The Model of “Post, Course, Competition, Certificate” Integrated Education for Electronic Information Engineering Technology Major in Higher Vocational Colleges

The core education function of higher vocational colleges is to train technical talents with high quality, so as to meet the needs of talents in the development stage of our society. Under the guidance of talent training, higher vocational colleges need to pay attention to establishing an all-round and three-dimensional education model, and promote innovation of higher vocational education on the basis of this. It is also a way to promote the innovation of higher vocational education to vigorously promote the construction of “post, course, competition, certificate” mode in the construction of education mode. Through the construction of “post, course, competition, certificate” mode, the education mode of higher vocational colleges is gradually improved, so as to strengthen the effectiveness of talent training in higher vocational colleges. Therefore, in this paper, the author puts forward some suggestions to promote the construction of the integrated education mode of the electronic information engineering technology major in higher vocational colleges, so as to help improve the talent training level of higher vocational colleges.

Application of Electronic Information Engineering Technology in Intelligent Communication

As a representative of advanced science and technology, communication intelligence technology has developed steadily in the past few years. At present, the wide application of electronic information engineering technology in electric power industry has a very important impact on the development and construction of electric power communication network. Electronic engineering technology provides a good solution to solve the problem of unstable power supply in China's power system, which not only promotes the development of the power industry, but also plays an important role in the maintenance of China's power system. In recent years, with the steady development of artificial intelligence technology, its application is also increasing, and it has gained more and more widespread social attention. Nowadays, with the continuous development of Internet technology and electronic computers, people's cognition of artificial intelligence technology and artificial intelligence products has slowly changed. The continuous progress of science and technology has made artificial intelligence walk in the front of today's scientific and technological development, and has attracted high attention and application from all walks of life. As the main communication technology produced in today's society, electronic engineering technology provides great convenience for People's Daily life. Electronic engineering technology is constantly innovating and breaking through on the basis of existing, and developing in the direction of intelligence.

CDIO-based teaching at universities: A case study for students majoring in electrical and electronic engineering technology, Vietnam

In the 1980s of the twentieth century, universities in developed countries began to realize the growing gap between the capabilities of new graduate engineers and the actual requirements of engineering branches. The strong progress of technology requires engineers to have the intellectual abilities and necessary job-specific skills to master that progress. This paper focuses on Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate (CDIO) approach-based teaching for students majoring in electrical and electronic engineering technology at engineering universities in Vietnam to demonstrate the feasibility of the teaching model. The experimental method of synthesizing qualitative and quantitative results for 90 students in control and experimental classes was used. The experimental and control classes both had 45 students. SPSS software version 22 was used to gather data and evaluate the learning results of the two experimental and control groups. According to the findings of the T-test analysis of the independent variables for the two groups, the experimental class performed better in academics and had students in the experimental group who were more satisfied with their post-test scores. This result contributes to confirm that the use of the CDIO-based teaching model in Vietnam is effective for students majoring in electrical and electronic engineering technology.

With the continuous development of science and technology, electronic engineering technology pays more and more attention to the application of computers in this field, and the application of electronic information engineering technology is also increasing. However, it also makes him more and more risky, and the information may be stolen and changed randomly. Especially since the 21st century, the development of information technology has been quite rapid. Among all kinds of science and technology, computer and electronic engineering technology also occupies a more important position, which has brought about earth-shaking changes in people's life and work style and promoted social development to a certain extent. Under this background, there are inevitably hidden dangers in information security, which also hinders the progress of science and technology and the development of society to some extent. Based on this situation, we must strengthen our electronic information engineering prevention technology to ensure everyone's privacy. This paper first introduces the application of electronic information engineering technology, and then discusses its security risks and related measures to realize the security management of electronic information engineering technology.

Teaching Towards “CDIO” Approach on Students of Electrical-Electronic Engineering Technology: A Case Study

Competence-based teaching model is a popular trend to replace traditional teaching in modern education. However, up to now, there has not been a competence approach model that provides a detailed and specific set of tools to help design and implement engineering training to achieve the desired learning outcomes like the “CDIO” (Conceive Design Implement Operate) approach. The papers used the experimental research method with the sample of 90 students (of whom 47 students were in the experimental class students and 43 students were in the control class) for the module "Electronic internship". It applied the teaching model with the positive teaching method through the process of organizing teaching and learning activities towards CDIO approach. It used the methods of testing F-test, T-test of independent variables on the learning performance of students including midterm and final grades through SPSS 20 software. The experimental class had higher results than the control class, and at the same time the Effect size of the experimental class was 0.7 higher than that of the control class (J. Cohen, 1998). That proves that experimental brings efficiency in teaching and learning. This result initially affirms that the use of CDIO-based teaching methods is valuable for teaching and learning in engineering training in general and in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology in particular.

Using Flowchart to Help Students Learn Basic Circuit Theories Quickly

College education, especially engineering education, is facing big challenges nowadays. Somehow, the gap between quickly developed modern technology used in every field and fundamental theories may discourage some students from continuing their studies in an engineering field. Most fundamental theories are taught in introductory courses in every field and are based on math, which is hard and tedious work to some students. Helping students to build a solid foundation of basic theories in engineering education not only aids students in the study of technical material but also keeps students interested in engineering education, which meets the requirement of sustainability and inclusivity in education. This article proposes a tool to help students quickly grasp basic theories in electronic engineering technology programs. It summarizes basic theories into a flowchart. Students can solve problems in DC and AC circuits following the flowchart with higher accuracy. The flowchart was used by different groups as a reference, and it helps students access to the material quickly according to student performance.

IMPLEMENTING A 12-STEPS MIRKO CAPACITORS CONTROL MODEL FOR PRACTICAL TEACHING (A case study of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology major at Tra Vinh University)

This study is to implement a 12-steps Mikro capacitors control model which serves for the teaching, learning, researching and practicing of students majoring in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology. By methods of analysis based on working experience, methods of synthesizing theory and scientific experiments, operating on the 6-steps Mirko capacitors control model, the research has built a 12-steps Mirko capacitors control model which is an improvement compared to current model. The drawings of the model are designed, processed, operated, tested and corrected measurement errors by Autocad and Corel softwares. The study conducted an experiment on measurement error between the MFM384 meter and the PFR-120 capacitor control relay compared to the PFR-60 capacitor control relay. The highlight of this study is to compare the results of the measurement error between the 6-steps Mirko capacitors control model at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Tra Vinh University and our 12-steps Mirko capacitors control model. As a result, the designed model of 12-steps Mirko capacitors control works with fewer errors and more efficiency.

Research on A Joint Attribute Based Neural Network Model for Multi-class Voltage Violation

Electronic engineering technology is a symbol of modern technology, and a large number of electronic devices have been produced. This paved the way for the development of the Internet. This article analyzes the characteristics of the application of computer electronic engineering technology, and it analyzes the measures to strengthen the application of electronic engineering technology and the measures to promote the development of electronic engineering technology. In addition, this article also studies the teaching system design of electronic engineering technology.

Computer-Based Electronic Engineering Technology

Most of the current image fusion algorithms directly process the original image, neglect the analysis of the main components of the image, and have a great influence on the effect of image fusion. In this paper, the main component analysis method is used to decompose the image, divided into low rank matrix and sparse matrix, introduced compression perception technology and NSST transformation algorithm to process the two types of matrix, according to the corresponding fusion rules to achieve image fusion, through experimental results: this algorithm has greater mutual information compared with traditional algorithms, structural information similarity and average gradient.

Preface

With great pleasure, we would like to welcome all delegates to our 2021 International Conference on Biomedical Engineering (ICoBE). ICoBE 2021 was organized by Faculty of Electronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) as the main organizer and Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, Tohoku University, Japan and The Institute of Biomedical Engineering & Health Technologies, De La Salle University, Philippines as the co-organizers of this conference. ICoBE 2021 was held virtually at UniMAP due to travelling restriction issued by the government.ICoBE conference covers a wide range of current research areas which covers important elements in the related engineering fields. This conference gathers experts from different countries to discuss the state of the art and to present new research findings and perspectives. Four prominent keynote speakers from oversea universities and from industry were invited to share their ideas on current developments in these emerging and important topics. Our 85 participants came from several countries such as Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Japan and United Kingdom. There are 12 sessions for oral presentation, and the participant are given 10 minutes to deliver their works and 5 minutes for Q&A via Google Meet platform. All sessions went smoothly with minor issues such as participants mistakenly entering the session. We are sure all participants used this conference as a platform to present their work and address current problems in this challenging and promising field and subsequently create new avenues for the commercialization of new products.List of Photos are available in this pdf.

IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN TRIPLE SKILLING DALAM MEMBANGUN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA TERAMPIL DAN PRODUKTIF (STUDI KASUS: BALAI BESAR PENGEMBANGAN LATIHAN KERJA BEKASI)

The development of skilled and productive human resources is one of the main priorities of President Joko Widodo's policy. The unemployment burden which continues to increase due to the emergence of mismatches of workers' skills with company needs and automation will be a threat to the future of the workforce in Indonesia. The Triple Skilling Policy (Skilling, Re-skilling, Up-skilling) were made to minimize labor problems in Indonesia. Balai Besar Pengembangan Latihan Kerja Bekasi as one of the vocational training centers that conducts job training has implemented a Triple Skilling policy in 4 vocations which are Electronic Engineering, Refrigeration, Information and Communication Technology, and Tourism. The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of the Triple Skilling policy in BBPLK Bekasi and the benefits of the policy in building competent and productive human resources. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection using direct observation techniques and in-depth interviews with head of the training program section, instructors, and training participants at BBPLK Bekasi. Through the implementation, several problems were encountered, such as the short duration of training, the diversity of educational backgrounds and skills of training participants, and the need to improve the competence of instructors at BBPLK Bekasi.

The 1st International Conference on Engineering and Technology (ICoEngTech) 2021 has been successfully organized on 15-16 March 2021 virtually. IcoEngTech 2021 is a joint conference organized by Faculty of Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEN), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) and Hadhramout University. The initial venue for this conference is in Perlis, Malaysia. Due to the Covid-19 situation, the organizing committees have decided to organize this conference virtually. This conference aim to bring together researchers and technical experts from the academic, industries, and public sectors in the context of interdisciplinary forum and discussions on engineering, science, and technology. This conference provides an excellent opportunity of knowledge sharing and research ideas exchange in the abovementioned disciplines for a better quality of life to meet future challenges. The registration is open for all researchers, technical experts, postgraduates, and post-doctoral students from all over the world.A total of 68 works has been presented in this conference. The presentation platform was using Google Meet. All presentations were divided into 12 sessions and 6 sessions were conducted in parallel for each day. Each presenter was given 15 minutes to present their work and 5 minutes for the question-and-answer session. The elected chair for each session played important role to control the time flow and encouraging active discussion in every session.This conference has received 143 submissions from various countries including Malaysia, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Indonesia, India, Iraq, Egypt, and Algeria. Optimal Design of Solar Photovoltaic Power System with Battery Storage for Sustainable Campus Buildings

The increasing energy demand and the development of renewable energy technology has been the catalyst for utilization of energy from renewable resources. Harvesting solar energy especially through photovoltaic technology is the most attractive and favoured in Malaysia. The aim of this study is to optimally design a solar PV system with battery storage for university building and evaluate the technical performance of the proposed system by using PVsyst simulation. Three buildings from Faculty of Electronic Engineering Technology, University Malaysia Perlis have been chosen as case study. The methodologies include data gathering for load profile and meteorological data such as solar irradiation and temperature, sizing of system’s components and lastly using PVsyst simulation to evaluate technical performance of the proposed system. The result shows the system could produce 168,989 kWh of energy to the load which is technically suitable for the site due to the high specific yield production and the performance ratio in addition to high solar fraction. In addition, the system could save RM 61,801 annually from electricity bill while from sustainability aspect, 117 tons of CO2 could be avoided by using renewable energy annually.
