The Inside Cover picture shows a novel hybrid that contains cobalt nitride/nitrogen-rich hollow carbon spheres (CoxN/NHCS) as a high-performance catalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). In their Full Paper J.G. Wang, D.S. Su and, co-workers show that the CoxN nanoparticles were uniformly dispersed and confined in the hollow NHCS shell, the resulting CoxN/NHCS catalyst exhibited remarkably higher ORR activity, superior stability, and excellent methanol tolerance as compared to commercial Pt/C catalysts under alkaline conditions.
