The Effect of Varying Concentrations and Soaking Time of Moringa Oleifera Leaf Extract on the Bioavailability of Nutritional Content and Antioxidant Response of Breadfruit Flour (Artocarpus Communis) as Raw Material for Making MP-ASI Biscuits. The first 2 years are characterized by very rapid physical and social development and growth which is influenced by food and nutritional intake. The aim is to analyze the effect of variations in concentration and soaking time of Moringa leaf extract on the bioavailability of nutritional content in making MP-ASI biscuits. The research used a multi-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Factor x variation of Moringa leaf extract concentration 0%; 10%; 20% and 30% and the y factor is the soaking time for 6 hours; 12 hours and 18 hours, each treatment was repeated 3 times. Data Analysis Using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). significant differences in treatment in DMRT analysis. The research results show that the treatment with a concentration of Moringa leaf extract of 30% with a soaking time of 18 hours because the average shows an increase in the antioxidant response and good nutritional content, the antioxidant response is 77.51 ppm (strong), vitamin A 356.08 μg/100, iron (Fe) 9.03 mgFe/ 100. For protein, carbohydrates, fat, water and ash, the best results were obtained from a combination treatment of 30% Moringa leaf extract with a soaking time of 6 hours, namely, 10.13% protein, 41.43% carbohydrates, 8.71% fat, 4.95% water and 1.64% ash. There is an influence of variations in concentration and soaking time on the response of antioxidants, protein, carbohydrates, fat, in MP-ASI biscuits as shown by the ρ value 0.000 < α 0.05.

RENDEMEN EKSTRAK ETANOL HERBA RUMPUT AKAR WANGI (Polygala paniculata L) PADA PERBANDINGAN KONSENTRASI PELARUT

Rumput akar wangi (Polygala paniculata (L)) belongs to the Polygalaceae family. One of the extract yields is influenced by solvent concentration. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of variations in concentration on the yield of Polygala paniculata extract and the groups of compounds in the extract. This research includes determination, collection, and plant preparation, processing of Polygala paniculata simplicia, extraction, screening, and determination of yield. In this study, 50 grams of Polygala paniculata powder were extracted with different solvent concentrations, namely 70% and 95% ethanol using the maceration method. Replication was carried out on each solvent three times. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods and processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) tools. The results of phytochemical screening showed that the extract contained flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and terpenoids. The calculation results of the ethanol extract of Polygala paniculata were 70% ethanol (17.77% ± 1.34) and 95% ethanol (12.59% ± 0.86). The SPSS test results on the Independent Samples Test show that there is a significant difference (p < 0.05). The highest yield of Polygala paniculata extract was obtained using 70% ethanol for filtration.

ZnO semiconductors are good photocatalysts for degrading volatile organic pollutants into CO2 and H2O. Activated carbon has a high absorption capacity, and contains amorphous carbon. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the concentration of ZnO on activated carbon on the band gap after impregnation. Determination of Bandgap value was determined using UV-DRS with the Tauc Plot method. The effect of variations in ZnO concentration on activated carbon on the band gap after impregnation shows the band gap value. The change in band gap value is caused by electron resonance when electrons from ZnO interact with polycyclic aromatic activated carbon. At the 20% variation there is a widening of the band gap value caused by a short wavelength shift. The conclusion obtained is that the characteristics of the AC-ZnO catalyst have band gap values ​​for each variation, namely 2.69 eV, 2.7 eV, 2.97 eV, 4.85 eV and 3.0 eV. The band gap values ​​increased with increasing concentrations of ZnO 5%, 10% and 15%.

Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using aqueous extract of Citrus sinensis peels and evaluation of their antibacterial efficacy

Abstract The resistance of microorganisms towards antibiotics remains a big challenge in medicine. Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) received attention recently for their characteristic nanosized features and their ability to display antimicrobial activities. This work reports the synthesis of AgNPs using the Citrus sinensis peels extract in their aqueous, mild, and less hazardous conditions. The effect of concentration variation (1%, 2%, and 3%) of the plant extracts on the size and shape of the AgNPs was investigated. The antimicrobial activities were tested against gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus and gram-negative Klebsiella pneumoniae. Absorption spectra confirmed the synthesis by the surface Plasmon resonance peaks in the range 400–450 nm for all the AgNPs. FTIR spectra confirmed that Citrus sinensis peels extract acted as both reducing and surface passivating agent for the synthesized AgNPs. TEM revealed spherical AgNPs with average size of 12 nm for 3% concentration as compared to the agglomeration at 1% and 2%. All the AgNPs synthesized using Citrus sinensis peels extracts (1%, 2%, and 3%) exhibited antimicrobial activity against both gram-positive and negative bacteria. These results indicated a simple, fast, and inexpensive synthesis of silver nanoparticles using the Citrus sinensis peels extract that has promising antibacterial activity.

Evaluasi Pengaruh Konsentrasi Pati Biji Cempedak (Artocarpus champeden) sebagai Bahan Pengisi pada Formulasi Tablet Paracetamol

Cempedak plants are widely distributed in Indonesia, one of which is Kalimantan. Cempedak is a tropical plant, so its potential can be used as an additive in the manufacture of pharmaceutical preparations. Previous studies used cempedak seed starch as a binding agent in tablet formulations. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in concentration and optimum concentration of Cempedak seed starch (Artocarpus champeden) as a filler for Paracetamol tablets. The study used a True Experimental Design design with a posttest-only control group design. Making tablets using the wet granulation method. Data analysis used the one-way ANOVA test followed by the LSD test and the Kruskal-Wallis H test which continued with the Mann Whitney Test as a derivative test of the one-way ANOVA. Granule evaluation includes organoleptic, flow properties, tapping test, and stationary angle test. The results of the evaluation of the granules produced granules produced from each formulation are in accordance with the requirements. Tablet evaluation included organoleptic, uniformity in weight, the hardness of tablet, friability, and disintegration time. The results of the tablet evaluation showed that the maximum concentration of cempedak seeds was found in F1 because it showed the evaluation results that were in accordance with the requirements. In evaluating the uniformity of weight and hardness of tablets with the Kruskal Wallis H test and the Mann Whitney test, the results show that there are differences in each formula with a P-value <0.05. The results of the evaluation of tablet friability and disintegration time with one-way ANOVA test and LSD test showed differences in each formula with a P-value <0.05. Cempedak seed starch (Artocarpus champeden) can be used as a filler in the loading of Paracetamol tablets by the wet granulation method.

MxOy/M/graphene coated multi-shelled nano-sphere as Bi-functional electrocatalysts for hydrogen and oxygen evolution

Multi-shelled NiO/Ni/Graphene and Co3O4/Co/Graphene nano-spheres for high performance electrocatalytic activity in water electrolysis have been synthesized using multi-step solvothermal process. The synthesis process was derived by Metal-Organic-Framework (MOF) with the successive carbonization and oxidation treatments, which results into the formation of NiO/Ni and Co3O4/Co nano-crystalline particles with a coverage of graphene shell. In the present work, the effect of variation in concentration of polyvinyl pyrrole (PVP) during synthesis has also been executed. XRD studies were confirmed the formation of Co0 and Co3O4 in Co3O4/Co/Graphene sample and Ni0 and NiO in NiO/Ni/Graphene. In both cases, the surface area values showed inclining nature with increase in the amount of PVP, till 1.21 g and 1.31 g during their synthesis for nickel and cobalt, respectively. Moreover, the nano-materials could not sustain their spherical shape above the optimal concentration of PVP during synthesis. The optimal concentration of PVP has been determined as 1.21 and 1.31 g in the nickel and cobalt nano-sphere formation, respectively. The SEM and TEM images have affirmed the morphological transformations from the MOFs to MxOy/M/graphene structures. The average diameter of MOFs got shrank down from 60 – 70 nm to 20–30 nm in MxOy/M/graphene nanospheres. It get decreased above the optimum concentration of PVP. The highest surface area value reached to 151.3 m2/g in the Co3O4/Co/graphene prepared with 1.31 g of PVP, whereas same with nickel it touched to maximum value of 146.5 m2/g with PVP concentration of 1.21 g. Both the materials were exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity in HER and OER during water electrolysis in acidic media, however, Cobalt catalysts performed better in hydrogen production. The anodic and cathodic peak current density has reached maximum value of 50 and 30 A cm−2 in presence of cobalt catalysts (with 1.31 g of PVP). The performance of Co3O4/Co/graphene nano-sphere (1.31 g PVP) is evaluated up to 10 A cm−2, whereas this value is only analyzed as 3 A cm−2 in the case of cobalt non-sphere electrocatalysts during anodic polarization. All the hollow spherical nano-electrocatalysts have shown the electrocatalytic stability during 84 h long potentiometric study.

Effects of Concentration Variations on the Performance and Microbial Community in Microbial Fuel Cell Using Swine Wastewater

The variation of substrate concentration in anode chamber directly affects the power generation efficiency and decontamination performance of microbial fuel cell (MFC). In this study, three concentrations of swine wastewater with 800 mg/L, 1600 mg/L and 2500 mg/L were selected as substrates, and the performance of MFC and response characteristics of anode microbial community were investigated. The results show that the concentration of a selected substrate is positively correlated with the output voltage of MFC and chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal rate. The microbial community diversity in the anode chamber and the performance of battery can be significantly affected when concentration changes in different ways, which helps to selectively cultivate the adaptable dominant bacteria to enhance the stability and decontamination performance of MFC. The community structure of anodic biofilm is mainly composed of Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes, Chloroflexi and Spirochaetae. These findings are meaningful to improve the treatment effects of swine wastewater and can help to find out the mechanism of varying concentration that influences the production of microorganisms in MFC.

Experimental and Theoretical Study of Pinostrobin as Copper Corrosion Inhibitor at 1 M H2SO4 Medium

The effect of variations in concentration and temperature on the efficiency of pinostrobin corrosion inhibition of copper in 1M H2SO4 was studied using an experimental and theoretical approach. Pinostrobin was isolated from the Boesenbergia rotunda L rhizome and was tested for corrosion inhibition of copper in acidic medium. Variations in the concentration of 300 ppm, 400 ppm, and 500 ppm and temperature (308 K, 318 K, and 328 K) were carried out in the weight loss method of corrosion inhibition test. Pinostrobin crystals were isolated with a yield of 57.65 %, a melting point of 98.5 °C and with a purity of 100 %. The optimum corrosion inhibition efficiency of pinostrobin is 65.71 % at a concentration of 500 ppm and a temperature of 328 K. The activation energy value of Ea < 80 kJ.mol−1 indicates the adsorption of pinostrobin on copper surfaces is physical and spontaneously ΔG°ads < -20 kJ.mol−1. The effect of substituent on the efficiency of corrosion inhibition from pinostrobin was studied using density functional theory. The addition of NH2 increased the efficiency of corrosion inhibition to 73.07 %, whereas the addition of NO2 substituents decreased the efficiency of inhibition to 60.97 %. Experimental and theoretical studies have a good correlation in explaining the efficiency of corrosion inhibition from pinostrobin.

An electrodiffusive, ion conserving Pinsky-Rinzel model with homeostatic mechanisms.

In most neuronal models, ion concentrations are assumed to be constant, and effects of concentration variations on ionic reversal potentials, or of ionic diffusion on electrical potentials are not accounted for. Here, we present the electrodiffusive Pinsky-Rinzel (edPR) model, which we believe is the first multicompartmental neuron model that accounts for electrodiffusive ion concentration dynamics in a way that ensures a biophysically consistent relationship between ion concentrations, electrical charge, and electrical potentials in both the intra- and extracellular space. The edPR model is an expanded version of the two-compartment Pinsky-Rinzel (PR) model of a hippocampal CA3 neuron. Unlike the PR model, the edPR model includes homeostatic mechanisms and ion-specific leakage currents, and keeps track of all ion concentrations (Na+, K+, Ca2+, and Cl-), electrical potentials, and electrical conductivities in the intra- and extracellular space. The edPR model reproduces the membrane potential dynamics of the PR model for moderate firing activity. For higher activity levels, or when homeostatic mechanisms are impaired, the homeostatic mechanisms fail in maintaining ion concentrations close to baseline, and the edPR model diverges from the PR model as it accounts for effects of concentration changes on neuronal firing. We envision that the edPR model will be useful for the field in three main ways. Firstly, as it relaxes commonly made modeling assumptions, the edPR model can be used to test the validity of these assumptions under various firing conditions, as we show here for a few selected cases. Secondly, the edPR model should supplement the PR model when simulating scenarios where ion concentrations are expected to vary over time. Thirdly, being applicable to conditions with failed homeostasis, the edPR model opens up for simulating a range of pathological conditions, such as spreading depression or epilepsy.

Effect of Concentration Variation on Optical and Structural Properties of TiO2 Thin Films

Concentrations in weight percent (5- 25 wt %) of TiO2 films used to optimize the film formation. The TiO2 films on glass substrates successfully obtained by spin-coating process using TiO2 nanopowder as precursor. Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) equipped with Electron Diffraction X-ray (EDX) and X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) techniques used to characterize the films. The result of electron transport material (TiO2) showed that film prepared from 15 wt % of TiO2 solution and annealed at 450 has highest transmittance at visible light region with indirect optical band gap of 3.24 eV which corresponds to wavelength of 382 nm whereas 20 wt % has indirect band gap of 2.99 nm equivalent to 414.7 nm . The chemical analysis from Electron Diffraction Spectroscopy (EDS) of the material shows titanium and oxygen present at L and K-shells, respectively. The sample crystallized with preferred orientation at (101) from XRD analysis.

Improved microwave absorption behavioral response of Ni/SiC and Ni/SiC/graphene composites: A comparative insight

In the present work, composites of SiC and Ni in various proportions such as 4:1, 1:1 and 1:4 have been developed through the hydrothermal synthesis of Ni microspheres with and without the dispersion of 2.5 wt% graphene nanoplatelets. The effect of concentration variation in SiC and Ni microspheres with and without the dispersion of graphene nanoplatelets on the microwave absorption behavior of the Ni/SiC and Ni/SiC/Graphene composites have been explored in the frequency range 2–18 GHz. A comparative insight into the absorption mechanisms for the developed composites has been discussed for achieving enhanced microwave absorption. It has been observed that the dispersion of graphene nanoplatelets in Ni/SiC composites have achieved enhanced absorption behavior. Graphene nanoplatelets dispersed Ni/SiC composites have achieved a minimum reflection loss (RL) value of −59.15 dB at 1.9 mm absorber thickness for SiC:Ni = 1:4. The corresponding −10 dB absorption bandwidth has been observed to be 4.48 GHz. The realization of improved microwave absorption characteristics for Ni/SiC and Ni/SiC/Graphene composites may be ascribed to the synergistic influence of various attenuation mechanisms.

Thermal enhancement of graphene dispersed emulsifier cutting fluid with different surfactants

Emulsifier cutting fluids like soluble oil, due to their excellent cooling and lubricating properties, are extensively used in industries during manufacturing processes. But they are categorized as hazardous waste by most of the countries. So, its disposal is an economic and environmental concern. This led to research in field of minimum quantity lubrication (MQL), wherein cutting fluids are applied in minute quantities precisely to the cutting zone. Cutting fluids used in MQL should have enhanced cooling and lubricating properties compared to conventional cutting fluid. In the present experimental work, 0.1 wt% of graphene dispersed emulsifier cutting fluids are prepared using different surfactants and thermal conductivity is measured by modified transient plane source method using C-Therm thermal conductivity apparatus and results are compared with base fluid. Best two surfactants are used to prepare 0.3 wt% and 0.5 wt% of graphene dispersed emulsifier cutting fluids by varying the concentration of surfactant. Effect of variation in concentration of surfactant and graphene on thermal conductivity is studied experimentally using C-Therm thermal conductivity apparatus. At higher temperatures, Triton X100 gave better enhancement in thermal conductivity. 0.3 wt% graphene with 0.3 wt% of Triton X100 showed highest enhancement compared to base fluid

Antimicrobial activity of metal and non-metallic nanoparticles from Cyperus rotundus root extract on infectious disease causing pathogens

In the present study, gold nanoparticles (CRnp) has been prepared using aqueous extract of Cyperus rotundus root at room temperature, sunlight, sonication, microwave oven heating and hot air oven method. Effect of concentration variation was studied using microwave-assisted synthesis. Grayish pink colour gold nanoparticles were formed within 5 s in microwave-assisted synthesis. Preliminary phytochemical screening showed the presence of alkaloids, protein and phenolic groups. These metabolites may be the responsible for the formation of gold nanoparticles. Reduced graphene oxide (CRrGO) was prepared using refluxing method and nano composite (CRNC) was prepared using equal ratio (1:1) of CRnp and CRrGO under homogenization method. The prepared CRnp, CRrGO and CRNC were characterized by spectroscopic techniques such as UV–visible spectroscopy, FTIR, XRD, Raman spectroscopy and FESEM. Thermal stability analysis of the CRrGO was carried out using TGA. FESEM results revealed the synthesized CRnp to be spherical in nature with average diameter 15 nm. CRrGO showed flake-like structures with few layers which was further confirmed by FESEM and Raman spectroscopy. The FESEM image of CRNC clearly portrays CRnp to be strongly bound to the surface of CRrGO. Anti-bacterial activity of the synthesized CRnp, CRrGO, CRNC and CRa synthesized nanoparticles to be active against gram negative and gram positive bacteria.

A dynamic model for discharge research of zinc-nickel single flow battery

A two-dimensional transient model for the study of zinc-nickel single flow battery was developed. The model is based on a comprehensive description of mass, momentum and charge transport and conservation, combining with a global kinetic model for reactions involving ions and proton. The model is validated against the experimental date and is used to study the effects of variations in concentration, flow rate, and applied current density. The model results indicate that increasing the initial concentration of hydroxide ions can increase the discharge voltage of the battery without increasing the ions concentration polarization, and higher zinc ion concentration can slightly decrease the discharge voltage. An increase in flow rate leads to a more rapid generation or consumption of the reactant concentration, a faster mass transfer and a more uniform distribution of the ion concentration. However, the effect of flow rate on the discharge voltage of the battery is small and limited. Bulk reaction rate depends on the applied current density. As the applied current density increases by one or two time, ion concentration polarization in reaction zone and the transfer current density almost double or triple and the over-potential increased a fixed amount each time.

Effects of concentration variation on the physical properties of alginate-based substrates and cell behavior in culture.

Nowadays alginate capsules exhibit good biocompatibility and high permeability for nutrients and metabolic wastes making them appealing biomaterial for therapeutic cell encapsulation. Further study of the characteristics of alginate beads which are highly dependent on various environmental conditions to create an optimum microenvironment for cells is also critical. Thus, in this study, the effect of concentration variation on the physical properties of alginate-based beads and entrapped-cells behavior was analyzed. Results showed that the increase of Ca ions concentration brought about the decrease of the average diameter, prolongation of dissolution time, reduction of permeability and swelling, and a rise of crosslinking extent and shrinkage of capsules; while raising sodium alginate concentration had an opposite effect on the diameter and shrinkage. Moreover, the addition of gelatin enhanced the penetration and swelling and slowed down the shrinkage of capsules. And MC3T3-E1 cells enclosed in the particles in which the concentration of calcium chloride, sodium alginate and gelatin was 2.5%, 2.0% and 0.5% (w/v %) had preferable abilities of proliferation and higher expression of alkaline phosphatase. Overall, the ability to tailor this system to support in vitro growth of MC3T3-E1 cells might have significance for the future use of other cell types in regenerative medicine.

Effect of variation in concentration of water and plant part used on physicochemical properties of Yavakṣāra

Introduction: Kṣāra Kalpanā (Ayurvedic alkali formulation) mainly deals with extraction of alkaline material from herb, animals and minerals. Kṣāra preparation mainly has variation in the concentration of Water used for extraction. Objective: To assess the effect of variation in concentration of water and plant part used on the physicochemical parameters of Yavakṣāra (YK). Materials and Methods: YK was prepared by using whole plant with seeds and without seeds. Further these batches were divided depend upon of 4, 6 and 8 times of concentration of water used for extraction. YK was analyzed by using the XRD, AAS-ICP and FTIR. Results: All samples contain Halite crystals of NaCl and Sylvine crystals of KCl. Halite and Sylvine crystals generally formed due to evaporation which is main step in the preparation of Kṣāra Kalpanā. Crystal size of NaCl and KCl is near to nanoparticles (in the range between 90 to 135 nm). YK contains other elements like Fe, Mg and Ca in small amount with slight variance in quantity in different batches. FTIR shows presence of same functional group (C-H of (Alkyl) amines) in all samples of YK. Absences (Pb, As) or traces (Hg) of heavy metal indicate care taken during harvesting and manufacturing. Conclusion: Slight variation is seen in the elements, their concentration and functional group in different batches of YK. Variation in the concentration of water alters the frequency of filtration and affect the period of sedimentation. A batch prepared with less concentration of water (4 times) and without seeds seems to be cost effective.

Core-shell Nanofibers of Silk Fibroin/Polycaprolactone-Clindamycin: Study on Nanofibers Structure and Controlled Release Behavior

Biocompatible nanofibers with core-shell structures based on natural polymers such as silk fibroin have multiple applications as tissue engineering scaffolds and drug delivery systems. In this study, core-shell nanofibers composed of silk fibroin as shell and blends of clindamycin and polycaprolactone as core was fabricated using coaxial electrospinning technique. The effects of variation in concentration of core and shell polymer solutions, electrical conductivity and viscosity of solutions on the final morphology, average diameter of nanofibers and release behavior of clindamycin were studied. The fabricated nanofibers and their drug release behaviors were evaluated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet spectroscopy, scanning and transmission electron microscope techniques. The results showed that concentration of shell solution have more effect on the final average diameter of core-shell nanofiber in compare to core solution. It is concluded that as the concentration of both polycaprolactone in the core and silk fibroin in the shell increased, the amount of released clindamycin from fabricated core-shell nanofibers showed decreasing trend.

Analisis Kematian Larva Nyamuk Aedes agypti Akibat Pemberian Perasan Buah Nanas (Ananas comosus)

South Sumatra including 11 provinces experienced outbreaks. Aedes agypti is the main vector of dengue fever. Eradication by breaking the life cycle of Aedes agypti (larvae) mosquitoes which are not a health risk and environmentally friendly. Pineapple grows a lot in Indonesia, especially South Sumatra. Bromelin is an enzyme in pineapple which hydrolyzes peptide bonds in the protein content to amino acids. Parts of pineapple meat are used more while the skin and humps are wasted. Objective: to determine the effect of variations in concentration (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%) of pineapple juice (skin, meat, hump/stem) and the time of the death of Aedes agypti mosquito larvae. Research method: pure experimental, June-July 2018. The research subjects were 3000 Aedes agypti instar III larvae, population 2404 larvae, 2100 larvae samples, simple sampling random. Analysis of Pearson test data, One Way Anava test, post hoc LSD and post hoc Duncan, 95% confidence level. There was a relationship between the variation of pineapple juice concentration and larvae mortality with a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001, insignificant meat and skin but skin and hump/stem or meat and hump/stem are significantly different from the number of mosquito larvae deaths in the first 12 hours of meat 97,67%, skin 96,83%, humps 87,17%. The higher the concentration of the more deaths of Aedes agypti mosquito larvae with the skin part has the same ability as meat and better than hump.

Complex dielectric function ε⁎(ω) = ε′(ω) − ε″(ω) of the binary mixtures of amino silicone oil and methyl ethyl ketone were measured using precision LCR meter in the frequency range 100 Hz to 2 MHz at 298.15 K temperature. Complex dielectric function data are represented in different formalisms like complex a.c. conductivity σ⁎(ω), complex modulus M⁎(ω) and complex impedance Z⁎(ω). The refractive index of the same system was determined at 298.15 K temperature using Abbe's refractometer. These presentations are used to find out different parameters such as electrode polarization relaxation time (τEP), relaxation time (τEP′), ionic conduction relaxation time (τσ), dc conductivity (σdc) and static permittivity (ε0) of the liquid samples. Determined parameters are used to gain information about the effect of concentration variation on dielectric and electrical properties of the mixtures. Complex impedance Z⁎(ω) data were fitted to an equivalent circuit, having four elements including capacitance (C2) representing electrode double layer capacitance. The geometric relaxation time was calculated using product of resistor (R2) and capacitor (C1) of the equivalent circuit. Lower frequency dielectric data is dominated by the EP effect. The systematic change is observed in all the parameters with change in concentration of amino silicone oil in methyl ethyl ketone. Viscosity dependence of dc conductivity of the system is also investigated.
