Mathematical Problem Solving Through Mobile Learning Development Based on Assemblr Edu

Assemblr EDU based on mobile learning as a learning resource can be accessed anytime and anywhere. However, the utilization of these learning resources has not been optimal, so it has an impact on the quality of mathematical problem–solving abilities that need to be improved. The purpose of this research is the development of teaching materials through mobile learning based on EDU Assemblr. The method used is the development of the ADDIE model. Collecting data through observation techniques, interviews, studies from linguists, media design experts, content experts, tests, and questionnaires. The implementation phase of the trial has been carried out on students of class XI MIPA 7 State Senior High School in Bandung, Indonesia. In data analysis, the problem–solving ability test was analyzed quantitatively, and the questionnaire was analyzed qualitatively. The development of mobile learning based on Assemblr EDU received proper criteria from experts. The level of effectiveness and practicality of teaching material products is categorized as sufficient, so that it gets a good attitude from teachers and students. The development of mobile learning based on EDU assemblr as a learning resource facilitates the process of concept construction, interaction, and reflection so that there is an increase in students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. MOBILE LEARNING: FUTURE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES FOR ISLAMIC FORMAL EDUCATION (A LITERATURE STUDY)

The utilization of mobile learning media is a manifestation of 21st century educational methodologies. This research is prompted by the rapid rise in the usage of smartphones, iPads, and other mobile devices. This study aims to conduct literature research on how effective the use of mobile learning is, the challenges in its implementation, and the extent of mobile learning development in the scope of Islamic religious education. To find out this, the researcher used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data and information were collected by reviewing every article that has a relationship with the effectiveness of mobile learning in the scope of Islamic Religious Education from 2018 to 2023. The results show that mobile learning is effectively used in the scope of Islamic Religious Education by integrating several media such as Android-applications, E-books and other media, but with a note that it is necessary to hold mobile media-based content creation training for teachers.

Exploring the Conceptual Framework of Mobile Learning Technology

The idea of introducing new technologies to education is not new, and as a result, research on this topic has been carried out for years. However, the rate of introduction of new technologies in higher education in Uzbekistan is very slow. The purpose of this article is to propose a conceptual framework for the development of mobile learning, in particular, the introduction of mobile applications into the educational process in primary education. This goal is achieved by analyzing the existing measures and the existing foundations of mobile education, which are used to improve the quality of education through the active use of information and communication technologies. The proposed system includes three main elements: applied computing, information systems, and theory of computation. It is important that each of them is done correctly and that there is continuity between them.

Development of Android-Based Interactive Mobile Learning with Guided Inquiry Models to Improve Higher Order Thinking Skills on Light Wave Material

This research aims to produce Android-based interactive mobile learning with a guided inquiry model of light wave material that is able to improve students' HOTS abilities. This research is a 4D model type research. The research was conducted at MAN 1 Ponorogo, MAN 2 Ponorogo, and SMAN 1 Badegan. The research subjects were 149 class XI MIPA students who gave a pretest-posttest. Student pretest-posttest data were analyzed using 1-way ANOVA to determine the differences in students' HOTS skills in the control and experimental classes. Based on the 1-way ANOVA test, it was found that there were differences in students' HOTS abilities in the two classes. Classes that use Android-based interactive car learning get higher results compared to classes that don't use Android-based interactive car learning.

Development of Basic Geology Mobile Learning Based on Android Indonesia Geodiversity Area

Basic Geology is a prior knowledge that needs to be supported by a flexible learning environment through the use of mobile technology. Through the supports of mobile technology, students will gain freedom of access because they can be used anytime and anywhere. The progress and speed of technological development, the ease and practicality of using smartphone devices are the potential, opportunities and challenges for presenting mobile technology in learning. The presence of generation Z who are already familiar with technology has reinforced the need to utilize technology to accommodate them in learning better. The aim of this development research is to produce a learning product in the form of a Basic Geology mobile learning application to support learning anywhere and anytime and to determine the feasibility of the product in terms of media and materials, as well as responses from users. This research uses the Lee & Owens model in developing mobile learning applications. Data was collected using a questionnaire filled out by media experts, material experts and service users in the Indonesian Geodiversity Area. The results of this research are (1) user needs for mobile learning to support Basic Geology learning by providing learning resources and building learning communities, (2) producing Basic Geology mobile learning products, (3) results of feasibility tests by media experts, material experts and Individual, small group and field trials show that mobile learning is suitable for use in learning.Keywords: geodiversity; basic geology; mobile learning

Development of Multimedia-Based Mobile Learning in Class X SMKN Informatics Subjects

This research discusses the development of multimedia-based mobile learning in class X informatics subjects of SMKN. The purpose of the research is to develop a mobile learning product based on multimedia in class X informatics subjects at SMKN. This research method is development research (R&D) with a 4D development model. The population in this study was all grade X students at SMKN 1 West Pasaman. The sample of this study amounted to 25 respondents taken from one class X at SMKN. The data collection tool used a questionnaire with a total of 19 question items. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quacitivative, using Likert scale. The results of research on learning media development by media validators 1 and 2 were obtained " 4.95" with the category "Very Valid". For material validators on the feasibility aspects of content, presentation, and evaluation, "4.10" was obtained with the category "Valid". The results of the practicality test to students on multimedia, it was concluded that the assessment carried out by students obtained results of “4.53” with the category "Very Practical"

Utilising Tiktok Features for Speech Communication

The art of teaching speech communication should be varied according to current trends. Teaching speaking should focus on the practice of the language, which should be done in pairs or groups. However, the COVID-19 pandemic restricted students from attending schools, making speaking in English impossible. Social distancing was enforced and still is now, when they returned to school, ruling out group activities or much speaking in classrooms. This was an issue among English language teachers in Malaysia as the teaching of English uses a modular system that comprises Listening and Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Listening and speaking could not be conducted at will. Pupils were deprived of opportunities to practice the English language in classrooms. Therefore, the suggested course of action was to improve speech communication by utilising the technologically useful application TikTok and its essential functionalities. This study aims to investigate how TikTok features can improve speech communication and examine learners' perceptions after applying the TikTok features to improve their speaking skills. The instruments used for this study are speaking rubrics for speaking tests and a questionnaire. A purposive sampling of 100 students was used. The results show that the respondents scored higher in their post-test than their pre-test after using TikTok to improve their speech communication. All respondents perceived the use of TikTok as positive and encouraging. The implication of the findings includes introducing innovative speaking practice measures such as the development of mobile learning, and a renewed teaching methodology to teach speech communication.

This study develops a mobile learning strategy in the course of "Communication in Advocacy" through the Research and Development (R&D) approach. Literature review indicates that mobile learning can enhance learning motivation, active participation, and accessibility to learning materials. In the context of this course, an integrated approach is needed to enable effective interaction among students and instructors, as well as to foster deep and critical communication skills. This research contributes to the development of mobile learning by designing engaging instructional strategies, ensuring synergistic curriculum integration, maintaining effective communication, and utilizing the latest technologies. The study has the potential to transform the paradigm of learning in the "Communication in Advocacy" course through the creative, critical, and innovative use of mobile learning.

Developing Android-Based Chemistry Learning Media Using the Inquiry Model to Improve Students’ Learning Outcomes and Critical Thinking Ability

Students’ critical thinking and their ability to learn outcomes depend on the learning design and student activities. Most of the students use their free time by playing gadgets. Students learn faster with the features contained in gadgets than learning from sources in the form of textbooks. This phenomenon is the background for researchers to develop android-based chemical media which has several menus that can be explored by students in learning. Android-based chemical media was developed using the Smart Apps Creator application. This study aims to develop a digital media that is compatible with the android system. In this study the media is used to improve cognitive learning and critical thinking. In addition, it also aims to evaluate the responses of students in learning chemistry through the topic of Oxidation Reduction Reactions. The development of this media was adapted from the procedure of the interactive mobile learning development process. The collection of evaluation data models that are applied are pre-test and post-test in the test class. Based on the results of the development carried out, it can be concluded that the developed android-based chemical media has met the appropriate criteria. This media can help educators in the learning process effectively and optimally and make students interested in learning chemistry.

Effectiveness of Physics Mobile Learning in Generation Z: A Literature Review

Today, the using of mobile learning tools are much needed. One of those mobile learning is physics mobile learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using physics mobile learning in physics learning in generation z students. The analysis was carried out on journal articles that have implemented physics mobile learning. The research subjects consisted of twenty five journal articles selected from the Scopus Index database, Web of Science (WOS), Google Scholar, or ERIC from 2012 to 2022. The data have already been analyzed related to improved orientation aspects, and research methods. The results of data analysis indicate that the use of mobile physical learning can have a positive impact on enhancing the different abilities of students, such as HOTS abilities, diagrammatic and argumentative representation skills, and students' conceptual understanding. According to our analysis of the development of physics mobile learning, students consider these apps to be an interesting and useful addition to traditional teaching, as they allow them to easily access multimedia resources and learn almost anywhere and anytime. This means that more research is needed to develop mobile learning physics in other physics concepts used and improved orientation aspects.

Pembuatan Mobile Learning untuk Ibu Mengenali dan Mengatasi Permasalahan Anak Usia Dini Sulit Makan Menggunakan Metode Waterfall

The research aims to develop a mobile learning app for mothers to help them identify and solve early childhood problems that are difficult to eat. The development method used is the Waterfall method, which involves structured stages such as needs analysis, planning, implementation, testing, and maintenance. At the need analysis stage, we conducted surveys and interviews with mothers who had early childhood to understand the challenges they faced in dealing with their children's eating problems. Next, at the design stage, we design an application interface, educational content, and interactive features that will help you understand this issue better. Application deployment involves software development based on the design that has been made. After that, we tested the application to ensure its functionality and effectiveness in helping mothers identify and deal with early childhood eating problems. We also involved moms as test users during this phase to get valuable feedback. The results of this study show that the use of the Waterfall method in the development of Mobile Learning for early childhood problems that are difficult to eat produces applications that can help mothers significantly. The application provides relevant information, practical advice, and community support for mothers facing this problem. In conclusion, the Waterfall method has proven to be effective in producing mobile learning applications that are useful to mothers in dealing with early childhood feeding problems. The app has the potential to enhance mother's understanding of their children's nutrition and provide better solutions to dealing with eating problems in early childhood.

Mobile Learning Research Trends in Indonesia: A Systematic Literature Review

The existence of mobile devices and advances in technology has made mobile learning one of the learning trends in schools ranging from elementary to high school and even college in Indonesia. This content analysis research aims to systematically analyze trends in the development of mobile learning in Indonesia based on analysis of articles found in international and national journals. Based on the search results obtained 61 articles. Article analysis uses the Paper Classification Form (PCF) instrument which has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of the analysis, the most widely used research method for mobile learning is Quasi-Experiment (44%) by testing the results of Research and Development (82%) of mobile learning products. Most mobile learning is for high school students (57%). Android Mobile Learning Apps (52%) are the most widely used mobile learning products in research. Learning outcomes (19%) are the most dominant bond variables related to mobile learning. This result can be used as a reference for research on the development of mobile learning media using the Android platform in science learning in schools.

Development of Mobile Learning Based E-Module to Improve Concept Understanding and Interest Learning X Class Student in Momentum and Impulse

This study aims to develop multiple representation-based electronic modules with the help of mobile physics learning on momentum and impulse material in class X MIPA. The research wants to test the effectiveness of e-modules based on their validity in increasing students' understanding of concepts and learning interest. The research method used is quantitative with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The subjects of this research were students in class X MIPA 2 and X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Kalasan. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest research design. There are two instruments used, namely test and non-test instruments, as well as data analysis techniques using Microsoft Excel. The results of the study show that the use of multiple representation e-modules assisted by physics learning cars is feasible to be used as teaching materials. In addition, the results of differences in pretest and posttest scores and interest in learning in the modeling class were 86% and in the implementation class were 88% indicating an increase in learning interest received by students.

Optimization of mobile learning in land surveying material for vocational high school students: A preliminary study

This study aimed to identify students' learning needs related to integrating mobile device technology and creative thinking skills in learning land surveying. This was done by looking at students’ responses based on media use, opportunities for media development, and supporting facilities for developing learning media. The participants of this study were 155 second-year students of the building engineering study program at Vocational High Schools. Mobile learning needs analysis indicators were prepared as a questionnaire instrument to achieve research objectives. This study used a quantitative approach, and the results of student responses were analyzed descriptively and presented in percentages. The findings revealed that 59.7% of respondents "agreed" and 40.3% "strongly agreed" to support the development of learning media that integrated cellular technology and creative thinking into the learning process of land surveying and was supported by the availability of learning support facilities. The conclusion is that the use of cellular technology in the learning process is directly proportional to students' abilities in operating and owning a smartphone, and that in the development of mobile learning as an alternative learning medium for land surveying has enormous opportunities. This study recommends the product of learning media using mobile learning methods and creative problem-solving approaches to train students to get used to creative thinking skills in developing their life skills.

Mobile learning as a new technology in education

The article discusses mobile technologies as a new direction in education. The specific features of mobile learning in different variants of interaction of subjects of the educational process in the "teacher-student" system are revealed. The article examines the set of pedagogical conditions that determine the need for the development of mobile learning as one of the leading technologies of the knowledge management system in modern education. The possibilities of effective use of mobile learning in the conditions of technical equipment and psychological readiness of the subjects of the modern educational process are analyzed. Attention is drawn to such factors as the growth of uncertainty and the complexity of information flows in the competitive environment of the developing "digital universe", which requires the rapid mastery of numerous forms of interaction.

The development of mobile learning based physical fitness learning media in grade x high school students in Pasuruan Regency

This research aims to develop a mobile learning-based learning media based on physical fitness material for high school students in grade ten. The method used in this study is research and development. The data collection technique uses interviews with sports teachers and the distribution of questionnaires to grade ten students at Senior High School 1 Purwosari, Senior High School 1 Gondangwetan, and Senior High School 1 Lumbang. The data analysis technique in this study utilized a Likert scale which examined the gradation of the score. The products are firstly validated by experts, such as media, learning and material experts. The score results of each validator are 93% of the scores from the validation of media experts, 82% of the scores from the validation of learning experts, and 84% of the scores from the validation of material experts, while for large group trials, the score obtained is 85%. Thus, referring to the data results, the development of the product in this research is feasible, can be used and disseminated.

Development and Evaluation of a Software Product Line for M-Learning Applications

The popularity of mobile devices in all social classes has motivated the development of mobile learning (m-learning) applications. The existing applications, even having many benefits and facilities in relation to the teaching-learning process, still presents problems and challenges, es- pecially regarding the development, reuse and architectural standardization. Particularly, there is a growing adoption of the Software Product Line (SPL) concept, in view of research that investigates these gaps. This paradigm enables organizations to explore the similarities and variabilities of their products, increasing the reuse of artifacts and, consequently, reducing costs and development time. In this context, we discuss how systematic reuse can improve the development of solutions in the m-learning domain. Therefore, this work presents the design, development and experimental evaluation of M-SPLearning, an SPL created to enable the systematic production of m-learning applications. Specifically, the conception of M-SPLearning covers from the initial study for an effective domain analysis to the implementation and evaluation of its functional version. In this regard, the products have been experimentally evaluated by industry software developers, pro- viding statistical evidence that the use of our SPL can speed up the time-to-market of m-learning applications, in addition to reducing their respective number of faults.

Development of Mobile Learning Based Electronic Student Worksheets to Measure Learning Motivation on Sensing Systems Materials

The material of the sensory system is important because in the sensory system there are several kinds of senses and the nervous system which is still abstract and the problem that occurs is a misconception about the material. Motivation is one of the factors that support success in learning, but students learning motivation is still low. This study aims to produce valid and feasible mobile learning-based electronic student worksheets and to measure students learning motivation on sensing system materials. The research subjects were students of class VIII MTsN 8 Banyuwangi. This study uses Research and Development methods and 4D models with 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and dissemination. The instrument used was a material validation questionnaire, medial, readability, and students' learning motivation. The validation results show the average percentage of the material test is 94% and the media is 94% with very feasible criteria. The percentage of the students' readability test has an average value of 71% with a good category and the students' learning motivation is very strong with a percentage of 82%. Thus, electronic student worksheets can measure students' learning motivation. For future researchers, it is recommended to use the product in classroom learning

An Analysis and Research on Chinese College Students' Psychological Barriers in Oral English Output from a Cross-Cultural Perspective.

English, as China's second language, is a part of the overall quality of the people. Mastering this universal language in the world is required to communicate with the world. The most important purpose of learning a language is to communicate, and listening and speaking ability is the most important language skill. However, under the influence of the test-oriented education model, English teaching in our country places too much emphasis on the cultivation of reading and writing ability and neglects the training of oral expression ability. In this context, this research proposes an oral English teaching assistance program for both teachers and college students and plans to build an artificial-intelligence-based oral English teaching assistance system. The combination of ability and oral English teaching solves the drawbacks of traditional oral English teaching and establishes a new teaching form for college students' oral English teaching. Combined with the popular trend of Internet electronic teaching methods, it realizes a free and online platform for learners to correct and improve pronunciation, laying a certain foundation for the development of mobile online English pronunciation learning in the future and solving the psychological barriers to college students' oral English output.
