From fumble to flourish: how workplace attachment drives service recovery performance

PurposeDrawing on the conservation of resources theory and attachment theory, this paper proposes that employee–organization relationship and satisfaction with work–life balance mediate the influence of workplace attachment on service recovery performance.Design/methodology/approachData collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires among a sample of healthcare providers from Lebanese private hospitals and analyzed via structural equation modeling.FindingsThe results indicate that workplace attachment has a significant impact on employee–organization relationship, satisfaction with work–life balance and service recovery performance. The findings further reveal that employee–organization relationship and satisfaction with work–life balance significantly influence service recovery performance and fully mediate the relationship between workplace attachment and service recovery performance.Originality/valueThis study is the first to investigate the mediating role of the employee–organization relationship and satisfaction with work–life balance between workplace attachment and service recovery performance. Over and above, this study is the first of its kind that the authors are aware of, being conducted in the healthcare sector, specifically in Lebanon. Based on the findings, the paper discusses the theoretical contributions, managerial implications and suggestions for further studies.

Understanding the mechanism of safety attitude mitigates the turnover intention novice nurses via the person-centred method: A theory-driven, deductive cross-sectional study.

Examine profiles of safety attitudes among novices and explore whether profiles moderate the occupational identity-turnover pathway. Novice nurses face unique challenges in adopting positive safety attitudes, which influence outcomes like turnover. However, past research found only average levels of safety attitudes among novices, ignoring possible heterogeneity. Exploring whether meaningful subgroups exist based on safety perspectives and factors shaping them can provide insights to improve safety attitudes and retention. This study was designed as a cross-sectional investigation. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires. Descriptive statistics were first conducted, followed by latent profile analysis. We then carried out univariate analysis and ordinal multinomial regression to explore the factors shaping the different profiles. Finally, we examine the moderating effect of nurses' safety attitudes with different latent profiles on the relationship between professional identification and turnover intention. A total of 816 novice nurses were included. Three profiles were identified: high, moderate and low safety attitudes - higher attitudes were associated with lower turnover intention. Interest in nursing, health status, identity and turnover predicted profile membership. Moderate profile had a stronger buffering effect on the identity-turnover link versus high profile. Multiple safety attitude profiles exist among novice nurses. Certain factors like interest in nursing and occupational identity are associated with more positive safety profiles. Targeting these factors could potentially improve safety attitudes and reduce turnover among novice nurses. The moderating effects suggest that tailored interventions matching specific subgroups may maximize impact. Assessing subgroup attitudes enables tailored training for novices' specific needs, nurturing continuous improvement. Supporting early career development and role identity may strengthen retention intentions.

SHARIA MICROFINANCE MODELS: A GRAMEEN BANK APPROACH FOR SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION AND WELFARE ENHANCEMENT

This research aims to build a model for strengthening Sharia microfinance through an adapted Grameen Bank replica based on the pillars of leadership, collaboration, spirituality, and women's freedom. This research used a quantitative method to analyze a Grameen Bank replica or build a model for strengthening Sharia microfinance. It provides an early description of the model's independent and dependent variables using Path Investigation and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data were gathered through participatory observation methods, interview techniques, and the distribution of SEM questionnaires to MFI managers and beneficiary customers. The findings indicate a link between the influence of the Grameen Bank-based Islamic Microfinance Institution system on partners in terms of leadership, cooperation, economy, community, and spirituality, as well as alternative strategies for strengthening Grameen Bank-based MFIs in improving the welfare of women's microbusiness groups. This research encourages more attention and implementation of Islamic microfinance models in an effort to improve social and economic welfare, especially among vulnerable groups such as women micro-entrepreneurs.

PT. XYZ. Indonesia: An Analysis of the Impact of Individual Characteristics on Job Satisfaction and Its Effect on Organizational Commitment

This study aims to ascertain how personal qualities and work-related factors affect organizational commitment in P.T. XYZ Indonesia City. 170 P.T. XYZ Indonesia City employees were given questionnaires to complete to collect the data. A questionnaire serves as the study's main source of data, and the distribution of questionnaires to respondents—or questionnaires that take the form of a series of written questions submitted to respondents and request written responses—is the study's data collection technique from P.T. XYZ Indonesia employees. The statistical research utilized the Amos application to process and evaluate the data using structural equation modeling (SEM). The authors employed this study's Structural Equation Model method for modeling and hypothesis testing. Structural Equation Modeling, or SEM, is a group of statistical methods that enables the simultaneous assessment of complex relationships. This study utilized two analysis methods: regression weight in SEM and confirmatory factor analysis, which determines which factors among a set of variables are the most important. Individual and job factors that affect the organizational culture of The P.T. are among the variables measured. Indonesia City is XYZ. According to the statistical test analysis, P.T. XYZ Indonesia City's organizational commitment is influenced by personal traits, workplace qualities and job pleasure.

The Influence of Prices and the Application of Shopee Live Features on Consumer Purchase Decisions on the Shoppe Marketplace in Kediri City

The quicker innovative improvement makes businesses develop, one of which is E-Commerce. Ecommerce makes it simpler for buyers to shop. Cost is one important variables in customer purchase decision. To attract the attention of buyers, e-commerce is progressively creating its features, one of which is the Live Streaming Shopping feature that gives the impression of real life to customers. This study points to test costs and Live Streaming Features on Shopee Customer Purchasing Decisions in Kediri City. Information collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires distributed to 110 Shopee customers in Kediri City with random sampling techniques and the analysis method used was multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS tools. The results of the study found that price features a significant impact on customer purchasing decisions, while Live Streaming does not have a significant effect on buyer purchasing decisions, but partially Cost and Live Streaming Shopping Together have a significant impact on consumer purchase decision.

Determinants Factor Of Employee Performance: Evidence From UD Putra TS

Good performance among team members is an important step to achieve a goal that has been implemented by an organization. Thus, an effort is needed to increase their productivity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of adherence to work procedures and values embedded in the organizational structure on employee performance at UD Putra TS, Majalengka. This study focuses on UD Putra TS, Majalengka, and has a population sample of 150 employees. This study used a saturation sampling strategy, with data acquired by observation, interviews, and questionnaire distribution. The data analysis carried out by the researchers was using the linear regression method through SPSS software version 23. The analysis's findings demonstrate that organizational culture, which has also been shown to have a positive and significant impact on employee performance at UD Putra TS, Majalengka, and compliance with work procedures (work discipline) both positively and significantly affect employee performance at the school. Additionally, employee performance at UD Putra TS, Majalengka is positively and significantly impacted by both organizational culture and adherence to work processes (work discipline).

Factors Affecting Millennials and Gen Z Preferences in Using Cashless Payment Systems in DKI Jakarta

This research aims to determine the effect of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived security, income, education level and generation on Millennials and Gen Z preferences in using cashless payment systems and to find out which factors have the most influence. This research is a quantitative research with analytical technique using linear multiple regression. The research uses primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with the sample criteria being cashless payment users aged 15–40 years. The research shows that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, income, and generation have a positive and significant effect on Millennials and Gen Z preferences in using a cashless payment system. Whereas, perceived security and education level have no effect on Millennials and Gen Z preferences in using a cashless payment system. Perceived usefulness is the factor that most influences Millennials and Gen Z preferences in using a cashless payment system. To increase perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, providers can improve the service quality of the cashless payment system so that users can access it more easily. To increase the perception of security, Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) made stricter regulations related to the protection of users’ personal data. To increase the use of the cashless payment system, the providers carry out promotions more often to attract the public’s attention and also carry out socialization to increase public understanding of the cashless payment system. The Influence of Corporate Social Responsibility in the 2022 Desa Brilian Program on Bank Rakyat Indonesia's Brand Awareness [Case Study: Burai Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency

This study aimed to find out about the influence of corporate social responsibility (CSR) which consists of the variables of Human Resources (people), Profit (prosperity), and Environment (planet) on the company’s brand awareness in this study using the Desa Brilian 2022 Program in Burai Village, Tanjung Batu Subdistrict formed by PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia. The data used was primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to 100 respondents using random sampling techniques and analyzed using the F-test, T-test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study showed that there is a significant influence of the variables people, prosperity¸ and planet towards Bank Rakyat Indonesia’s brand awareness either simultaneously or partially and the dominant variable influencing brand awareness in this study is the Environment factor (planet). Green Products: Green trust on Green Equity

The aim of this research is to prove the determining factors that can strengthen the value of Sensatia Botanicals brand green products. he criteria used were respondents who had used beauty products who were at least 20 years old and lived in the city of Denpasar and a sample of 100 respondents who were measured based on the number of indicators used. Distribution of questionnaires and interviews will be used as data collection methods. The questionnaire is measured using a Likert scale which will be tested using the validity test and reliability test of the instrument so that the questionnaire is suitable for use. The analysis technique that will be used in this research is a simple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this research prove that green trust has a positive and significant influence on green brand equity. In the future, this research can be used as a reference for companies in implementing policies related to strategies to increase the brand value of green products in a positive direction.

The Influence of Trust, Perception of Usefulness, Quality of Service on Interest in Using Credit Cards with Customer Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at Bank Mandiri Regional Credit Card Arief Rate Makassar

Indonesia offers two primary payment methods: cash and non-cash. Cash transactions involve physical currency, whereas non-cash transactions rely on financial institutions facilitating inter-bank and intra-bank transfers through internal networks. Among the non-cash options, credit cards stand out, enabling users to access funds seamlessly. The attractiveness and practicality of credit card services spark customer interest. This study seeks to explore how trust, perceived usefulness, and service quality impact customer inclination towards credit card usage, with satisfaction acting as a mediator. Employing a quantitative approach, data collection includes observation, literature review, documentation analysis, and questionnaire distribution. The study involves a sample of 100 credit card users at Bank Mandiri Regional Credit Card Arief Rate Makassar. Analysis methods encompass descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and path analysis. Findings reveal that trust, perceived usefulness, and service quality positively and significantly influence both customer satisfaction and interest in credit card usage. Furthermore, customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between trust, perceived usefulness, service quality, and customer interest in credit card utilization at Bank Mandiri Regional Credit Card Arief Rate Makassar.

Application of Games-Based Mathematics Learning in the Preschool-Elementary Transition

The results of this study aim to understand the use of Elementary Mathematics Games in Mathematics and Science Learning for PIAUD and PGMI Study Program Students during the PAUD-SD transition period. The research design used a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaire distribution. The results of the study found that: 1) Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics Games amounted to 92%; 2) the technique of using Elementary Mathematics Games in lecture activities has increased by 85%; 3) the difficulty faced in the process of using SD Mathematics Games amounted to 80%; 4) the integration technique of SD Mathematics Games is very easy to apply in activities Mathematics and Science Learning in PIAUD and PGMI Study Programs is 90%; 5) The percentage of usefulness in the use of Elementary Mathematics Games in the Mathematics and Science Learning process in the PIAUD and PGMI Study Programs is 95% with a benefit level of 76-100%. Thus, the use of Elementary Mathematics Games can be used in developing material from teaching materials for lecturers, teachers, and students in learning process activities.

Impact of Employees’ Perceptions of Organizational Downsizing Practices on Their Commitment

Sri Lanka is presently facing with its most severe financial crisis in decades, with the building and construction sector being significantly affected. This study aims to investigate whether employees’ perceptions of organizational downsizing practices influence their commitment. It was conducted as a cross-sectional study among a sample of 204 employees from three downsized construction firms in the Colombo District. The sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique, and data were collected through the distribution of an online standard questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 23.0, employing descriptive statistics, correlation, and simple regression. The analysis revealed that employees’ perceptions of their organizations’ downsizing practices have a significant positive impact on their levels of affective, continuance, and normative commitment. Effective communication throughout the downsizing process, including before, during, and after, is recommended as a means to mitigate the adverse effects of downsizing on employee commitment.

The impact of third-person effect on social networking sites privacy risks and protective measures adoption among Yemeni students in Malaysia

This investigation utilized the Third-Person Effect (TPE) theory to comprehend how individuals perceive the impact of Social Networking Sites (SNS) privacy risks on themselves versus others. The TPE theory posits that individuals tend to believe that media messages, particularly negative ones, exert a diminished or negligible influence on themselves but wield a substantial impact on others. First introduced by Davison in 1983, this theory has historically been employed to examine perceived negative influences in media content, such as stereotyping and pornography. The current study focuses on the perceptions of individuals regarding the influence of SNS privacy risks, specifically among Yemeni students in Malaysia. The study aimed to achieve three primary objectives: Firstly, to investigate whether individuals perceive SNS privacy risks as affecting others more than themselves. Secondly, to examine the connection between the difference in perceived risk between oneself and others and the likelihood of recommending SNS privacy protective measures to others, and Thirdly, to evaluate the relationship between the difference in perceived risk between oneself and others and the likelihood of adopting SNS privacy protective measures for oneself. Through judgmental sampling, a total of 387 participants took part in the study, involving the distribution of an online questionnaire as the primary data collection instrument. The results of the study indicate a pronounced Third-Person Effect concerning SNS privacy risks among Yemeni students. Additionally, the study revealed that these students not only recommended privacy-protective measures to others but did not adopt the same measures for themselves. In summary, the findings support the validity of the Third-Person Effect (TPE) theory in the context of SNS privacy risks, suggesting that individuals tend to perceive the impact more on others than on themselves when experiencing fear.

Examining the Necessity and Significance of Implementing Cross-Cultural Management Practice in Shanghai, China

The core focus of cross-cultural management lies in examining how individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds collaborate within organizational settings. The primary aim of research in cross-cultural management is to tackle various issues concerning organizational behavior, such as leadership approaches, methods of motivation, organizational frameworks, and the intricate dynamics of culture, drawing insights from fields like sociology and anthropology. This particular study endeavors to evaluate the significance of integrating cross-cultural management methodologies within Yixin Energy Technology Co. situated in Shanghai, China. Employing a quantitative methodology, 158 responses were garnered through the random distribution of questionnaires. Statistical analysis was conducted utilizing SPSS, encompassing descriptive analyses, variance assessments, and multiregression examinations to decipher the collected data. The findings indicate that the three principal factors investigated in this study collectively account for roughly 38.1% of the variance observed in cross-cultural management within multinational corporations. Specifically, social culture influences cross-cultural management by 23.3%, governmental policies by 35.0%, management approaches by 21.8%, and overall cross-cultural management by 28.7%. These results furnish statistical validation endorsing the imperative nature of cross-cultural practices, a recognition embraced by Yixin Energy Technology Co. in Shanghai, China. It is advised that businesses formulate diverse cross-cultural training programs tailored to the distinct needs of expatriates at various levels to effectively enhance their cross-cultural competencies.

Utilization Of Computer-Based Accounting Information Systems And Competency Towards Financial Report Transparency With Financial Report Quality As A Moderation Variable

Purpose: This study aims to examine (1) the effect of the use of computer-based accounting information systems (SIA) on the quality of financial statements in organizations located in the Depok City Government. (2) The effect of competence on the quality of financial statements in organizations located in the Depok City Government. (3) The effect of transparency on financial statements in organizations located in the Depok City Government. Method: This study used a type of quantitative research. The source of data in this study is using primary data obtained from the results of questionnaire distribution. The population in this study is 13 OPD, 1 Regional Secretariat, and 2 Agencies in Depok City. In this study, the number of samples was 68 peoples. Finding: The results of this study show that the use of computer-based accounting information systems (SIA) has a positive effect on the quality of financial statements while competence has a negative effect on the quality of financial statements. Transparency variables are proven to moderate the relationship between the use of technology-based SIA and competence on the quality of financial statements. Novelty: The novelty of this research, the researcher adds a moderating variable of tranparancy and report quality.

Peningkatan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Biologi dengan Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe The Learning Cell

The lack of student participation in learning is caused by teachers not paying attention to students' psychological conditions, so that students experience difficulties in learning which has an impact on low motivation and student learning outcomes. The effectiveness of learning, learning motivation and learning outcomes need to be improved through a learning process using a cooperative model of The Learning Cell type, namely a concept that places more emphasis on raising questions which is the key to learning. The purpose of this research is to determine the increase in motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students using the cooperative learning model type The Learning Cell. The type of research used is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. This research measures the results of observations of the implementation of teacher and student activities, motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students using observation sheets on the implementation of teacher and student activities, as well as questionnaires and evaluation tests. The results of the research show that the percentage of implementation of the results of observing teacher activities in cycle I was 82.57% which was included in the good category and cycle II increased with a percentage of 89.28% in the very good category, while the results of observing the implementation of student activities in cycle I was with a percentage of 60. % in the quite active category and increased in cycle II with a percentage of 85% in the very active category. Student motivation was obtained from the distribution of questionnaires in the first cycle which was in the good category at 80.60% and in the second cycle it increased to 82.56%, still in the good category. Student cognitive learning outcomes are obtained from evaluation tests that have been prepared and distributed to students at the end of each cycle, in cycle I it was 65%, so students were not yet said to be classically complete and continued in cycle II which experienced an increase of 87%, so student learning outcomes on the subject of interdependence in ecosystems, it is stated to be classically complete. Based on these results, it can be concluded that by implementing the cooperative learning model of The Learning Cell type, it can increase the motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of Biology students at SMP Negeri 2 Kayangan.

Development of Flip Book-Based Cooperative Training Module to Enhance The Creative Character of Cooperative Administrators

Cooperatives play a key role in supporting the growth and progress of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in various economic sectors. Training can be done to develop the quality of human resources, including training and developing the creative way of thinking of cooperative administrators. This research aims to produce a flip book-based cooperative training module to improve the creative character of cooperative administrators. The research method used is research and development. The modified model used is the ADDIE design. Evaluation by experts and individual trials of the training module resulted in recommendations for revision, receiving a rating of "very good." Research data came from 23 representatives of cooperative administrators who participated in the training, with small group test results also reaching the "very good" category. Data collection was carried out through interviews, group discussions (FGD), consultation with experts, and the distribution of questionnaires. The results of the field trial showed that the flip book-based training module significantly improved the creative thinking abilities of the training participants. Thus, the research results conclude that the flip book-based cooperative training module has been tested for its feasibility and can be effectively used in basic training for cooperative administrators to improve creative character. The increase in creative character can be seen from comparing the pre-test and post-test scores of the training participants. The average pre-test score for training participants before using the flip book-based training module media was 7.36, while the average post-test score for training participants after using the flip book-based training module was 8.23. The students' pre-test and post-test gain test results obtained a score of 69.35% in the "quite effective" category. The increase in creative character can also be seen from the results of the creative character questionnaire for cooperative administrators, which had a percentage value of 81.25% or was categorized as very strong. This means there is a very strong increase in the creative character of cooperative management after attending the training.

Analisa Faktor Pengaruh Purchase Intention Melalui Engagement Sebagai Mediasi dan Brand Equity Sebagai Moderasi Pada Pengguna Media Sosial

This study aims to investigate the factors that influence the purchase intention of social media users. The research examines the impact of social presence, psychological distance, trust, engagement, social media marketing, electronic word of mouth (EWOM), and brand equity on purchase intention. Engagement is identified as a mediator, and brand equity as a moderator in the relationship. Data was collected from 290 reSPondents through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of the data analysis indicate a positive correlation between trust, engagement, EWOM, and brand equity with purchase intention. However, there is no significant effect of social presence, psychological distance, and social media marketing. Additionally, the results showed no mediating effect of engagement, and the moderating impact of brand equity was less than 5%.

The Impact of Workplace Spirituality on Employee Performance

The contemporary workplace, characterized by its rapid pace and dynamism, acknowledges the profound impact of work spirituality on employee productivity. This research explores the influence of spirituality in the workplace on employee performance through the examination of meaningful work, a sense of community, and organizational trust. Utilizing a quantitative approach with questionnaire distribution among academicians from business and management faculty at a local university in Selangor was conducted. Based on Pearson Correlation analysis, the result reveals a significant positive correlation between meaningful work, a sense of community, organizational trust, and employee performance. All hypotheses were accepted, indicating their positive influence. Moreover, Multiple Regression analysis highlights the substantial impact of workplace spirituality on employee performance. Practically, the study emphasizes aligning efforts for employee development with the recognized factors of workplace spirituality. In conclusion, organizations are urged to acknowledge and integrate spiritual elements in the workplace for a positive impact on employee performance.

How is Reflective Practice in Learning? A Science Teachers Perspective

Reflective is a thinking process that can be carried out by teachers, leading to improvements in effective classroom management and quality and improving student performance, so that reflective practices are indispensable in teaching and learning practices. This study aims to describe the reflective practice of science teachers in junior high schools. Primary data were collected based on the teacher’s experience in teaching science learning, highlighting three aspects including reflective action, the form of reflective action, and follow-up to reflective activities. This qualitative study was conducted through the distribution of online questionnaires. The results indicate that reflective action in learning by science teachers is always carried out, but the form of reflective action has not yet involved many peers, principals, and supervisors. Most often done by teachers themselves, to accept other people’s thoughts, learn, or share good practices have not fully occurred. The follow-up of reflective activities has not been followed by changes to the design of further learning in the lesson plan, but teachers are more focused on changing the teaching process that they do in class independently.
