Despite Contradictions, Artificial Intelligence and Block Chain Technology are Composing the Future Together

Now times, Block Chain technology and enhancements in Artificial Intelligence paradigm are facing more attention in the field of research with new advancements in many security techniques in all the sectors of IT and business. One cannot deny from the fact that the adoption of Artificial Intelligence paradigms and block-chain technology is shaping the new face of market. Beyond their contradictions both are proceeding at lightning speed. Both of them are aimed at providing something new to the world but the degree of complexity of each is quite different. With a secure, decentralized, and trustworthy system, block-chain technology did automate the bit-coin payments and provide the users an access to a shared ledger of records, transactions and data. With the useof smart contracts, a block-chain can also regulate the user interactions without the need for any central authority. In the contradiction, AI provides agents with the ability of reasoning, decision making and human-level intellect. At bottom one can say, block chain is concerned with keeping correct records, authentication and implementation while AI deals in conducting assessments, examining, and coming to a decision analyzing certain patterns and datasets, eventually giving rise to a self- directed interaction. Artificial Intelligence along with block chain allocates several descriptions which will make a seamless communication prospect certainly. AI and Block-Chain need sharing of data. The decentralized approach of database focuses on the significance of data sharing among various clients on a meticulous network. In the same way, AI depends very much on Big-Data, exclusively, for data distribution. The first section in the proposed article offers the Introduction part. The second section focuses on the majorly emphasized topics and domains about block chain technology indulging Artificial Intelligence into it, presents a detailed literature-review of many of the contributions by eminent research analysts. The third section describes the challenges in the collaborating AI with block-chain. The last section expresses a brief conclusion of the research work. Blue Ocean Strategy: Thesis and Antithesis

The purpose of this paper is to explore the overarching theme of blue ocean strategy thesis and its determinants, alongside the arguments building the antithesis of blue ocean strategy and its determining factors. The approach included reviewing the empirical and seminal literature inclusive of books on blue ocean strategy and articles published by eminent scholars and researchers. The paper presents in detail the theme encompassed by blue ocean strategy, elaborates the theoretical perspectives and highlights its components inclusive of description of frameworks and analytical tools. Porter’s theoretical perspective on strategy was incorporated in the discussion to build the arguments for antithesis and conclusions are accordingly drawn. This paper is meant to provide some diverse perspectives on Strategy, the related description of frameworks and analytical tools for the constituencies of academia, practitioners and policy makers. This review study may advance knowledge in the domain of understanding Strategy, its two contrasting theories along with linked determinants and constructs from different lenses, relevant for academia, practitioners, and policy makers.

PERSPECTIVES OF RESEARCHING MUSICAL PHENOMENA WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF QUALITATIVE METHODOLOGY

Qualitative methodology as a relatively new methodological paradigm seeks to skillfully construct some more complex methodological approaches, within which researchers from various scientific fields are prolific. These include ethnomusicologists, whose ethodological aspirations were often inspired by musical phenomena that have been most often explored within ethnographic fields. Already established and standardized research methods (of the qualitative type) are used, such as content analyzes, interviews, then eminent research strategies such as case studies, etc. On the example of a realized and published monographic study on Nikola Buble, a well-known Croatian ethnomusicologist, the authors present an authentic analytical model (within the cultural and anthropological authorial approach) constructed in the function of researching more complex musical phenomena, but mostly in the contexts of ethnomusicological or broader unique monographic material (which contains numerous heterogeneous data from a number of different types of archives, documentations, newspapers, personalized diaries written, audio, visual and similar specific types). It is the qualitative methodology that critically and pluralistically considers research phenomena, and enables ethnomusicologists to more successfully integrate those interdisciplinary moments that are affirmed in various biographical, historical and similar studies, as well as numerous other cultural dimensions by which musical phenomena can be more adequately understand and interpreted, and thanks to which scientific knowledge about musical phenomena can be enriched. Bibliometric Trends and Insights into the Potential of Maize (Zea mays) under the Framework of Conservation Agriculture

In spite of the detrimental effects of climate change and decreasing resource efficiency, maize farming is essential to the world’s food and nutritional security. With regard to sustainable maize farming in this environment, conservation agriculture (CA) offers a framework that holds promise in terms of low soil disturbance, perennial soil cover, and sustainable crop rotation. In order to acquire more profound information on the research advancements and publication patterns related to maize under CA scenarios, a bibliometric analysis was conducted. This involved utilizing René Descartes’s Discourse Framework to extract and screen 2587 documents spanning the years 2001 to 2023 from the Dimensions.ai database. The mapping showed that different stakeholders were becoming more interested in maize research under various CA pathways, with a greater emphasis on reaching the second sustainable development target, or “zero hunger”. The most influential journals were “Soil and Tillage Research” and “Field Crops Research”, with 131 and 85 papers with 6861 and 6186 citations, respectively. The performance analysis found “Christian L. Thierfelder” and “Mangi Lal Jat” as the eminent researchers in the areas of maize research under CA. Thus, the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) and the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) were identified as the important institutions in conducting research pertaining to maize under CA systems, while the United States, India, and Mexico emerged as prominent countries with notable collaboration efforts for imparting research under the given scenarios. Three thematic clusters delineating keywords from three distinct sections—key drivers, objectives, and methodology—were identified through co-word analysis using word clouds, tree maps, and thematic networking of the keywords from the abstract and titles of screened publications. These thematic clusters highlighted the growing emphasis on region-specific studies under CA, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa and the Indo-Gangetic plain, to enhance the resilience of the agri-food system. Therefore, mapping maize’s potentialities within the CA framework has revealed the field’s dynamic nature and offers insightful information to researchers and policymakers that could help them plan future studies and cooperative initiatives aimed at boosting the productivity and sustainability of maize-based systems under the CA framework.

First-principles study of Na adsorption and diffusion over substitutionally doped antimonene

The storage of the colossal amount of energy is the eminent research area for the era of eternal need of energy. Sodium-ion (Na-ion) battery emerged as an appropriate alternative to fulfil this. Here, we investigate the functionalities of doped antimonene monolayer (with Ge, Se, Sn and Te atom) as an anode material for Na-ion battery using First-principles Density Functional Theory (DFT) approach. The adsorption and diffusion of Na over the substitutionally doped antimonene is well supported thermodynamically with an adsorption energy of range −2.3 eV to −2.8 eV and minimum activation energy of range 0.1 eV to –0.8 eV. The conductivity of doped antimonene increases with the number of Na atoms adsorbed over it as seen by bandstructure, density of states (DOS) and electron difference density (EDD) plots. Inhomogeneities and structural disturbances were absent during adsorption and diffusion indicating a robust electrode material. The outcomes predict that the doped antimonene monolayer can be a potential candidate for Na-ion battery anode material application.

From Powder to Pouch Cell: Setting up a Sodium‐Ion Battery Reference System Based on Na3V2(PO4)3/C and Hard Carbon

At the research level, novel active materials for batteries are synthesised on a small scale, fabricated into electrodes and electrochemically characterised using each group’s established process due to the lack of standards. Recently, eminent researchers have criticised the implementation of e.g. low active material contents/electrode loadings, the use of research‐type battery cell constructions, or the lack of statistically relevant data, resulting in overstated data and thus giving misleading predictions of the key performance indicators of new battery technologies. Here, we report on the establishment of a reference system for the development of sodium‐ion batteries. Electrodes are fabricated under relevant conditions using 9.5 mg/cm² self‐synthesised Na3V2(PO4)3/C cathode active material and 3.6 mg/cm² commercially available hard carbon anode active material. It is found that different types of battery cells are more or less suitable for half‐ and/ or full‐cell testing, resulting in ir/reproducible or underestimated active material capacities. Furthermore, the influence of electrode overhang, which is relevant for upscaling, is evaluated. The demonstrator cell (TRL 4‐5) has been further characterised providing measured data on the power/energy density and thermal behaviour during rate testing up to 15 C and projections are made for its practical limits.

Design and optimization of a domestic solar dryer: an analytical approach

PurposeFood loss and wastage is an issue of global concern and the household sector is one of the biggest contributors to this. Solar drying has been explored by many eminent researchers as a solution to this problem but there have been concerns about the lack in designs, higher cost, lower performance, and consumer acceptability. The present research aims to design a small-scale domestic solar dryer by using computer software.Design/methodology/approachResponse surface methodology (RSM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) are used to design the domestic solar dryer. Initially, design variables (inlet and outlet vent height) are identified and a design of experiments has been created using RSM for set of experimental runs. The experimental runs suggested by RSM were carried out using CFD simulation in COMSOL Multiphysics software and the results were used for optimization of response variables (outlet velocity and drying chamber temperature) in RSM.FindingsOutlet vent height was found to be most significantly affecting parameter to both the responses. The optimum values of inlet and outlet vent heights were 0.5 and 2.5 cm, respectively with the overall desirability of 0.728. The model accuracy was tested by conducting a confirmation test as post processing in design expert software.Originality/valueDesigning a solar dryer is a complex, costly and time consuming process, this study presents an easy, economic and fast method to design a new solar dryer. It would help researchers to design and develop new domestic as well as large size industrial solar dryer.

Scientific Study of Islam for Its Understanding and Dialogue of Cultures

Heightened interest in modern Islam, its philosophy, and its culture is substantiated by the complex transformations in Islamic countries and Muslim regions of post-Soviet Russia. Some countries see a rise in the political role of Islam: religion has become a driver of international politics, and adaptation of the Muslim world to the global transformational processes of the century is still on the agenda. Some argue that the scholarly study of religion is ineffective for solving global issues. Muslim scholars take a dim view of non-Muslims attempting to study Islam. Russian academic approach lies in between Western and Muslim religious sciences; thus, new Russian works on Islam not only promote religious studies but also strengthen Russia as an international actor. Doctor of Philosophy, professor Taufik Ibragim is one of the eminent researchers of Islam. In 2009, he was a co-author of the biography of Muhammad. In 2015, he published a much-talked-about work on religious pluralism in the Quran. T. Ibragim’s works conflate encyclopedic knowledge and academic scrutiny with clarity and are of interest to both specialist audiences and general readers. In 2022, he published the book Names of God according to Islam, in which he attempted to translate Muslim concepts into the language of another monotheistic religion. The nature of God—personal and/ or impersonal—is subject to heated discussions, and T. Ibragim gives his interpretations of Quranic verses. The introduction presents an overview of the characteristics of God in the Quran and also gives the first comprehensive index of the names of God. The methodology, systematization, structure, and content of the book make it significant for Russian Islamic and Oriental studies. It will be helpful for theologists, Arabic and Islam scholars, as well as students. T. Ibragim’s works shed light on one of the most numerous and dynamic world religions and let everyone look into the hidden treasures of Islamic tradition.

Sustainable Supply Chain Management in the Oil and Gas Industry in Developing Countries as a Part of the Quadruple Helix Concept: A Systematic Literature Review

Sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) has become a hot topic on which eminent researchers are working on a daily basis. A lack of clarity in the fundamental differences between SSCM and green supply chain management (GSCM) is being observed in this field of research. However, it is regrettable to note that there is a huge deficit of research in the oil and gas (OG) industry, mainly in developing countries (DCs), where this sector of activity is the most lucrative and polluting. The purpose of this research is to present the practices of SSCM in the framework of the quadruple helix approach in the oil and gas industry in specific geographical areas of developing countries by conducting a systematic literature review (SLR) of papers published from 2012 to 2024 focused on both the OG industry and DCs. As part of this study’s findings, the authors highlight the distinction between SSCM and GSCM by building a conceptual framework that applies the triple bottom line of SSCM to the OG industry and demonstrates that GSCM, which is more related to environmental issues, is a part of SSCM. Therefore, in order to be more efficient and to have a great impact on their performances, OG companies in DCs should apply SSCM practices, which are close to circular business rather than GSCM practices, especially because their implementation can be influenced by certain barriers and pressures that involve the use of the QHC.

“Rus', You are but a Kiss in the Cold!” (1921) by V. Khlebnikov: Text as a Combinatory Model / Dynamic Construction

The paper is devoted to analysis of the poem by Velimir Khlebnikov “Rus', you are but a kiss in the frost!” (1921) as part of a study of transformation of the sonnet genre in the poet’s verses. Velimir Khlebnikov elaborates his version of a lyrical story of ‘a kiss in the frost’, originating from the poem by Alexander Pushkin “Winter. What do we do in the village?…” (1829). The love scene is represented as a natural phenomenon, embedded not only in the winter landscape but also in the Universe. There are no persons in the Nature’s integrity, and the couple of lovers are designated only by demonstrative pronouns. The tension of feelings (“the lightning kiss”) is but one of the manifestations of the Elements. The phenomenon of a lightning as a “potentially energy-embracing symbol” has a conceptual character in Khlebnikov’s perception of the world, is both the “primordial image” of the world and the principle of universal unity, which has already been noted by the eminent researchers’ of Khlebnikov’s works. From the formal viewpoint, the text is a special variant of structural deformity and overcoming it, which is directly related to the idea of accumulation of energy, explosion, and return to tranquility. The poem is characterized by increased expression of the arrangement of its sounds; alliteration of the occlusive, fricative, and sonorant sounds, their combinations, and paronymic attraction create the effect of a special energy of sound-making. The rhythmic arrangement of the text “deceives” the reader’s expectations: fast shifts and transitions from one meter to another (polymetry in the first stanza), occasional caesuras in the first, fourth, and ninth verses, an enjambement in the seventh and eighth verses: breakage of the seventh verse, when the verb “would [swiftly] outline” starts a line, visualizing the movement of a lightning. Structural deformities are settled in the final — the last verse is written in a classical iambic tetrameter. Graphically, the lyrical text is a combinatory dynamic model which may vary in terms of strophic division, the “headless” sonnet, preserving the characteristics of the Italian sonnet, dominates. The mechanism of cohesion is ensured by all the levels of the artistic whole, and the genre of the sonnet is a harmonizing form, balancing the structural instability of the text.

Research methods and early additional language learning: ethics, agency and study design

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to investigate the opinions, attitudes and experiences of early additional language learning researchers, in order to uncover whether research about children or research with children is the kind of research which is currently prevalent in the international academic community and the reasons for such state of affairs. More specifically, we explored the data collection methods and instruments used by researchers worldwide and the rationale behind their decisions, the most frequent levels of child involvement in research, and research methods which promote the highest level of active participation. Finally, we recorded ethical issues the participants deemed important when studying children’s beliefs and reflections on their language learning processes and their language proficiency. This was not done, as it is common, by analysing the published papers in the field, but rather by reaching out to the researchers themselves. An online questionnaire was used, and the responses were collected from 61 eminent researchers in the field, from 27 countries worldwide. The main results showed that research about children is still prevalent in the early additional language learning academic community but that the attitude towards research with children is largely positive, with many leaning in that direction.

A survey on preprocessing and classification techniques for acoustic scene

There are lots of research papers for ASC, and in recent years it is rapidly increasing. DCASE also provides different types of competition for the submission of several papers to solve the various tasks of ASC and it is the opportunity for the research scholars either to participate in those competitions or to provide the enhanced model for ASC. This paper provides details about the various recent approaches along with the block diagram used for pre-processing required before model development for ASC. It also includes a description of different recent techniques used for the classification of different sounds for ASC tasks. The comparative analysis for different recent available techniques both for pre-processing and classification has been done and summarized in this paper. It also describes the contributions towards the survey on ASC by comparing this paper with some existing survey papers based on several parameters like functionality described separately, results from description with quantifiable value, a dataset with proper quantifiable analysis, and pictorial representation of model discussed, etc. Finally, considering the benefits for eminent research scholars, this paper has also focused on the details for future directions for both pre-processing and classification for ASC.

Lab-on-a-chip – The advent of instantaneous diagnosis for a plethora of diseases

A lab-on-a-chip (LOC) is a device that facilitates the incorporation of a concatenation of various laboratory functions on a unique integrated circuit. The size of this instrument is merely a few millimeters to centimeters designed to attain automation and high-throughput screening. Microfluidic systems used in LOC devices allow the manufacture of millions of microchannels, each measuring mere micrometers. These microchannels enable control of fluids in infinitesimal quantities for a variety of diagnoses. Several labs on a chip have been commercialized in recent times for fundamental procedures, including glucose monitoring, human immunodeficiency virus, early tumor detection, and cardiac diagnostics. The LOC integrates microfluidics, nanosensors, micro-electrics, and biochemistry on one device. The advantages of the chip include its sustainability and cutback wastage. It expedites a decline in reagent costs and requires minimal sample volumes. The analysis and response are faster and the response is better controlled by equipping micro-channels. Countries with exiguous healthcare are in the face of adversity due to increased fatality rates from infectious diseases that are often curable in developed nations. In certain circumstances, impoverished healthcare clinics have the medications requisite to treat a specific condition but are in dearth of the diagnostic equipment needed to determine, in which individuals are in need of the medications. This is where the role of LOC as a potent novel diagnostic instrument would benefit humankind in the nearest future, according to eminent researchers. This article highlights the applications of LOC in a miscellany of fields, its advantages, feasible means to overcome the drawbacks, and the propitious prospects of this technology.

As we commemorate 50 years of its continuing success, we use this opportunity to recall and summarize our past: the achievements, milestones reached, and evolving themes. It is also a time to reflect on the challenges that we face today and on how we can better contribute and innovate into the future in terms of advanced manufacturing.

As we commemorate 50 years of its continuing success, we use this opportunity to recall and summarize our past: the achievements, milestones reached, and evolving themes. It is also a time to reflect on the challenges that we face today and on how we can better contribute and innovate into the future in terms of advanced manufacturing.

Feasibility analysis of solar PV system in presence of EV charging with transactive energy management for a community-based residential system

In this world, with enhancing environmental issues of greenhouses and fossil fuels-based systems in societies and assumptions of sustainable solutions includes Renewable Energy Technologies (RET) and Electric Vehicles (EV) are increased in the residential and commercial buildings. Moreover, Renewable Energy Resources (RES) have an exceptional milestone towards the world to supply energy from the energy market to the consumers without any scarcity and the EV charging facilities among the residential building is the most eminent research domain in the developing countries. This paper investigates the feasibility of solar energy for around 320 buildings include residential load with EV charging is considered for the selected location Vistara Residential Enclave at Madurai. Additionally, the optimal solution is performed using HOMER software for the proposed solar Photo Voltaic (PV), Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), grid extension, V2H process for increase the efficient energy management. Instead of, three scenarios are considered for analyse the technical, economic and environmental basis. Moreover, in the first one, off-grid/battery support system for only residential load using solar energy. Then, the second scenario is evaluated with on-grid/battery backup system by solar PV for household loads only. Finally, in the third scenario, on-grid/battery system for residential load as well as EV charging with considered V2H performance. Meanwhile, the multiple houses are confined to a residential site in the consideration of overall load system as well as divided into five zones. Moreover, the following these three scenarios cost and electrical parameters are predicted as with and without Transactive Energy Management System (TEMS) to overcome the peak load challenges. Therefore, the consequences of this study proposed that 36.90 % of Net Present Cost (NPC) is maximized and 51.87 % reduced Operating and Maintenance cost (O&M) between presence and absence of TEMS shows that overall system load with TEMS towards the localized grid is the best effective reliable system in an effective manner than five divided zones without TEMS.

Comparative study of end correction models in case of extended tube expansion chamber muffler

Extended tube expansion chamber muffler is a modified version of the simple expansion chamber muffler, used to get better muffling of noise. End correction applied to the length of expansion chamber may give precise value of transmission loss. Number of end correction models are put forth by eminent researchers for predicting the behaviour of mufflers. A comparative study of these models is done in this paper for lab grade mufflers using simulation, as it being a powerful technique for analyzing muffler parameters. The response of three mufflers having different areas of cross section is investigated for transmission loss using MATLAB as a simulation tool and compared with and without end correction. The necessity of consideration of end correction factor and the importance of simulation tool as method for non-destructive testing are underlined by the results.
