Design and simulation analysis of impact-resistant flexible drill pipe for rock-breaking rig

In the process of drilling and coring by the rock-breaking rig, the drill rod is affected by the intermittent impact force, which reduces the efficiency of the rig to break the rock and increases the cost of the drilling and coring. Therefore, it is very important to improve the impact resistance of the drill pipe during the rock-breaking process. To achieve this goal, a flexible design of the drill pipe was carried out, and a dynamical model of the drilling rig based on a series elastic actuator was established. Considering the dynamic performance of the system, a torque feedforward link is introduced and a control model based on the force source is established. The influence of the equivalent inertia of the transmission system and the series elastic actuator damping coefficient on the system stability was analyzed by drawing the frequency domain characteristic curve of the system. By using the control and Simulink simulation software, the electromechanical simulation of the model is carried out, and the torque step tracking response of the system is obtained. A torque feedforward link is introduced to establish the control model of the system based on force source. Through dynamic simulation software ADAMS, dynamic and static impact simulation experiments were carried out on the system. The results show that when a force of 200 N is applied to the output end of the drill pipe in the tangential direction, the maximum moments received by the joint under static and dynamic environments are 34.1 N·m and 57.9 N·m, respectively. When the impact force disappears, the time required for the flexible drill pipe to reach a stable state is only 0.15 s, which verifies that the series elastic actuator–based drill pipe model can alleviate the impact of the external environment and protect the internal structure of the rig.

Rigid flexible coupling dynamic analysis of piezoelectric jetting dispenser based on ADAMS

As dispensing technology needs accurate flow control, high performance spray dispensing has become the mainstream of dispensing technology. In this paper, the rigid flexible coupling dynamic simulation of piezoelectric jetting dispenser is carried out by using the dynamic simulation software ADAMS. In this process, the displacement and velocity of the needle under certain conditions are obtained. Then, according to the simulation results, the jetting dispenser driven by piezoelectric stack and the experimental test system are established. The dispensing process of the piezoelectric jetting dispenser is studied. The displacement of the needle in the dispensing process of the piezoelectric jetting dispenser is obtained by laser sensor, and the needle speed is obtained by analyzing the displacement of the needle. The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results, which proves the accuracy and feasibility of the simulation, and provides a method for the design and research of piezoelectric jetting dispenser.

Creative Design of Transmission Device for Workpiece Transfer in Production Line

It is necessary for the workpiece transfer system in the production line to realize periodic indexing and reciprocating oscillation motion. In view of the complicated structure of the traditional transmission device and the need of multiple driving motors, a creative design integrating the indexing transmission and the oscillating transmission is made based on the globoidal cam mechanism. Taking the material transfer system in the LED beam splitter as a design example, structural design and 3D modeling were carried out, and the 2D drawings were obtained. The virtual prototype of the overall transmission is established by the dynamic simulation software ADAMS and the angular displacement of the three output shafts is simulated. The simulation results verify that the scheme can meet the requirements of the workpiece transfer system.

Dynamic Simulation Research of Hydro-Mechanical CVT

In order to study the complex dynamic characteristics of hydro-mechanical CVT (hydro-mechanical continuously variable transmission), the gearbox machine dynamics simulation model based on AMESim was established for the most important of confluent planetary gear mechanism in the gearbox. Creo2.0 was used to draw 3D virtual prototype, and according to the actual movement of the link, added the corresponding constraints to get the planetary dynamics simulation model based on the multi-body dynamics simulation software ADAMS. Based on the classical formula of gear meshing force, the theoretical values of meshing force of planetary gear were calculated, and the dynamics analysis of planetary gear was carried out by using ADAMS. The simulation results were basically consistent with the theoretical values. It researched the influence of the speed regulation process on planetary gear engagement impact under the three case: speed regulation rate and speed direction, speed regulation under different load levels and different engine speed. The speed regulation under speed regulation rate and different load levels had obvious impact on planetary gear meshing force, the impact degree increased with the increasing of speed regulation rate and load; this work has good engineering and application value, and provides the reference for the structure optimization and adjustment.

Simulation Analysis of Automatic Motivation Based on ADAMS

With the dynamic simulation software ADAMS as the simulation platform, the virtual prototyping technology is applied to the dynamic research of the grenade launcher. The virtual prototype model is established. The kinematic parameters of the main mechanism are determined by simulation and the automata, the simulation results are in good agreement with the measured values of the shooting test, which proves that the simulation results are credible and provide a theoretical basis for the subsequent design of the grenade launcher.

Dynamic Simulation Analysis of Working Device for Hydraulic Excavator Based on ADAMS

Taking a certain type of excavator as the research object, the 3D models of its working device were established and assembled by 3D design software Pro/E. And then the 3D models were imported into dynamics simulation software ADAMS to build the virtual prototype system after adding constraints and load. Through simulation analyzing on working device during one work cycle time, the mainly articulated point’s load stress curves were obtained for working device. Thus proved its movement characteristics in line with the actual working condition, which provides the theory reference of design and analysis and uses as a design basis for hydraulic excavator working device.

Dynamic Simulation and Analysis on Elevating Process of Elevating Equilibrator

The elevating equilibrator is used to control the elevating angel of the director of a rocket launcher. Based on an elevating equilibrator, a method for co-simulation is introduced with dynamic simulation software ADAMS and hydraulic simulation software EASY5. A three-dimensional model of the elevating equilibrator is developed with Solidworks and is imported into ADAMS. Furthermore, the hydraulic system model is established by EASY5. The interaction of mechanical system and hydraulic system is analyzed. The analysis indicates that the modeling method for co-simulation is effective and practical.

Simulation on reliability enhancement testing technology of ramming system

Ramming system is the key device to guarantee the firing speed of self-propelled gun. Based on traditional reliability enhancement testing method, a new kind of reliability enhancement testing simulation method of ramming system is put forward firstly. In CAD software Pro/E and dynamic simulation software ADAMS, the virtual prototype of ramming system is established. In EASY5 software, the corresponding hydraulic system and control system models are built. The reliability enhancement testing virtual environment of ramming system is developed using the mechanical-electrical-hydraulic co-simulation technology. Based on the load spectra provided by virtual prototype, and the stress distribution provided by finite element analysis and material’s S-N curve (S is fatigue strength, N is fatigue life), a model of fatigue enhancement coefficient is established through the failure mechanism analysis. The simulation processes and simulation results show the feasibility of reliability enhancement testing based on virtual prototype, and provide sufficient theory reference for structure improvement and optimization of ramming system.

Dynamic Analysis of Electrical Control Components under Tank Gun Firing Impact

To acquire the dynamic characteristics of electrical control component under tank gun firing impact, the author simplified tank structure, combined the three-dimensional modeling software Solidworks and dynamics simulation software ADAMS, constructed a full vehicle dynamics simulation model of a main battle tank and simulated the firing of tank gun. The compare between experimental and simulated results proved the validity and reliability of this model. This set the foundation for the analysis of fault principles of fire control computer and its internal structure under the impact of tank gun firing.

The Simulation Analysis of Virtual Prototype of Hydraulic Shovel

Dynamic Simulation Research of Jaw Crusher with Multi-Joint Clearance

On the basis of dynamics simulation software ADAMS, we built dynamics models of jaw crusher with multi-joint clearance. Contrast the link’s displacement, velocity, acceleration and the contact force between deputy campaign elements of the single joint clearance with the double joint clearance. Because the coupling superimposed of the double joint clearance, the velocity, acceleration and contact force is more complex. The whole is greater than the consideration of only a single joint clearance .But in some short period of time, there will be an acceleration that the contact force of the double joint clearance less than the single joint clearance. The dynamic characteristics analysis of multi-joint clearance is closer to the actual work of crusher.It can provide a theoretical basis for the control and optimization of the jaw crusher .

Dynamics Simulation Research of Planar Four-Bar Mechanism with Multi-Joint Clearance

On the basis of dynamics simulation software ADAMS,using a simplified model of crank-rocker mechanism with gravitational field for the study.It built the model of contact force and the coulomb friction [1,2] to simulate the motion pair with clearance.This paper made a preliminary study on the effect of the multi-joint clearance on the dynamics characteristics of the institution.The result showed that mechanism with double joint clearance had little influence on the mechanism speed and had relatively large impact on mechanism acceleration.Mechanism with three joint clearance increased the impact on the speed and acceleration appeared greater fluctuation and changes in direction.However,the contact force with three joint clearance was more stable and smaller than mechanism with double joint clearance. This kind of model is closer to the object movement in reality, so it can predict the laws of motion and provides more reliable theoretical reference for precision、optimization and noise prevention design of institutions.

Virtual Prototype Modeling and Simulation of Remote Controlled Weapon Station

In order to make the physical characteristics and dynamics of the mechanical parts fully reflected in the control system, and to make the elevating mechanism and traversing mechanisms reliability enhanced, virtual prototype of remote controlled weapon station were established in ADAMS, on the basis of establishing the model of virtual prototype, the prototype were improved with modifying the parameters, And using the interface module of the electronic control software MATLAB and dynamics simulation software ADAMS, the co-simulation of mechanical systems and control system is done, and the motion rules at all levels of transmission system are obtained.

Dynamic Simulation Analysis for Docking Mechanism of On-Orbit-Servicing Satellite

The new type of three jaw docking mechanism is designed for use in orbiting spacecraft, the mathematical model is given and its working characteristics are analyzed. By establishing the mathematical model of the interaction of the parts under the different coordinate system, it is obtained that the corresponding kinematic characteristics; contact collision dynamics model is established by using the Hertz model theory, dynamic equation is established by Newton-Euler method, and simulation analysis are carried out by using the dynamics simulation software ADAMS, through the simulation analysis of three groups with different initial conditions, the results show that it achieve reliable grasp with good performance, it provides the lock claw curve in contact collision force and movement characteristics curve. These curves provide reference to improve the performance of docking mechanism.

Dynamics Simulation Research of Planar Four-Bar Mechanism with Multi-Joint Clearance

On the basis of dynamics simulation software ADAMS, we built dynamics models of planar four-bar mechanism, it built the model of contact force and friction to analysis the dynamics simulation of mechanism. we made a preliminary study on the effect on the flexible components and the backlash of the kinematic pair on mechanical system dynamics characteristics. The result showed that mechanism with single joint clearance had little influence on the mechanism speed and had some impact on mechanism acceleration. Mechanism with multi-joint clearance had bigger effect on the mechanism and acceleration appeared noticeable fluctuation, this model was closer to the phenomenon of objects movements in reality. The simulation results provided reliable reference of mechanical design.

Modeling and Simulation of Gait Analysis of Hexapod Robot

In order to solve the key issues such as the improvement of the movement smoothness of the center of mass and the movement coordination of each joint of the legs in the process the movement of the bionic hexapod robot, etc., establish bionic hexapod robot simulation model jointly by observing the movement characteristics and structural characteristics of the hexapod beetle and using three-dimensional modeling software SOLIDWORKS and mechanical system dynamics simulation software ADAMS and build the legs dynamic contact and collision model with the ground through the applied force constraint of ADAMS. Ultimately, form the global dynamics simulation model of the robot. Using the model the triangle gait of bionic hexapod robot is analyze, especially the straight and turning gait, which proves that the movement of robot is stable. The results lay the foundation for the further study and optimization of the bionic hexapod robot.

Dynamics Simulation Analysis of Impact Mechanism in Impact Vibration Roller

the paper adopts dynamic simulation software ADAMS for establishing virtual prototype model, and dynamics simulation analysis study is conducted on the impact mechanism in order to better study the impact mechanism in impact vibration composite roller with round idler wheels. The kinematics features and dynamics features are studied. The theoretical curves of rail disk opening size and driving angular velocity is obtained. The rail disk structure is improved, and it is proved through software simulation that the improved mechanism is beneficial for improving the impact efficiency of the roller.

Fatigue Life Analysis of Lifting Mechanism Rod Based on Virtual Prototyping and FEM

In order to calculate fatigue life of dump truck lifting mechanism’s structure components, a virtual prototyping model of lifting mechanism was built with Multi-body Dynamic Simulation Software ADAMS. The variation of applied force of lifting mechanism rod with lifting angle was obtained from dynamic analysis of lifting mechanism. A finite element (FEM) model of the rod was established using FEM Software MSC.PATRAN/NASTRAN, and its structural strength was analyzed. On this basis, S-N curve of the rod and linear cumulative damage law was combined to calculate the rod’s fatigue life with Fatigue Analysis Software MSC.Fatigue using nominal stress method. This study provided a reference for the design and improvement of the lifting mechanism.

The Motion Analysis on Lunge Material Mechanism in Sewing Machine

In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of lunge material mechanism in household sewing machine are simulated with the MATLAB software and the dynamics simulation software ADAMS. The displacement, velocity, acceleration of lunge needle is calculated with MATLAB and simulated with ADAMS. Then the curves of displacement, velocity, acceleration of lunge needle VS time are plotted with the two different softwares respectively. The angular acceleration and drive torque of crank is calculated and simulated either. Then, the contrast and discussion about the calculation and simulation is carried on. This research has some reference value for design and simulation of lunge material mechanism in sewing machine and other machines.

Dynamic Simulation of Concrete Pump Truck’s Boom System Based on Rigid-Flexible Coupling Model

The concrete pump truck’s boom system of 5 booms is taken as the research object in this paper. Combined with finite element theory and multi-body dynamics theory, a rigid-flexible coupling model of concrete pump truck’s boom system is established by modal synthesis method. With the measured displacement-time curve of turntable as the excitation, the booms’ pumping process in horizontal mode is simulated by the dynamic simulation software ADAMS. Through the field experiment results, the rationality of the modal is verified. It provides an effective method for dynamics analysis and structure improve of the concrete pump truck’s boom system.
