With the continuous deepening of education reform, educational achievements and experiences on an international scale are overlapping, from learning to actively demonstrating advantages or taking the lead. Through field research on general music education in vocational colleges in Taiwan, this paper summarizes the advantages and characteristics of music curriculum objectives, course materials, course contents, teaching methods and course evaluation in Taiwan, and analyzes the system model of general music education. Combining with the actual situation of general music education in vocational colleges of our country, this paper considers the criticism of general music education in vocational colleges of our country and probes into its development model, in order to promote the development of general music in vocational colleges of our country.
