This is a bibliographic and documentary study related to the analysis of a Pedagogical Course Project (PPC) of a private institution, chosen due to the experience of working as a professor in a Biomedicine undergraduate course, in the distance learning modality, of another private educational institution. In this sense, reflections are made about the proposal of training biomedical professionals, specifically on the configuration of the course in the distance learning modality, guided by the following guiding questions: What are the legal regulations that guide the configuration of the Biomedicine course in the distance learning modality? What legal determinations are established to ensure the quality of the course in this modality? How is a Biomedicine course configured in the distance learning modality based on these regulations? It is concluded that there are legal regulations, both general and specific, that establish reasonable quality parameters for offering Biomedicine courses in the distance learning modality, which we identified in the appreciated PPC. It was also found that the Federal Council of Biomedicine has an important role in regulating and overseeing the training of biomedical professionals. In the experience as a professor, it is perceived that students of a distance learning course are very interested and participative during the in-person moments of practical components.
