilizing a sample of 623 students and 23 teachers from three higher vocational colleges, the research employs a descriptive-correlational-quantitative approach. The findings reveal a substantial interaction between entrepreneurial skills and education, demonstrating that entrepreneurship education effectively enhances students' entrepreneurial abilities and mindset. Teachers are integral in delivering this education, focusing on cultivating both professional skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. The study underscores the necessity for robust entrepreneurship education to prepare students for the challenges of the modern economy, promoting self-employment and job creation. By developing strategic planning, financial management, relationship management, and problem-solving skills, students are better equipped to navigate the complexities of starting and managing their own businesses. This research contributes to the understanding of how educational practices can foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem within vocational institutions, ultimately supporting economic growth and innovation. The results highlight the importance of comprehensive entrepreneurial education in vocational colleges to ensure students are well-prepared for future entrepreneurial endeavors.

The Impact of Startup Mentoring Programs on the Entrepreneurial Intention of Startup Projects in Central Vietnam

This research evaluates the impact of startup mentoring programs on the intention to start new venture creation of startup projects in central Vietnam. The research data was collected from a survey of 250 mentees participating in mentoring programs organized in provinces in the central region of Vietnam. The results of the research show that the mentoring program has an impact on 5 factors leading to the entrepreneurial intention of mentees in descending order, including: Financial Management Skills, Strategic Thinking, Team Building Skills, Visionary Thinking, and Communication Skills. The research results also show that the mentoring program does not have enough impact on Risk Taking Capabilities to lead to the entrepreneurial intention of mentees.

Pendampingan UMKM: Meningkatkan Daya Saing Dan Inovasi di Era Digital Pada UMKM Bintang Emas di Desa Kasengan, Kecamatan Manding, Kabupaten Sumenep

The SME assistance program entitled "SME Assistance: Enhancing Competitiveness and Innovation in the Digital Era for Bintang Emas SMEs in Kasengan Village, Manding Subdistrict, Sumenep Regency" was implemented from March 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024. This program aims to enhance digital capacity, product innovation, and modern marketing strategies for Bintang Emas SMEs. Through digital marketing training, product innovation workshops, and technical assistance, participants learn to utilize digital technology and e-commerce platforms to enhance the visibility and sales of their products, including the flagship product of cassava chips. The results showed a 25% increase in sales in the first three months, an improvement in product variety and quality, as well as an enhancement in business and financial management skills. This program also successfully fostered a spirit of mutual cooperation and collaboration in the local community and strengthened the relationship between SMEs and the surrounding community. With these achievements, it is hoped that Bintang Emas SMEs will continue to innovate and adapt to market changes, providing sustainable benefits to the local economy and the welfare of the local community.

Assessment of Entrepreneurship Skills Possessed by Educational Management Undergraduates to Reduce Unemployment Rate in Rivers State

The purpose of the study was to assess entrepreneurship skills possessed by Educational Management undergraduates to reduce unemployment rate in Rivers State. To achieve the purpose of the study, the researchers formulated three (3) specific objectives, research questions and hypotheses respectively to guide the study. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The population of the study comprised of 80 Educational Management lecturers in Rivers State owned universities. The study used the entire population because it was manageable. A structured questionnaire titled “Assessment of Entrepreneurship Skills Possessed by Educational Management Undergraduates to Reduce Unemployment Rate Questionnaire was used as instrument for data collection. The instrument was designed on a four-point rating scale of agreement and was used to elicit responses from the respondents. The instrument was face and content validated by experts in the Department of Educational Management and Measurement and Evaluation Department in Faculty of Education, Rivers State University, Port-Harcourt. Test-retest reliability method was used to establish the reliability coefficient of 0.84. Mean and standard deviation was used to analyze the research questions, while z-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed that Educational Management undergraduates in Rivers State owned universities possess innovative, financial management and risk-taking skills to reduce unemployment rate in Rivers State. The researchers therefore recommend that Rivers State owned universities should; empower Educational Management undergraduates to think outside the box, identify opportunities, and come up with innovative solutions to societal problems, improve on the students’ knowledge and financial management skill to effectively manage finances, allocate resources, and plan for the financial sustainability of their ventures by incorporating financial education into the curriculum and empower students to develop the confidence to pursue entrepreneurial ventures by providing them with opportunities to practice risk-taking in a supportive environment.
