A New Security Method for the Internet of Things Based on Ciphering and Deciphering Algorithms

Internet of Things (IoT) is an advanced application scenario of Internet and becomes buzzword in current world of distributed application platform. Security is one of the biggest challenges to the private and sensitive data processed through the IoT. In this research paper a cryptographic algorithm technique is being proposed to provide more security of information flowing through the distributed network under IoT system The proposed cryptographic algorithm is capable of providing the enhanced security of data and information from the sensor or Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) sub systems of IoT to communication network such as Internet to cloud storage. The main features of this proposed algorithm is the simplicity, adaptability under distributed applications and its ability to encrypt and decrypt all types of data..

Implementation of Cloud Computing on Web Application

Cloud computing is a new method to add capabilities to a computer without licensing new software, investing in new hardware or infrastructure or training new personnel. Applications are purchased, licensed and run over the network instead of users desktop. It provides common business applications online that are that are accessed from a web browser, while the software and data are stored on the servers. The web is a global hypertext system, has evolved into a distributed application platform, in which the application logic and user interface are two separate entities. As we move toward the cloud computing web platform, web from web content to web of applications, the bulk of user data applications will reside in the network cloud. Web applications are a critical part of internet infrastructure and are used for banking, email, financial management, online shopping, auctions, social networking and the corporations such as Google, Microsoft and yahoo expend considerable effort to keep up with the growing demand for communication-heavy internet services which require image and video sharing, social networking and searching. There is a shift from displaying information using locally installed programs towards displaying information on a browser. In this paper, we give special importance to the connection between cloud computing and web application. Also we discuss the advantages of cloud computing and survey challenges and issues related to cloud computing.

The Comandos Distributed Application Platform

This paper presents an overview of the Comandos distributed application platform. It begins by presenting the scope and objectives of the platform before introducing its main concepts, design choices and overall architecture. An overview of the various prototype implementations of the platform undertaken within the Comandos project is also presented. In addition, the paper provides an introduction to the other papers on Comandos in this issue and sets the context for the research reported therein.

‘Y’ distributed application platform

Motto: Q: Why is it called Y? A: Y not? The main rationales and design concepts for the ‘Y’ system, which is currently under development are presented. Y provides a platform for the development of distributed applications in a cooperative, heterogenous, open environment. This environment can be characterized as a ‘service market’ where different service providers offer different services in different locations at different costs and qualities. In the Y architecture, four planes are identified, and the solutions adopted for each plane are outlined.
