The international experience of motivating employers to provide safe working conditions for workers is considered. The economic incentive mechanisms applied were aimed at improving working conditions, workers' health, personal protective equipment and upgrading facilities. In order to achieve the effectiveness of the economic incentive’s mechanism as one of the most effective tools to motivate employers, it is proposed to amend the current legislation on occupational safety and health. It is proposed to improve the international experience of the mechanism for economic incentives for employers. To do this, it is necessary to exempt employers from value added tax, customs duties and fees for the purchase of imports of protective equipment, as well as equipment, materials, apparatus used to survey working conditions and implement measures to improve them. Introduce tax incentives for organizations producing means of individual and collective protection of workers.
