FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY OF FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRY: LESSONS FROM TOFU INDUSTRY IN TRUNAN VILLAGE, MAGELANG

This study aims to examine the financial analysis of the Food Processing Industry in Tofu Center of Trunan Village in an effort to maintain the calculation of operational costs, profit and loss, and investment in minimizing investment losses. In particular, this study aims to calculate the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), and Profitability Index (PI) in the Processed Food Industry in the Tofu Center of Trunan Village. The urgency of this research is to maintain the sustainability of the tofu industry in Trunan Village, which is one of the leading MSME centers in Magelang City and in an effort to maintain food security. Based on the results of the analysis it was found that financially the MSME management in the Tofu Center Food Processing Industry in Trunan Village did not fulfill the feasibility aspect. Net Present Value (Rp 2,147,030,794), Internal Rate of Return shows 2%, Payback Period 2 Years 8 months, and Profitability Index 4.10. Keywords: Feasibility Study, NPV, IRR, PP, PI

Aplikasi E-Modul Suhu dan Kalor sebagai Rancangan Bahan Ajar Fisika di SMA

Physics learning in SMA Negeri 1 Lumajang often uses textbooks rather than learning modules as learning resources, so it is necessary to develop physics e-modules. This study aims to determine the development design and the validity of physics e-modules of temperature and heat material in senior high school. The research method used is descriptive which describe phenomena or characteristics of the population under the study. The research instrument is a validation questionnaire, interview guidelines, and documentation. The data obtained were the results of validation conducted by 3 expert validators and 2 user validators. The results showed that the average value of the five validators covering four aspect of eligibility namely content, construct, language, the content feasibility aspect gets a score of 83%, the construct feasibility aspect gets a score of 83%, the language feasibility aspect gets a score of 90%, the display feasibility aspect gets a score of 86%. The overall average validation aspects of the five validators get a value of 85,8% with very valid criteria. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the physics e-module of temperature and heat material gets validity results with very valid criteria and can be tested for development to students at the research school.

EVALUASI PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS HOTS BERBANTUAN QUIZ BASED LEARNING MATERI PENERAPAN PANCASILA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN CRITICAL THINKING SKILL SISWA KELAS V SD

The aim of this research is to develop a Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based learning evaluation by Quiz-Based Learning (QBL) on the subject of Pancasila application to enhance the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students. This study employs a research and development method through the ASSURE development steps. The experimental design used was a pre-test and post-test design. The results of the study show that the media, as evaluated by media experts, received a validity score of 94%, while the score given by subject matter experts reached 90%, with both considered highly valid. Additionally, teacher responses on the feasibility aspect achieved 95%, also considered highly feasible. Lastly, the results showed an improvement on students' critical thinking skills with an N-gain score of 0.9, indicating a high level of improvement. Therefore, it can be concluded that HOTS-based learning supported by QBL on Pancasila application material is feasible to use for enhancing critical thinking skills.

BOOKLET DIGITAL BERBASIS AUGMENTED REALITY MATERI BILANGAN CACAH MENINGKATKAN SELF REGULATION SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

The aim of this research is to develop a digital booklet based on augmented reality with whole number material to improve self-regulation of class IV students, as well as to test the effect of digital booklets based on augmented reality on self-regulation of class IV students. The method applied in this research is Research and Development (RnD) with steps in developing the ASSURE model. The experimental design used was pre-respond and post-respond with non-equivalent control group design. Based on the research results, it is known that the material validity score by material experts reached 94%, media experts reached 95%, while language experts achieved 97%, all three were categorized as very valid. Apart from that, the teacher response to the feasibility aspect reached 89% in the very feasible category. Based on student responses in the form of a questionnaire to increase self-regulation in the experimental class, the average NGain was 0.3784, while in the control class it was 0.3280. Meanwhile, to test the hypothesis using the t paired sample test, a Sig (tailed) value of 0.000 was obtained. So that 0.000<0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which can be interpreted as meaning that there is an influence of augmented reality-based digital booklets on the self-regulation of class IV students at SDN 2 Tanjungsari, Blitar City.

Estimasi Keuangan Bisnis Waralaba dalam Pengembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah di Indonesia

Financial estimates for a business are important for the company's sustainability in the future, so it becomes the main plan for its sustainability. The estimated financial statements projected at the beginning are perfect for the company in the future. They are used to see the company's sustainability during the business journey from performance management which shows the business operations and financial management which shows the company's liquidity. Based on the instructions presented, this paper aims to create identify, and estimate the finances of a franchise business plan in the aspect of reviewing the feasibility aspect of the business with the estimated income ratio aspect and the existence of cost elements. This research method is descriptive, namely by describing the estimated possibilities so that a statement can be formed that will be projected.

The rental‐function effect: How does product acquisition mode affect consumer preference relating to product attributes?

AbstractPurchasing and renting are two basic modes for consumers to acquire a product. While prior research has investigated which factors affect consumers' choice of renting versus purchasing a product, very limited research studies the outcome of renting versus purchasing a product. Extending this line of research, this paper links product acquisition mode to product attribute preference. Specifically, through a series of eight multimethod studies, including secondary data study, field experiment, and lab experiments, we show that renting a product, as compared to purchasing a product, increases consumers' focus on the product's feasibility aspect rather than its desirability aspect, which in turn drives consumers to prefer the product option with superior function over the one with superior appearance. Furthermore, we show that this rental‐function effect amplifies (attenuates) when the product's brand image is positioned as a mass brand (a luxury brand). This paper uncovers a novel finding of renting products. It also provides practical guidelines for rental companies and marketing managers on how to effectively position their products and optimize advertising strategies.

PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MENULIS BIPA TINGKAT MADYA TINGGI BERBASIS KONTEKS LINGKUNGAN PELAJAR

This development research aims to produce an intermediate high level BIPA writing teaching material product based on the context of the learner's environment that has gone through a validation test. This research adapts Thiagarajan's 4D development model and is limited to the revision stage based on the assessment of expert validators and practitioners. Based on the validation results, an average percentage of 81.25% was obtained in the content feasibility aspect, an average percentage of 83.3% was obtained in the presentation feasibility aspect, an average percentage of 75% was obtained in the language feasibility aspect, and an average percentage of 81.06% was obtained in the display feasibility aspect. From the overall total validation results with an average percentage of 80.15%, it can be concluded that the teaching materials for writing intermediate high level BIPA based on the context of the learner's environment can be said to be feasible to use.

Development of Factory-Based Learning Modules in Clothing Production Units

The aim of research and development is to develop a factory-based learning module in fashion production units in vocational schools that can be used in the classroom or for independent learning. This study was developed based on an analysis of the needs of class XI fashion students at SMK Negeri 1 Beringin. Development research using the 4D method by Thiagarajan. Has the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate research stages. The development process involves input from material experts, media experts, and instructional experts, as well as acceptability testing from students. The results of the research show that (1) the Teaching Factory-Based Learning Module in the Clothing Production Unit received a material expert score in the content feasibility aspect of 3.43, or 85.83% (very feasible). In the feasibility aspect of the presentation, it was 3.23, or 80.68% (feasible). Language assessment aspect: 3.54, or 88.46% (very decent). Instructional expert validation aspect: 3.32, or 82.93% (feasible). Media expert aspects of graphic feasibility are 3.68, or 91.94% (very feasible). Each validation shows that the product is suitable for use in learning. (2) The Teaching Factory Based Learning Module in the Clothing Production Unit is tested using the N-Gain Score to see the effectiveness of media use on learning outcomes. The research results showed a figure of 0.57 (medium effectiveness). Research conclusions: The Teaching Factory-Based Learning Module in the Clothing Production Unit at SMK Negeri 1 Beringin is suitable for use and is effective in improving learning outcomes.

PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR IPAS BERBASIS GOOGLE SLIDE MATERI MAGNET, LISTRIK, DAN TEKNOLOGI UNTUK KEHIDUPAN, KELAS V SD MUHAMMADIYAH 21 MEDAN

This research aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of science and science teaching material products based on Google Slides, Magnet, Electricity and Technology Materials for Life for Class V at SD Muhammadiyah 21 Medan. The method used in this research is the 4D Model Research and Development (R&D) method, namely Define, Design, Development and Dissemination. The research subjects were students in class V-A of SD Muhammadiyah 21 Medan. The results of this research are Google Slide-based science teaching materials which include 3 aspects, namely: assessment of the appropriateness aspect of the material content with a percentage result of 77% (Valid/Suitable for use). Feasibility aspect of design and technology appearance with a percentage of 81% (Valid/Appropriate to use). The practicality aspect obtained a percentage result of 93.3% (Valid/Appropriate for use). Meanwhile, the effectiveness results from the pre-test and post-test were 80.28%. Based on the results of the feasibility test, practicality and effectiveness of this product, it can be concluded that this Google Slides Based Science Teaching Material is very feasible, practical and effective to use.Keywords: Science and Technology Teaching Materials, Google Slides Based, Elementary School Students

Development of A Drama Text Writing Module Based On Character Education for Students Junior High School

This research aims to produce a drama text writing module based on character education for students at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Angkola. The research method used is the Research and Development research method which refers to the Borg and Gall model. The process of developing teaching materials for writing drama texts based on character education is carried out in three stages, namely the preliminary study stage, initial product development and product testing. The results of material expert validation on content suitability obtained an average of 88% in the very good category, the presentation feasibility aspect obtained an average of 84.33% in the very good category and the language assessment obtained an average of 82.5% in the very good category. for graphic assessment by design experts, an average of 80.08% was obtained in the good category. Individual trials obtained an average percentage of 79.77 in the "good" category. Small group trials obtained an average percentage of 85.96 in the "very good" category. Limited field trials obtained an average percentage of 91.87 in the "very good" category. Based on these data, teaching materials that are suitable for teachers and students to use in learning are obtained. Teaching materials for writing drama texts based on character education were declared effective in generating student activity and learning outcomes. This is proven by tests on student learning outcomes in writing drama texts. At the pretest the average was 69 and at the posttest the average was 80. The difference between the pretest and the posttest was 11%, which indicated that learning using teaching materials for writing drama texts based on character education was better than before.

Bio-refinery of palm kernel expeller waste into attached microalgal biodiesel, the life cycle analysis of waste biomass-to-energy

The exploitation of solid carbon waste in the form of palm kernel expeller served two purposes: (i) providing nutrients for microalgal growth and (ii) serving as a medium for the adhesion of microalgal cells. This study examined the life cycle assessment of biodiesel production from attached microalgae, a less explored domain as compared with conventional microalgal system focusing on energy and environmental feasibility aspect. The computed environmental impact indicated that harvesting and lipid production had contributed significantly to the overall impact, though the global warming potential remained low (5.2 × 10−4 kg CO2 eq.). The establishment of scenario analysis had revealed that solvent recovery options resulted in about 48–55 % damage recovery, giving significant decline in the environmental impacts. In terms of energy sustainability, the study revealed a net energy ratio of 0.52, suggesting that the energy output is less than the energy invested. While falling short of ideal energy sustainability, the ratio surpassed that of conventional petroleum diesel and many previous microalgal technologies. Despite challenges, the findings accentuated the importance of continuous improvement in microalgal biofuel processes for enhancing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

The Suitability of Arabic Textbooks Curriculum 2013 for Fifth Graders of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

To achieve the goal of the Country through education, textbooks especially Arabic should be in line with the curriculum that is implemented. About textbook quality, the components of the textbook standard has been developed by National Agency of Education Standards (BSNP) initiated the textbook analysis. This article aimed to find suitability and discrepancy of the contents of Arabic textbooks for fifth graders in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Elementary School) adjusted to the standards set by BSNP. This type of research was content analysis. Meanwhile, in examining the data, descriptive analysis and content analysis were used. Primary data were obtained from Arabic language textbooks and secondary data were obtained from supporting sources such as books and journals. The feasibility of the contents of the Arabic textbook for fifth graders in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah by Sri Sabbahatun on the feasibility aspect of presentation based on motivation generators are available in the form of vocabulary illustrations that are appropriate to the topic of study and students practice the material presented to their group mates so that the class became interactive. Meanwhile, in terms of linguistic feasibility, the language used in mufradat and examples can be practiced by students. The integrated reading in each chapter is quite logical and simple so students can understand it. Among three aspects studied, namely the feasibility of content, presentation and language, it was stated that this Arabic book by Sri Sabbahatun was suitable for use.

Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Perubahan Iklim Berbasis Literasi Sains Bermuatan Karakter Rasa Ingin Tahu Peserta Didik SMP

This study aims to describe the validity of climate change teaching materials based on science literacy and curiosity character of junior high school students. The research method used is research and development (R&D) through the modified four-D (4 D) model. This modul development procedure includes three stages, whisch are define, design and develop. The subjects of this research and development include 5 expert validators. The type of data obtained is quantitative data in the formdof product validation questionnaire scores. The results of research and development of junior high school science teaching materials based on science literacy and characterised by curiosity on the topic of climate change by expert validators obtained validity results with a total of 0.90 with valid criteria. This is reviewed from three aspects: (1) content feasibility scored 0.90 with valid criteria, (2) presentation feasibility aspect scored 0.88 with valid criteria, (3) linguistic feasibility aspect scored 0.92 with valid criteria. So it can be concluded from all the validity tests that the teaching materials developed are classified as valid criteria.

MEDIA SIBEDA BERBASIS AUGMENTED REALITY MENGGUNAKAN LC5E MATERI PERUBAHAN WUJUD BENDA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF-AUTHENTICITY DAN ADVERSITY QUOTIENT SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

The aim of this research is to develop augmented reality-based Sibeda Media (Object Shape Transformation) using LC5E on material object shape transformation to increase the self-authenticity and adversity quotient of Class IV students. The approach applied in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with steps in developing the ASSURE model. The field experimental design used was a one group pretest-posttest design. Based on the research results, it is known that the media validity score by media experts achieved 98%, while material experts gave a score of 96%, both of which were categorized as very valid. While, teacher responses to the feasibility aspect achieved 97.5%, with a very feasible category. Based on student responses, Sibeda media based on augmented reality using LC5E received positive results, namely being able to be effective with a significant influence in increasing self-authenticity in the high category based on the average N-gain score reaching 0.767, and the results of the paired t-test showed significance. with Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Likewise, this product is also able to be effective with a significant effect in increasing the adversity quotient in the high category of students which is based on an average N-gain score of 0.768 and the results of the paired t-test get significant criteria with Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05.

Application of a Collaborative Learning Model to Improve Writing Skills of Class V SD UPT SPF Students at Tuntungan Pancur Batu School Year 2023-2024

Through writing activities, a person can express thoughts and ideas to achieve goals and objectives. The objectives of this research are: (1). To describe the process of developing a collaborative learning model in improving students' writing skills and describe the effectiveness of using a collaborative learning model in improving the writing skills of fifth-grade students UPT SPF Elementary School Number 101826 Tuntungan Pancur Batu. The research design in this research is research and development. The subjects of this research were fifth-grade students at UPT SPF No. Elementary School. 101826 Tuntungan Pancur Batu for the 2023-2024 academic year. The object of research for this research is the writing learning model, namely a collaborative learning model implemented in class V students. The results of the research were: (1). The process of developing a collaborative learning model in improving descriptive text writing skills for fifth-grade students at UPT SPF Elementary School Number 101826 Tuntungan Pancur Batu, namely 1) orienting students, 2) forming groups, 3) preparing learning tasks, 4) facilitating student collaboration and 5) providing value and evaluate collaborative learning. (2). The validation results show that in the feasibility aspect of the material, an average validation score of 4.19 was obtained in the good category, then in the aspect of feasibility of presenting the material, an average validation score of 4 was obtained in the good category and the aspect of language appropriateness, the average score was found. -The validation average is 4.2 in the good category. (3) The collaborative learning model is effective in improving descriptive text writing skills by fifth-grade students at SD UPT SPF Number 101826 Tuntungan Pancur Batu.

VALIDITAS DAN RELIABILITAS MEDIA POSTER UNTUK KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA

Learning independence is a learning activity from individuals not to depend and rely on others to achieve the goals of learning, besides that learning independence is also one of the factors of successful learning achievement that will be obtained by students. This confirms that appropriate media are needed to support students in increasing their learning independence. The method used in the research is Research and Development (R&D) which aims to develop a product in the form of a learning independence poster. The research results obtained are the product in the form of a learning independence poster that must be revised before being used where the content feasibility aspect gets a good assessment with a decent category, the presentation aspect has points that must be corrected because it gets an inappropriate assessment, while the language aspect gets an assessment in a decent category. That way the product in the form of a learning independence poster can be used as a medium in helping students develop learning independence with notes that must be revised first.

Feasibility Analysis of a Roof Tile Factory Business Using a Capital Budgeting Approach

Natural content that supports the need for raw materials and materials needed is provided by the nature around us, such as various plants, soil, water, natural stones, and others. Most of them can be further processed into raw materials for construction products, such as roof tiles and other infrastructure facilities. The financial feasibility aspect is important considering that the business can be categorized as a project, which requires a long payback period based on the accounting period. During this time period there are various things that are full of uncertainty which are influenced by the rate of inflation and bank interest rates, so that the value of investments issued and the income or money obtained now will be different from the value of money in the future, which is called with the value of time rather than money. It is hoped that the analytical tool will be able to provide consideration, input and anticipation for the future of the roof tile manufacturing unit project by paying attention to capital budgeting, which can then be analyzed from a financial aspect through payback period (PP), net present value (NPV), profitability index ( PI) and internal rate of return (IRR). In the roof tile manufacturing business, the PBP is 1 year, 8 months, 6 days faster than the maximum period of 8 years of the project value, positive NPV of IDR 536,821,468, PI of 2,841 greater than number 1 and IRR of 14,835 greater than the cost value of capital 12%. As a basis for decision making through a capital budgeting approach through financial analysis.

Interactive E-Book Model Based on Local Wisdom as a Media for Learning Exposition Text Reading Skills

This study aims describes the process of designing an interactive e-book model based on the local wisdom of Minangkabau culture. This type of research is mixed methods or commonly known as mixed research methods. The mixed model used is a 4-D model consisting of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was conducted on students of class X of State High School 2 Padang. Innovative learning media are indispensable by students to be used independently in the learning process Indonesian. Therefore, research in interactive e-book models is used as one of the alternatives to overcome the limitations of learning media in exposition text reading skills. The results of this study describe the making of an interactive e-book model based on local wisdom of exposition text reading skills with a validity value of 94.44% with a very valid category. Based on the feasibility aspect of content obtained validity value of 97.50% with a very valid category. Based on the aspect of eligibility of validity, obtained a validity value of 89.28% with a very valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the interactive e-book for reading skills reading the exposition text of students of class X is valid and can be continued to the next stage.

PLANNING STUDY OF HYBRID POWER PLANT SOLAR PV-DIESEL GENERATOR ON KODINGARE ISLAND, SINJAI REGENCY

Kodingare Island is located in Pulau Sembilan District, Sinjai Regency, one of nine islands. Currently, most people still rely on conventional energy from diesel power plants. The reason is that this island does not yet receive an electricity supply from the electricity grid due to the geographical limitations of the archipelago. It is known that the most potential renewable energy source on Kodingare Island is solar energy, with a potential for solar radiation reaching 5.86 kWh/m2/day. This research aims to analyze an innovation that combines PV and solar, where PV acts as the main electricity generator, while solar functions as a backup and additional energy source. The method used in this research uses simulation methods, layout modeling, and financial analysis using HOMER Pro simulation software to determine the potential and performance of hybrid power plants and SketchUp Pro software to produce three-dimensional layouts and economic and feasibility values obtained through financial analysis. Technical aspects include producing an electrical energy system of 37,029 Wh/year, consisting of PV of 32,981 Wh/year and solar of 4,048 Wh/year with energy consumption of 33,850 Wh/year. The required fuel consumption is 2,086 L/year, with excess electricity of 931 kWh/year and renewable energy penetration of 89.1%. From an economic perspective, planning this hybrid power system requires an investment of 258.290.000 IDR, O&M costs of 19.350.600 IDR, and the cost of energy value of 1,352/kWh IDR. In contrast, from the feasibility aspect of planning a hybrid electric power system, it is said to be feasible because it produces a Net Present Value of 9,870,151 IDR, is more significant than zero, the Profitability Index is 1.03 greater than one, the Internal Rate of Return is 8.90% greater than the credit interest rate of 8.43% and the Payback Period required for return of capital is nine years nine months.
