Prácticas profesionalizantes: conocer y saber psicopedagógico

We understand that the constitution process Psychopedagogy occurs from a constant dialogic relationship between theoretical conceptions and professional interventions, from which a two-dimensional disciplinary field is formed in the sense that it is simultaneously constituted as an explanatory field of the problems it addresses and practical field of intervention. We understand that the training of future psychopedagogues requires the acquisition of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and dispositions, which make up the psychopedagogical knowledge, which enables professional intervention.This document presents the training proposal from two chairs of the Bachelor's Degree in Psychopedagogy at the Catholic University of Córdoba, articulated to a University Social Responsibility program. To this end, the document has three sections. The first one explains disciplinary issues and epistemological aspects that support the curricular proposals of the chairs. In a second section, an account is given of what is understood as professionalizing practice in the training of psychopedagogues. In the last one, the curricular proposal offered is presented.

Aspek Epistemologi Inovasi dalam Manajemen Pendidikan Islam

This study examines the epistemological aspects of management innovation in the context of Islamic education. In an era of rapid technological development, Islamic educational institutions face challenges to remain relevant and effective. Innovation in educational management is key to facing this change. However, such innovation needs to be based on a strong epistemological understanding to ensure that the changes made are in line with the values ​​and goals of Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results show that the epistemological dimension plays an important role in shaping and directing Islamic educational management innovation. A deep understanding of the sources of knowledge, the process of acquiring knowledge, and the validity of knowledge in the context of Islam is the foundation for developing effective innovation strategies that are in accordance with Islamic principles. This study also offers recommendations for integrating Islamic epistemological perspectives into modern educational management practices.

A Kinematic Approach to the Classical SIR Model

Given the risk and impact of infectious-contagious X diseases, which are expected to increase in frequency and unpredictability due to climate change and anthropogenic penetration of the wilderness, it is crucial to advance descriptions and explanations that improve the understanding and applicability of current theories. An inferential approach is to find analogies with better-studied contexts from which new questions and hypotheses can be raised through their concepts, propositions, and methods. Kinematics emerges as a promising analog field in physics by interpreting states’ changes in a contagion process as a movement. Consequently, this work explores, for a contagion process, the representations and conceptual equivalents for position, displacement, velocity, momentum, and acceleration, introducing some metrics. It also discusses some epistemological aspects and proposes future perspectives.

Legal analysis of different approaches to understanding the phenomenon of miscarriage of justice in administrative proceedings

The article is devoted to the study of various approaches to understanding the phenomenon of a miscarriage of justice in administrative proceedings. The author establishes that a miscarriage of justice in administrative proceedings can be referred to in several senses. Firstly, a miscarriage of justice in administrative proceedings can be understood in a narrow sense, depending on the aspect specifically chosen (epistemological, praxeological and teleological) or their combination. The epistemological aspect of understanding a miscarriage of justice in administrative proceedings relates to the processes of mental and cognitive activity of a judge. Within this aspect, a miscarriage of justice is considered as a result of a defect in the subject matter of a judge’s cognitive actions, which may be manifested in incorrect processing or interpretation of information. The praxeological aspect of understanding a miscarriage of justice in administrative proceedings focuses on the compliance of the judge’s actions with the requirements and procedural rules set forth in the law. In this context, a miscarriage of justice is manifested as an unlawful act (action or inaction) of a judge, which consists in the judge’s incorrect application of substantive law or violation of procedural law. The teleological aspect of understanding a miscarriage of justice relates to the purposes of administrative proceedings. Under this approach, a miscarriage of justice is defined as a result that does not meet the goals of administrative proceedings. The interconnection and interdependence of the epistemological, praxeological and teleological aspects forms a comprehensive understanding, a holistic perception of this phenomenon in administrative proceedings. This integration of different perspectives makes it possible to characterize a miscarriage of justice by providing a deep and multilevel understanding of its nature. In a broad sense, a miscarriage of justice in administrative proceedings can be understood as a judge’s procedural activity related to the misperception, analysis or reproduction of legal norms, which is reflected in the adoption of a court decision that is unable to achieve the purpose of administrative proceedings.

Размышление о понятии совести: сравнительный анализ подходов в арабо-тюркской исламской философии

The concept of conscience is one of the main unsolved problems of moral philosophy. It is of great importance to reveal the discussions about this con­cept until today collectively on the philosophical level, in terms of clarifica­tion the questions related to the source of morality and moral propositions and the subjectivity or objectivity of ethical values. We can evaluate the ex­planations related to the concept of conscience in two categories as etymolo­gical and terminological. While explanations on the etymology of the con­cept are naturally based on classical dictionaries, conceptual explanations are based on classical, medieval and modern Western and Islamic moral philo­sophy texts. The main purpose of the study is to discuss the moral content of the concept of conscience in the light of Islamic philosophies compara­tively, based on the basic works related to the concept in Islamic thought. The main thesis of the study is that conscience is a deeply appealing power that has metaphysical, psychological and epistemological aspects. Conse­quently, we can define conscience as a spiritual force with cognitive, emo­tional, and voluntary aspects

E-Commerce: Theoretical and Epistemological Aspect

The radical innovations that led to the structural modernization of the world economy were affected by the development of the digital economy and its main components, among which it is essential to single out e-commerce. After all, it gradually begins to play an important role in the field of trade and the economy, primarily due to its importance and practical use of the assets of scientific and technological progress. Therefore, conducting scientific research to deepen its theoretical and epistemological foundations is timely, allowing us to comprehensively understand its essence and outline the main advantages that various subjects of the national economy receive from its spread. The article aims to clarify the main approaches to understanding the essence of the "electronic commerce" concept, which will allow us to comprehensively characterize the gains from its spread, which society receive. To achieve the goal, several general scientific and specific methods of cognition were used, including analysis and synthesis, content analysis, and systematization. During the study, it was found that the emergence of electronic commerce relates to the active use of the Internet for data transfer and exchange, the development of digital technologies. As a result of the analysis of the scientific literature, five main approaches to its understanding were identified: functional, interactive, component, structural, and static. The value of e-commerce is determined by its advantages because it can create additional impulses for the development of the economy. E-commerce faces certain risks, early consideration of which will allow for minimizing potential losses and creating additional impulses for its growth. In general, digitalization and the active involvement of ICT in economic relations fundamentally change established ways of doing business, affecting not only the increased speed and scale of trade, improved interaction between entities, and allowing companies to enter international markets using new technologies.

Metacrime and Cybercrime: Exploring the Convergence and Divergence in Digital Criminality

The advent of the metaverse has given rise to metacrime, a novel category of criminal activities occurring in the metaverse, which not only challenges conventional digital criminality but existing law enforcement frameworks. To address the scholarship vacancy, this study examines the intersections and distinctions between metacrime and conventional cybercrime by employing a multi-disciplinary literature review and comparative analysis. We identified five shared characteristics between these two crime types: crime classification, continuous evolution, hyper-spatial-temporality (global reach), anonymity, and governance challenges. Crucially, our research highlights the distinct epistemological aspects of metacrime through its criminogenic, victimogenic, etiological, ethical, and regulatory dimensions, exemplified by virtual-to-physical attacks, immersive virtual reality attacks, victimization superrealism, complexities of human-avatar interactivity, excessive misuse of biometric data, increasingly vulnerable populations, and avatars’ liability. Our findings underscore the imperative need for tailored and forward-thinking regulatory responses to address the intricate challenges of metacrime, thereby ensuring the security and integrity of evolving digital environments.

Organizational Culture in Philosophical Review: Ontology, Epistemology, and Axiology

The cultural dimension of organizational culture is the centre of all aspects of an organization's life. This research aims to describe organizational culture in philosophical terms. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Literature documents come from various books, journals and scientific works on organizational culture. This research shows that ontologically describing organizational culture is indeed proven to exist. In the epistemological aspect, it is related to knowledge, sources, characteristics, truth, and ways to show the existence of organizational culture in an organization. In the etymology aspect, organizational culture focuses on the sources scientists use in developing organizational culture and their methods. Ultimately, the axiology aspect discusses the relationship between organizational culture and values. Because it is related to values, axiology is related to whether or not organizational culture can be developed. Educational entities must pay attention to organizational culture to ensure the continued existence and success.

An Overview of Ontological, Epistemological, and Axiological Aspects of the Junior High School Concept of Pressure

Philosophy will be closely associated with the nature, principles, and laws governing all existing reality. This study examines the ontology, epistemology, and axiology aspects of the junior high school concept of pressure. The method used in this study is conducting studies from various books, journals, articles, magazines, and other scientific references related to the research topic. The data collection process in this study was divided into three stages: (1) editing, (2) organizing, and (3) finding. According to the findings of various studies, the ontological aspect of pressure explains what exactly pressure is. What does it accomplish? What kind? While the epistemological aspect of the concept of pressure is related to an explanation of the discussion related to the epistemological aspect of the idea of pressure will be studied regarding (1) the discovery of the idea of pressure, (2) the idea of pressure; (3) the laws that apply to the matter of stress. Meanwhile, the axiological aspect explains how pressure is useful and the laws that govern it in various aspects of human life. Thus, teachers should pay attention to the ontology, epistemology, and axiology aspects of the concept of pressure when teaching it in junior high school.

Vittorio Hösle on the Systematicity and Historicity of Modern Philosophy: An Attempt of a Paradigmatic Analysis of Kant's Philosophy of History

Since the current volume of “NaUKMA Research Papers in Philosophy and Religious Studies” presents the first Ukrainian translation of Vittorio Hösle’s essay “The Place of Kant’s Philosophy of History in the History of the Philosophy of History,” this article provides a comprehensive analysis of the work of its author, a contemporary German and American philosopher who is a prominent figure in the “objective idealism of intersubjectivity.” The focus is on the methodology effectively employed by Hösle in his research, which combines historical and philosophical analysis of the works of ancient and modern philosophers with a paradigmatic approach to their thinking. A paradigmatic analysis enables us to examine the topic under study from the perspective of modern philosophy. Hösle’s research is primarily characterized by conceptual and systematic interests, even when delving into the works of eminent philosophers of the past, such as Plato’s philosophy of mathematics. Hösle effectively employs this methodology in his study of Kant’s philosophy of history, revealing how the moral and normative orientation of history, as outlined by Kant, is complemented, even complicated in a certain way, by the realistic anthropology of the author of the “Critique of Pure Reason.” The article also analyzes several other works by Hösle. The analysis demonstrates how, through paradigmatic and systematic methodology, Hösle identified four phases of the development of ancient philosophy, each characterized by distinct thematic and epistemological aspects. This methodology necessitates researchers to depart from the linear-progressive approach of the history of philosophy to focus on the cyclical movement of philosophical thought. Attention is drawn to the problem of the relationship between the “Science of Logic” and real philosophy (philosophy of nature and the philosophy of spirit), as well as the presence of intersubjectivity in Hegel’s philosophy. Various Hösle’s works demonstrate his ability to analyze the classical texts and cinematic masterpieces, as well as the controversial trends of the modern world and the challenges faced by humanity in the 21st century, including Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. These challenges require new approaches in international politics and law.

WhatsApp for pedagogy: initiatives, instructional practices and the nature of knowledge in Israel’s secondary education

ABSTRACT In this study, the paradoxes and difficulties of using WhatsApp for meaningful education are highlighted. As a case study of technology implementation, the author employs virtual ethnography and interviews with supervisors, developers and teachers to examine all significant pedagogical initiatives in Israel’s high schools that utilise WhatsApp. These initiatives are analysed through the theoretical lens of sharing and its cultures of production and circulation. Sharing and circulating are fundamental epistemological aspects of knowledge in new media as they play a major part in how knowledge is created, perceived and learned. Indeed, the findings show that using WhatsApp broadens and diversifies classroom instructional practices, including shifts towards more dialogic teaching, but at the same time, traditional communicative assumptions, conservative school modalities, power structure and epistemologies are maintained. Sharing is now seen as a pedagogical practice, yet implementing WhatsApp in schools happens while its epistemological aspects are narrowed.

Epistemological aspects of participatory design studies conducted in the field of health science.

To discuss the methodological aspects of participatory design, arguing for a three-phase approach and the suitability of situating participatory design within a phenomenological-hermeneutical tradition in health science. Methodological discussion based on participatory design theory, epistemology and research studies. The epistemological and methodological discussions show how the core values and key elements of participatory design align with the phenomenological-hermeneutical approach. In addition, examples of participatory design studies are provided to illustrate how it can be conducted in health science. Participatory design is a flexible framework based on genuine participation, defined by three core values: having a say, mutual learning and democratization. The iterative processes allow for adjustments in alignment with the core values and the scientific stance that defines the choice of methods, tools and techniques. A phenomenological-hermeneutic approach in participatory design studies is relevant and aligned with the core values of participatory design. Thus, this paper argues for a close integration between the participatory design methodology and the phenomenological-hermeneutic scientific approach within health science. Participatory design is a powerful methodology with core values that can co-design sustainable health technologies with potential to impact patient care and the clinical practice of nurses. When combined with qualitative research methods, patients' lived experiences serve as the foundation for improving clinical nursing practice. Discussing the epistemological aspects of participatory design provides nurse researchers with a coherent methodological understanding, essential for the continual development of nursing research. This paper discusses the research methodology of participatory design within health sciences. It aims to address the lack of understanding of the methodology, particularly within a specific scientific stance. The main finding is the elaboration on participatory design and the relevance of a phenomenological-hermeneutical approach. The paper has the potential to impact researchers, master's and PhD students, as well as others engaged in participatory design or other methodologies related to user involvement within health science. No available EQUATOR guidelines were applicable to this methodological paper, as no new data were created or analysed. There was no direct patient or public contribution, as this is a methodological paper.

Tinjauan Filsafat Sains pada Konsep Horsepower dalam Pembelajaran Fisika

Teaching physics concepts using a philosophy of science approach is important for understanding how physical scientists develop theories. The concepts of quantities, units, and dimensions in physics, such as horsepower (hp), are fundamental to learning from school to college. However, there is still a lack of philosophical understanding of the concept of horsepower in the context of physics teaching, leading to a deficiency in this understanding. This study proposes a philosophical exploration of the concept of horsepower from the perspectives of epistemology, ontology, and axiology. The research methods used include in-depth literature studies, conceptual analysis, and case studies related to the implications of horsepower in automotive industrial engineering. The results demonstrate that the concept of horsepower can be examined from various philosophical perspectives, including aspects of epistemology in its development, ontology in understanding its existence, and axiology in considering the values associated with its use. This philosophical exploration not only enhances the understanding of physics concepts but also encourages deeper reflection on the relationship between humans, technology, and nature

Mario Ageno and the status of biophysics

This essay focuses on Mario Ageno (1915–1992), initially director of the physics laboratory of the Italian National Institute of Health and later professor of biophysics at Sapienza University of Rome. A physicist by training, Ageno became interested in explaining the special characteristics of living organisms origin of life by means of quantum mechanics after reading a book by Schrödinger, who argued that quantum mechanics was consistent with life but that new physical principles must be found. Ageno turned Schrödinger’s view into a long-term research project. He aimed to translate Schrödinger’s ideas into an experimental programme by building a physical model for at least a very simple living organism. The model should explain the transition from the non-living to the living. His research, however, did not lead to the expected results, and in the 1980s and the 1990s he focused on its epistemological aspect, thinking over the tension between the lawlike structure of physics and the historical nature of biology. His reflections led him to focus on the nature of the theory of evolution and its broader scientific meaning.

Students’ dynamic communication while transforming mathematical representations in a dynamic geometry environment

In mathematics, students’ abilities to make transformations between mathematical representations are fundamental. The recent implementation of digital technologies, such as Dynamic Geometry Environments (DGEs), have changed students’ access to mathematical representations by providing a variety of different representations, available just by pressing a button. Students use of a DGE may change their mathematical communication to become more dynamic and active. However, it is not clear how the use of DGEs and the change in communication style relate to more epistemological aspects of students’ mathematical work. This study, therefore, investigates the interplay between students’ dynamic mathematical communication and their transformations of mathematical representations when using a DGE from a competency perspective. Based on analyses of instances of lower secondary school students’ dynamic mathematical communication, findings indicate that students’ mathematical communication reflect the new ways of engaging with mathematical representations when using a DGE. Hence, the communication becomes dynamic. Theoretically, the complexity of having “continuous” transformations of mathematical representations may reduce the readiness of the mathematical communication competency. The “continuous” transformation may in fact cause students to unintentionally ascribe dynamic properties to mathematical representation.

Elementos de epistemología para el estudio de la solidaridad

The article proposes to discuss the theme of solidarity by relating it to changes in society, therefore, an overview will be offered of the dynamics and challenges - in relation to solidarity - that evolve due to the continuous changes in society, in a repeating circle. The idea is, therefore, to constitute a reflection on solidarity, using a metatheoretical approach suitable for so-called second-order studies such as the one presented here. The article develops from the problematisation of the definition of this concept, from a brief history of the idea of solidarity to arrive at epistemological aspects for the study of solidarity, which, beyond the individual declinations of it, allows us to explore the processes that take place on different levels (individual, social and cultural) for individuals whenever they interact with other individuals or with structures of society. The results arrived at by this theoretical study highlight the need to take into account the following changes occurring in society (a) the modification of risk maps that leads to the demand for new interventions to meet the renewed system of needs; (b) the emergence of the relationality dimension as an area of social distress; (c) the relativisation of knowledge that is often challenged by the information provided by the mass media; and, finally, (d) the non-linear development of social dynamics and technological transformations, which make it mandatory to update, innovate and modify knowledge to face the continuous challenges of society.

Дуализм истины и заблуждения в контексте онто-гносеологического анализа

The aim of the present article is to investigate the most significant epistemological aspects of the concepts of truth and delusion. In this regard, particular attention is paid to comparing these concepts and analyzing them from the point of view of the principles of relativity and scientific realism. The study includes the identification of specific aspects of the interpretation of the fundamental characteristics of the concept of truth, such as absoluteness and relativity. Emphasis is placed on applying the status of relativity to both the concept of truth and the concept of delusion. The study was conducted using an activity-based approach in understanding scientific cognition, the method of dialectical complementarity, as well as etymological and formal logical analysis of terms. The principles of scientific realism and, partly, hypothetical realism are used as general methodological guidelines. The key concepts of the study are determined on the basis of the scientific and philosophical principle of relativity. The scientific and philosophical novelty of the work is the interpretation of the problem described in the text as correlated with classes of those problems that, in principle, do not have a generalized system of exact solutions in the theory of knowledge, but at the same time manifest themselves as requiring an integrated approach and denoting a multiplicity of study contexts.

Epistemological problems in fact-checking practice: evidence from Indonesia

ABSTRACT The practice of fact-checking by journalists and fact-checking practitioners has become increasingly popular due to political events occurring alongside increasing disinformation. This practice has spread from the United States to Europe, Latin America and, Asia, including in Indonesia. However, the growth of fact-checking institutions has not been accompanied by discussions about their underlying epistemology. This study builds upon critical points raised by Uscinski & Butler (2013) regarding the epistemology of fact-checking, namely the impact of selection and unclear fact-checking criteria. We employ content analysis of publicly available fact-checking articles published by seven existing Indonesian fact-checking organizations. The patterns identified in the content analysis serve as the foundation for the interpretation of the epistemological underpinnings of fact-checking practices. This analysis is further complemented by interviews with informants from all seven organizations. This study also compares the epistemological foundations of journalism-based fact-checking with Civil Society Organization (CSO)-based fact-checking in Indonesia. We found an epistemological dilemma within Indonesian fact-checking, leading to the arbitrary nature of the fact-selection process, thereby posing a potential risk of introducing bias into the fact-checking outcomes. Our hope is that this study will be useful for fact-checking practitioners and media educators to discuss the epistemological aspects of fact-checking practices.
