A special place in the scientific life of the Academy of the FPS of Russia is occupied by the scientific school “Organization and administrative and legal foundations of public administration in the penal enforcement system” – a stable community of scientists in the field of administrative law and management science. The article examines the content of the scientific school's activities. Its development at different stages of functioning is analyzed. The positive results of its activities have been demonstrated. The search for solutions to regulate relations requiring public-legal order is indicated.

Koszmar menedżera? Wstępne uwagi dotyczące możliwości zarządzania fandomami

Management more and more often turns to the organization as the subjects of its activities in their functional aspect, not the material one. One of such spaces are virtual communities, including fandoms. However, the achievements of fan studies dealing with them have relatively rarely appeared in management sciences so far. In order to determine the state of scientific considerations related to the management of fandoms, a study of the available literature was carried out, covering the leading scientific journals from the list prepared by the Polish Ministry of Education and Science in the field of management sciences, as well as cultural and religious studies, which deal with topics related to management, and thirdly from the Scopus database. Therefore, the article is of a review nature and its main purpose is to indicate the research gap for the issue of fandom management. Therefore, it constitutes a preliminary diagnosis of the current state of research and seeks an answer to the question: does the issue of fandom management appear in the researched scientific journals? The answer to this question remains essentially negative – although some of the topics discussed in the journals are related to the selected issue, the leading titles included in the list of the Ministry of Education and Science so far lack a comprehensive analysis of it. They appear in journals indexed in the Scopus database and in other publications (e.g. monographs). This situation means a specific lack of systemic support for the entry of texts dealing with fandom management into the mainstream of Polish scientific research.

A bibliometric study on sustainable water management research evidence from the Scopus database

The recognition of the importance of sustainable water management has increased due to the emergence and strong focus on the Sustainable Development Goal. Consequently, there has been progress in understanding various disciplines, specifically aimed at addressing concerns related to water consumption and pressure, sustainable water generation, and the sustainable administration of water resources. Therefore, the aim of this article is to bridge this gap by using a bibliometric approach to analyze the number of contributions and their impact on the literature regarding awareness of sustainable water management in the field of management sciences. This study seeks to identify areas of research that can be further explored to improve the literature on this emerging subject through a critical analysis of articles obtained from the Scopus database. It is important to note that sustainable water management and awareness are two interconnected and crucial domains that play a vital role in ensuring the sustainable use of water resources and promoting public health. The uniqueness of this study is of great importance for scholars, researchers, and policymakers in the field of management sciences, as it presents a comprehensive research agenda on the awareness of sustainable water management.

Effect of Individuals Task Conflict on Employees Creativity in Private Medical Hospitals of Nangarhar, Afghanistan

The concept of individual task conflict has been a buzzing topic in the field of management sciences and has been considered an integral part of the organization; recent studies have shown that it is crucial for the creativity of employees. Therefore, this research study aims to determine the effect of individual task conflict on employees' creativity in private medical hospitals in Nangarhar, Afghanistan. The data was collected from a sample selected from the population using a stratified random sampling technique, and adopted questionnaires were used to collect the data. Statistical analysis, including descriptive statistics, correlation matrix, and regression analysis, was used to determine the effect of individuals' task conflict on employees' creativity. The results showed a strong and positive association between individual task conflict and employees' creativity. Besides, regression analysis showed that employees' creativity depends on a task-relevant conflict. On the other hand, individual task conflict affects employees' creativity. This study's findings suggest that task conflict is a key factor in promoting employee creativity, consistent with previous research in this area. The results have implications for organizations seeking to promote employee creativity and innovation, highlighting the importance of task conflict in fostering creative thinking and problem-solving.

Preface: 5th International Conference on Business Management, Humanities and Education Engineering (BMHEE 2024)

The 2024 5th International Conference on Business Management, Humanities and Education Engineering (BMHEE 2024) was held on April 27-28, 2024, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The aim of this conference is to bring together innovative academics and experts in the fields of business management, applied economics, corporate governance, humanities, education engineering, and social sciences to a common forum. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences. BMHEE 2024 provides a forum for all attendees to share and exchange ideas and research findings in respective fields. The conference allows the exchange of knowledge between different research domestic and foreign centers representing various fields. We enjoyed 4 keynote speeches and many oral presentations made by the authors which lasted for 10-15 minutes each, and a lot of inspiration sparked during the Q&A parts. Researchers who have contributed their work to BMHEE 2024 shared their findings and experience with other researchers and attendees. Many participants without any contribution of research paper have also been allowed to attend the conference to gain knowledge in their respective areas. This conference is initiated to contribute cutting-edge ideas. Thanks to the dedication of every committee member and the reviewers, we finally made this conference. Review and Prospects of Green Innovation Ecosystems from the Perspective of Value Emergence

With the rise of research on the integration of emergence theory and complex systems, value emergence has become a new model of value creation in green innovation ecosystems. Exploring the research status of green innovation ecosystems from the perspective of value emergence has become a research hotspot in the field of management science. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to use bibliometric methods, explore the current research status of green innovation ecosystems from the perspective of value emergence, and, more importantly, provide a future direction for the integration of emergence theory into complex systems. In this paper, a search was conducted in the Web of Science and CNKI databases, with a time limit from 2009 to May 2023, and through further screening, 159 articles were collected, and CiteSpace software (CiteSpace.6.3.R1) was used for visualizing and exploring bibliometric networks. This study innovatively introduce the value emergence perspective in the context of green innovation ecosystems. The basic interaction, dynamic promotion, and feedback loop of value emergence are taken as the research framework, and the generation mechanism and dynamic evolution of the green innovation ecosystem are analyzed. Finally, three prospects for future research are presented: How do green innovation entities generate basic resources? How do digital transformation and dynamic capabilities promote emerging value? How do internal models and external identifiers promote feedback loops? This paper is highly important for promoting theoretical exploration in the field of green innovation research.

Holistic Management of The Leadership of Pu’un Badui Tribe Exploration

Objective: The objective of this ethnographic study is to examine the leadership style of the chief of the Badui tribe and explore its potential applications in the field of management science, especially in the context of environmental and natural conservation. Theoretical Framework: The leadership in management and education. Leadership style theory, culturall sustainability, and Inculcation approach. Method: The methodology adopted for this research is qualitative with ethnographic approaches. Results and Discussion: it is remarkable that amidst this situation, the Lebak Regency in Indonesia boasts a pristine forest area that remains well-preserved. This successful preservation is thanks to the indigenous Badui tribe, also known as the Kanekes people, and specifically their leader Pu'un, who has effectively safeguarded this region's forests for centuries. In this study, we will examine the obedience of the Badui tribe, focusing on their promotion of nature conservation through the Value Inculcation Approach of their leader. Research Implications: The practical and theoretical implications of this research are discussed, providing insights into how the results can be applied or influence leadership practices in the field of management in general and in education. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the literature by the original leader of Badui tribe. The relevance and value of this research are evidenced by etnographical steps and data analyzes.

Internships in Clinical Data Science: A Brief Report

Field-based learning opportunities are considered to be an important and increasingly relevant part of professional learning in the biomedical sciences. The purpose of this study was to document internship opportunities in the combined fields of clinical data management and clinical data science among those attending the Society for Clinical Data Management 2022 annual conference. At the time of the survey there were 276 internship positions staffed across 47 organizations representing pharmaceutical, academic, clinical research, software development, and medical device companies, suggesting ample opportunities for those who wished to gain experience in such organizations. The greatest percentage of internships reported were in the United States, but with a wide range of opportunities worldwide.

Актуальные проблемы подготовки специалистов среднего звена по специальности «Документационное обеспечение управления и архивоведение» в современных условиях

The article discusses the problems of mid-level specialists training in the specialty 46.02.01 Documentation support of management and archival science. The relevance of the research is that in the context of the development of the digital environment, the active use of information technologies when working with documents, as well as the adoption of the new Federal State Educational Standard for Secondary Vocational Education in this area requires analysis and revision of the professional training of specialists in the field of documentation management and archival science. The identified problem areas will allow us to adjust the content of educational and methodological complexes in this field of training.

Digital Marketing and Competitive Advantage: Moderated by Digital Transformation

This study aims to determine the development of competitive advantage studies from a digital marketing perspective as a variable influencing factor, besides that the digital transformation variable is also placed as a moderating variable. The approach used is descriptive quantitative using a questionnaire as a data collection tool which is distributed to 205 SMEs in West Java Province, Indonesia. Structural Equation Modeling with simple moderation is used in analyzing data that has been collected, which has previously been tested for validity by Confirmatory Factor Analysis. This study found that digital transformation variables are able to mediate the effect of digital marketing on the competitive advantage of SMEs in West Java province, Indonesia. This is something new or new, because there has been no previous research that places digital transformation as a moderator variable for the influence of digital marketing on competitive advantage. This research has the opportunity to conduct more in-depth studies on larger units of analysis or in more complex industries, so that more interesting and useful things will be found in scientific development efforts, especially in the field of management science.

A Study of Common Errors in Hypothesis Formulation and Testing among University Students in Social and Management Sciences

Formulating and testing hypotheses have been major issues for students, especially in the field of social and management sciences. This study examines these issues. Content analysis was used whereby five (5) projects of undergraduate and postgraduate students were analysed to identify errors in hypothesis writing and testing. The study findings revealed that there are common errors such as inadequate representation of specific variables of the project topics and wrong use of statistical tools in testing hypotheses. The study recommended that students should spend ample time reading literature on research and hypothesis formulation and testing. In addition, supervisors should have adequate knowledge of formulating and testing hypotheses so as to guide those they supervise in following the acceptable principles in the field of social and management sciences.

Research on the influence of digitalization on competitive advantage of manufacturing enterprises

AbstractIn the current era of rapid digital development, the digital transformation of manufacturing has gradually become an inevitable trend in industry development, and the in‐depth study of the relationship between digitalization and competitive advantage has become an important topic in the field of management science. Based on data from Chinese‐listed manufacturing companies from 2012 to 2021, this paper uses empirical analysis to show that digitalization can effectively enhance the low‐cost competitive advantage and differentiation competitive advantage of manufacturing companies, with organizational slack and environmental uncertainty playing a moderating role in this process. The study also delves into the heterogeneity among firms of different scales, ownership characteristics, and life cycles. This research helps to examine the actual effectiveness of manufacturing companies in the process of digital transformation, while also providing a theoretical basis for how manufacturing companies can better acquire and maintain competitive advantages in the process of digitalization.

Sorption‐based treatment of flexographic printing packaging materials ink waste by synthesis of tri‐copolymers via gamma irradiation

AbstractThe treatment or recovery of waste ink constitutes a significant process for the printing and packaging industries, particularly in the flexographic printing of packaging materials. This poses a substantial challenge in the field of waste management science. The application of waste ink recovery, ensuring a safe environment and human health, along with the recovery and sustainability of Earth's resources, has garnered significant global attention. The present research is solely devoted to creating innovative trends without technological barriers for synthesizing a tri‐copolymer to be applied as an effective sorption system for waste ink. The Polyethyleneimine‐Poly Glycidyl methacrylate‐polyethylene glycol diacrylate tri‐polymer (PEI‐PGMA‐PEGDA tri‐polymer) was synthesized and thoroughly investigated using FTIR, TGA, and DSC to confirm its chemical structure, thermal stability, and the shift in melting point affected by radiation dose, respectively. SEM analysis showed significant morphological differences in PEI‐PGMA‐PEGDA tri‐polymer samples before and after treatment with flexographic printing ink waste, offering effective strategies for adsorbing waste printing inks from organic solvents. These findings contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the investigated materials and their potential applications. Additionally, the kinetic study of the sorption efficiency of flexographic ink by two sets of tri‐copolymers with doses of 20 and 40 kGy indicated that 40 kGy has a more efficient capacity. The highest sorption capacity, approximately 97.6%, was observed for a sample of GMA 15% irradiated by 40 kGy with a sorption amount of 2.5 g L−1. This suggests that the current new treatment strategy can be categorized as highly effective waste ink management and should be advocated for in such domains to ensure a safe environment and preserve Earth's resources. The treatment of printing ink for packaging materials is a crucial step towards achieving green printing technology, which must be supported and advanced through research and industrial application.

The Impact of Green Marketing Strategies on Employees Green Performance: An HRM Perspective

The rising concerns of the influence of human actions on the environment has resulted in a growing focus in the field of management science, particularly Human Resource Management (HRM). The right direction of going green must be directly linked with Environmental, Economic, and social performance Also, the field of Green Marketing has recently gained significant interest from researchers and practitioners in the realm of consumer behavior. Marketing and HR are fundamental departments in any organization, and their collaboration is essential for the success and resilience of a business, especially if the focus on sustainable development. This research aim to identify the impact of GM on employees’ green performance (GP). Also, to enhance research efforts, and improve the search process for other researchers seeking relevant paper and future research. The research problem has been formulated with the question: Can green marketing impact employees’ green performance by adapting, implementing, and promoting environmentally conscious behavior and corporate sustainability. This article provides a systematic Literature Review of existing research as a methodology. This research found that business can use GM strategies to impact the employees GP. Therefore, promoting and encouraging environmentally conscious practices in the workplace and incorporating a “sustainable culture” will help employees feel healthier, more motivated to finish their work, easily communicating their ideas about best green practices, and more satisfied with the company.

The Intervening role of Absorptive Capacity in the Nexus of Effectual Actions and Performance in Small Businesses

Purpose: This study interrogates the interfering role of absorptive capacity in the relationship between the effectual actions of small businesses and their performance.
 Design/methodology/approach: Structured questionnaires were used to generate primary data from 685 small businesses from a variety of sectors in South Africa. The data was used to interrogate the hypothesized relationships using the partial least squares structural equation modeling technique.
 Findings: The findings report a significantly positive relationship between effectuation and small business performance. Further, it is revealed that absorptive capacity partially mediates the relationship between effectuation and small business performance.
 Research limitations/implications: The limitations of this study include the use of primary data from a sample of small businesses in South Africa and dependence on specific modeling techniques. The implications of this research provide a deeper understanding of the mediating effects of absorptive capacity on the relationship between effectual actions and small business performance.
 Practical implications: This study provides fresh insights into the mediating effects of the absorptive capacity capability of small businesses in the continuous interaction between their effectual actions and performance. As such, it highlights the connection between the growing theory of effectuation and existing theories in the field of management sciences. This study enables the emergence of knowledge that could spur small businesses to effectively navigate the endemic uncertainties prevalent in their contexts.
 Originality/value: This study contributes to the understanding of the role of absorptive capacity in the relationship between effectual actions and small business performance, thus adding value to the literature on small business management.

Evolution of multivariate analysis methods in the field of management sciences

Purpose: The evolution of multivariate analysis methods in the field of management sciences is presented, identifying both the current state and future trends that enable further development in business and administration studies.Methodology: A systematic literature review was conducted on the topic, and the key aspects of the predominant analysis methods are discussed.Results: the predominant methods are Regression Analysis, Structural Equation Modeling and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The results validate previous studies and highlight future trends.Implications: The study explores future trends within AI such as the use of random forests, neural networks and the elastic network.Originality: The evolution of multivariate analysis methods is presented, specifically for the field of management sciences and incorporates the trends of the last 25 years.

Sustainable marketing in theory and practice. Research results

Purpose: Obtaining information (as a result of reviewing available studies and qualitative own research) on sustainable marketing in Poland, with an emphasis on specified research issues, practices in different economic sectors under the brands’ emblems, and taking into account the developed tool kit of activities in this area. Methodology: Research of secondary information sources, online studies, multiple case studies of brands from selected economic sectors focused on the tool kit of methodological actions for sustainable marketing, and participant observation in their chosen initiatives with an analysis and diagnosis of the multifaceted benefits for all involved parties, the environment, land resources and the economy. Findings: A tool kit dedicated to sustainable marketing. Diagnosis of the state of sustainable marketing development in Poland. Presentation of identified examples of tool applications by brands from various economic sectors. Research limitations: The article is based on literature research and qualitative studies using multiple case studies, participant observation and online research. It is worth analyzing the research problem on a larger number of brands. A survey of the opinions of brand community representatives is planned to obtain information on the reception of individual campaigns. Practical implications: The original author’s list of sustainable marketing instruments expands knowledge in the field of management and quality sciences and has practical applications. Diagnosing the state of sustainable marketing in Poland provides a basis for improving activities in this area and has enabled the formulation of recommendations for those interested in this marketing concept. Social implications: The research has shown that sustainable marketing activities have an impact on customer behaviours, their experiences, attitudes, engagement and changes in the methods of acquisition and consumption of products, market behaviours, practices of marketers, and as a result, on the entire society and the natural environment. Value: This is the first study of its kind (at least in the Polish market) that addresses the state of sustainable marketing, including examples of the application of its tools, considering the established set of instruments, as well as recommendations for marketers and the resulting practical implications (social, economic, environmental, business and managerial). WORK AND EMPLOYMENT IN A DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT ‒ WILL THE WORLD OF POST-PANDEMIC ORGANIZATIONS BE DIFFERENT – THE CASE OF POLAND

The article addresses the issue of remote and hybrid work provision which emerged in the period of the CIVID-19 pandemic. According to the author, the so-called validity and inevitability of remote or hybrid work provision in the future, postulated in the literature, should be redefined. The cognitive error lies in the marginalisation of the importance of the cultural context and the limited number of dominant areas of remote or hybrid work activity related to the processes of managing the social potential of organisations in Poland. The interest in the issue of potentially working or working remotely/hybrid in Poland is inversely proportional to the total number of employees, which once again demonstrates the impact of momentary changes in the environment of the organisation on the addressed issues in the field of management science and quality.

Building Winning Teams: A Review of Team Trust, Conflict, and Performance in Sports Organizations

Team conflict is an important factor that profoundly affects the competition and training process. Among the many factors affecting the competition and training effect, team conflict has always been ignored. In sports teams, team members have a high degree of interdependence, and members interact frequently and need to trust each other to achieve success. Trust, as the basis and premise of cooperation among sports team members, promotes the coordination between team members, and reduces team conflicts. Furthermore, it creates excellent team performance. In the realm of sports teams, scholars' attention to group sports forms the basis for understanding organizational structures, shared goals, and the need for a high degree of trust. The classification of job interdependence further delineates the collaborative nature within sports teams. The intricate relationship between team trust and team conflict is examined, shedding light on the pivotal role of trust in fostering communication, reducing conflicts, and encouraging alignment towards common goals. Thus, the present review aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of team, team trust, and team conflict, particularly in the context of sports teams. It also sheds light on the intricate relationships and dynamics within teams, aiming to contribute valuable insights to the fields of management science, sports organization, and team dynamics.
