This commentary article is important and relevant, as organizational culture and innovation are essential to health organization's performance and viability in a dynamic and competitive setting. Organizational culture is the unquenchable drive that propels an organization's growth and serves as its soul. However, effective internal innovation management is one way that managers and organizations may foster innovation. Health organizations that prioritize service and technological innovation while simultaneously cultivating an appropriate innovation culture to establish a sustainable internal consensus that stimulates innovation are the most inventive. Individuals as well as groups have a deeply ingrained culture that influences how they think and behave, causing health organizations to operate in a way that is rational and consistent.

R&D&I support system for innovatively active enterprises

RDI is an important area of innovative growth of domestic economic entities. Isolation on the internal system of innovation management may not lead to the results planned within the framework of key strategic documents at the state level. Expanding its boundaries and involving external participants in solving problems of innovation will become the basis for creating a powerful integrated structure that will provide an innovation lift and scientific and technological renewal of enterprises. A scientifically based approach to the formation of a balanced system of collaborative innovation management is the key to the sustainable functioning of innovatively active enterprises. The purpose of this study is to formulate scientific and practical recommendations for creating an RDI system to support innovatively active enterprises to ensure the effectiveness of their functioning in the context of global economic challenges. In the process of achieving this goal, the following methods of scientific knowledge were used: structural analysis and synthesis, system analysis, generalization and description, modeling. Based on the results of the study, a structural and functional model of the RDI system for supporting innovatively active enterprises was developed, in contrast to existing ones, which creates a platform for balanced innovative development and increased competitiveness through the coherent organization of integrated innovation chains and effective innovation management in a single synergetic environment. Scientific conclusions and proposals are of high importance for the development of theoretical and methodological principles of the theory of innovation, management of innovation activities and solving problems of innovatively active enterprises of the Russian Federation. The study is based on modern works of leading domestic and foreign economists. The RDI system of support for innovatively active enterprises creates the basis for their sustainable functioning under conditions of sanctions restrictions and economic turmoil. The author has determined the vector of development of domestic enterprises to ensure the effective implementation of the mission and achievement of strategic goals.

A Machine Learning-Based Approach to Identifying Key Innovation Determinants for Industrial Firms: The Case of the Pharmaceutical Industry in China

With abundant resources consumed by innovation practices, it is of strategic importance for industrial firms to identify key determinants of innovation performance from both internal and external environments for better and effective innovation management. To this end, this article develops a new machine learning-based approach to examine a variety of factors influencing innovation performance. In particular, a two-process modeling approach is developed to build machine learning models efficiently for identifying key internal and external innovation factors. With extensive experiments using data collected from China's pharmaceutical industry, the approach identifies a set of key internal and external innovation factors and their best configurations in terms of two commonly used innovation performance measures. The findings enable pharmaceutical firms and local governments in China to manage innovation efforts and formulate management strategies for promoting industrial innovation. The article contributes to innovation management research by providing an objective and data-oriented approach for comprehensively exploring internal and external innovation factors and establishing their relationships with expected innovation performance. Although the approach is exemplified by China's pharmaceutical industry and the results cannot be generalized, it has general applicability to other industries or countries.

Study on the impact of digital transformation on green competitive advantage: The role of green innovation and government regulation.

Digital transformation enables small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to reduce or overcome their reliance on resources and energy, thereby minimizing their environmental impact and providing them with sustainable green competitive advantages. However, the reasons for this phenomenon are not yet clear. To further investigate this issue, we selected 391 Chinese SMEs to examine the relationships among green transformation, green innovation, government regulation, and green competitive advantages. Green innovation includes green product innovation and green process innovation, while government regulation includes incentive regulation, constraint regulation, and guidance regulation. The empirical results show that digital transformation can enhance SMEs' green competitive advantages. Additionally, the hypothesized mediating effect of green product innovation and green process innovation between digital transformation and green competitive advantages is supported, while the moderating effect of incentive regulation, constraint regulation, and guidance regulation on the relationship between digital transformation and green product innovation and green process innovation is also confirmed. The findings of this study may contribute to more effective management of digital transformation and green innovation in SMEs, thereby promoting their development.

Сучасні технології управління інноваційною діяльністю у сфері надрокористування

The article examines the development of modern technologies for managing innovation activities in the sphere of subsoil use (SSU). It is noted that economic activity in the sphere of subsoil use is quite specific, which requires the use of methods of effective management of natural resources, which will ensure their preservation for future generations. In turn, an effective innovation management system can become a useful instrument in modern competition and an incentive for the development of the subsoil use sector in Ukraine. It is noted that today, for the development of modern technologies for managing innovation activities in the sphere of subsoil use, it is necessary to improve the organizational components of the management system and introduce new technologies and decision-making instruments. The general sequence of the innovation process and the principal conditions for the organization of innovation activity in the sphere of subsoil use are defined. Definitions of the principal conditions for the organization of management of innovation activity and its main characteristics in the SSU have proved that in the process of its implementation, all processes have certain features, as well as certain restrictions that are associated with the specifics of this area. The priority directions of management of innovation activity in the sphere of subsoil use in accordance with their programs of innovative development are determined. A system of management of innovation activity in the SSU has been proposed. It is determined that the management of innovation activity in the SSU is determined by the formation of the infrastructure of research and innovation-investment activities; introduction of generation, selection and use of innovations; identification and implementation of new market opportunities for the formation of innovative management projects in the SSU. It is concluded that modern technologies for managing innovation activities in the sphere of subsoil use should be aimed at finding innovations in the management system of SSU, which in the future will provide an opportunity to combine all types of innovations and achieve a synergistic effect in this sphere.

ACCOUNTING AND INFORMATIONAL SUPPORT FOR FINANCING AND MANAGEMENT OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES

Introduction. The development, financing, and implementation of innovative projects require the organization of effective innovation management, with the primary source of information being the accounting of innovative activities. The purpose of the article is to optimize theoretical principles and enhance the methodology of preparing and using accounting information for managing innovative activities, as well as financing innovative projects. Results. The interconnection of operational, investment, and financial activities of enterprises within the innovation environment has been substantiated, encompassing the creation, implementation, and realization of innovations. The positioning of accounting information about the operational, investment, and financial activities of enterprises in the management and financing of innovative processes has been investigated. In order to ascertain the substantive content of accounting information about the innovative activities of enterprises, a classification of its objects from the perspective of management, accounting, and financing has been carried out. For the effective accounting of diverse and variable innovative objects, the utilization of universal principles for the preparation and application of accounting information has been proposed. It has been demonstrated that adhering to fundamental provisions ensures an efficient integrated interaction between accounting, management, and financing of enterprises' innovative activities. The distinctive features of forming and using accounting information within an integrated system of accounting and management of innovative processes have been identified. Conclusions. The effective preparation and utilization of accounting information, utilizing the provided suggestions and recommendations, in the management and financing of innovative activities ensures the realization of its goals and the attainment of positive financial outcomes. Further research is needed for the methodology of accounting for variable innovative objects with the preparation of reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Manajemen Inovasi Pendidikan dalam Perspektif Sekolah Efektif

This research aims to analyze and clarify the management of educational innovation from an effective school perspective. This scientific article research method uses systematic library observation with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items For Systematic Review and Meta-analysis) model by applying complete and detailed steps in carrying out library observations of journal articles. In this case, a literature search was carried out, both in the form of national literature and international literature, using the Scoopus, Emerald and Google Scholar databases. In the initial stage of the article search, 150 articles were identified, then screened and screened to produce 85 articles. Then feasibility or feasibility was carried out and produced 45 articles. Then the final stage was carried out by producing 25 articles. The result of this scientific article is that effective management of educational innovation from a school perspective is a systematic process that involves planning, implementation, evaluation and further action of school resources in realizing educational goals efficiently and effectively. Effective schools have a number of characteristics such as a consistent vision and mission, strong leadership, planned programs and curriculum, ongoing evaluation, supportive facilities, and active involvement of students, teachers, parents and the community. As well as realizing innovation in managing changes and new developments in the field of education. This is in accordance with school goals through the rational and systematic use of all school resources.

Reducing uncertainty associated with managing technology innovation

This research addresses the challenge of managing uncertainty associated with technology innovation, a process vital for economic growth and organisational sustainability. The study aims to offer novel insights on reducing uncertainty across the different stages of the innovation process by identifying interrelationships between technology innovation success factors. To achieve this, interpretive structural modelling (ISM) and MICMAC (a French acronym, which means “cross-impact matrix-multiplication applied to classification”) were applied as research methodologies, and the directional relationships among success factors in the four stages (concept development, technology development, product development and implementation) of the technology innovation process were determined. Data were collected from a research and technology organisation that specialises in technology innovation. The evaluation revealed essential interconnections and rankings of factors within each innovation stage, and that the interrelationships between the factors vary across the different innovation stages. The original contribution of this study to innovation theory lies in demonstrating that the same success factors manifest differently across various innovation stages. This suggests the necessity of tailored management strategies for each stage, highlighting the need for a stage-specific approach in innovation management practices. Additionally, in terms of practical implications, this research aids managers by providing guidance on identifying the most influential factors and the varying order in which these factors should be prioritised for effective innovation management. The implications of this research extend to practical applications in the field of technology innovation by enabling a better understanding of the varying significance of success factors across different stages. Ultimately, this insight can assist in refining future policy frameworks and strategic planning in technology-oriented organisations. It is recommended that the ISM/MICMAC approach applied to determine the interrelationships and ranking between the success factors for each stage could be formalised into a technique for assessing technology innovation management to reduce uncertainty.

Relationship between process innovation, entrepreneurial passion and performance of pharmaceutical manufacturing firms in Kenya

The study explores the impact of entrepreneurial passion on process innovation and firm performance, based on self-efficacy theory. Relevant hypotheses were proposed, and the promotion mechanism of entrepreneurial passion on process innovation and enterprise performance was analyzed. A survey of 150 Kenyan firm owners/managers was conducted, and the results showed that process innovation has a significant positive effect on performance. Entrepreneurial passion is a significant moderator of the relationship between process innovation and performance, with firms with higher levels of passion achieving greater performance from implementing process innovation. This suggests that entrepreneurial passion can guide entrepreneurial persistence and promote enterprise performance by stimulating positive emotions and creativity. The study suggests that effective management of process innovation can enhance performance and encourage more entrepreneurial behavior in competitive business environments.

Innovation Management Model for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs): Georgia

Abstract The present article explores the internal and external factors that enable the implementation of innovative practices within Georgian SMEs and the successful management of innovation and growth. We posit that a well-functioning and effective innovation management model is a prerequisite for growth and sustainability. The research aims to propose a conceptual model of innovation management and assess whether the application of innovation practices impacts the company’s growth in the targeted sample. The interpretation of results is based on examining the phenomenon and synthesis of theoretical information and data obtained from the online questionnaire and focus group. The data reported here appear to support the assumption that innovation management and a good combination of human and financial resources shall be the basis upon which the growth is implemented. As there is still a scarcity of research on innovation management practices in SMEs in developing countries, notably in Georgia, the present study shall contribute to the business and innovation management literature and shall develop recommendations and suggestions for start-up managers, entrepreneurs, policymakers or other interested parties. Consequently, the present research shall attempt to combine theoretical and empirical substantiations and create practical implications.

Роль инноваций в стратегическом развитии российских промышленных корпораций

In modern conditions, the strategic development of Russian industrial corporations is unthinkable without their innovative activities that require an integrated approach to implementing all types of innovations. Successful innovations provide businesses with a significant advantage over the competitors by increasing the loyalty of consumers, business partners and investors, strengthening leadership in the industry, expanding market share and developing new markets, improving corporate image and financial performance. Among the problems in the innovation activities of the Russian companies there is mentioned the slow build-up of the resource base for innovation; growth of innovation activity below normal; noticeable lagging behind European countries in terms of the specific weight of domestic innovative products; low speed of innovative developments with a steady disregard for collaboration with external partners and the purchase of ready-made new technological solutions from third party companies. It has been found that the high cost of innovations and the lack of companies' own funds for their implementation have a restraining effect on the innovation activity. Analysis of the best innovative experience of companies allowed to identify the key success factors of innovation activities that should be taken into account in solving these problems. In the list of such factors are the development of its own innovative strategy with an ambitious goal setting; an integrated approach to the implementation of innovations and the maximum use by companies of their capabilities - from generating ideas to conducting systematic work with external business partners; providing innovation with the necessary resources and creating an organizational structure that ensures a more efficient organization of the innovation process; organizing an effective innovation management system in order to rationalize it; introducing a strong corporate culture and motivation system.

JUSTIFICATION OF THE SYSTEM OF INDICATORS FOR MANAGEMENT OF INNOVATIVE AND INVESTMENT DEVELOPMENT OF RAILWAY TRANSPORT

Purpose. Production and economic activity and the formation of the organizational and economic mechanism of the functioning of enterprises of the track complex of the multi-branch railway transport system, based on the need for scientifically based planning, based on the need to meet the requirements proposed by the enterprises of operational activity. In the new conditions of infrastructure operation, one more requirement has been added - the establishment of a non-discriminatory fee for access to infrastructure facilities, which supports the principle of ensuring the price competitiveness of railway transport. This means the need to develop methodological provisions for determining estimated prices for the use of transport infrastructure, which are based on a detailed study and analysis of the cost structure of railway infrastructure enterprises. The purpose of this article is to develop and substantiate a certain system of indicators that would objectively reflect the essence and effectiveness of managing the innovative and investment development of railway transport in modern conditions. Method. Research methodology involves the use of methods: empirical research (comparison, observation), theoretical research (ascending from the abstract to the concrete), general scientific methods (abstraction and concretization, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, analogy), etc. The results. The key elements of costs of railway transport enterprises have been determined. Only with the implementation of a joint mechanism for planning operational costs of railway transport enterprises and operator companies is it possible to solve the complex task of reducing costs, reducing cost, increasing the volume of transportation, effective management of innovation and investment development, and increasing the competitiveness of railway transport. Scientific novelty. an algorithm for the use of tools for substantiating the system of indicators for the management of innovation and investment development of railway transport was developed. Practical significance. The originality and practical value of the research lies in the fact that the article systematizes the key performance indicators of railway transport enterprises, which affect their productivity and efficiency.

The Role of Innovation Management System ISO 56002 Standard in the Competitive Edge toward Sustainability

In today’s current business world, innovation management has discovered a significant competitive edge. ISO 56002:2019 Innovation Management System is a key to standing out from the competition with this newest international standard. The ISO 56002:2019 guiding framework assists businesses in improving their capacity to manage innovation activities, adapt to volatility, enhance consumer satisfaction, involve and motivate staff, and boost corporate reputation and revenue. The purpose of this paper is to describe and introduce the ISO 56002 standard as the landscape of providing an effective innovation management system to achieve sustainable development, as well as their relationship. As a result, this research investigates a theoretical method to show the link between these three notions. According to the findings of the study, companies should be worried about implementing the new ISO 56002 standard, especially if they already have the ISO9001 quality management system in place, to accelerate the innovation process. Organizations must also have a robust innovation system to implement the pillars of sustainable development.

Smart Mobility and Smart Climate: An Illustrative Case in Seville, Spain

In recent years, smart city projects and initiatives have surged around the globe. Yet, a wide range of factors determine the success or failure of such initiatives and there is still a long road ahead in terms of effective governance and innovation management. In such a context, this study explores the specific case of PCT Cartuja (science and technology park in Seville, Spain)-analyzing several smart-mobility and smart-climate solutions from a Triple Helix Model standpoint. The authors tap into multiple information sources to describe the case and key implications of smart initiatives for both theory and management are discussed. This paper shows the current progress as well as the remaining challenges to illustrate how public-private partnerships and conflict can be effectively managed.

Improvements activity of innovation: experience, challenges and opportunities in Nigeria

Technology and innovation are important concepts in improving efficiency, productivity and competitiveness in companies. The effective management of knowledge, science, technology and innovation is a determinant of competitiveness for companies, business and countries. In other side R+D is a very important activity for the economic development in the age of the digital economy and Industry 4.0. R&D and technology innovations have been proved to positively correlate with profitability in developed countries. This article assessed the actual status of these activities on the enterprises in Nigerian; experiences, challenges, strategies and opportunities to improve them in innovative sector. Data were collected from the textbooks and the internet. The research showed that the governments do it some efforts to improve the innovation. Some strategies point to management of knowledge and creativity, increase the finance of the projects, and protection of intellectual right property. The experts, institutions, banks and government need to create some strategies to do it more available and to support innovation activities. This is the most important challenge.

ИННОВАЦИИ КАК МЕТОД ОПЕРАТИВНОГО УПРАВЛЕНИЯ ПРЕДПРИЯТИЕМ

Goal. The purpose of the article is to study effective innovation management to create a favorable business environment that promotes the development and commercialization of ideas. To do this, the company must carry out horizontal and vertical management. Horizontal management involves the integration of various functional areas and stakeholders in the innovation process, while vertical management involves the coordination of strategic planning, organizational structure, access to resources and cultural aspects. Through a specific innovation management mechanism and approach, the company strives to implement innovations at all levels of the organization, involving all personnel in them, providing full-fledged innovative work time and creating global innovations within the enterprise. Tasks. This article defines the expediency of creating an innovative model based on mutually beneficial partnership with consumers, research institutions, universities, suppliers, distributors and even competitors. Within the framework of such a model, enterprises exchange innovative resources and mutually beneficial conditions. Methodology. The authors used such research methods as statistical analysis, observation, generalization, description and graphical modeling. Results. The article presents a classification of innovations based on their level of openness, including closed innovations, cooperative innovations, open innovations and innovations of a network organization. It is argued that for the successful commercialization of ideas, the management of an enterprise’s innovation activities must simultaneously take into account several aspects, such as strategy, organization, resources, culture and others, based on the external innovation environment of the enterprise, and contribute to its development. Conclusions. This article presents arguments in favor of using methods of operational innovation management in enterprises. It has been proven that the process of inventing and creating new products and services is only the first stage of innovation, while commercialization is a key part of the entire innovation process. In the process of technological innovation, business enterprises use both internal and external additional innovative resources to achieve innovative development goals. Companies have the opportunity to commercialize innovative products using both internal technology channels and with the involvement of external partners.

Sustainable supply chain management and green technologies: a bibliometric review of literature.

To attain ecological sustainability and transition to sustainable supply chain management (SSCM), effective technological innovation (TI) and solid waste management (SWM), as likely impending resources, are essential components. From 2000 through 2021, a detailed map of SSCMs in the context of TI and systematic history will be created, highlighting the most significant research themes and trends, primary features, development, and possibly relevant areas for future study. Due to utilizing bibliometric analysis, text mining, and content analytics methodologies, the following concerns were addressed: (1) How has SSCM research progressed over time in the TI domain? (2) Which SSCM research areas and trends receive the most attention in the TI domain? Additionally, (3) what are the research directions for SSCM in the context of TI? As a result, bibliometric networks were developed and examined using 983 journal articles from the Scopus database to highlight the substantial body of literature. As a result, SSCM has been divided into five crucial study themes: (i) transition to TI, (ii) SSCM in closed-loop supply chains, (iii) municipal solid waste management (MSWM), (iv) environmental consequences and life-cycle evaluation, and (v) policymakers and practitioners in SSCM can use the SSCM research landscape and its primary highlight patterns to guide and add in the TI. Considering SSCM research as a way to reduce waste, future study directions are also suggested.
