Innovation Research on the Training Mode of “Double Tutor System” integrating Production and Teaching in Hotel Management Specialty of Higher Vocational Colleges: Stakeholder Perspective

The “double tutorial system” education mode of hotel management major in higher vocational colleges is an important link in the construction of professional teaching staff. The core of this mode is that students get dual guidance from the school and the enterprise in both theory and practice. In the implementation process, we should make full use of school-enterprise resources, set up a double-tutor teaching team, implement incentive measures, and establish a guarantee mechanism, so that both the school and the enterprise can invest high-quality manpower, guaranteed material and financial resources, assume the corresponding responsibility of education, teaching and daily management for the quality of the students cultivated by cooperation, and seek the education effect that the school-enterprise students can win.

Feasibility Study on the School-enterprise "Double Tutorial System" Mode of Higher Vocational Hotel Management Major: Stakeholder Perspective

Industry practice-school learning integration is the main way to train students in higher vocational colleges. Sustainable industry practice—school teaching mode will benefit all stakeholders. Through literature research and hotel interviews, this paper explores the feasibility of the double tutorial system model for higher vocational hotel management major, establishes a model based on the stakeholder theory, analyzes the roles of various stakeholders, and makes some innovations in this field.

Application of double tutorial system teaching mode in ideological and comprehensive ability training of nursing students

Objective To explore the influence of double tutor teaching model on nursing students′ ideological quality and comprehensive ability cultivation in nursing clinical teaching. Methods From July 14th, 2015 to April 24th, 2016, a total of 136 full-time undergraduate nursing students in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University were randomly divided into experimental group (n=68) and control group (n=68) according to random number table method. Post tutor teaching mode was applied as clinical teaching method in the control group, while double tutor teaching mode was administered in the experimental group. Theory, nursing intervention had been tested in each ward during internship for both two groups as well as a unified practice examination form for comprehensive evaluation. Results Theoretical score, operation score, comprehensive evaluation, general scores of the experimental group students were higher than those of the control group (t=27.52, 14.82, 13.89, 14.95; P<0.01) . Conclusions Application of double tutorial system teaching mode in clinical nursing practice is conductive to improve theoretical knowledge, operation skills, strengthen the ideological quality of nursing students as well as to elevate their ability of observation, learning, adaptation and communication. Talents Cultivation of Outstanding Engineering Based on the Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers

In order to train outstanding engineering talents, our school proposed the third batch of Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers (PETOE) for agricultural mechanization and automation. First, PETOE is tried in a small scale, our school set up small class teaching class and equipped with high-quality teachers. Besides, it was encouraging for teachers to carry out teaching reform and establish the school and enterprise double tutorial system. The use of credit requirements, policy incentives and other ways were applied to strengthen extracurricular practice innovation. After several years of implementation, our school has initially formed outstanding engineers training mode with a self characteristics. The inherent law of personnel training is constantly explored. We summarize the successful experience and lessons from the implementation of the PETOE. Innovating agricultural engineering personnel training mechanism make it play its demonstration effect in a large scale.

Application of "whole-jobs" double tutorial system in clinical nursing teaching

Objective To analyze the effects of whole-jobs double tutorial system in clinical nursing teaching. Methods A total of 120 nursing students in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University from 2013 to 2015 were randomly divided into the experimental group and control group with 60 cases respectively. Control group used the traditional jobs teacher teaching mode, while the experimental group adopted whole-jobs double tutorial system teaching mode. Clinical comprehensive ability and the nursing students' evaluation of the teaching mode were compared between two groups. Results After the practice, the score of the clinical comprehensive ability of the nursing students in the experimental group was (87.54±2.09) , while the score in the control group was (73.89±2.15) . There was statistically significant difference between two groups (t=1.781, P<0.05) . The satisfaction rates of nurses to the clinical whole-jobs were 96.7% in the experimental group and 90.0% in the control group, with statistically significant difference between two groups (χ2=6.287, P<0.05) . Conclusions The whole-jobs double tutorial system has significant teaching effects, with a high satisfaction of nursing students to the clinical teaching method, thus it can be promoted in clinical teaching of nursing students. Innovation of the educational model for graduates with anesthesia specialty degree through practice of the double tutorial system
