Media Forum Nusantara is faced with a problem where there are many prospective employees who take the selection test, it will cause the number of incoming files to be adjusted to the criteria owned by the company and requires a lot of time. Making it prone to file errors. To minimize the occurrence of errors and the length of time used, a Decision Support System was made to determine the best prospective employees who will work in the company. Decision Support System method used is Additive Ratio Asssessment (ARAS)

Access and real-world use patterns of esketamine nasal spray among patients with treatment-resistant depression covered by private or public insurance

Objective To describe access and real-world use patterns of esketamine nasal spray among adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) with private or public insurance. Methods Adults with ≥1 claim for esketamine nasal spray were selected from Clarivate’s Real World Data product (January 2016–March 2021). Patients with evidence of TRD initiating esketamine (index date) after 05 March 2019 were included. Esketamine access, as measured by pharmacy claim approval rate for each treatment session, and use patterns were described post-index (follow-up period). Results Among 535 patients with pharmacy claims for esketamine nasal spray (mean age 49.1 years; 65.4% females), 534 had the first esketamine claim being a pharmacy claim, of which 34.6% were approved, 46.3% were rejected, and 19.1% were abandoned. Main reasons for rejection included “claim not covered by plan” (57.1%), “claim errors” (52.6%), and “prior authorization required” (22.7%). The approval rate increased to 85.2% by the second esketamine treatment session. A total of 273 patients initiated esketamine (mean age 49.3 years; 66.3% females). Patients had a mean ± standard deviation (SD) of 11.8 ± 13.3 esketamine sessions over a mean ± SD of 11.8 ± 6.4 months; 47.6% of patients completed ≥8 sessions (i.e. the number of sessions in induction phase) over a mean ± SD of 80.1 ± 71.9 days (per label, 28 days); 48 (17.6%) patients completed induction per label, and among them 93.8% continued treatment. Conclusions Initial access to esketamine nasal spray may be hindered by prior authorization or claim filing errors. Among patients who initiated esketamine, treatment compliance generally deviates from label recommendations; yet, most of those who received induction per label successfully transition to maintenance with esketamine.

Design and Development of a Web-Based Medical Record Retention Information System at Polyclinic X Jember Regency

Medical record retention activities that have been carried out at Polyclinic X Jember Regency have encountered obstacles in sorting files that are still manual, starting with the officer checking the month and year of the patient's last visit to the Polyclinic's SIM Clinic, then taking several medical records on the storage rack and recording the medical record number for sorting. There are quite a lot of files on the storage rack, making officers have to sort the files one by one. The type of research used R&D with the Waterfall system development method, namely Requirement Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation and Unit Testing, Integration and System Testing, also Operation and Maintenance. Data collection techniques using interviews and observations with 2 respondents, namely the head of polyclinic and medical records officers. This study aims to design and create a web-based medical record retention information system by minimizing errors in sorting medical record files and facilitating the performance of medical record officers in the filing section. The result of this research is a web-based medical record retention information system created using the PHP programming language.

3D 프린팅 출력물을 위한 3D 모델링의 오류 분석과 해결방안

Digital technology has attempted to blur the boundaries between architectural design and fabrication, which have been established since the Renaissance. However, these boundaries still exist, due to the discontinuity between digital modeling and fabrication, which often derives from errors encountered in the process of file conversion. To bridge this discontinuity, this study intends to identify and analyze the causes of errors during the process of converting 3D modeling to Standard Triangulated Language (STL) file, and then to provide solutions that fix the errors. The STL file errors are results of failing to understand or ignoring the difference between 3D modeling for 3D printing and for visual presentation. For this reason, this study conducted an error analysis using Materialize Magics (STL editing and repairing software) to investigate types of the errors and to suggest ways of repairing 3D modeling with such errors.

Tamil OCR Conversion from Digital Writing Pad Recognition Accuracy Improves through Modified Deep Learning Architectures

Digital handwritten recognition is an emerging field in optical character recognition (OCR). A digital writing pad replaces manual writing. In digital writing, the alphabet changes in font and shape. During OCR recognition, covert text file errors occur due to digital pen pressure and digital pen position on the digital pad by the writer. The shape changes in the alphabet lead to an error during the conversion of OCR to text. The above problem arises in Tamil, Chinese, Arabic, and Telugu, where the alphabet consists of bends, curves, and rings. OCR‐to‐text conversion for the Tamil language has more word errors due to angles and curves in the alphabet, which need to be converted accurately. This paper proposes ResNet two‐stage bottleneck architecture (RTSBA) for Tamil language‐based text recognition written on a digital writing pad. In the proposed RTSBA, two separate stages of neural networks reduce the complexity of the Tamil alphabet recognition problem. In the initial stage, the number of inputs and variables is reduced. In the final stage, time and computation complexity are reduced. The proposed algorithm has been compared with traditional algorithms such as long short‐term memory, Inception‐v3, recurrent neural networks, convolutional neural networks, and a two‐channel and two‐stream transformer. Proposed methods, such as RTSBA applied in the digital writing pad‐handwritten and HP lab datasets, achieved an accuracy of 98.7% and 97.1%, respectively.

Research on Error Correction Model of Transformer-Meter Relationship in Low Voltage Distribution Network Based on Combined Clustering Strategy

At a time when distributed microgrids are gradually becoming the main form of renewable energy access, the distribution network plays an important role in serving the access and consumption of renewable energy, and is a powerful guarantee to promote the realization of the “double carbon” goal. However, due to the complex structure, frequent file changes, untimely governance and maintenance, the distribution station area cannot accurately perceive the ownership of transformer-meter relationship files. This paper presents an error correction method of transformer-meter relationship files in low-voltage substation area based on correlation analysis and clustering. Aiming at the application scenario of transformer-meter relationship file error under different busbars, the error correction is carried out by using the principle that the user voltage sequence curve of the error file has a lower similarity with the transformer voltage curve, and the voltage amplitude difference is larger. The results show that this method has high practicability and effectiveness.

Using checksum to improve the reliability of embedded convolutional neural networks

Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have been used in resource-constrained edge devices, including safety-critical applications. However, recent studies demonstrate that soft errors may result in CNN prediction failures. Many approaches are proposed at the end of layers to detect computation errors. Still, these approaches incur severe overheads or cannot detect errors in memory, e.g., traditional Double Modular Redundancy (DMR) can protect data integrity in memory, but it incurs significant overheads on time and memory. Some existing DNN-specific approaches are lightweight to protect DNNs from transient faults but cannot provide high fault coverage to detect permanent faults in memory. Thus, we propose two low-cost software approaches, channel-based weight checksum and layer-based output checksum, which protect the integrity of weights and layer outputs in memory. We perform a large number of fault injections to evaluate the performance of the proposed approaches and compare them with other approaches. The results show that combining the proposed approaches can provide approximately 100 % fault coverage for weights and layer outputs in memory. The combination increases total time and memory overheads by 4 % and 17 %, respectively, for DNNs that run sequentially. In addition, we observe that the layer-based output checksum can improve the error resilience of register files because most SDCs caused by register file errors are induced by the control flow error and the pointer error. Finally, we present a case study on MobileNet to show that our approaches can be generalized to other DNN libraries that run parallel by dividing the single-layer execution into N parts. When N is 2, our approaches increase total time and memory overheads by 7.4 % and 31 %, respectively.

On the Numbers of Particles in Cells in an Allocation Scheme Having an Even Number of Particles in Each Cell

We consider the usual random allocation model of distinguishable particles into distinct cells in the case when there are an even number of particles in each cell. For inhomogeneous allocations, we study the numbers of particles in the first K cells. We prove that, under some conditions, this K-dimensional random vector with centralised and normalised coordinates converges in distribution to the K-dimensional standard Gaussian law. We obtain both local and integral versions of this limit theorem. The above limit theorem implies a χ2 limit theorem which leads to a χ2-test. The parity bit method does not detect even numbers of errors in binary files; therefore, our model can be applied to describe the distribution of errors in those files. For the homogeneous allocation model, we obtain a limit theorem when both the number of particles and the number of cells tend to infinity. In that case, we prove convergence to the finite dimensional distributions of the Brownian bridge. This result also implies a χ2-test. To handle the mathematical problem, we insert our model into the framework of Kolchin’s generalized allocation scheme.

ANALISIS PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN DAERAH DALAM PROSEDUR PENERBITAN SURAT PERINTAH MEMBAYAR UANG PERSEDIAAN PADA SEKRETARIAT DPRD PROVINSI SUMATERA UTARA

This study aims to find out how the procedure for issuing an Order Paying Inventory Money at the Secretariat of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province. The DPRD Secretariat of North Sumatra Province has the duties and functions of organizing the DPRD secretariat, organizing DPRD secretariat finances, supporting the implementation of DPRD duties and functions, experts needed by DPRD in carrying out their functions in accordance with regional financial capabilities, so that in managing regional finances must have a system and function of procedures which is adequate as one of the guidelines for action in carrying out regional financial procedures so that there are no file errors during the process of submitting a Payment Order. This is determined by the procedure for submitting a Request for Payment of Inventory Money until the issuance of an Order for Paying Inventory Money. The method used in this research is to use descriptive method. Based on the results that the researcher obtained, the system used for the issuance of the Order to Pay Money Supply at the Secretariat of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province used the Regional SIMDA application and the procedure for submitting a Request for Payment of Inventory Money to the issuance of the Order to Pay Money Inventory at the North Sumatra Provincial DPRD Secretariat has been implemented in accordance with the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 13 of 2006.

Gene name errors: Lessons not learned.

Erroneous conversion of gene names into other dates and other data types has been a frustration for computational biologists for years. We hypothesized that such errors in supplementary files might diminish after a report in 2016 highlighting the extent of the problem. To assess this, we performed a scan of supplementary files published in PubMed Central from 2014 to 2020. Overall, gene name errors continued to accumulate unabated in the period after 2016. An improved scanning software we developed identified gene name errors in 30.9% (3,436/11,117) of articles with supplementary Excel gene lists; a figure significantly higher than previously estimated. This is due to gene names being converted not just to dates and floating-point numbers, but also to internal date format (five-digit numbers). These findings further reinforce that spreadsheets are ill-suited to use with large genomic data.

Dawam Prima Perkasa is faced with a problem where the large number of prospective employees who take the selection test will cause the number of incoming files to be adjusted to the criteria owned by the company and require a lot of time, making it prone to file errors. To minimize the occurrence of errors and the length of time used, a Decision Support System was created to determine the best prospective employees who will work in the company. The Decision Support System Method used is the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS). This research has gone through the process of validating the Spearman rank correlation and the value is 0.950. Based on these results, the ARAS method can be used in selecting prospective new employees at PT. Dawam prima Perkasa.

A Bandwidth Statistical Multiplexing and Control Method for Satellite Broadcasting

In the field of satellite data broadcasting, the management quality of data broadcasting bandwidth is directly related to the throughput of the broadcasting system and plays an important role in the performance of satellites. In this paper, for the sun-synchronous orbit meteorological satellite broadcasting which has the conventional product files and emergency information, a broadcast bandwidth statistical multiplexing and control method is designed for bandwidth management. It can be used for the management of broadcasting between regular products and emergency information, as well as internal broadcasting among regular products. This paper is the first to apply common multiplexing of PID and channel mode (CMPCM) to satellite broadcasting. The test verified that the broadcast channel of the parameters and the broadcast schedule management channel resources achieved statistical multiplexing of bandwidth, ratio of channel management functions, and data broadcast control. Broadcasting occupation ratio (BOR) and broadcasting file error ratio (BER) improved significantly. This is significant for improving the efficiency of satellite uplink broadcasting.

Correction of patient medical record errors through a file control method

AimThe purpose of this study was to reduce the errors that might occur in the medical practice records to the lowest possible level, thereby contributing to a better quality of health care services. The aim of this study is to reduce the errors and deficiencies in the patient files by providing training related to medical records and patient files to the personnel who are responsible for filling the patient files. This study was based on medical record errors in patient files. MethodThe study was carried out in a training and research hospital in the Turkish health sector, and 360 physicians, nurses, and medical secretaries took part. In this context, the mistakes in the patient files were monitored and recorded, the recordings were analyzed to determine error areas, and the participants were trained to enter patient files correctly and completely. ResultsThe error-free patient file rate was 9% in the first month of the study. In the second month of the study, the participants were trained to properly complete the patient's files. The error-free patient files rate increased to 35%, 41%, 69% in the second, third, and fourth month of the study, respectively. ConclusionOur data demonstrate the importance of educating health workers to prevent mistakes in medical records. Our data also demonstrate the necessity of using electronic medical recording systems. All health institutions should move into regular, accurate, and complete recording systems to prevent medical errors that might arise in terms of patient and employee safety, thereby helping to fulfill their legal responsibilities.

Debugging experiment machinery through time‐course event sequence analysis

This application note describes an open-source web application software package for viewing and analysing time-course event sequences in the form of log files containing timestamps. Web pages allow the visualisation of time-course event sequences as time curves and the comparison of sequences against each other to visualise deviations between the timings of the sequences. A feature allows the analysis of the sequences by parsing selected sections with a support vector machine model that heuristically calculates a value for the likelihood of an error occurring based on the textual output in the log files. This allows quick analysis for errors in files with large numbers of log events. The software is written in ASP.NET with Visual Basic code-behind to allow it to be hosted on servers and integrated into web application frameworks.

NEURAL NETWORK-BASED DOUBLE ENCRYPTION FOR JPEG2000 IMAGES

The JPEG2000 is the more efficient next generation coding standard than the current JPEG standard. It can code files witless visual loss, and the file format is less likely to be affected by system file or bit errors. On the encryption side, the current 128-bit image encryption schemes are reported to be vulnerable to brute force. So there is a need for stronger schemes that not only utilize the efficient coding structure of the JPEG2000, but also apply stronger encryption with better key management. This research investigated a two-layer 256-bit encryption technique proposed for the JPEG2000 compatible images. In the first step, the technique used a multilayer neural network with a 128-bit key to generate single layer encrypted sequences. The second step used a cellular neural network with a different 128-bit key to finally generate a two-layer encrypted image. The projected advantages were compatible with the JPEG2000, 256-bit long key, managing each 128-bit key at separate physical locations, and flexible to opt for a single or a two-layer encryption. In order to test the proposed encryption technique for robustness, randomness tests on random sequences, correlation and histogram tests on encrypted images were conducted. The results show that random sequences pass the NIST statistical tests and the 0/1 balancedness test; the bit sequences are decorrelated, and the histogram of the resulting encrypted images is fairly uniform with the statistical properties of those of the white noise.

Register File Criticality and Compiler Optimization Effects on Embedded Microprocessors Reliability

In this paper, we investigate the impact of register file errors in modern embedded microprocessors reliability through fault-injection and heavy-ion experiments. Additionally, we evaluate how different levels of compiler optimization modify the usage and failure probability of a processor register file. We select six representative benchmarks, each one compiled with three different levels of compiler optimization. We performed exhaustive fault-injection campaigns to measure the register’s architectural vulnerability factor of each code and configuration, identifying the registers that are more likely to generate silent data corruption or single event functional interruption. Moreover, we correlate the observed reliability variations with register file utilization. Finally, we irradiated with heavy ions two of the selected benchmarks compiled with two levels of optimization, and correlated experimental results with fault-injection analysis.

Commissioning and implementation of Mobius, a commercial independent calculation system for IMRT

Introduction At NUH VMAT and Tomotherapy patient plans were checked using patient-specific QA (PSQA). Mobius was purchased to aid with the reduction of PSQA time (pre-treatment and on linac). Methods Tomotherapy plans were exported to Mobius and the results were compared with those acquired from our existing PSQA system (Delta4 and CheckTomo). The gamma pass rate and the percentage difference in the 95% coverage of the PTVs were used to determine acceptability. Mobius is currently being commissioned for IMRT from OMP and Monaco TPSs. Beam model data within Mobius were adjusted to reflect local equipment. MobiusFX monitors the communication between the linac and R&V system (Mosaiq). The accuracy of the delivery was assessed by checking linac parameters (MU, gantry, collimator, and MLC movements). The system was also tested by creating deliberate errors in DICOM plan files. Results The gamma pass rates for Mobius and CheckTomo were comparable, but not for the Delta4. The tolerances for the 95% coverage difference were set from the mean ± 2 S.D. Tolerances for the gamma pass rate were 96%, 94% and 95% for 5, 2.5 and 1 cm jaws respectively. The same metrics with Tomotherapy will be used for VMAT to assess plan acceptability and the tolerances will be selected as above. Preliminary results suggest that MobiusFX detects large errors in the beam delivery, and plan transfer between TPS and Mosaiq. Discussion and conclusion On Tomotherapy the PSQA workload was reduced, from 3 h/week to 1 h/2 weeks. The FX module workflow is viable and efficient.

Limited Business Knowledge Investors Perceptions Of Auditor Independence In The Provision Of Assurance On Unregulated Nonfinancial Disclosures

Vasarhelyi and Zheng (2013) report that more than 4,000 filing errors have been reported in XBRL interactive data following the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commissions 2009 interactive data reporting mandate. Alles and Gray (2012) report that demand exists for externally provided assurance of XBRL filings if the cost of assurance appears less significant to clients. While the discussion of assurance on XBRL filings generally addresses managements confidence in the accuracy assurance on financial data, a void in the literature exists regarding auditor independence in the provision of assurance on XBRL-generated nonfinancial information. Further, Pinsker and Wheeler (2009) note that limited business knowledge (LBK, hereafter) investors perceptions of and reactions to assurance services have not been fully examined. The results of the present research indicate that LBK investors may be more tolerant of a nonindependent attestation on XBRL nonfinancial data with respect to their long-term investments, but not necessarily for their short-term investments. In addition, companies that provide assurance on voluntarily reported nonfinancial information may feel a level of comfort in the fact that LBK investors do not feel that they would win a lawsuit against the company for a mistake in this information.

Checking correctness of TypeScript interfaces for JavaScript libraries

The TypeScript programming language adds optional types to JavaScript, with support for interaction with existing JavaScript libraries via interface declarations. Such declarations have been written for hundreds of libraries, but they can be difficult to write and often contain errors, which may affect the type checking and misguide code completion for the application code in IDEs. We present a pragmatic approach to check correctness of TypeScript declaration files with respect to JavaScript library implementations. The key idea in our algorithm is that many declaration errors can be detected by an analysis of the library initialization state combined with a light-weight static analysis of the library function code. Our experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach: it has found 142 errors in the declaration files of 10 libraries, with an analysis time of a few minutes per library and with a low number of false positives. Our analysis of how programmers use library interface declarations furthermore reveals some practical limitations of the TypeScript type system.

Error rates in physician dictation: quality assurance and medical record production.

The purpose of the paper is to determine the instance of errors made in physician dictation of medical records. Purposive sampling method was employed to select medical transcriptionists (MTs) as "experts" to identify the frequency and types of medical errors in dictation files. Seventy-nine MTs examined 2,391 dictation files during one standard work day, and used a common template to record errors. The results demonstrated that on the average, on the order of 315,000 errors in one million dictations were surfaced. This shows that medical errors occur in dictation, and quality assurance measures are needed in dealing with those errors. There was no potential for inter-coder reliability and confirming the error codes assigned by individual MTs. This study only examined the presence of errors in the dictation-transcription model. Finally, the project was done with the cooperation of MTSOs and transcription industry organizations. Anecdotal evidence points to the belief that records created directly by physicians alone will have fewer errors and thus be more accurate. This research demonstrates this is not necessarily the case when it comes to physician dictation. As a result, the place of quality assurance in the medical record production workflow needs to be carefully considered before implementing a "once-and-done" (i.e. physician-based) model of record creation. No other research has been published on the presence of errors or classification of errors in physician dictation. The paper questions the assumption that direct physician creation of medical records in the absence of secondary QA processes will result in higher quality documentation and fewer medical errors.
