PENDIDIKAN BERKELANJUTAN DALAM PENINGKATAN SDM DI DESA CIBODAS KECAMATAN RUMPIN KABUPATEN BOGOR

People can take education from everywhere, such as formal education conducted in schools. Additionally, there is non-formal education, which can occur outside formal education, such as in courses, training institutions, study groups, and others. Continuous education involves activities that aim to enhance evolving knowledge in one's job or responsibilities, leadership training, and improving managerial skills to manage institutions, finances, facilities, and human resources. This community service activity took place in Cibodas Village, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency/City, with the aim of raising awareness among the community about the importance of continuous education to improve human resource quality. The low level of education (above 75% at the elementary education level) is a social problem in the village. This training include materials about continuous education, entrepreneurship, and digital promotional media as a form of continous education. The training was provided to 50 participants from the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) of Cibodas Village, resulting in the creation of village flagship products. Through this training, participants will become catalysts, spreading information to raise awareness in the community and improve continuous education to achieve greater well-being and quality of life.

Improving Skills and Empowering Women Community through Gayatri Womens’ School in Grenden Village, Jember, Indonesia

Womens’ empowerment plays an important role in improving family welfare. Womens’ empowerment can be done through increasing access to education, skills, economic opportunities, health, and participation in decision-making in various fields. This study aims to improve the skills of Womens’ groups in Grenden Village, Jember, Indonesia through non-formal education, namely the Gayatri Womens’ School. The Gayatri Womens’ School was established with the main objective of providing training and non-formal education to women in Grenden Puger Village to face various challenges in terms of skills and employment opportunities for women. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach to explore the research subjects. The subjects of this study include Womens’ groups in Grenden Village who are members of the Gayatri Womens’ School, consisting of one person representing each study group, family welfare empowerment (PKK), and Integrated Service Post cadres. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hubberman interactive model which consists of 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The implementation of the Gayatri Womens’ School activities consists of the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and sustainability. Gayatri Womens’ school training activities were carried out in 6 study groups, namely Krajan 1 class, Krajan II class, Kapuran class, Kumitir class, Karangsono class, and Karetan class. Gayatri Womens’ school activities were able to increase income and improve the environment through the utilization of local potentials such as corn silk tea, fertilizer from corn cobs, corn husk crafts, hair clips, and photo frames from shells, eco print batik, hanging pots from coconut shells and corn milk. Gayatri Womens’ school activities can empower skills to foster an independent and creative attitude in achieving sustainable human resource development.

Pembuatan Lilin Aromaterapi dari Limbah Minyak Jelantah sebagai Upaya Pemberdayaan Ibu-Ibu PKK di Desa Kejagan

This Real Work Lecture (KKN) activity was carried out to empower Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) mothers in Kejagan Village through training in making aromatherapy candles made from used cooking oil. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of PKK women in utilizing used cooking oil into economically valuable products, as well as providing an alternative home business that can increase family income. The method used was a demonstration, where the KKN team demonstrated the process of making aromatherapy candles from used cooking oil directly to the participants. The material provided includes an introduction to used cooking oil, making candles, adding coloring, and using essential oils as fragrances. After the training, participants are given the opportunity to practice making aromatherapy candles independently. Evaluation of activities shows that there has been an increase in the knowledge and skills of PKK women in utilizing used cooking oil into products of marketable value. Apart from that, participants were also enthusiastic about developing an aromatherapy candle business as a home business opportunity. This KKN activity can be a model for community empowerment based on local potential that can be applied in other villages.

Digital marketing communication education for PKK community in Simpang Kanan Village, Tanggamus Regency

Digital marketing communication has become essential for home-based businesswomen, particularly those involved in PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment Program). In Simpang Kanan Village, there is a low level of knowledge among PKK members regarding technology, especially digital marketing. Almost all PKK members market their products directly, limiting their market reach. This community service aimed to educate the partners about digital marketing communication to increase product sales. The methods used were socialization, practice, and mentoring. The results show that 70% of PKK members have improved their understanding of digital marketing communication, enabling them to create persuasive messages and utilize social media for product marketing.

Village Institutions in Village Government have their respective functions and authorities. Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) as one of the Village institutions has a function as a bridging forum in order to empower women to participate in Indonesia's welfare development. Like other village institutions, Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) in Mekajadi Village, Sadananaya District, Ciamis Regency, generally has the same function. Therefore, this service activity aims to provide increased understanding regarding the function of the village institution itself, namely the PKK, in the current era of disruption. The method used in this activity is carried out by providing awareness or increasing understanding about the PKK as one of the Village institutions. The results of this activity show that there is still a need to increase human resources to improve quality in the current era of disruption

Enhancing Family Resilience and Environmental Conservation through Family Food Plant Cultivation

In the Jakarta area, the extensive replacement of green lands with concrete buildings have restricted the opportunity for family land ownership dedicated to conservation. This community service aims to develop motivation and a culture of planting to increase the knowledge, awareness, willingness, and ability of Family Welfare Empowerment (FWE) cadres and preschool teachers to preserve a culture of love for the environment and support family food security. The participants in this community service activity are FWE cadres and preschool teachers from the Jatinegara Kaum village. Conducted in August 2022 at the Child-friendly Integrated Public Space in Jatinegara Kaum, the project utilized the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Through descriptive analysis of the discussions, it was found that FWE cadres and preschool teachers actively engaged and showed their capability as pivotal agents in strengthening community resilience. This successful engagement underlines the potential for ongoing collaborative activities in community education and sustained support for the FWE cadres and preschool teachers.

Literasi Memulai Usaha Baru Dan Pengelolaan Keuangan Sederhana Bagi Usaha Kecil Di Kelurahan Jakasampurna Bekasi

Small businesses play an important role in driving the local economy, creating jobs and supporting inclusive economic growth. Many small businesses are run by the community, but most business actors are still confused about starting a new business and do not have adequate knowledge and skills in managing their business finances. This service activity was carried out with the aim of providing literacy in starting a new business and simple financial management for small businesses in Jakasampurna Bekasi Village. This activity was carried out on 11 and 21 August 2023 at Jakasampurna Bekasi Village and was carried out in two stages, namely delivery of material and evaluation. Participants in this activity were 20 mothers who were members of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK). The final result of this activity was an increase in participants' understanding of the material presented, this was proven through the results of the pre-test and post-test which before taking part in the literacy activity the level of participants' understanding was 50-80% and after taking part in literacy the level of understanding of the participants increased to 80-100 %, and there was a participant satisfaction level of 91% who said they were very satisfied. The very high level of participant satisfaction, namely 91%, shows that this activity has fulfilled the participants' expectations in starting a new business and simple financial management.

The Role and Participation of Family Welfare Empowerment Cadres (PKK) in Stunting Prevention: A Case Study in Bojonegoro

Stunting which is a condition of chronic malnutrition since 1000 days of a child's life is still a health problem in Indonesia, ranked second in the world. Empowerment of health cadres is one of the efforts made by the government in improving the nutritional health of toddlers. This study underscores the urgency of understanding the role and participation of Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) cadres in stunting prevention. The purpose of the study was to analyze the role and level of participation of PKK cadres in implementing stunting prevention programs. The research method included qualitative research with a case study type, using in-depth interviews and observations of PKK cadres as data collection techniques. While the data analysis technique was carried out descriptively using interactive analysis techniques. The results showed that PKK cadres serve as important mediators in disseminating nutrition and health information, as well as facilitating community access to health services. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of empowering PKK cadres as an effective strategy in combating stunting, and emphasize their vital role in supporting child health and sustainable community development.

Pengetahuan dan Sikap Keuangan: Perspektif Manajemen Keuangan dan Financial Self-Eficacy di Lingkungan Desa

This research was conducted to determine the factors that influence the Financial Management Behavior of Women Empowering Family Welfare in Sukomulyo Village. This research aims to analyze the influence of Financial Knowledge and Financial Attitude variables on Financial Management Behavior with Financial Self-efficacy as a mediating variable among Mothers who are Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) Administrators in Sukomulyo Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency. The type of research used is quantitative with data analysis techniques using PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis with the SmartPLS program. The population and sample used in this research were the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) administrators at the Sukomulyo Village Community Association, totaling 135 respondents. The research results show that Financial Knowledge and Financial Attitudes have a positive effect on Financial Management Behavior. Apart from that, both also have a positive effect on Financial Self-efficacy, which in turn also influences Financial Management Behavior. Financial Self-efficacy also functions as a mediating variable, which connects Financial Knowledge and Financial Attitudes with Financial Management Behavior. These findings emphasize the importance of having good Financial Knowledge, a positive Financial Attitude, and strong Financial Self-efficacy in forming wise financial management behavior among mothers in the village.

Peningkatan Pengetahuan dan Keterampilan Warga Desa Babakan melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Cookies Spirulina

Cookies are dry cakes made with flour as the primary baking ingredient. Spirulina platensis was rich in protein, amino acids, glycoproteins, essential fatty acids, polysaccharides, and beta-carotene. Therefore, using sago flour combined with spirulina and seaweed in cookies can increase the nutritional value and produce gluten-free cakes. This training aims to increase knowledge about spirulina, packaging, and product marketing strategies and the skills of Babakan village residents by providing training on making spirulina cookies. This community service activity was conducted by counseling and training on making spirulina cookies in Babakan Village, Dramaga. Counseling activities were carried out to increase knowledge about the potential of spirulina, good packaging, and product marketing strategies, as well as training on making spirulina cookies to improve the skills of Babakan village residents. There were 18 training participants: Family Welfare Empowerment administrators and members. Pre-tests and post-tests were carried out before and after the training activities regarding the topic provided by the speakers. The achievements of the training activities were seen from an increase in post-test results, which was 60% answered correctly compared to only 40% for the pre-test. The evaluation results of the participant's acceptance of training topics and training speakers had an average of 58 to 69%, respectively, perfect. While the participants's assessment of the training facilities and consumption had an average of 50%, they were good.

Social Values in Family Welfare Empowerment Activities in Anjir Serapat Muara Village

Lack of public awareness of the importance of health by starting from a healthy way of life. In addition, the lack of education and knowledge about healthy living is the main factor for people not wanting to do posyandu. Therefore, the existence of Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) is very helpful in meeting basic needs so that families can be empowered and cared for. This study aims to describe the social values in PKK activities in Anjir Serapat Muara village. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation and verification/conclusion. The results of the research describe that the Family Welfare Empowerment work program in Anjir Serapat Muara Village has social values in the activities carried out, namely social values of responsibility, social values of cooperation, social values of caring, social values of empathy and social values of helping each other. The social value obtained is found in the Family Welfare Empowerment activity work program which is routinely carried out every month, namely the Posyandu work program.

Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) has an important role in empowering families with the aim of improving family welfare and the quality of life of the community. PKK can be at the forefront in overcoming various problems that occur in society by mobilizing PKK women. The aim of implementing this service is to introduce entrepreneurship, provide ideas and motivation to start entrepreneurship or independent business. The method used is material presentation, discussion and question and answer and uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The success of this activity was demonstrated by the positive response from the participants as seen by the warm discussions in order to increase the motivation or desire of the PKK women in Jelok village to start entrepreneurship. Assistance is provided until they are able to find the type of business they are interested in.

The relationship between housewive's characteristics and waste-sorting behavior

The world is increasingly pushing efforts to reduce the dangers of waste, and society needs to take wise actions against waste. Women, particularly housewives, are vital in managing household waste. Environmental maintenance programs are also carried out in PKK groups, which are groups that exist in all Neighboring area/Rukun Tetangga (RT) level areas in Indonesia. This review describes the understanding and behavior of housewives towards the litter produced daily, as well as its correlation with internal characteristics. This study obtained primary data from interviews with 47 Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) members from three Neighboring areas (RT) in Salatiga City. The analysis method uses Spearman correlations to look at levels of comprehension and behavior as well as their relationship to respondents' internal characteristics. The study found that almost all respondents produce plastic waste, food scraps, and kitchen waste while cooking in daily activities. The analysis results concluded that there was no correlation between internal characteristics and understanding of waste and behavior of waste sorting. However, there was a correlation between increased understanding of waste and waste sorting behavior.

Performance Analysis of Family Welfare Empowerment Application: A Kanban Method Approach

This research examines the application of the Kanban method in testing a family welfare empowerment application. The Kanban method, initially developed by Toyota in manufacturing, has been effectively applied in software development. This study involves a series of tests involving various features within the application, such as user registration, village data collection, processing of the family welfare empowerment data at the Village/District level, and more. The test results show that most tests were successful, highlighting the application's success in executing essential functions such as user registration and event scheduling. However, some tests failed, primarily in inputting village, hamlet, and community unit data. These results indicate that using the Kanban method in testing a family welfare empowerment application can potentially enhance development and testing efficiency. Metrics such as testing time, test success, and time efficiency have provided valuable insights into the application's performance. In conclusion, this testing provides a foundation for further application development, focusing on improving the areas that experienced testing failures. This research also opens up opportunities for further studies on using the Kanban method in software testing in various other application development contexts.

Pengolahan Limbah Organik Rumah Tangga Menjadi Kompos Melalui Penerapan Metode Takakura

Waste-related problems are serious problems that are being faced by the Samarinda City government. Waste production in Samarinda City reaches 500 tonnes/day. The programmes presented by the Department of Environment (DLH) of Samarinda City currently focus on inorganic waste management. In fact, half (50%) of the total waste production in Samarinda City comes from organic waste, especially those generated from household activities. This community service programme aims to provide education to the community, especially the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) group on how to process household organic waste so as to produce compost that can be used by the community. The method used in this composting is the Takakura method. The dedication programme for the use of household waste into compost is important to do in order to reduce household waste in the environment and change the perspective regarding waste that has no economic value. This service program has produced products in the form of compost that is dark in colour (blackish-black), fine textured and compost temperatures ranging from 300C-350C. Based on questionnaires and interviews, 75% of participants understood the material presented, 90% had a high level of satisfaction with the programme and 50% of participants stated that they were willing to apply the composting method.

EDUKASI TUBERKULOSIS (TB) KEPADA KADER PEMBERDAYAAN KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA (PKK) KELURAHAN DUREN SAWIT

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycrobacterium Tuberculosis that enters the body through inhaling the droplets, such as saliva or phlegm as the media, containing pulmonary tuberculosis of the infected person. Based on the data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2020, East Jakarta is the location with the most TB patients in the entire Jakarta with a total of 12,334 patients. As the most populous administrative city in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, East Jakarta is resided by 28.76% or around 3.04 million people out of 10.56 million people residing in the entire province. The total population in 2019 in Duren Sawit District alone reached 399,595 people with a population density per square kilometer is of 17.64, that makes the area one of the districts with a high population density in the administrative area of East Jakarta. This is what motivated us to conduct TB education counseling to the Woman of Family Welfare Empowerment Program in Duren Sawit Village. Statistical tests show an increase of knowledge of the respondent after TB education was carried out. This increase in knowledge falls into the medium category. The highest increase occurred in the question number 10 related to the role of the family in preventing TB transmission.

Model evaluasi Kirkpatrick pada Program Bina Desa: Penguatan bisnis kuliner kader Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK)

Entrepreneurs have been widely recognized as contributing greatly to improving a country's economy, including in Indonesia. In fact, currently, the segmentation of women entrepreneurs has received much attention in most governments globally. Therefore, this village development program aims to strengthen the Joint Business Group-based culinary business. The partners involved in this program are Family Welfare Empowerment cadres in South Balikpapan District. The results using the Kirkpatrick evaluation model at levels 1 and 2 show that the partners consider the training program (village development) satisfactory. Also, this training program effectively influences cooking self-efficacy and partners' entrepreneurial intentions. The evaluation of this program has important implications for strengthening the Joint Business Group-based culinary business for Family Welfare Empowerment cadres.

Role of Family Welfare Empowerment Cadre on Stunting Reduction in Ende Sub-District

Stunting is still one of the nutritional problems that occur in Indonesia, characterised by physical stunting. Children with developmental delays are more susceptible to diseases that can affect their level of intelligence. Developmental delays can be overcome by starting with pre-pregnancy preparation for adolescents, brides-to-be, followed by pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and young children. Community empowerment is a key strategy in stunting reduction programs. The role of family assistance by family planning cadres, midwives and FWE cadres is important through counselling activities, referral service facilities, social assistance facilities for families at risk of stunting and surveillance of target groups at the village level. The approach to implementing this program is made with a service Learning Program Approach System. The training method in the mini workshop used was to facilitate and educate FWE cadres about the role of the FWE Team in the process of accelerating stunting reduction in the Ende District area, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The population in this activity was 10 FWE cadres consisting of representatives of FWE cadres from all of Ende District. This activity was carried out in the office environment of the Ende District Family Planning Extension Office on 27 June 2023. It can be concluded that the support and cooperation from the FWE team is still lacking due to the lack of knowledge about the role and duties of the family welfare cadre as a family companion. Therefore, it is hoped that through deepening knowledge and empowerment motivation, the role of family welfare activist cadres will be able to collaborate and synergize with family planning extension cadres and midwives more optimally for the realization of reducing stunting rates in Ende District, more specifically in the 9 affected villages.
