ANALISIS SOSIAL EKONOMI DAN BUDAYA MASYARAKAT PESISIR KAMPUNG NELAYAN SEBRANG

The purpose of this study was to find out how the economic and cultural development of the coastal community of Kampung Nelayan Seberang. The research method used is a case study method through a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations of coastal community life and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the economy of the Masyaakat Kampung Nelayan is largely supported by the capture fisheries sector which is strongly influenced by the weather, while the number of family dependents is quite large. In addition, the absence of markets and refueling stations has disrupted mobility and trade distribution routes. From a cultural perspective, the fishing village community is multi-ethnic. The interactions that occur between residents are supported by the existence of houses that are quite close together, the similarity of livelihoods, and community ownership together. Community empowerment programs need to be carried out so that the Kampung Nelayan area is growing and prosperous.

Strategi Pemilihan Lokasi Usaha dengan Pendekatan MOORA

One of the business strategies is to determine the location of the business, as well as a determining factor and very important in getting the best results in its business. Currently, there are many business locations that can be an alternative to running a business, such as the existence of new buildings being built, and the existence of housing that can bring business closer to the market. Taking this into account, business actors must be able to consider whether the location will be strategic or not. There are several considerations that can be taken by business owners, including building area, surrounding competitors, proximity to the market, available facilities, and rental prices. By paying attention to these things, apart from making criteria for choosing alternative business locations, it will also avoid losses for business actors by determining business locations that generate maximum profits. In this study, the author uses Multi-Objective Optimization on The Base Method of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) to determine the choice of the business location and as a strategy to develop its business. The author uses 5 criteria to choose 5 alternative business locations. Based on the calculation stages in the MOORA method, an alternative business A2, located in MGT Blok H, is generated, which is the best value from all alternative locations and is chosen as a business location that will provide business continuity, and will provide benefits in running its business.

Problematika Pendirian Rumah Ibadat Umat Minoritas di Kalimantan Selatan

This article describes how problematic the construction of houses of worship for minorities is in South Kalimantan. This article is the result of field research with a qualitative approach and used observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. This finding state that the causes of conflicts over the construction of houses of worship for minorities in South Kalimantan are motivated by several factors, namely the different interpretations of regulations and regulations that are not fully representative. Another cause is socio-religious factors, namely, the majority of people reject the existence of houses of worship of other religions in their vicinity, some even have the view that approving the establishment of houses of worship of other religions is not justified in the Islamic faith, and is not an area of tolerance. Another factor is the politicization of religion in the contestation of regional head elections (Pilkada) and legislative elections (Pileg). Another cause is marriage due to a change of religion which raises suspicion among religious communities. These factors occurred in the construction of the Indonesian Bethel Church (GBI) of Pasir Mas, Banjarmasin City, and the Guan Te Temple, Persada Mas Complex, Banjar Regency.

This research aims to find the regulation regarding to the spatial utilization above a commercial building for housing and to examine ownership rights for housing built on top of the building. This research is an empirical legal research with research locations in DKI Jakarta, precisely at the Cosmo Park and The Villas. The research location was considered in DKI Jakarta because the existence of housing above commercial buildings in Indonesia was only in DKI Jakarta. The speakers in this research were the Head of Planning and Utilization of City Spaces at the department of copyright works, spatial planning, and land in DKI Jakarta province (DCKTRP), Building Supervision Staff at the DCKTRP DKI Jakarta province and the Directorate General of Spatial Planning at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / National Land Agency. The results of this research indicate that the current regulation regarding the spatial utilization above commercial buildings for housing refers to the local RTRW and RDTR whose spatial utilization allocations must be in accordance with the stipulated permits. Permits are granted in the form of location permits, space utilization permits and building construction permits in accordance with applicable local scale regulations. For the Cosmo Park and The Villas housing in DKI Jakarta, there is a mismatch between the initial IMB and the current use of the building. So the important thing that must be considered in the future construction of housing on commercial buildings is that the presentation of the IMB must be in accordance with the current construction realization. Ownership rights for housing built on top of the building, namely the property rights for flat units (strata title). Strata title refers to individual ownership of a proportionally part of a building either horizontally or vertically.

Comparison Of K-Means And Hierachical Clustering Methods Performance In System Boarding Costs Selection Recommendations

The development of technology is currently getting more advanced and growing faster, especially in the field of information technology. The existence of houses in the vicinity of public facilities is very desirable and beneficial for newcomers to a new area. One of the public facilities that usually have boarding is a university or college. Students who study at a university do not only come from within the city but also come from outside the region. However, most students from outside the region have difficulty choosing boarding or rented houses due to limited information. Limited information about the facilities and the inaccuracy of boarding houses becomes a difficulty at the beginning for those who are new students. With the advancement of information technology, it can answer the need for finding a boarding house, and will be very helpful both from the side of the owner and tenant. To solve complex problems, you can use the K-Means Clustering and Hierarchical Clustering algorithm models that are optimized with naïve Bayes. The final result of this study is that the K-Means and naïve bayes accuracy values ​​are higher with 90.82% accuracy, 90.56% precision, 90.68% recall and longer time that is 10 seconds, while for hierachical and naïve values. Bayes got 88.02% accuracy, 87.82% precision, 88.00% recall and 7.6 seconds faster time

Identifikasi Fasade Bangunan Peninggalan pada Rumah Tinggal di Kecamatan Banda Sakti Kota Lhokseumawe

Colonial architecture is an architectural style from a mixture of European architecture and through a process of adaptation to form Dutch architecture during the Indonesian era during the Dutch colonialism. This colonial architecture adapted to the local environment and climate in order to produce buildings that were suitable and comfortable to live in. The research object is the residential house in Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City. This area is a place where there are historical buildings identified as the Dutch Colonial Heritage Area. The aim of this research is to identify the existence of houses in Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City through the building facades which still have the characteristics of Dutch colonial architecture. This research method is a qualitative research method through direct observation at the research location and interviews of home owners. The research focuses on the elements of the outdoor facade that are related to the exterior of the building. The identification resulted that eight residential houses in Banda Sakti District still used the architectural features of the colonial building façade, but 2 of them had adapted to the times.

Space Utilization Change from Residential Into Commercial in Mojosongo, Surakarta

The area of Mojosongo is a Perumnas which rapidly growing new growth center in Surakarta City. Existing commercial activities have expanded to enter the residential area. The emergence of this commercial area to facilitate trade activities and services between communities requires (demand) and people who sell services (supply) that can absorb labor in urban areas so that they can contribute to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). The purpose of this study is to find out space utilization changes from residential into commercial fin Mojosongo in 2004-2019 and to know what factors influence it. The method used in this study is a quantitative and and the analytical techniques used are descriptive analysis techniques, spatial analysis and factor analysis. The subjects of this study is small-medium enterprises in the area of Mojosongo. The results of this study are 69% space utilization change from residential into commercial area in Mojosongo which is influenced by 4 factors: economic factors, the existence of housing, location, and accessibility.

Modren Patterns of Residential Units and their Impact in Deformation of the Morphoogy of the Rural Settlements in Iraq

Research work on finding out the role of the existence of houses of new pattern in changing and deforming the morphology of rural statement in the middle region in Iraq. The first stage was to explore the charachteristics of traditional house in Iraqi rural statement and find out the factors that made these charachteristics to make easy make a comparison of new houses with new pattern. A finding result shows up that deformation may occurs in architectural forms in case of the absence of specific beauty elements. To make sure of that , verbal and written quastionaires were done for selected rural statments houses owners and architecture experts who indicated the presence of big deformation in samples of houses tissue that include both traditional and new pattern together in rural statements.

Typology of Slum Management in Coastal Settlement as a Reference of Neighborhood Planning in Konawe

Handling slum area actually needs to be done not only in slum areas that are part of a metropolitan city or a large town, but it also need to be conducted in the slum areas in the middle city, small town, and coastal areas. A slum generally includes physical condition, socio-economic conditions of cultural communities who live in the settlements, and the impact of both of these conditions. Environmental coastal settlements in Konawe located in the riverside that lead to loss of quality due to environmental stress of the condition of settlement that are not habitable, can be seen from the problems that exist, namely the existence of housing that goes into river body which causes malfunction of watershed river (DAS), and that is prone to flooding. The purpose of this study is to identify slums in coastal settlements in an effort to improve the quality of structured settlements to obtain a picture of the slum in Konawe, to know the problems regarding the existence of slums and future recommendation of the slum settlement in Konawe. Normative analysis was carried out in this research together with quantitative and qualitative description, as well as methods of spatial analysis (spatial). Identification of slum areas was analyzed based on indicators and parameters issued by the Directorate General of Human Settlements. Problems in some districts in Konawe located in the coastal rivers and coastal areas, consist of drainage, disposal of waste water, waste, and the settlement which is not in accordance with the Spatial Konawe. Among those, there are settlements categorized as slums and some are recommended for refurbishment.

THE NEW URBANISM OF FISHERMEN’S VILLAGE IN BULAK SETTLEMENT SURABAYA

Based on the existing potential characteristics, Surabaya is developed to function as the nation’s center of main area C, that covering areas in the east and north of Indonesia. The nation’s target in city development are field of industry, trading, maritime, garrison and tourism. Land condition in Surabaya is not fully urban, because there are areas with rural use such as paddy field, moor, ponds and coastal forest. The rural use of land are found in west, south-west and eastern part of Surabaya. The condition shows that the activity is dual, which are urban and rural. It is related with the environment which is hilly topography at the western part of Surabaya and shore at the eastern part of Surabaya. The scope of study research is identification that is conducted in a fishermen’s settlement of Bulak, Surabaya. The identification covers physical and non physical aspects of the area. The environment and buildings’ condition,and land use are covering demography, social economic and culture condition. The research method is conducted by inventory of data, using the observation technique, interview, and documentation, moreover visual observation. The use of theory is related to the fishermen’s settlement, sense of place and new urbanism. Result of the research is a strategy concept in efforts to renewal the fisherman’s area based on physical and non physical characteristics. Consist of “ Government and community participation are needed for renewal settlement in fishing village. The guidance of local government was needed on various small business opportunities, where process is quite simple and profitable for low income people. They have to demonstrate the balance between ‘man-houses-environment’, so that the relation between them can be dynamic and sustainable. The existence of houses in fishing area need a private bathrooms with good sanitation and septic tanks, for environment preservation. They need to obtain good economic opportunities are promising for low income level. The some environments in coastal area need electricity services especially in study area .

Archaeology in Greece, 1932–1933

The American excavations in the Athenian Agora were resumed in February 1933, and continued till the middle of July. An account of the work up to May 1 has been published in AJA. 1933, 305 ff. The work is being carried on in four sectors (see AJA. pl. 35)The wells and cisterns cleared during the latter part of the summer of 1932 are described by Homer Thompson in AJA. 1933, 289 ff. These provide clear evidence of the existence of houses where all traces of walls and foundations have disappeared, notably along the north foot of the Areopagus and north-east of the Theseum, and their contents shew that the inhabitation of this area goes back at least to the early sixth century B.C. In some cases (wells closed in the late sixth and early fifth centuries) the pottery found in the wells seems to indicate the proximity of potters' workshops or warehouses, and pots have been found which had contained miltos. This is further proved for the fourth century by the presence of misfired vase-fragments and lamps. Several pieces of archaic pottery found in these wells are illustrated in the article mentioned above— notably a large one-piece amphora of the earliest class, decorated with a massive sphinx (loc. cit. fig. 3), and from the same shaft an exquisite plastic vase (loc. cit. fig. 5, here Pl XVI)—Ionian, or Ionising, work of about 540 B.C., and without question one of the finest of all existing plastic vases.
