Harmony of Progress: Investigating Discipline, Motivation, and Learning Achievement in Citizen Education

Research objectives: This research aims to determine: 1) the relationship between student discipline and learning achievement in Civics subjects, 2) the relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement in Civics subjects and 3) the relationship between student discipline and learning motivation and learning achievement in Civics subjects Methodology: This research is ex-post facto research and correlation research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students in grades VII and VIII of MTs Al Mu'minien, MTs Lohbener, MTs Ma'arif Langut and MTs Al Ghifari, totaling 1,294 students. The sampling technique used multi stage sampling with Isaac and Michael tables, and the sample obtained was 224 students. The data collection method uses a questionnaire for student discipline variables as well as learning motivation and documentation variables . Main Findings: The main finding of this research is the positive and significant relationship between student discipline and learning motivation together on civic education learning achievement. This can have the implication that with student discipline and learning motivation in students together, students' Civics learning achievement will also increase . So that it can give rise to an urge for interest in learning to achieve a goal, for example becoming class champion . Novelty / Originality of this research: The novelty of this research is the importance of the relationship between discipline and learning motivation together on student learning achievement in Citizen Education. It is considered important to combine the relationship between discipline and student learning motivation because this can be one way for students to have high levels concern for learning so that students can get good grades.

The Influence of Student's Learning Motivation And Extracurricular Activities on Physical Education Learning Achievement

This study investigates the impact of student learning motivation and extracurricular activities on Physical Education learning achievement among students at SDN Ciangir 1, Tangerang Regency, using a correlational method. Cluster random sampling was applied, involving 28 fifth-grade students. Questionnaires measured learning motivation, while documentation assessed extracurricular activities and PE learning achievements. Correlation analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between learning motivation (X1) and PE learning achievement (Y), with a coefficient of 0.474. Similarly, a positive correlation was found between extracurricular activities (X2) and PE learning achievement (Y), with a coefficient of 0.423. Additionally, the correlation between learning motivation (X1) and extracurricular activities (X2) on PE learning achievement (Y) was significant, with a coefficient of 0.527. These findings confirm a notable influence of learning motivation and extracurricular activities on PE learning achievement among students at SDN Ciangir 1, Tangerang Regency.

Hubungan Kreativitas Berpikir Siswa dengan Prestasi Belajar Siswa di Kelas 7 SMPIT Ummul Aminah Kota Depok

There are still students at SMPIT Ummul Aminah Depok City who lack student thinking creativity, in this case, the need for motivation from teachers in educating and guiding students to grow and get Islamic Religious Education learning achievements, so that the better the creativity of students' thinking, the higher the students' Islamic Education learning achievements. The objectives of this study are: (1) to find out how PAI learning achievement in class VII SMPIT Ummul Aminah Depok City, (2) to find out the factors inhibiting PAI learning achievement of students in grade VII SMPIT Ummul Aminah Depok City, (3) to find out how the level of creativity of students thinking in grade VII SMPIT Ummul Aminah Depok City, (4) to find out how teacher efforts to increase the creativity of students in grade VII SMPIT Ummul Aminah Depok City, (5) to find out whether there is a significant relationship between students' thinking creativity and Islamic Education learning achievement in class VII SMPIT Ummul Aminah Depok City. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire with a correlation method. The results of this study show that: (1) students' Islamic Religious Education learning achievement is included in the very good category, (2) factors inhibiting students' Islamic Education learning achievement in grade VII SMPIT Ummul Aminah Depok City are lack of motivation from the students themselves to study harder, (3) variable X statement (student thinking creativity) most students answer in the affirmative and based on the variable category that students' thinking creativity is in the good category, (4) teachers' efforts for student creativity are to provide motivation to students, (5) there is a significant relationship between students' thinking creativity and students' Islamic Education learning achievement is included in the medium category.

Upaya Meningkatkan Prestasi Dan Kualitas Belajar PAI Dengan Menerapkan Metode STAD Pada Siswa Kelas I SD 87 Kota Bengkulu

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students Islamic Religious Education learning achievement when the STAD method was applied. The research approach used is class action research. Data collection techniques used with observation sheets, and written test sheets. The result of the research is that the application of STAD method learning can improve students' learning achievement, especially in Islamic Education subjects. The teaching and learning process in PAI learning by using the STAD Method has improved. The conclusion in this study is that student learning outcomes after using the STAD Method in PAI subjects of students in class I SDN 87 Bengkulu City have increased this can be seen from the test scores before the action (pretest) 15 students who scored < 65 and 9 people who scored > 65 and student test scores after treatment using the STAD Method, cycle 1 post-test scores. 10 students who scored > 65, there were 6 people who had a score of 65 and 8 students who scored < 65. While the post-test score of cycle 11, 20 students who scored> 65 and 4 people who scored < 65. By using the STAD method, it can improve student learning outcomes seen from the pre-cycle, cycle 1, cycle II successively 38%, 67%, 83%. This indicates that the actions that have been taken are in accordance with the previously prepared planning and have achieved the expected learning process and results.

Use of Learning Facilities on Students' Islamic Religious Education Learning Achievement in High School

Purpose of the study: Learning facilities are all the lessons students need in the learning process so that the learning process can run well, but in this research it only focuses on textbook learning facilities. This research aims to determine the learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education students in high school using textbooks.
 Methodology: The type of research used is field research with a qualitative approach, while the research design is qualitative descriptive research. The type of research and data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation to obtain reported values.
 Main Findings: The results of this research show that the use of Islamic Religious Education learning process textbooks is very effective and the Islamic Religious Education learning achievement of class XI students in high school is in the very good category.
 Novelty/Originality of this study: The integration of technology such as the use of learning software, educational applications, and interactive hardware in teaching Islamic Religious Education can provide a more interesting and effective learning experience for students. Leverage online resources such as instructional videos, interactive materials, and distance learning platforms to increase accessibility and variety in instruction.

Increasing Learning Achievement in Islamic Religious Education Through a Contextual Learning Approach of Students

<span>The background in this study is the low achievement of learning Islamic religious education. This research is intended to improve the learning achievement of Islamic religious education through a contextual learning approach. This exploration uses classroom action research (PTK) which consists of two cycles with four stages, namely, planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were grade XI students of SMA 5 Surakarta consisting of 11 boys and 19 girls. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in each cycle. In the first cycle, the average score of the test was 65.17 out of 30 students who took the test, with 37% (11 students) in the complete category and 63% (19 students) in the incomplete category. Furthermore, in cycle II there was an increase in tests with an average of 77.47 out of 30 students who took the test. With many 87% (26 students) completed and 13% (4 students) incomplete. The increase in Islamic Religious Education learning achievement from cycle I to cycle II by 50%. With the contextual learning approach, it can improve the learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education in students.</span>

Physical Activity and Physical Fitness as Predictors of Students' Physical Education Learning Achievement

This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical activity and physical fitness with students' Physical Education learning achievement both partially and simultaneously. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational approach. The population in the study were junior high school students in Yogyakarta, totaling 125 students. The physical activity instrument is The Physical Activity Questionnaire for Adolescent (PAQ-A) which has been modified. Physical fitness level was measured using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test for children aged 13-15 years. Learning achievement is based on report card scores. The data analysis technique used is a prerequisite test consisting of normality test, linearity test, while the hypothesis test uses partial and simultaneous tests. The results showed that (1) There is a significant relationship between physical activity and students' Physical Education learning achievement. (2) There is a significant relationship between physical fitness and Physical Education learning achievement of class students. (3) There is a significant relationship between physical activity and physical fitness with students' physical education learning achievement.

Relationship Between Student Perceptions of Teacher Creativity with Student Learning Achievement in Tangerang

This study aims to determine student perceptions of teacher creativity in managing class (X). Student achievement of Islamic religious education in Cipondoh District, Tangerang City (Y). Whether or not there is a relationship between students' perceptions of teacher creativity in managing classes and student achievement in Islamic religious education at State Junior High Schools in Cipondoh District, Tangerang City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research subjects totaled 32 respondents, using a stratified random sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire instrument (X) and a report card value documentation instrument to collect data (Y). The collected research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. Testing the hypothesis shows a positive relationship between student perceptions of teacher creativity in managing classes and student achievement in Islamic religious education at Cipondoh District Public Middle School, Tangerang City. This can be seen from the recount (observation ratio value) of 0.641, greater than the rtable (correlation table value) at the significance level of 5%:0.349 and 1%:0.449. This shows that the teacher's creativity determines 64% of the variation in Islamic religious education learning achievement scores. From the results of this study, it was concluded that there was a positive relationship between students' perceptions of teacher creativity in managing classes and student achievement in Islamic religious education, in the sense that the higher student perceptions of teacher creativity in managing classes, the better student achievement in religious education.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARENTS' ATTENTION AND INTEREST IN LEARNING ON STUDENTS' PAI LEARNING OUTCOMES IN THE FIRST MIDDLE SCHOOL OF DARUSSALAM MEDAN LABUHAN

Parental attention has a great relationship with children's learning activities. With the attention of parents, children will be more active and more enthusiastic in learning. The background of this research problem is that ideally a child can have a good Islamic education learning achievement if the child gets high or sufficient attention from his parents. Because, a child, especially in the period of development, certainly needs a trusted figure who can guide, direct and be a role model.This study aims to determine: (1) the quality of parental attention to children's learning in the field of Islamic education at Junior high school Darussalam Medan Labuhan, (2) student interest in learning in the field of Islamic education at Junior high school Darussalam Medan Labuhan, and (3) the relationship between parental attention and interest learning on student achievement in the field of Islamic Studies at Junior high school Darussalam Medan Labuhan.This research is a quantitative research. The analysis used in this research is correlation. This technique is used to connect the measurement results between two different variables in order to determine and obtain information about the degree of relationship that occurs between the two variables. The correlation technique used in this study is serial correlation.

PENERAPAN PROGRAM BOARDING SCHOOL TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM SISWA SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BANJARNEGARA

The results showed that 1) The application of the boarding school program to the learning achievement of PAI at SMP Muhammadiyah Banjarnegara was carried out by the first teacher of the worship practice program, namely the midnight prayer in congregation, morning prayer and morning dhikr, rote deposit, congregational midday prayer, afternoon prayer, evening prayer, muroja'ah memorization, maghrib prayer, tadarus and evening prayer. Second, teaching the book, namely the program teaching the book, which proves that students can understand more deeply about the science of monotheism, worship, muamalah, and morals. The four programs for developing English and Arabic skills have been proven to be able to increase PAI learning achievement because more PAI material relates to the Al-Qur'an and Hadith so that mastery of Arabic is important. The learning achievement of Islamic boarding school students is relatively good, this can be seen from the acquisition of report cards which have a value above 80. 2) The obstacle to the application of the boarding school program on Islamic education learning achievement is the existence of scouting activities, the practice of midnight prayers and obligatory prayers which require supervision, low student participation and relatively weak student memorization. 3) Solutions to the constraints of implementing the boarding school program on Islamic education learning achievement, namely dormitory programs and activities carried out regularly, teachers providing assistance in worship, giving awards or rewards to students who are role models for other students, strengthening the physical and psychological aspects of students and the existence of support full of subject teachers and tahfidz teachers for the sake of creating hafidz as the school wants.

Korelasi Prestasi Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Dengan Akhlak Siswa Terhadap Guru Di SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan

This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education and students' morals towards teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method, with a type of correlational research, and a deductive research approach. The results of his research found that there was no correlation between learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education and student morals towards teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan, although between Islamic Religious Education learning achievement was positively related to student morals towards teachers with a strong correlation category.

The Effect of Motor Ability on Physical Education Learning Achievement of Elementary School Students

This study aims to determine the relationship between motor skills and the concentration of upper-class students in public elementary schools in Bantul, Yogyakarta. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational approach. The population in this study were high school students in public elementary schools in Bantul Yogyakarta, totaling 125 students. Motoric ability instruments use Barrow Motor Ability for Elementary Schools, which include: Shutlle-run test 4 x 10 meters, test to throw and catch a ball 1 meter from a wall, Stork Stand Positional Balance test, 30-meter sprint test, while physical education learning achievements use report value. The data analysis technique uses Pearson Correlation Product Moment analysis. The results showed a significant relationship between motor skills and the concentration of upper-class students in elementary schools. There was a relationship between motor skills and physical education learning achievements of students, with an r count of 0.395 and a coefficient of determination of 15.60%. The correlation coefficient is positive, meaning that if the motor skills get better, the physical education learning achievement will get better. For teachers and students, the results of this study can be a reference for improving motor skills because they affect Physical Education learning achievement. For other researchers, research can be carried out with other independent variables so that more variables that affect motor skills can be identified.

Analysis of Teacher Competencies in Physical Education Learning Achievement

This study aimed to determine how effective physical education teachers were in learning achievement for public elementary school students, especially for elementary schools in Tanjung Sari District. Because to undergo the teaching profession, several competencies must be possessed, namely pedagogical competence, professional competence, personal competence, and social competence. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a natural setting or naturalistic inquiry design. The researcher conducted the research by conducting interviews with a sample of teachers in public elementary schools, and the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data, researchers used data triangulation. From the research that has been done, data indicates that the teacher has attempted to master the four competencies, which include 1) mastery of the material, 2) class management, 3) learning variety, 4) teaching style, 5) social interaction, 6) Be well behaved. It can be stated that most physical education teachers in the Tanjung Sari sub-district are competent. In the minority, some teachers are still in the evaluation stage to develop these four competencies.

Pengaruh kesegaran jasmani dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani, olahraga, dan kesehatan

The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of Physical Fitness and Learning Motivation on Physical Education Learning Achievement. Based on the research goals, this study used quantitative (associative) multiple linear regression methods. This study was conducted in SMPN 18 Padang. The population was the student of class 17, who participated in an extracurricular program. The sample was taken by total sampling technique and with a total of 39 students. Physical Fitness was measured by the TKJI test, Learning Motivation was measured by a questionnaire, and Physical Education Achievement was taken from the test result of Physical Education Learning Achievement of the semester II periods. Before processing the data, several tests were made in advance, which was: the normality residual test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The results of data analysis show that: (1) Physical Fitness influence Physical Education Learning Achievement (sig 0.00<0.05). (2) Leaning Motivation influence toward Physical Education Learning Achievement (sig 0.04 <0.05). (3) Physical Fitness and Leaning Motivation simultaneously affect Physical education Learning Achievement (sig 0.00 <0.05).

Understanding Teachers of PJOK Towards Physical Education and Authentic Assessment of Elementary School in Kotabumi

Physical education, sports and health (Physical Education) is a subject in which students are given the opportunity to learn through systematic physical, sport and health activities. Physical education learning achievement carried out in elementary schools can be influenced by several supporting factors, one of which is determined by the ability of PJOK teachers in teaching and assessing students' abilities. Authentic assessment is an assessment that is measured significantly from student learning outcomes in the realm of attitudes, knowledge and skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the understanding of PJOK teachers about physical education and authentic assessment in the city of Kotabumi, North Lampung. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive with the number of respondents as many as 30PJOK teachers who are members of the KKG in Kotabumi. The data collection was carried out in January-May 2021 via google form. The calculation of the data is done by categorizing the data into categories of very understanding, understanding, not understanding, and very not understanding. The results obtained are the understanding of physical education teachers about physical education and sports by 43% very understanding and 57% understanding and understanding of physical education teachers about the purpose of physical education and sports by 37% not understanding. PJOK teachers' understanding of the application of authentic assessment is that 53% understand the knowledge aspect, 70% understand the attitude aspect and 45% do not understand the skill aspect. Conclusion: PJOK teachers' understanding of the implementation and objectives of physical education learning is in a good category. PJOK Elementary School teachers' understanding of authentic assessment is in the good category. However, in understanding the application of the three aspects of authentic assessment, it has not been maximized, because PJOK teachers are still carried away with the conventional assessment system.

Penerapan Metode Inkuiri pada Mata Pelajaran Penjasorkes untuk Meningkatkan Teknik Bermain Bola Tangan pada Siswa Kelas VI SD Negeri 1 Marga Mulya Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020

Physical education is an educational process that utilizes systematic, planned physical activities to develop and improve individuals organically, neuromuscularly, perceptually, cognitively, and emotionally within the framework of the national education system. The problem to be studied in this research is the improvement of physical education learning achievement for students by applying the inquiry method? (b) how is the effect of the inquiry method on students' learning motivation? The results of this study are (a) how is the improvement of physical education learning achievement in students after applying the inquiry method, (b) Knowing the motivation to learn physical education after applying the inquiry method. This research uses two rounds of action research. Each round consists of two stages: design, activity, and observation. Reflection and revision, the subject of this research are Class VI SDN 1 Marga Mulya students from the data obtained in practice test results observation sheets. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely, cycle I (65.38%), cycle II (96.15%) for the psychomotor domain, cycle I (69.23%). Cycle II (94.87%) for the affective domain. This study concludes that the inquiry method can positively affect the learning motivation of Class VI students at SDN 1 Marga Mulya, and the learning model can be used as an alternative to physical education.

PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF JIGSAW DAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN

The purpose of this study was to get empirical data about the effect of cooperative learning jigsaw and the used of media on the Christian Education learning achievement students of SMA Negeri 2 Ambon. The study used quantitative approach with survey design. Population of this researched was all students of SMA Negeri 2 Ambon amount 592 with the sampel was 59 student. Method of data collection used questionnaires and documents, and the questionnaires were tested to 30 student outside the target with validity and reliability test. Hypothesis test used partial test with t test and simultaneous by using SPSS computer program. The result found that there was significant influence between the application of jigsaw learning model to the Christian Education learning achievement of the student of SMA Negeri 2 Ambon. The simple linier line equation formed between the variable of jigsaw learning (X1) with learning media (X2) to the Christian Education learning achievement (Y) was Ῠ=26.219+674 (X1) + 112 (X2). This finding indicated that there was a positive and significant influenced 74,1% the application of jigsaw cooperative learning model, together with the student’s Christian Education learning achievement of SMA Negeri 2 Ambon in academic year 2017-2018, while the rest equal t0 25,9% was influenced by other variables which is not examined in this research.Key words: cooperative, jigsaw, media, achievement, Christian

From Teachers’ Views to Explore the Implementation of Energy Education in Taiwan’s Elementary Schools

<p>This study intended to explore the implementation of promoting “energy education” in Taiwan’s elementary schools. The research adopted a questionnaire (Likert five-point scale) from teachers’ view in three dimensions to construct examination. The 45 participants come from 10 different primary schools distributed across Taiwan, which participate in <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">e</span>nergy education program in the second period (2015-2017). The data was analyzed by ANOVA, mean and standard deviations of the viewpoints of the participants in the energy education learning achievement of the primary schools. The first findings in this research is, the program of energy education was most effective in “energy attitude” (M=4.282, SD=0.814), followed by “energy awareness” (M=4.049, SD=0.720) and “energy behavior” (M=3.983, SD=0.875). It shows that students have positive energy attitude, but they were relatively weak at energy saving behavior. Secondly, there is statistically significant difference in overall students learning performance with urban areas are higher than rural areas. Finally, it is suggested that in addition to strengthen energy attitudes and energy awareness, we should encourage students to take action in save energy in their daily life. Furthermore, we should invest more resources to rural areas to balance the students’ performances between urban and rural areas.</p>

Hubungan Antara Tingkat Kepercayaan Diri Dengan Prestasi Belajar Pendidikan Jasmani

This study aims to examine the level of confidence relationship with physical education learning achievement in elementary schools in the Tawang sub-district, Tasikmalaya City. The research method uses descriptive-correlational. The sample in this study is the sixth-grade students selected representing several schools in the District of Tawang as many as 60 students employing a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a confidential questionnaire. Data processing procedures to obtain answers about whether or not the hypothesis is accepted following the proposed significance are: (1) looking for averages, (2) looking for standard deviations, (3) testing normality through the Lillefors test (4) testing the correlation of two variables. Based on the results of research and statistical calculations on hypothesis testing the relationship of the level of confidence with physical education learning achievement, the authors can conclude as follows; there is a significant relationship between self-confidence and student achievement in class VI in Tawang District, Tasikmalaya City. Because the significance value obtained is greater than 0.05, and the value of Yxy (0.90)> (0.250) rtable (0.05) (60) then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so there is a significant relationship between self-confidence and achievement learning (significant).
