ANALYSIS OF AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT IN GUANGXI UNDER THE BACKGROUND OF RURAL REVITALIZATION

Chinese economy is undergoing a transformation towards high-quality development. As the foundation of the national economy, agriculture must also adapt to the trend of social and economic development, transform its development mode, and transform towards high-quality agricultural development. The implementation of the rural revitalization strategy must be supported by high-quality agriculture; In the context of rural revitalization, we should focus on the new forms and new connotations of high-quality agricultural development. By establishing an agricultural development quality evaluation index system with 13 indicators from 5 dimensions, including economic benefits, comprehensive production capacity, social services, coordinated development, and sustainable development, we can use the comprehensive index evaluation system to analyze the current situation of agricultural development quality in Guangxi and identify the shortcomings and deficiencies that constrain high-quality agricultural development. The research results of comprehensive indicator evaluation and comparative analysis based on factor analysis method indicate that the overall level of agricultural development quality in Guangxi needs to be improved, with problems such as slow development and improvement speed, common shortcomings that restrict development, relative dispersion of agricultural leading enterprises, and insufficient utilization of agglomeration effect advantages. Based on this, it is proposed to promote the development of agriculture in Guangxi towards branding and intensive scale, cultivate diversified agricultural management entities, improve the agricultural production guarantee system, and accelerate the development of agriculture towards green direction.

MODERN PROBLEMS OF TRANSFORMATION OF RURAL AREAS AS A FACTOR OF INFLUENCE ON THE MANAGEMENT OF AGRO-INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE

Rural areas play a key role in ensuring sustainable development, supporting the national economy, and preserving cultural heritage. Their development and support are important tasks of state policy and business centers. The aim of the article is to study the current problems of rural area transformation as a factor influencing the management of agro-industrial enterprises. The term "rural areas" has been clarified as a complex system that combines economic, environmental, and social aspects, creating conditions for sustainable development and improving residents' quality of life. The carried out research gives grounds to understand the transformation of rural areas as a process of changes that occur in rural areas under the influence of economic, social, technological, and environmental factors. This process includes several aspects that affect the structure, functioning, and development of agro-industrial enterprises in rural areas. The modern concepts of transformation of rural areas are analyzed, and their essence, prominent advantages, and disadvantages in the context of ensuring the efficiency of management of agro-industrial enterprise are clarified. The mentality of the rural population is a key player in the transformation of rural areas. Understanding and considering this mentality is crucial in developing more effective and sustainable strategies for rural area development, which in turn can lead to harmonious growth and improved quality of life in these areas. The formation of stereotypes about rural residents has a profound impact on the transformation of rural areas. It is essential to challenge and rethink these stereotypes, as doing so cannot only improve the perception of agribusiness but also contribute to the sustainable development of rural areas, making them more attractive and economically viable.

Problems and Strategies of Financial Services Supporting the Real Economy

With the rapid development of China's economy, the status and role of the financial industry in the national economy have become increasingly prominent. The healthy development of the financial industry is of great significance for promoting the development of the real economy, adjusting the economic structure, and upgrading the economy. However, there are still some problems with financial services supporting the real economy in China, such as the misallocation of financial resources, high financing costs, and rising financial risks. These issues limit the support financial services can provide to the real economy. This paper analyzes the main problems currently existing in financial services supporting the real economy and proposes countermeasures from optimizing the allocation of financial resources, reducing financing costs for the real economy, preventing and resolving financial risks, and deepening the structural reform of the financial supply side. The aim is to provide references for relevant personnel.

Informing or guiding? The influence of party politicisation of the European Union on public opinion formation

How do individual predispositions towards national politics influence public opinion formation on the EU? This article addresses this question by unveiling the moderating role of party politicisation of the EU. Through debate and competition, political parties can affect how individuals rely on their predispositions towards national politics to form their views on the EU. Using individual-level and country-year-level data from 25 EU countries, results reveal that citizens are less likely to rely on short-term utilitarian appreciations of the national economy or trust in national institutions as the degree of party politicisation of the EU increases. The way individuals activate predispositions that reflect hostility towards immigrants is not dependent on the levels of party politicisation of the EU. The findings highlight that party politicisation of the EU informs public opinion by creating an information-rich environment; however, it does not guide individuals to mobilise and activate their cultural predispositions towards immigration.

The contribution of macroeconomic indicators to the attainment of economic development objectives in some western ASIAN countries

This study looks at how macroeconomic variables affect poverty, unemployment, and economic growth in seven Western Asian nations. We used 18 years of data (2003-2020) using a generalized moment analysis method, although experience has varied significantly in different countries as well as between different regions. The development and effective implementation of policies to accelerate employment growth are essential to success on a continent that still has an exceptionally high rate of poverty. These policies will allow us to address the persistent problems of unemployment and poverty. In developing an appropriate policy, countries need to take into account the universal acceleration of trends towards closer integration of the world economy and the rapid pace of liberalization as national economies move increasingly towards a market economy. According to our findings, poverty, unemployment, and economic growth are all significantly impacted by sustainable development indices. During the study period, investment and the activity rate were two of the primary factors influencing economic growth. Western Asian countries should improve the quality of their institutions and their capacity to adapt and acquire new skills. Trade and globalization should not be considered in isolation. Additional policies are needed to reinforce its impact on economic growth.

The Transformational Journey of Indian Women Entrepreneurs in the Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission

Achieving the goals of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission will require empowering women in a variety of fields, including research and development, science and technology, art, culture, and literature, as well as economic and social empowerment and uplifting education. Since women make up 50% of our population, this will be especially important. The Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission's goals can be achieved and the nation's economy can grow as a result of women becoming economically empowered through women entrepreneurs. It used to be that women could only work in a few industries, like pickles and papads, but as awareness and education among women have grown over time, more and more women are now employed in a variety of non- traditional fields, including animation, travel and tourism, hardware and networking, and IT software. Based on their circumstances in the nation, women entrepreneurs must be supported and encouraged in order for the government of India to achieve its Self- Reliant India Mission. With these considerations in mind, the present study aims to examine the current state of women's entrepreneurship in India and the influence of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission on women entrepreneurs.

Analysis of the Development and Influencing Factors of the County Economy in Liaoning Province

County economy is an important component of China’s national economy, and its development helps promote new urbanization and narrow the urban-rural economic gap. Liaoning Province relies on developing its county-level economy to promote industrial upgrading, poverty alleviation, rural revitalization and social development. In recent years, the development level of the county economy in Liaoning Province has significantly improved, but there are still problems, such as uneven economic development. Studying the development path of the county-level economy in Liaoning Province has practical significance. Based on the background of the new normal of China’s economy, this article analyzes the current development status, influencing factors and problems and challenges faced by the county-level economy in Liaoning Province and proposes countermeasures and suggestions for further promoting the development of the county-level economy.

Digital Economy and Business Transformation in Indonesia: An Exploration of Opportunities and Challenges

This research explores the impact of the digital economy on key sectors such as e-commerce and fintech and identifies the challenges companies face in the adoption of digital technologies. In the context of e-commerce, this research assesses how digitalization has changed the way businesses operate, including changes in business models, payment methods, and customer experience, as well as how technology has enabled market expansion and improved operational efficiency. Using a qualitative approach and literature review, the research leveraged data from annual reports of government agencies, international organizations, industry reports of market research firms, and academic journal articles on digital transformation. The results reveal that, while digitalization offers significant opportunities for market expansion, innovation, and increased financial inclusion, there are serious challenges that include infrastructure limitations, digital skills gaps, and regulatory uncertainty. The implications of these findings point to the need for inclusive infrastructure development strategies, comprehensive skills training programs, and adaptive regulatory policies. Such measures are expected to address existing gaps and maximize the benefits of the digital economy for business growth as well as the national economy.

The Return of the State and Its Alla Turca Version

Economic nationalism and state intervention recently gained attraction in many countries including Turkey. This paper questions whether Turkey has changed its economic policy framework towards a statecentric model and, if so, whether these changes are well thought-out and sustainable. The examination of key areas of state capitalism, that is the monetary, industrial, trade, financial, and state economic enterprise (SEE) policies put forward in the officially adopted five-year plans and annual programs, suggests that the changes in the economic policy framework began after the 2008 global crisis and accelerated after the transition to a presidential system. Upon examination, the policy framework does not reflect a definitive, coherent, and wholistic approach but rather a pragmatic attitude that swings back and forth, which exposes the country to swings in the global system.

The blue economy effects on EUROMED tourism: forecasting approach

This study examines the factors that influence the blue economy in EUROMED, aiming at promoting economic growth in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. EUROMED was chosen because all of its nations have fisheries and marine tourism, which are the two key indicators of the blue economy. Blue economy contributes to sustainable development in the fisheries and marine tourism sectors. A commitment to sustainability has sped up national and regional blue economy policy development. The study uses secondary qualitative data and literature review to analyse the synergies and conflicts between EUROMED blue economy strategies and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The findings suggest that GDP growth, aqua production, open trade, CO2 emissions, and inflation rate influence the blue economy, and that ecotourism that considers education, society, and the environment may generate sustainable fisheries and marine tourism. Only 21 countries gave the ARDL test between 2000 and 2019. This study analyses synergies and conflicts between EUROMED blue economy strategies and UN Sustainable Development Goals. Location-based contextual development of blue economies that suit all players' requirements is essential to maintain sustainability objectives. Ensure resilience against future environmental and political shocks, preserve the ecological underpinning for vibrant blue economies, and create capacity at all levels to promote effective and fair governance. This study tries to make good use of ocean conservation and aquaculture within the context of the blue economy. This is the first EUROMED blue economy study and contributes to the theoretical and methodological development of blue economy research.

Are small and medium-sized enterprises the strength of the Polish economy?

The research conducted under the micro-project Intellectual Capital and Technological Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Poland focused on the impact of intellectual capital on the technological development of SME. The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of intellectual capital on the technological advancement of these enterprises. Due to the broad approach to economic development and the significant role of SMEs in the economy, a series of three articles was chosen as the publication format. This publication serves as an introduction, addressing the essence and importance of the SME sector. The article aims to confirm the impact of the SME sector on the economic development of the country, which is considered significant based on statistical data. The data reveal a favourable statistical picture of SMEs, showing an increase in the number of business entities and their positive impact on the labour market and GDP growth. The findings underscore the need for continued efforts to eliminate ineffective management practices withing the various components of intellectual capital. The subject matter of the research cycle continues in the next two papers. The second article, entitled “The Role of Intangible Resources in Shaping the Value of Knowledge-Based Enterprises” emphasises the need and necessity of implementing in small and medium-sized entities. The third article, considers it important to identify, measure, and value these assets. Detailing the methods of doing so, it summarises the research results and points to intangible assets as the main determinants of company management in a knowledge-based economy. It demonstrates the significant impact that small and medium-sized businesses could have on the development of the national economy if the management of intellectual capital in these enterprises adhered to the principles of conscious and rational use of knowledge assets. As a result of the increasing importance of a company’s intellectual capital – including its human resources, structural, and relational values – small and medium-sized enterprises must change their previous intuitive, approach to their management to a conscious and strategic approach. This transition will enable them to remain competitive in the market in an era of widespread technological and other changes affecting the product and labour market. In view of the volatile environment and the development of a knowledge-based economy, the ability to manage intangible assets becomes particularly important for the development of enterprises, both large and those in the SME sector. Effective management of intellectual capital should be considered a key competence in this area. Although the tools for managing this invisible potential are discussed in the literature and practically applied in large companies, they are only beginning to be adopted by small and medium-sized enterprises. Given the significant contribution of these entities to national income generation and job creation, it is necessary to adapt and implement the concept of intangible asset management to suit the operating conditions of small business.

From state financial control to modern audit: evolutionary development in Russia and other countries

The article is devoted to the study of the evolution of state financial control and audit. The historical facts of their origin in the Great Roman Empire, China, India, Great Britain, the USA and Russia are given. Four stages of audit development in modern Russia are identified and a fairly detailed description of each stage is given. The necessity of modernizing the process of self-regulation of the auditing profession is substantiated, taking into account the recommendations of the International Forum of Independent Regulators of Auditing, the development and effective implementation of a new Concept and a new Strategy of Russian audit, the implementation of which will create conditions for the consolidation of the audit professional community, contributing to the development and functioning of mechanisms for involving the audit community in the processes of solving strategic tasks aimed at improving the efficiency of functioning modern models of state financial control and audit, the development of the national economy and ensuring the economic security of the country. Special attention is paid to taking measures to increase the level of demand and value of the audit.

Current Situation, Problems and Suggestions of Agricultural Futures Market in China

The agricultural futures market occupies a central position in China's financial landscape, wielding substantial influence over the sustainable development of the national economy. Apart from its core roles in price discovery and risk management for agricultural products, this market acts as a catalyst for efficient allocation of resources and continuous financial innovation. Furthermore, it enhances market liquidity and amplifies China's global economic impact. As China's financial sector matures, the agricultural futures market will continue its dual role of bolstering agricultural prosperity and financial dynamism, despite encountering various challenges. This study explores the present state of China's agricultural futures market, evaluating metrics such as total market turnover and penetration. Analysis identifies several critical issues, including inadequate liquidity, susceptibility to market manipulation, speculative activities, and uncertain economic policies. To address these challenges, the paper proposes targeted strategies. The research outcomes carry significant implications for nurturing the sustainable and resilient growth of China's agricultural futures market.

Analysis of the Impact of Digital Transformation on Non-Financial Performance of Manufacturing Enterprises

As one of the important pillars of China’s national economy, the development of the manufacturing industry has attracted much attention. The manufacturing industry has become a key development area due to its high technology content, capital-intensive, knowledge-intensive, and many more characteristics. With the rapid development of big data information technology, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence have brought a lot of convenience to people’s lives, and manufacturing enterprises have also realized the importance of reform and innovation, and have begun to carry out digital transformation. Based on the study of the motivation of digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises, this paper explores the transformation path of manufacturing enterprises to meet the needs of social development, and deeply analyzes the impact of digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises on enterprise performance, with a view to improving the unbalanced industrial structure and lagging technological development at the present stage through digital transformation.

Web-Based Decision Support System for Budget Prediction Using the SAW Method for Tourism Recommendations

Tourism plays a crucial role in regional and national economies, with local tourism in Indonesia, particularly in Jombang Regency, East Java, offering substantial development potential. However, tourists often face difficulties in planning trips that align with their budgets due to inadequate integration of information on costs, trip duration, and participant numbers. This study develops a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) utilizing the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to enhance trip planning for tourism in Jombang. The DSS integrates data on budget, trip duration, and the number of participants to provide optimal recommendations based on user preferences and constraints. The SAW method facilitates a systematic and objective evaluation process for recommending tourist destinations. The research follows the ADDIE development model, encompassing Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Key objectives include creating a system that consolidates cost, duration, and participant data, applying SAW for accurate recommendations, and ensuring an objective evaluation process. The system aims to improve trip planning efficiency, provide accurate recommendations, and enhance user satisfaction. The scope of this study is limited to applying the SAW method for budget prediction in tourism recommendations for Jombang. The developed system is a prototype that may require further refinement for comprehensive implementation.

Regulatory Framework for Gold Mining in Ghana: An Analysis of Damongo’s Mining Sector

This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the regulatory framework governing gold mining in Ghana, with a specific focus on Damongo, a rapidly growing mining hub in the Northern Region. Ghana's gold mining sector, a major contributor to the nation's economy, faces significant challenges despite its economic benefits. These challenges include severe environmental degradation, mercury contamination, and social issues exacerbated by inadequate regulatory enforcement. This article examines the existing regulatory framework, which includes key legislative acts such as the Minerals and Mining Act, 2006, and the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1994, alongside a network of regulatory institutions like the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources and the Minerals Commission. Utilizing Damongo as a case study, this research reveals critical inefficiencies in the local regulatory system, particularly in combating illegal mining activities and managing environmental and social impacts. Findings indicate that while gold mining has stimulated economic growth and provided employment opportunities, it has also led to negative consequences such as increased health problems, social vices, and reduced agricultural productivity. The study underscores the need for more robust regulatory practices, improved institutional capacity, and enhanced community involvement in environmental governance. Comparative insights from regulatory practices in other jurisdictions, such as Australia and Canada, highlight the potential benefits of adopting stricter environmental regulations, comprehensive impact assessments, and better coordination among regulatory agencies. The article concludes with recommendations for strengthening Ghana’s regulatory framework, including increased investment in regulatory institutions, improved enforcement mechanisms, and the promotion of sustainable mining practices. This study aims to contribute to the ongoing discourse on mining regulation and sustainability, providing actionable insights for policymakers and stakeholders involved in the governance of Ghana’s gold mining sector.

MARINE FISHERIES AND ITS IMPACT ON COMMUNITY: AN OVERVIEW

Marine Fishery is the harvesting of fish and other seafood from the ocean for commercial, recreational, and food purposes. Marine fisheries, resources provide animal proteins to billions of people globally. Marine fishery has a vital role in human development and welfare as it provides employment, production, and trade, and has a significant share. In the national economy. There are several types of marine fisheries, which provide food security, livelihoods and economic benefits to millions of people especially the coastal communities. Sustainable fisheries of the world, facing many problems, like overfishing, habitat destruction, and climate change resulted in the depletion of fish stock and threat to the marine ecosystem. To get the long- term benefits and to reduce the pressure on marine fishery, conservation efforts i.e. sustainable fishing, marine protected areas establishment and enhancing aquaculture productivity are essential. Coastal area communities around the world usually depend upon the fishing industry for their food, income, and livelihood. Marine fisheries impacted on the communities in both ways i.e. positively and negatively. Economic and ecological impacts of marine fisheries on communities are significant. To mitigate negative impacts and enhance positive impacts of marine fisheries on the communities, the present project is undertaken to highlight those impacts by gathering the data about marine fisheries and its allied subjects from 1980 - 2024. In the end some suggestions are coated, like fisheries management practices, community-based management, and social responsibility initiatives, for better and sustainable fishery industry of the country.

Investigating the Effectiveness of Endogenous and Exogenous Drivers of the Sustainability (Re)Orientation of Family SMEs in Slovenia: Qualitative Content Analysis Approach

Large proportions of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are family controlled and play an important role not only in the development of many national economies, but also have great potential to reduce negative effects of human activities on the natural environment and society. This important role of family SMEs has been recognized by the European Union (EU) which has integrated them in its legislative frameworks. The main question addressed in our research is whether family SMEs integrate sustainability concerns into their strategic and operative decisions as required by the EU legislative frameworks. We designed our research with the purpose to broaden our understanding of sustainability (re)orientation of family SMEs and fill the gap in the existing literature on family businesses’ sustainability. We applied a qualitative case study research method where sustainability (re)orientation of 26 family SMEs was explored. The qualitative content analysis was used in the process of analysing data. Theoretically and empirically based cognitions on endogenous and exogenous drivers of the family businesses’ sustainability (re)orientation were applied in interpretation of the research results. Our findings show the low level of sustainability (re)orientation of most of the investigated Slovenian family SMEs. The exogenous drivers have stronger effect on sustainability (re)orientation of family SMEs than endogenous drivers.

Selection and Validation of Reference Genes in Dendrocalamus brandisii for Quantitative Real-Time PCR.

Dendrocalamus brandisii (Munro) Kurz is a sympodial bamboo species with a wide distribution in tropical and subtropical regions. Due to its remarkable regenerative ability and exceptional flavor, this species plays a pivotal role in bolstering the economies of numerous nations across these regions. We recently published a high-quality genome of this species. To date, no study results have identified the optimal reference genes for quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) normalization in Dendrocalamus brandisii. qRT-PCR offers a highly accurate and effective approach to analyzing gene expression. However, the precision of the resulting quantitative data hinges on the correct choice of reference genes. Twenty-one potential reference genes were identified from the D. brandisii transcriptomes. Their expression in 23 samples, including 8 different tissue organs and 15 samples of D. brandisii under various treatment conditions, were evaluated through qRT-PCR. Subsequently, four software programs-Delta CT, geNorm, NormFinder, and RefFinder-were employed to compare their expression stability. The results revealed that the selection of optimal reference genes varied based on the particular organ and condition being examined. EF-1-α-2 consistently exhibits the most stable expression across diverse tissues, while ACTIN-1, TUBULIN-1, and EF-1-α-2 were the most consistent reference genes in roots, culms, and leaves under various treatments, respectively. In this study, we identified and characterized appropriate internal genes utilized for calibrating qRT-PCR analyses of D. brandisii across different tissue organs and under various treatments. This research will provide key insights for advancing the study of gene functionality and molecular biology in D. brandisii and related species.

Analysis Of Strategies for Strengthening the Online Game Industry Using an Industrial Cluster Approach

Based on data, as one of the creative economy sectors, the game industry has much potential to boost the Indonesian economy. The total market value of the games industry in Indonesia is US$ 1.92 billion or 25 trillion rupiah. However, Foreign developers from Europe and the US dominate the games industry market in Indonesia, making Indonesia only able to contribute 0.49% of total revenue. This research aims to map Indonesia's game industry players, analyse its ecosystem's environmental determinants, and formulate effective industry development strategies. This qualitative research uses interview methods with key informants, observation, and literature study, with purposive sampling as a sampling technique. The results show that the core industry value chain of the game industry cluster consists of Game Developers and Game Publishers and is supported by Supply industries (hardware providers, HR, digital content, and financial services) and supporting industries (marketing, logistics, law, and networks). There are related institutions/institutions such as the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs, the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the Indonesian Game Association. This industry is also related to animation, music, e-sports and tourism. This value chain ends with buyers. This research recommends concrete steps for relevant agencies to enhance the gaming industry ecosystem through human resource development, increasing access to financing, promotion and providing technological infrastructure. Collaboration across industries is expected to increase the global competitiveness and contribute significantly to the national creative economy.
