Implementasi Model Project Based Learning terhadap Hasil Belajar pada Mata Pelajaran Produk Kreatif dan Kewirausahaan (PKK) pada Kelas XI Jurusan Teknik Pemesinan di SMK Negeri 2 Dumai

Vocational education is designed to develop skills, abilities, understanding, teamwork attitudes and an appreciation that includes the knowledge and information needed by a worker to enter and make progress in a useful and productive job. Factors that support the creation of quality graduates are found in the subjects of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship. This study aims to analyze the Implementation of the Project Based Learning Model on Learning Outcomes in Creative Products and Entrepreneurship (PKK) Subjects in Class XI of the Machining Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Dumai. This research is a class action research (PTK) or often also called classroom action research. This Jhon Elliot model classroom action research consists of pre-cycle, first cycle and second cycle to achieve the desired results. This study uses an instrument in the form of an assessment rubric that is used to see student learning outcomes in creative product and entrepreneurship subjects with the application of project-based learning models referring to the results of projects made by students. Based on the results of research and discussion, class action research on the subject of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship in class XI Machining Engineering SMK N 2 Dumai can be concluded as follows. 1) Efforts to improve learning outcomes using project-based learning models in class XI TP in the subject of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship have been successfully implemented and are able to improve student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 2 Dumai. 2) With the project-based learning model, teachers have other choices in determining learning models so that it can be a solution in improving student learning outcomes.

Improving Children's Literacy Development Through Puppet Letter Media in Group B

The purpose of this study was to determine whether through the media puppet letters can improve children's literacy development in Group B at PAUD IKI PTPN 07 Seluma Regency. Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is focused on the classroom situation, or commonly known as classroom action research, the procedure used is in the form of a cycle. The main subject in this study was group B children totaling 15 children at PAUD IKI PTPN 07 Seluma Regency. This Classroom Action Research uses the Jhon Elliot model where each cycle consists of four main activities, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection carried out through two cycles, namely cycle I and II. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitative-quantitative with the emphasis used to determine the improvement of the process expressed in a predicate, while quantitative data analysis was used to determine the improvement of results using percentages. The results of improving children's literacy development through letter puppet media in Group B at PAUD IKI PTPN 07 Seluma Regency in cycle I meeting I amounted to 56% and meeting II amounted to 75%. In cycle II meeting I found an increase of 90%. The conclusion of the research is that through letter puppet media, the development of children's literacy in Group B at PAUD IKI PTPN 07 Seluma Regency is improved. Evidently in cycle II there was a significant increase, the percentage of achievement was 90% with very good developing criteria (BSB).

Upaya Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe The Power of Two pada Pembelajaran Tematik Kelas VI MIN 7 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning outcomes by applying the cooperative learning model of the Power of Two type to thematic learning in class VI MIN 7 Bandar Lampung. This classroom action research uses a research method with the Jhon Elliot model with the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class VI Al Muiz MIN 7 Bandar Lampung which involved 23 students. The object of research is the results of student learning by applying the cooperative learning model of the Power of Two type. The data was collected using tests and observations. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques and qualitative data. The results of the study by applying the power of two cooperative learning model in class VI Al Muiz showed that it could improve student learning outcomes. In cycle I, it can be seen from the average test results according to the KKM (75), cycle I increased to 17 students (73.91%) who completed with an average value of 80, and cycle II increased again to 21 students. (91.3%) who completed with an average value of 86.5. From the overall percentage of cycle I and cycle II, student learning outcomes increased.

Perubahan perilaku belajar melalui penggunaan media komik Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Education is a facility in improving the ability to meet various needs. Education in Indonesia has formal, informal, and non-formal education. The research conducted focused on formal education, namely elementary school education. Basic education is the basis of education that is the foundation for students in pursuing higher formal education. Students at the elementary school education level are the stages of child development who still need concrete objects or at the concrete operational stage. This stage is more about learning that uses concrete or real objects, so that students will get meaningful learning. Learning at the concrete operational stage requires a medium that facilitates learners in learning, especially in the use of image-space or visual-spatial intelligence. This intelligence can be built through learning that uses pictorial media and has meaning. If the media used is not suitable, there will be problems or problems planned. The research conducted will determine changes in behavior when learning to use comics at SDN Nagrog, Bandung Regency.. The research method carried out is to use the Class Action Research (PTK) method with the Elliot model which has several implementation cycles. The resulting research results are that there are changes in the level of student practice seen from the learning outcomes of cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. Each stage has an improved level of learning outcomes, and conducive and active classroom conditions. Therefore, the regular use of comics on materials in elementary grades is very effective in changing the behavior of learners, so learning outcomes will improve.

IMPLEMENTASI MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SD

Learning in elementary schools should be an interesting learning and can improve student learning outcomes. But in fact what happens is student learning outcomes are still low. This also happened to third grade students at an elementary school in Jepara Regency. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in third grade elementary schools through learning with interactive multimedia based on local wisdom. This research is a classroom action research using the Elliot model which consists of three cycles, each cycle consisting of three actions. Data collection techniques used were tests, observations, field notes, interviews and documentation. The results showed that student learning outcomes had increased, the average value in cycle I is 50.11, cycle II is 70.18, and cycle III is 80.76. Thus learning with interactive multimedia based on local wisdom can improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Prediction of Packet Loss Rate in Non-Stationary Networks Based on Time-Varying Autoregressive Sequences

Currently, most of the existing link parameter prediction schemes assume that the link state remains constant during the measurement period, making it difficult to capture their time-varying characteristics. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a prediction problem for packet loss rate in a non-stationary network environment. The measurement period is divided into several adjacent time windows, and the packet loss rates measured passively in each time window are regarded as non-stationary time sequences for real-time tracking to obtain the changes in link packet loss rate at a small cost. By analyzing time-varying autoregressive (TVAR) sequences, a scheme for estimating the time-varying coefficient was presented. In addition, a prediction scheme for the packet loss rate in a non-stationary network was proposed based on TVAR sequences. Finally, this paper conducts experiments based on a non-stationary network simulation environment established by the improved Gilbert–Elliot model and a small wireless multi-hop network experiment platform built in reality. Simulation and experimental results show that the prediction scheme of the packet loss rate based on the TVAR sequence can accurately predict the packet loss rate.

Improving Motoric Skills Through Activities to Stick Patterned Buttons Aged 5-6 years at Ra-arrosyad prambon

This study discusses the application of patterned buttons to improve fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Arrosyad Prambon. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Arrosyad Prambon. This research was conducted using classroom action research methods. The research design used is the design by John Elliot's Model, which includes four plots of action planning, action implementation, observation or observation, and action reflection. The research subjects were 12 children. The research data consisted of primary and secondary. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. This study shows an increase in children's fine motor skills. This is evidenced by the implementation through three cycles. The results in the pre-cycle 35.42% then in the first cycle to 56.25% in the second cycle 88.5%. The results obtained in each cycle increased through the activity of attaching patterned buttons. The implication of this research is that the learning process involves sticking patterned buttons as an alternative for improving the quality of learning

ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS DAN KEAKTIFAN SISWA SMA DENGAN PENDEKATAN PROBLEM POSING

The background of this research problem, starting from the still low ability of mathematical communication and the activity of high school students. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of mathematical communication ability and activity of class X students of SMA Muhamadiyah 1 Cimahi. Design Research conducted a classroom study using John Elliot's model. The research flow has two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, execution, observation and reflection. The result of this research is that there is improvement of mathematical communication ability and activeness by applying problem posing approach on learning mathematics about SPLTV in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Cimahi class X, for the improvement of mathematical communication ability viewed based on percentage of students whose value is below KKM, equal to KKM, and above the KKM sequentially respectively by 9.68%, 54.84%, and 96.77%. To increase student activeness can be seen based on percentage of students who have active active value and very active in cycle I and cycle II, respectively equal to 35,48% and 93,54%.

VQProtect: Lightweight Visual Quality Protection for Error-Prone Selectively Encrypted Video Streaming.

Mobile multimedia communication requires considerable resources such as bandwidth and efficiency to support Quality-of-Service (QoS) and user Quality-of-Experience (QoE). To increase the available bandwidth, 5G network designers have incorporated Cognitive Radio (CR), which can adjust communication parameters according to the needs of an application. The transmission errors occur in wireless networks, which, without remedial action, will result in degraded video quality. Secure transmission is also a challenge for such channels. Therefore, this paper’s innovative scheme “VQProtect” focuses on the visual quality protection of compressed videos by detecting and correcting channel errors while at the same time maintaining video end-to-end confidentiality so that the content remains unwatchable. For the purpose, a two-round secure process is implemented on selected syntax elements of the compressed H.264/AVC bitstreams. To uphold the visual quality of data affected by channel errors, a computationally efficient Forward Error Correction (FEC) method using Random Linear Block coding (with complexity of ) is implemented to correct the erroneous data bits, effectively eliminating the need for retransmission. Errors affecting an average of 7–10% of the video data bits were simulated with the Gilbert–Elliot model when experimental results demonstrated that 90% of the resulting channel errors were observed to be recoverable by correctly inferring the values of erroneous bits. The proposed solution’s effectiveness over selectively encrypted and error-prone video has been validated through a range of Video Quality Assessment (VQA) metrics.

Effect of Lithium Iodide on transport phenomenon in Lithium Borophosphate glass Electrolyte

Ion transport study for the lithium iodide doped Lithium Borophosphate (LBP) glass electrolyte x(LiI):[(100−x).(60Li2O:8B2O3:32P2O5)] has been carried out over a range of composition (x=0 to 25 wt.%). The electrical conductivity has been measured by complex impedance spectroscopy from 303 K to 423 K temperature. The physical parameter and conductivity study indicate to obey the Arrhenius relationship and the frequency dependent conductivity is in consonance with Jonscher's universal power law. The Correlated Barrier Hopping (CBH) model for ion transport is observed to follow in the present glass system. Further investigation of the conductivity has also been carried out to calculate the hopping frequency (ωp), relaxation time (τ), power-law exponent (n) and decoupling index (Rτ). The enthalpy for migration and free energy have been estimated using the frequency-dependent power-law exponent (n) behaviour. Charge dynamics between local states due to the activated hopping process has been discussed according to Anderson- Drago and Elliot's model. To reinforce the Lithium ion transport study, several physical parameters such as density (ρ), molar volume (VO), oxygen packing density (OPD), cation concentration (NLi), the mean distance between cations (R′LiI) and the total number of energy states per unit volume at Fermi level N(Ef) have been calculated using various empirical formulae to discuss the present LBP ionic glass system.

The Online English Extensive Reading Activities Using Google Classroom in Pandemic Covid-19

Abstract. The study purpose was to increase English extensive reading activities using google classroom in online learning process, especially in pandemic Covid-19 situation. This research is action research which used exploratory mixed method using Elliot model. Process of collecting data used observation, interview, diary note, and test. The technique of analysis data was reduction, presentation, and taking conclusion. The research finding show that google classroom has given significant impact on English extensive reading in the classroom. Some students think that it is easy to delivery assignment and correction of the task. They can do it out of class. It can be seen from the average score from reading test in pretest is 53 and posttest is 87. IMPROVING STUDENT’S READING COMPREHENSION THROUGH ENGLISH SHORT STORY AT ELEVENTH GRADE OF SMAS NU CENTINI LAREN LAMONGAN

The focus of this teaching and learning activity is to improve students' reading comprehension through English short stories in eleventh grade students of SMAS NU Centini Laren Lamongan. Utilizing the existence of English short stories as a medium is expected to make a positive contribution to students through their characteristics that make readers feel happy. This research is a Classroom Action Research which is carried out by following John Elliot's model research procedures which include planning, action, observation, reflection or evaluation. The research was carried out in the eleventh class of SMAS NU Centini Laren Lamongan for the academic year 2019-2020 even semester totaling 50 students. The results showed that before being given learning using short story books in English, the average value of reading comprehension was 56 (8%) in the very low category. After learning reading comprehension was carried out using English short story book media in the first cycle the average value of students 'reading comprehension increased to 67 (38%), still in the moderate category, and learning was carried out in the second cycle the students' reading comprehension ability increased the average score. and a percentage of 77 (86%) with a very high category. By using this method, there was a fairly good increase for the students of SMAS NU Centini Laren Lamongan. In addition, other results obtained were students easier to absorb and understand English learning material and this activity was also the starting point for other activities. UPAYA MENINGKATAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF DENGAN MEMBILANG MELALUI MEDIA PERMAINAN CONGKLAK PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B DI PAUD PUTRA PERTIWI KECAMATAN LUBUK SANDI KABUPATEN SELUMA

The purpose of this study was to determine children's cognitive development through the congklak game method in PAUD Pitra Pertiwi, Lubuk Sandi District, Seluma Regency. This classroom action research uses the Jhon Elliot model, where each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of the research obtained show that the application of playing congklak can improve the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Putra Pertiwi, Lubuk Sandi District, Seluma Regency. This increase occurs because, at each stage of the meeting, improvements are made, so that children get used to learning activities using congklak media. The cognitive development of children by counting through congklak media in PAUD Putra Pertiwi Seluma Regency reaches 96% with the criteria developing according to expectations (BSH).

Media Gambar dan Pesan Berantai sebagai Strategi Efektif Pembelajaran Menyimak Bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar

This study is a study of the use of chain messages techniques to streamline learning to listen to students in learning Indonesian in grade IV SDN Tarikolot I with legend stories. This research was conducted to improve the ability to listen to students, then the class teacher did not use this chain message technique. In this class action research researchers used Jhon Elliot's model. This research was conducted in three cycles. In each of its actions the researcher uses various data collection tools in the form of tests and non tests. At the implementation of this learning students look very enthusiastic, because in this learning given a piece of story that they must understand and tell a group of friends, so that each student has responsibility. The results of the study showed that learning Indonesian with reading material from a legend could improve the process and ability to listen to students. The learning process every cycle has increased. This can be seen from the average value of the process test in the cycle 1: 66.33; cycle 2: 70.3; and cycle 3: 77.3. The ability to listen to students also experiences an increase in each cycle seen in the average value of the evaluation test cycle 1: 67.5; cycle 2: 71,47; and in the 3: 75.5 cycle. And can also be seen also from the average results of observations of student activities in the cycle 1: 67.04; cycle 2: 73; and in the 3: 76.8 cycle.

How to Implement the Savi Learning Model for Students with Reading Difficulties

The purpose of this action research is to describe the application of the SAVI learning model and learning for continuous students to learn to read in the fourth grade of Tomohon State Elementary School II and SD GMIM III Tomohon. The method used in this study is action research. Action research provides useful answers for teachers or educators in conducting studies in a school and providing input that requires help to improve what has been done real. This study uses the Elliot model with quantitative and qualitative research (mixed methods) in the field of data analysis. Based on the results of the assessment, discussion of researchers with collaborators, and achievements of student learning outcomes in each cycle, it can be concluded that: a) Thematic learning outcomes and learning in sustainable students in grade IV of Tomohon Elementary School II and SD GMIM III Tomohon can be searched through the application of the SAVI learning model, b) The learning process that applies the SAVI Learning Model is able to overcome the difficulties of students, namely learning continuous difficulties for subject matter with moving learning, understanding, listening and thinking to improve learning and learning outcomes improve.

Auctions for multi-robot task allocation in communication limited environments

We consider the problem of multi-robot task allocation using auctions, and study how lossy communication between the auctioneer and bidders affects solution quality. We demonstrate both analytically and experimentally that even though many auction algorithms have similar performance when communication is perfect, different auctions degrade in different ways as communication quality decreases from perfect to nonexistent. Thus, if a multi-robot system is expected to encounter lossy communication, then the auction algorithm that it uses for task allocation must be chosen carefully. We compare six auction algorithms including: standard implementations of the Sequential Auction, Parallel Auction, Combinatorial Auction; a generalization of the Prim Allocation Auction called G-Prim; and two multi-round variants of a Repeated Parallel Auction. Variants of these auctions are also considered in which award information from previous rounds is rebroadcast by the auctioneer during later rounds. We consider a variety of valuation functions used by the bidders, including: the total and maximum distance traveled (for distance based cost functions), the expected profit or cost to a robot (assuming robots’ task values are drawn from a random distribution). Different auctioneer objectives are also evaluated, and include: maximizing profit (max sum), minimizing cost (min sum), and minimizing the maximum distance traveled by any particular robot (min max). In addition to the cost value functions that are used, we are also interested in fleet performance statistics such as the expected robot utilization rate, and the expected number of items won by each robot. Experiments are performed both in simulation and on real AscTec Pelican quad-rotor aircraft. In simulation, each algorithm is considered across communication qualities ranging from perfect to nonexistent. For the case of the distance-based cost functions, the performance of the auctions is compared using two different communication models: (1) a Bernoulli model and (2) the Gilbert–Elliot model. The particular auction that performs the best changes based on the the reliability of the communication between the bidders and the auctioneer. We find that G-Prim and its repeated variant perform relatively well when communication is poor, and that re-sending winner data in later rounds is an easy way improve the performance of multi-round auctions, in general.

PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN BAHASA INGGRIS MELALUI MEDIA KOMIK BERBAHASA INGGRIS PADA SISWA KELAS VIII MTS

Given the importance to the role of reading about the development of science then there should be efforts to improve students’ reading ability by using the presence of English comics as a medium is expected to make a positive contribution for students through its nature that makes readers are happy. The child’s interest in the story tells a significant emphasis about the need through the use of comic media for learning. This classroom action research aims to improve students’ reading comprehension at VIII C in MTs Subulussalam Kayuagung through English comic media. This research is a Classroom Action Research which is carried out by following John Elliot's model research procedure which includes planning, action, observation, reflection or evaluation. The research was conducted at MTs Subulussalam Kayuagung from the 2017-2018 which was odd semester of 26 students. The research shows that before being given instruction using english comic media the average score of reading student’s understanding is 62,70 (57,70%) with medium category. After reading comprehension learning using english comic media first cycle the average score of students’ comprehension ability increased to 70 (69.23%) still in medium category and done learning on second cycle of reading comprehension ability of student experience increase of average value and percentage equal to 81,54 (88,46%) with very high category.

Improving Drama Script Writing through Modeling Strategies


 This action research refers to Elliot model (1991) that aims to improve the ability of writing a screenplay through modeling strategies. This action researchon SMA of Purbolinggo Lampung in the academic year of 2014/2015. The implementation of this research is three cycles. Each implementation of actions is divided into stages, identifying intial idea, reconnaissance, general planning, implement of action, monitor implemention, reflection, reconnaissance and revise general idea. The results of the reflection activities function as a foothold to draw up a plan of action to the next cycle. The research results can be concluded: the first process of improving writing skills through drama script modeling strategy. Second, the results of the upgrade script writing drama through modeling strategies, ranging from initial tests as exploitation of the capabilities of the beginning to the end of the test third cycle the experience increased. (1) The results of initial tests average score 40.1 ((level less); (2) the first cycle the average score 42.4 (level less); (3) the second cycle the average score 64.3 (level of being); and (4) the third cycle the average score 83.4. This score has already reached a high level.

IEEE 802.11p VANets: Experimental evaluation of packet inter-reception time

Periodic exchange of situational information (beacons) is at the basis of most active safety applications in vehicular environments, and understanding its performance in real-world situations is very important. However, existing studies are focused on measuring the packet delivery rate (PDR), while disregarding the packet inter-reception (PIR) time which has recently been shown to be more relevant than PDR to characterize active safety application performance. In this paper, we fill this gap by presenting an extensive study of the PIR times observed in real-world highway scenarios.We start by showing that PIR cannot be reliably estimated from PDR, since the two metrics are only weakly correlated. Motivated by this finding, we present a thorough characterization of the PIR time distribution, which is shown to be a power law in a variety of configurations. The shape of the PIR time distribution indicates that potentially dangerous “situational awareness” blackouts are relatively frequent and positively time correlated. We then evaluate the effect of vehicle configuration and line-of-sight conditions on the PIR time, and show that relatively simple multi-hop beaconing techniques can substantially improve PIR statistics and, hence, safety. A final contribution of this paper is promoting the Gilbert–Elliot model, previously proposed to model bit-error bursts in packet switched networks, as a very accurate model of beacon reception behavior observed in real-world scenarios.
