The authors generalise an earlier interacting kink model (i.e. that flat domain wall model) (1983, 1986) for ordering kinetics of layered Ising magnets. The generalisation is necessitated by the instability against long-wavelength undulations of flat domain walls caused by attractive domain wall interactions. The undulations have the effect of accelerating the ordering processes which are still triggered by domain wall annihilations due to attraction. The predicted scaled scattering structure function is in remarkable agreement with the experimental result of Ikeda (1983, 1986), with no adjustable parameter, with the characteristic length growing logarithmically in time.
