In the present investigation, the study of the Zinc electrolytic galvanizing process on the interior surfaces for high-pressure pipe couplings is detailed, this through a statistical factorial analysis 23 that allowed to relate the 3 factors of the experimentation layout of parts, electrolyte agitation and immersion time; in this way, 8 types of possible iterations were determined in order to analyze the correlation and the incidence in the quality of the anticorrosive protection under the ISO 10289:2001 standard. The adequate levels of the electrolyte were determined using a Hull cell, and optimal working parameters were established at a temperature of 20 °C, a current density of 2.7 A/dm2 and a voltage of 5 V. After experimentation it was determined that the arrangement of the parts is the most determining factor for the coating to provide good anti-corrosion protection in combination with acid baths. The methodology used could serve as a basis for the collection of new results and possible comparisons.
