The impact of SiC particles on the microstructure, mechanical properties, and fracture morphology of magnesium alloy brazed joints was investigated. The brazing experiments of AZ91+AZ91, AZ91+SiCp/AZ91, and SiCp/AZ91+SiCp/AZ91 were carried out under the same technological conditions by using the self-designed special filler metal for magnesium matrix composites. The impact of SiC particles on the microstructure and mechanical properties of brazed joints was analyzed. The addition of Ti can effectively enhance the wettability of filler metal on SiC particles. The shear strength of SiCp/AZ91+SiCp/AZ91 joints is 76.0MPa. The shear strength of the joint is 43.4% higher than that of AZ91+ AZ91.
