Table 3 contained incorrect CVA and CVR values. The correct values, calculated as , are given in the republication of Table 3, below. Standardized estimates of inbreeding depression include correlation between inbreeding and trait (r), change of trait due to inbreeding standardized to non inbred mean (bμ) and change of trait due to inbreeding standardized to phenotypic standard deviation (bσ). See Materials and Methods for details of construction of condition index, i.e. residual body mass by reduced major axis regression. Note also that total energy budget was square root transformed prior analyses. Statistically significant results are denoted as *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 and ***P < 0.001.
