Profit Analysis of Broiler Chicken Business in Semi Closed House and Closed House in Marrang District, Pangkajene Islands Regency

Competition in the business world is getting tighter, nowadays entrepreneurs are required to be able to develop their business in order to develop, progress, grow and become successful entrepreneurs. The purpose of this study was to determine how the income of broiler farmers compares in Semi Closed House and Closed House in Attangsalo Village, Ma'rang Kecamatam, Pangkep Regency. The research was conducted in June 2024. The method used is descriptive method with observation, interview, survey and documentation techniques. The profit obtained in the first period amounted to Rp.95,182,489 in the second period of Rp.85,110,261, the third period amounted to Rp.80,248,972, in the fourth period amounted to Rp.166,780,136, in the fifth period Rp.125,964,691, in the sixth period Rp.87,759,266, in the seventh period Rp.74,914,884, in the eighth period Rp.39,188,492. Comparison of farmer profits over the past 2 years with a population of 14,000 heads in close house cages that do not apply technology, the income earned decreases in each period while cages with a population of 24,000 heads in close house cages by applying technology increases in each period. This shows that farmers who use technology are much better.

Structural Changes in the Impact of Covid-19 Pandemic on the Performance of Financial Markets. Stock Market by Using Least Squares WHTI Breaks

The global outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 became unprecedented and sent shockwaves through financial markets worldwide. This study investigates the impact of the pandemic on the performance of the U.S. financial market from March 1, 2020, to April 14, 2022. Utilizing Bai and Perron’s (1998) least squares with breaks during this period. The study’s test findings validate the existence of seven structural changes, signifying the occurrence of eight effects of independent factors on the S&P 500 index. The empirical findings demonstrate a substantial influence of COVID-19 pandemic on the performance of financial markets. Specifically, the impact of the number of COVID-19 cases and new fatalities on financial market performance, exhibits variations in terms of direction, nature, depth, and level. Based on an analysis of the structural changes, it can be inferred that the initial period exhibits the most pronounced negative impact on the number of new COVID-19 cases. Subsequently, the direction and nature of this impact undergo a transformation from the second to the eighth periods. Specifically, the impact of the number of new COVID-19 cases becomes positive in the second, third, sixth, seventh, and eighth periods, gradually diminishing until it reaches its lowest levels of impact in the eighth period. The research further identifies a detrimental impact on the occurrence of new fatalities. However, the periods spanning from the third to the fifth period exhibit very modest levels of influence, which then transition into a beneficial effect during the fifth period. Moreover, the research reveals that the impact of mortality rates on the performance of the United States stock market was greater than that of COVID-19 cases across all periods linked to structural changes. Additionally, the exchange rate of the dollar has a consistent and favorable impact, and the real interest rate has a pronounced negative impact, which gradually reduces over time and eventually transitions into a positive value by the eighth period.

The Multifractal Phenomenon of Stock Price Caused by “Tesla Rights Defense Event”

In this paper, we explore the periodicity of the multifractal phenomenon of stock price caused by public relations events using the multifractal detrended fluctuation analysis (MF-DFA) method. The Tesla stock closing price in the context of the Tesla rights defense event is used to obtain the generalized Hurst exponent and multifractal spectrum. We find that the stock price exhibits multifractal characteristics. Afterwards, we conduct a multifractal time-varying analysis using high-frequency data for 12 time periods before and after the Tesla rights defense event, which happened on 19 April 2021. We calculate the [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] before and after the rights defense event to measure the degree of multifractal of Tesla stock price. In addition, we also compute the difference between the two [Formula: see text] and two [Formula: see text], which are regarded as [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. The results show that the Tesla stock market efficiency degree raised as the period time increases until the eighth period. And after the eighth period, both [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] tend to be stable, and the degree of market efficiency caused by the Tesla rights defense event remains almost unchanged. In addition, we use three broad market indices in the context of the Russia–Ukraine conflict to test the universality. The three broad market indices are Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SSEC) and Nikkei 225 ETF (N225). The results demonstrate that with the extending of time period, [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] gradually stabilize, indicating that public memorability will diminish and the market efficiency almost remains unchanged.

Empirical analysis of the relationship between carbon trading price and stock price of high carbon emitting firms based on VAR model - evidence from Chinese listed companies.

At the United Nations General Assembly, the Chinese government promised to reach the peak of carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and achieve a relative balance between carbon dioxide production and offsetting by 2060. The research aims to explore the relationship between carbon trading prices and stock prices in various high emission industries in China and analyze the attitudes and behaviors of enterprises towards carbon trading. From a market perspective, this topic has important theoretical significance and practical value for promoting energy transformation, encouraging enterprises to reduce emissions, and controlling greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, understanding the behavior and attitude of enterprises in the carbon market is also of great significance for formulating policies and measures to develop the carbon trading market. The study used the VAR model to empirically analyze the relationship between carbon trading prices and stock prices. Granger causality test, impulse response analysis, and variance decomposition analysis are used for analysis. The research results indicate that the contribution rate of carbon trading prices in the first phase is 100%, which gradually decreases to the lowest value of 98.27% in the eighth phase. The stock price contribution rates of the water, electricity, and gas supply industries reach a peak of 0.74% in the second period and gradually decrease to 5.2% in the eighth period. The contribution rate of stock prices in other industries has gradually increased. At present, the carbon trading market in China is still in the development stage, and it is necessary for the government to adopt various policies to regulate it, including encouraging enterprises in high emission industries to increase investment in emission reduction, strengthening the supervision of the carbon trading market, providing technical support and green innovation incentives, strengthening enterprise emission reduction awareness and information disclosure.

Innovative integration of environmental and economic development related to water–food–energy relations

Abstract Due to severe water pollution, gradual shortage of energy resources, and increasing demand for food, the environment related to the water, food, and energy nexus has caused serious damage and pollution and has had a significant impact on economic development. In order to better promote the integration and coordinated development of the environment and economy, this article constructed an innovative technology model based on the study of the relationship between the two and analyzed the role of innovative technology in the integrated development of environment and economy. Through research, it was found that the variance contribution rate (VCR) of the third phase of innovation technology in high matching regions to the integrated development of environment and economy was 0.964, and the VCR of the sixth phase was 0.966. The VCR of the eighth period was 0.961. The VCR of the third phase of innovation technology in low matching areas to the integrated development of environment and economy was 0.791, the VCR of the sixth phase was 0.697, and the VCR of the eighth phase was 0.748. Compared to high matching regions, the VCR of innovative technologies in low matching regions to the integrated development of environment and economy is significantly lower.

Análise do perfil epidemiológico dos pacientes da Clínica-Escola de Fisioterapia do UNEC – Nanuque

The UNEC-CASU Health Care Center is a school clinic for the Physiotherapy course at the Centro Universitário de Caratinga-UNEC Nanuque higher education institution. It was founded in 2010 and aims to provide practical classes for the Physiotherapy course, as well as the compulsory supervised internship, which takes place from the eighth period of the course. Objective: To verify, through a documentary analysis, information on the epidemiological profile of patients at a physiotherapy school clinic located in the city of Nanuque-MG. Methodology: By means of an exploratory documentary study, this study analyzed the characteristics of the epidemiological profile, as well as the pathologies presented by the patients of a Physiotherapy school clinic, observing factors that interfere positively or negatively both in their health and in the quality of care, with a view to the results obtained through the Physiotherapy treatment carried out by trainees from a higher education institution in the city of Nanuque-MG. Results: It was observed that the population seeks physiotherapy rehabilitation services because they have a greater number of musculoskeletal injuries, portraying difficulties in carrying out everyday activities. Conclusion: It can be concluded that, in general, among the various areas of physiotherapy worked on in physiotherapy clinics, the specialty of orthopaedic and trauma physiotherapy is the most sought-after area in the municipality of Nanuque, Minas Gerais, and that the population seeks physiotherapy rehabilitation services because they have a greater number of musculoskeletal injuries, including difficulties in carrying out their daily tasks.

Change over Time in the Risk of Death among Japanese COVID-19 Cases Caused by the Omicron Variant Depending on Prevalence of Sublineages.

To assess temporal changes to the risk of death in COVID-19 cases caused by the Omicron variant, we calculated age-standardized case fatality rates (CFR) in patients aged ≥40 years over nine diagnostic periods (3 January to 28 August 2022) in ten Japanese prefectures (14.8 million residents). Among 552,581 study subjects, we found that there were 1836 fatalities during the isolation period (up to 28 days from date of onset). The highest age-standardized CFR (0.85%, 95% confidence interval (CI):0.78-0.92) was observed in cases diagnosed in the second 4-week period (January 31 to February 27), after which it declined significantly up to the 6th 4-week period (0.23%, 95% CI: 0.13-0.33, May 23 to June 19). The CFR then increased again but remained at 0.39% in the eighth period (July 18 to August 28). The CFR in cases with the BA.2 or BA.5 sublineages in the age range 60-80 years was significantly lower than that with BA.1 infections (60 years: 0.19%, 0.02%, 0.053%, respectively; 70 years: 0.91%, 0.33%, 0.39%; ≥80 years: 3.78%, 1.96%, 1.81%, respectively). We conclude that the risk of death in Japanese COVID-19 patients infected with Omicron variants declined through February to mid-June 2022.

COVID-19 prevention, control and management during dental care in a school clinic

This study investigated the effectiveness of physical and mechanical barriers in the prevention, control and management of COVID-19 during dental care. In this cross-sectional study, two research students from the eighth period of the dentistry course performed 24 consultations from January to June 2022, in the 4 specialties under study: surgery (S), restorative dentistry (D), endodontics (E) and periodontics (P). For each specialty researched, there were 3 groups: control (CG), which adopted the current biosafety norms of the Federal Council of Dentistry (FCD); with circular shield (G1) and with rectangular shield (G2). For each specialty, the researcher performed 6 dental appointments, whose patients were chosen by lot to which group they would participate, so that the distribution wasequitable between the groups. Aerosol stains were found around office equipment, as well as on professionals' personal protective equipment (PPE) and close to the patient. The maximum distance found from aerosol splashes to the naked eye was 1.43m during prophylaxis procedures in the CG. In all groups, most of the splashes were found on the PPE used by professionals, especially on gloves, in the professionals' wrist region; on the patient, on the apron and neck. There was no statistically significant difference between the groups within the specialties (p-value > 0.05), disregarding the comparison between pairs. It was concluded that there was dissemination of aerosol droplets in all dental visits in the 4 specialties studied. Although the PPE proposed by the FCD are effective as a physical barrier to reduce cross-infection and the spread of droplets and aerosols, as well as a preventive measure against COVID-19 during dental care, the professional can use other devices that demonstrate effectiveness, such as the circular screens and the acrylic box, during the dental procedures.

Rules of thumb for synthesizing superheavy elements

Synthesizing any elements in the eighth period using either cold or hot fusion reactions remains a big challenge to date. The quasifission mechanism restricts complete fusion to an indeterminably low evaporation residue (ER) cross-section for superheavy nuclei. The entrance channel parameters of the heavy-ion reaction, the fission barrier of the compound nucleus, the deformation parameters of the projectile and target nuclei, and the kinetic energy of the projectile are mainly responsible for governing the scale of the quasifission. The role of these factors has been examined explicitly by the experimental ER cross-sections. Thorough comparisons lead us to infer that the entrance channel criteria contribute to a much lower extent than the deformation parameters do. The effect of deformation can be categorized into four rules as validated by all the reactions used except one Uue. The null result from this reaction is explained by the improper choice of the projectile energy, as shown theoretically by means of a statistical model approach, which is valid for a system having a large nucleon number so as to intrinsically have a high density of excited states. The optimal selection of the beam energy sets another rule. Therefore, these five rules can be treated as the rules of thumb for synthesizing the superheavy elements. Application of the first four rules can enable us primarily to spot a suitable reaction, and finally, exploitation of the fifth rule chooses the most appropriate reaction at a preferable excited energy to achieve the highest ER cross-section for a superheavy element.

Prevalence of depressive symptoms in Medicine students: the challenge of different methodologies

Objective: Determine the prevalence of depressive symptoms among medical students in the state of Paraná, Brazil, and compare the prevalence of these symptoms among students that use traditional and active methodologies of teaching. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was conducted, with a quantitative approach, through data collection between August and September 2020. An online form was sent, through the Google Forms platform, containing 23 questions. Students from the first to the eighth period of medical school participated, with a minimum age, from all medical schools in Paraná. Results: 250 were included. From the total, 62% uses the PBL methodology, 32% the traditional methodology and 6% uses another method. When asked if the methodology could generate depressive symptoms, 70% of the participants believe that there is a relation between the methodology and depressive symptoms. Conclusion: Although depressive symptoms can be triggered by the teaching methodology and are prevalent among medical students, the results shows that there is no statistical difference between the methodologies.

Temporal analysis of goals scored in futsal: a comparison of two models

PurposeIn futsal, the goal is the most important situation that can lead the teams to victory. The understanding of when they are scored can help adopting effective strategies, increasing the chances of victory. This study aimed to compare 2 models for analysing goals scored in futsal as a function of time.MethodsOverall, 1122 goals were analysed in 194 matches of the 2018 Brazilian Futsal League, male adult category. The playing time was divided into four 10-minute periods (conventional model) and eight 5-minute periods (alternative model). The goal occurrence was compared with mixed models of repeated measures, and the fit of models by Akaike information criterion (AIC) and Bayesian information criterion (BIC).ResultsBoth models were statistically significant (<i>p</i> < 0.001), indicating that the means of goals were different depending on the periods. The conventional model showed that the mean of goals was higher in the final 10 minutes (<i>p</i> < 0.001); the alternative model implied that from the seventh to the eighth period the mean of goals increased by 39.1% (95% CI: 0.27–0.64, p < 0.001). In addition, the 5-minute model revealed a better fit than the 10-minute model in accordance with AIC and BIC.ConclusionsThis finding suggests that more reliable models are useful for better understanding of how the frequency of crucial events, such as goals, changes in the course of a match. We provide information for the coaching staff to strategically think about the best situations for their teams to succeed in competitive matches.

Relativistic Calculations of the Chemical Properties of the Superheavy Element with Z = 119 and Its Homologues

Relativistic calculations of the electronic structure of the superheavy element of the eighth period $-$ eka-francium ($Z=119$) and its homologues, which form the group of alkali metals, are performed in the framework of the configuration-interaction method and many-body perturbation theory using the basis of the Dirac-Fock-Sturm orbitals (DFS). The obtained values of the ionization potentials, electron affinities, and root-mean-square radii are compared with the corresponding values calculated within the non-relativistic approximation. A comparison with the available experimental data and the results of previous theoretical calculations is given as well. The analysis of the obtained results indicates a significant influence of the relativistic effects for the francium and eka-francium atoms, which leads to a violation of the monotonic behaviour of the listed above chemical properties as a function of the alkaline-element atomic number. In addition, the quantum electrodynamics corrections to the ionization potentials are evaluated by employing the model Lamb-shift operator (QEDMOD).

How atmospheric pollutants impact the development of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and lung cancer: A var-based model.

The impact of air pollution on humans is a worrisome factor that has gained prominence over the years due to the importance of the topic to society. Lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease are among the diseases associated with pollution that increase the mortality rate in Brazil and worldwide. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the impacts of air pollutants on mortality rates from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer (LC) using vector autoregressive (VAR) modeling. The adjusted model was a VAR(1) and, according to the Granger causality test, the air pollutants selected were PM10, O3, CO, NO2, and SO2. The shocks applied to the variables O3, using the impulse response function, negatively impacted COPD; in the eighth period, which is stabilized. The LC variable suffered more significant variations from O3 and after a shock in this variable, an initially negative response in LC occurred and the series stabilized in period nine. After one year, 20.19% of COPD variance was explained by O3. After twelve months, the atmospheric pollutant O3 represented 5.00% and NO2 represented 4.02% of LC variance. Moreover, the variables that caused the highest impact on COPD and LC mortality rates were O3 and NO2, indicating that air pollution influences the clinical state of people who have these diseases and even contributes to their development. The VAR model was able to identify the air pollutants that have the most significant impact on the diseases analyzed and explained the interrelationship between them.

Análise das ligas acadêmicas de medicina sob a perspectiva dos alunos

Objetivo: analisar as ligas acadêmicas de medicina (LAM) estruturadas e em funcionamento em instituição de ensino superior como estratégias de ensino e aprendizagem, considerando o perfil e verificar se as atividades promovidas pelas LAM estão alinhadas com a medicina baseada em evidências.Métodos: estudo descritivo, do tipo transversal, aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética da Faculdade de Ciências Médicas e da Saúde de Juiz de Fora. Participaram como sujeitos da pesquisa estudantes do último ano de medicina e médicos recém-formados no ano de 2018. Essa amostragem não probabilística teve como finalidade a avaliação da influência das LAM na formação médica.Resultados: oito (5,9%) entrevistados não participaram de qualquer LAM. Observou-se que 31 (24,2%), 49 (38,3%) e 38 (29,7%) participaram de uma, duas ou três LAM, respectivamente. A maioria participou de LAM do terceiro ao oitavo período, porém em todos os períodos houve participação de algum aluno. Para 50 (39,1%) entrevistados, as LAM ajudaram de alguma forma para confirmar a escolha da área da residência, já para 53 (41,4%) deles, elas ajudaram na exclusão da área para a residência. Nota-se, ainda, que 117 (91,4%) dos que participaram de LAM acharam a experiência válida para a formação acadêmica.Conclusões: a maior parte dos alunos atualmente participam de ligas; há enorme interesse em participar de diretoria de LAM e estágios extracurriculares; as LAM contribuem para a escolha da futura especialidade; os estudantes veem necessidade na regulamentação das LAM; a avaliação global é de que a experiência é válida para a formação médica. O tema ligas acadêmicas é de enorme relevância atualmente em virtude da extensa participação dos estudantes nessas atividades. A educação em saúde visa compreender a importância dessas entidades para garantir o maior êxito possível no ensino, na pesquisa e na extensão.

Ferramenta TIME para avaliação de feridas: concordância interobservador

Objetivo: Verificar a concordância interobservador sobre avaliação de feridas utilizando a ferramenta TIME. Métodos: Estudo de caráter exploratório, não experimental com delineamento transversal e abordagem quantitativa. A população foi constituída por graduandos do oitavo, nono e décimo período do curso de bacharelado em enfermagem, matriculados no segundo semestre do ano de 2018. Aula expositiva-dialogada sobre a ferramenta TIME foi elaborada e posta aos participantes. Os graduandos foram direcionados ao hospital de ensino para socialização de casos clínicos e avaliação individual de dez lesões de pele com características clínicas diferentes, no paciente hospitalizado utilizando a ferramenta TIME. Para identificar a concordância entre os discentes na utilização da ferramenta TIME, foi utilizado o coeficiente de concordância Kappa. Resultados: Prevaleceu o número de graduandos que estavam cursando o nono período do curso (80%), sexo feminino (80%), idade média (23,2 anos). Obteve-se que, considerando a classificação Kappa, houve excelência (K= 1,0) na concordância interobservador em todas as etapas da ferramenta TIME. Conclusão: Infere-se que a ferramenta TIME assegura concordância na avaliação de feridas entre graduandos de enfermagem que estão cursando os últimos períodos de curso, podendo contribuir com a melhoria da qualidade do cuidado de enfermagem.

TIME wound assessment tool: interobserver agreement

Objective: To verify interobserver agreement on wound evaluation using the TIME tool. Methods: Exploratory, nonexperimental study with cross-sectional design and quantitative approach. The population consisted of undergraduate students from the eighth, ninth and tenth periods of the baccalaureate nursing course, enrolled in the second semester of 2018. An expositive-dialogued class about the TIME tool was prepared and presented to the participants. The students were directed to the teaching hospital for socialization of clinical cases and individual evaluation of ten skin lesions with different clinical characteristics in the hospitalized patient, using the TIME tool. To identify the agreement between the students, when using the TIME tool, the Kappa agreement coefficient was used. Results: The number of undergraduates who were attending the ninth period of the course (80%), female (80%), and average age (23.2 years) prevailed. Considering the Kappa classification, there was excellence (K = 1.0) in interobserver agreement in all stages of the TIME tool. Conclusion: It is inferred that the TIME tool ensures agreement in the evaluation of wounds among nursing undergraduates who are attending the last course periods, and may contribute to improving the quality of nursing care.

Analysis Trade Integration of Indonesia and Turkey Non-Oil Sector

Development of the economy and improve the world economy which is increasing in the future. This causes an increase in trade in the same sector (Intra-Industrial Trade). In addition, promoting trade that focuses on fluctuating and unstable pushes Indonesia to further enhance its export competitiveness through market diversification, encouraging to minimize export fluctuations towards the main export destination countries. Commitment to a market diversification strategy has made Turkey an alternative export destination. The purpose of this research is to study the great integration of trade and export dynamics in the non-oil sector between Indonesia and Turkey during the period 2001-2016. Analysis using Gruble Lloyd Index (GLI) shows that the intensity of trade between Indonesia and Turkey is more in the category of Weak Integration (Weak Integration). While the analysis of the Constant Market Share (CMS) shows that each period is fluctuating, in the first period, the second period, the second period, the fourth period, the questioning period, the sixth period, the ninth period, the tenth period, and the second positive period, while in the seventh period , the eighth period, the eleventh period, the fourteenth period, and the twelve period of negative export value changes.

150th Anniversary of the Periodic Table of the Chemical Elements

The year 2019 was proclaimed by the UN and UNESCO as the International Year of the Periodic Table of the Chemical Elements; by its beginning, the seventh period of the Table was already filled with new, very heavy elements. According to theoretical predictions, isotopes of superheavy elements with increased stability form a large zone in the form of an island with a vertex located near the “magic” numbers of protons Z = 114 and neutrons N = 184 on the nuclide map. New elements with atomic numbers from 114 to 118 were synthesized in the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR, Dubna), in 2000–2012 by fusion reactions of target nuclei (heavy actinide isotopes (Z = 94–98)) with bombarding 48Ca ions. The experimental results suggest that there may exist nuclei or elements with atomic numbers greater than 118 and mass greater than 300 amu. A new experimental complex, the Factory of Superheavy Elements (SHEF), was created in Dubna to study the nuclear and electronic structures of new elements and their chemical properties and to synthesize elements from the beginning of the eighth period of the Periodic Table. A new DC-280 accelerator has already been launched in the SHEF, and experiments are planned to begin. The introductory and final parts of my speech at the scientific session of the General Meeting of the Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences are related to the discovery of the Periodic Law published by D.I. Mendeleev 150 years ago. The action of this law in the properties of the heaviest elements represents today one of the most urgent and interesting problems of the natural sciences.

O conhecimento dos acadêmicos de medicina das instituições particulares de Belém sobre o acidente vascular encefálico

Objetivo: Avaliar o conhecimento dos acadêmicos de Medicina de instituições particulares sobre o acidente vascular encefálico. Métodos: Estudo transversal, analítico e quantitativo, no qual, foram aplicados questionários com perguntas diretas e respostas objetivas aos acadêmicos de Medicina das faculdades particulares do Município de Belém do Pará, cursando do 1º ao 8º período. Resultados: Foram analisados 301 questionários, sendo 160 do CESUPA e 141 da UNIFAMAZ. A diferença entre o número de alunos das instituições deve-se pelo fato que no Centro Universitário UNIFAMAZ o número de alunos por semestre é menor quando comparado ao CESUPA. Entretanto, tal diferença não interferiu na validade da análise estatística. Verificou-se um bom desempenho geral dos alunos perante a análise estatística, havendo diferença significativa apenas na questão que abordava a conduta a ser seguida nos casos de AVE. Conclusão: Os resultados demonstraram que os acadêmicos de Medicina das duas instituições apresentaram conhecimento significativo e equivalente sobre o acidente vascular encefálico.
