Study on the Location of Cold Chain Distribution Center Considering Scale Effect

People are paying more attention to the freshness of cold chain products when making choices. Establishing cold chain distribution centers can improve the timeliness and service quality of cold chain logistics. Cold chain distribution centers require significant investment, necessitating a more scientific approach to site selection. Furthermore, compared to regular distribution centers, cold chain distribution centers exhibit clear economies of scale, thus necessitating careful consideration of these economies of scale during site selection and construction. The paper analyzes the scale effect of the cold chain distribution center, and constructs a cold chain distribution center location model considering the scale effect. The objective function of the model includes the related costs of the cold chain distribution center location, such as fixed cost, operating cost, transportation cost, loss cost and carbon emission cost, etc., with the minimum total cost as the function objective. Finally, this paper designs a calculation example design. The model calculation example is solved by Lingo software, and the optimal location plan of the cold chain distribution center is obtained. The calculation example results verify the effectiveness of the model.

A multi-objective optimization model for the location of cold chain logistics distribution center based on trust domain optimization algorithm

Cold chain transportation refers to a logistics method that transports fresh, perishable, and perishable items from the place of production, processing or warehouse to the place of consumption under certain temperature conditions. As consumers have higher and higher requirements for food safety and quality, the cold chain logistics industry has also developed rapidly. In order to solve the problem of location selection of cold chain logistics distribution center, this paper first defines the service reliability and calculation method of cold chain distribution center. Then, the location model of the cold chain logistics distribution center and the trust domain optimization algorithm model were established. The model aims to minimize the total cost, while considering multiple factors such as transportation distance, temperature control, facility construction, etc., to ensure the reliability and operational efficiency of the cold chain logistics distribution center. Finally, this paper introduces an example for calculation to prove the feasibility and universality of the model in the location problem of cold chain logistics distribution center. Through the calculation of examples, it can be seen that the model can effectively reduce the cost of cold chain transportation and improve the service quality and efficiency of cold chain logistics distribution center. In summary, this paper proposes a reliable location model and trust domain optimization algorithm model for cold chain logistics distribution centers to solve the challenges faced by the cold chain logistics industry. This model can provide guidance for cold chain logistics companies to gain a greater advantage in a highly competitive market.

Environmental cold chain distribution center location model in the semiconductor supply chain: A hybrid arithmetic whale optimization algorithm

This study addresses the high cost and high carbon emissions associated with the transportation sector. An environmental cold chain logistics distribution center location model has been designed by considering various constraints such as demand, time windows, and cost factors associated with cargo damage, refrigeration of cold chain cargo, and carbon emissions. An environmental cold chain logistics distribution center location model is designed for the raw materials of low-temperature storage and transportation in the semiconductor supply chain to achieve sustainable development by reducing carbon emissions. This study effectively reduces transportation costs and carbon emissions. To address the issues of slow convergence speed and susceptibility to local optima in the conventional whale optimization algorithm (WOA), a hybrid arithmetic whale optimization algorithm (HAWOA) is proposed by combining arithmetic optimization and the honey badger algorithm. Simulation analysis shows that the HAWOA is capable of obtaining the location scheme with the minimum distribution cost under the same number of iterations, which provides a substantial advantage compared to other algorithms.

AP clustering algorithm for analysis of the impact of cold chain distribution center location on logistics costs

ABSTRACT The distribution center is a transit place for goods in the logistics network, used to achieve the distribution of goods. Compared with ordinary logistics, cold chain logistics has higher requirements for timeliness due to the low temperature or ultra-low temperature requirements of transport objects. Aiming at the problems of high cost and low efficiency of cold chain distribution center location, a new location model of cold chain distribution center is developed. The Affinity Propagation (AP) clustering algorithm is used to simplify location selection. And combine the binary semantics with entropy to reduce the subjectivity of the binary semantics in the process of experiment. The results show that the location selection using the research method is optimal, and the problem that multiple secondary distribution centers are the same retailer will not appear. The research method is more objective and scientific for the location of cold chain distribution centers.

Collaborative site selection study for cold chain distribution centers under low carbon policies

In order to solve the problem of cross-layout of cold chain logistics network and optimize the resource allocation of small and medium-sized cold chain logistics enterprises, based on the concept of low-carbon economic development and with the aim of minimizing the total cost, this paper constructs a cold chain distribution center location model including refrigeration cost and carbon emission cost from the microscopic perspective of enterprises, and selects two small and medium-sized cold chain logistics enterprises for simulation, and the simulation results show that the model can achieve the effect of saving operation cost, goods flow cost, carbon emission cost and refrigeration cost.

Location of Logistics Distribution Center Based on Improved Bald Eagle Algorithm

The location of a logistics distribution center is a complex combinatorial optimization problem, and it is difficult to achieve the best results by traditional mathematical methods. This paper proposes an improved bald eagle search applied to logistics distribution center location selection for the first time, one which uses the chaotic operator to initialize the population, increases the diversity of populations, and introduces a sine and cosine algorithm in the search stage. It increases the global search ability of the algorithm and the ability to jump further out of the local space. Through test function and location simulation experiments, it is proved that the improved algorithm has obvious advantages over other common algorithms in solution accuracy and convergence speed. It can effectively improve the efficiency of logistics distribution when applied to the location of logistics distribution centers. Finally, the improved bald eagle search algorithm is used to optimize the location model of logistics distribution center. The experimental results show that the improved bald eagle search algorithm has good solving ability in this problem, can be obtained to minimize the distribution cost, save the distribution cost effectively and improve the distribution efficiency. It can further optimize the logistics management system and increase the efficiency of logistics enterprises. Compared with similar algorithms, such as WOA, WCA, PSO, the results are improved.

Research on E-commerce Logistics Distribution Path Planning Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm

With the rapid development of the Internet, e-commerce business has gradually emerged. However, its logistics distribution route planning method has problems such as redundancy of logistics data, which cannot achieve centralized planning of distribution paths, resulting in low e-commerce logistics distribution efficiency and long distribution distances, higher cost. Therefore, in order to improve the ability of logistics distribution path planning, this paper designs an e-commerce logistics distribution path planning method based on improved genetic algorithm. Optimize the analysis of e-commerce logistics distribution nodes, establish a modern logistics distribution system, and optimize the total transportation time and transportation cost under the location model of the logistics distribution center. Using hybrid search algorithm and improved genetic algorithm parameters, an improved genetic algorithm distribution path planning model is established to select the optimal path of logistics distribution, and realize e-commerce logistics distribution path with high accuracy, low error and good convergence. planning. According to the experimental results, the method in this paper can effectively shorten the distance of e-commerce logistics distribution path, reduce the number of distribution vehicles, reduce distribution costs, improve distribution efficiency, and effectively achieve centralized planning of logistics distribution. Therefore, the e-commerce logistics distribution route planning method based on improved genetic algorithm has high practical application value.

Bi-objective trapezoidal fuzzy mixed integer linear program-based distribution center location decision for large-scale emergencies

This paper aims at solving three important and challenging issues: (i) How to build a 0-1 mixed integer linear program-based distribution center location model for large-scale emergencies (we call emergency distribution center (EDC) location model for short). (ii) How to develop an effective method to convert the trapezoidal fuzzy EDC location model into a crisp one. (iii) How to demonstrate the validity, flexibility and superiorities of the constructed model and developed method. Considering the acceptance degree of fuzzy constraints to be violated, this paper defines a novel flexible ranking relation for trapezoidal fuzzy numbers (TrFNs) by using the α-cut set and analyzes its desirable properties. A bi-objective trapezoidal fuzzy EDC location model (BTFELM) is built for reflecting the urgency and uncertainty of large-scale emergencies. Some essential definitions and theorems are proposed for equivalently converting the fuzzy constraints of the BTFELM into crisp ones. By employing the graded mean integration representation of TrFN, the BTFELM is ultimately transformed into a single objective crisp EDC location linear program. Wenchuan earthquake case is studied to illustrate the practicality and validity of the proposed method. Furthermore, the sensitivity and comparative analyses are provided to justify the flexibility and superiorities of the proposed method. Finally, the accuracy analyses are conducted to illustrate the reliability of the proposed method.

Research on Location Selection of Agricultural Products Logistics Distribution Center Based on Two-stage Combination Optimization Algorithm

The development of agricultural product logistics has a great impact on agricultural development. With the advancement of modern agriculture, agricultural product logistics is also facing important changes. On the basis of spatial analysis to determine the candidate address of the distribution center, this paper takes the lowest comprehensive cost as the objective function, establishes the distribution center location model, and solves it through the immune algorithm. On the basis of determining the distribution center, a distribution route optimization model with hard time windows for multiple distribution centers is established, and the tabu search method is used to solve the problem. According to the demand for time-sensitive fruit and vegetable agricultural products in a certain area and the actual circulation and distribution of fruit and vegetable agricultural products in newly developed enterprises, it is combined with the work done by the fruit and vegetable time-sensitive cold chain location planning model. Taking the grape distribution of Xinfadi Co., Ltd. in a certain area as an actual example of the model, using LINGO to solve and analyze the site selection model constructed in the paper, it verifies that the site selection plan for agricultural products that takes into account the characteristics of a complete cold chain and time-efficiency in this paper has a comprehensive low cost advantage.

Location Model of Fresh Agricultural Products Logistics Distribution Center Based on Network Nodes

The high logistics cost of fresh produce is the main problem that restricts the distribution of produce. How to reduce the logistics cost of fresh agricultural products, improve the utilization rate of logistics facilities, and improve distribution efficiency and service levels has become the key to research. As an important hub for fresh agricultural products, the fresh agricultural product distribution center can effectively integrate supply and demand information and is the key to ensuring the efficiency of fresh agricultural product distribution, especially to meet the urban fresh agricultural product distribution needs. The fresh agricultural product urban logistics distribution center has the characteristics of small service radius, small scale, many distribution batches and high distribution frequency. Finally, combined with the calculation steps of the immune algorithm, the solution steps are designed for the location model of the urban fresh agricultural products logistics distribution center, and the actual calculation examples are studied using MATLAB software programming, and the distribution center is obtained based on the low model. Through the method of this article, the transportation speed of fresh agricultural products logistics distribution center location has been increased by 13%.

A New Hybrid Algorithm for Cold Chain Logistics Distribution Center Location Problem

According to the perishable characteristics of refrigerated food and the objective of minimizing the total cost, the mathematical optimization model of cold chain logistics distribution center location problem is established by introducing such constraints as the freshness and time window. In order to solve the problems of slow convergence and easy to fall into local optimal solution in the process of the traditional wolf colony optimization, an immune wolf colony hybrid algorithm is proposed to solve the location problem of distribution center. In this hybrid algorithm, the idea of vaccination of immune algorithm is introduced into the wolf colony algorithm. By adjusting the antibody concentration and selecting immune operator, the diversity of the wolf colony algorithm is improved, and then the search space of the solution is expanded; the convergence speed and solution accuracy of the wolf colony algorithm are improved by using immune memory cells and immune vaccine. The simulation results show that the immune wolf colony algorithm can quickly converge to the global optimal solution and optimize the location model of logistics distribution center. The algorithm has good feasibility and robustness.

Research on the Location Model Based on Clustering Local Search Algorithm under Electronic Commerce

Internet is changing customers’ consumption patterns and the manufactures’ sale model. With the development of the computer network technology and the electronic commerce, more and more firms establish the electronic sale channel and get great profits. The huge supply chain network is established through the new idea and the technology. In this paper, we propose an improved local search algorithm- clustering local search algorithm (CLSA) to solve the hybrid location problem. We apply this method to distribution center location model and get the optimal solution. Result shows that this method can avoid the exponential explosion and get a good solution. In numerical analysis, we compare this method with simulated annealing method and ant searching algorithm. The numerical analysis demonstrates that this CLSA method not only classifies simply and flexibly, but also has the characteristic of fast search speed and small search space.

Study on Manufacturing Enterprises Distribution Center Location

The problem of one-level distribution centers is researched in this paper. It is a customer-oriented problem. This paper is from the perspective of manufacturing enterprises. The assumed conditions about location are put forward. The costs associated with distribution center location are analyzed. Distribution center location model is built by 0-1 mixed integer programming. And the software LINGO is used to solve the model. Distribution center location algorithm is verified by an example in the paper. The example explains that combining 0-1 mixed integer programming with LINGO is simple and effective to distribution center location.

Research on Logistics Distribution Center Location Model Based On GIS

Based on the advantages and disadvantages of location model in the analysis of the traditional distribution center, a GIS-based logistics center location model is established. First, the located targets and the main factors of the distribution center are determined. A Joint Replenishment Inventory-Location Model

We introduce a distribution center location model that incorporates joint replenishment inventory costs at the distribution centers. The model is formulated as a Fixed Charge Location Problem (FCLP) which objectively considers not only location specific costs but also inventory replenishment costs. In the joint replenishment problem we consider a single item and several distribution centers in different locations and apply a similar algorithm to the one used to solve the multi-item problem. We propose a Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure (GRASP) to solve the problem.
