DIGITAL TEACHING MATERIAL OF SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE THEME WITH ETHNO-PJBL TO PROMOTE STUDENTS’ KNOWLEDGE AND CREATIVE THINKING ABILITIES

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effects of digital teaching materials on the theme of sustainable lifestyle integrated with Ethno-PjBL on knowledge and creative thinking skills in learning in the Merdeka Curriculum. Theoretical Framework: The idea behind the development of digital learning materials on the theme of sustainable lifestyle is to promote awareness and practice of sustainability among students through the integration of technology in learning. By combining a project-based learning model enriched by local cultural values (Ethno-PjBL), students are not only invited to understand the concept of sustainable lifestyle, but also how to apply it in their cultural context. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental method with a posttest only control group design. The sample of this study was grade X students at SMAN Kota Jambi, with the experimental class using integrated digital teaching materials ethno-PjBL and the control class using conventional learning methods. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tests, Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality tests, and Mann-Whitney tests. Results and Discussion: Digital teaching materials on sustainable lifestyle themes integrated with ethno-PjBL have a positive impact on students' knowledge and creative thinking skills. The experimental class using the digital teaching materials showed better results compared to the control class using conventional learning methods. Research Implications: The results of this study support the integration of sustainable lifestyle-themed digital teaching materials with the Ethno-PjBL approach, which not only strengthens students' academic knowledge, but also fosters creative thinking skills and awareness of local cultural values. The findings of this study can encourage educators and policy makers to further adopt and develop contextual and relevant digital teaching materials, especially those that focus on global issues such as sustainability, but are still integrated with local wisdom. The implications of this study also open up opportunities for further research to explore the potential of digital teaching materials in other subjects or at different levels of education.

Persepsi Peserta Didik Terhadap Penggunaan Teknologi Pembelajaran Pada Mata Pelajaran Seni Budaya di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 2 Kupang

This study aims to reveal students' perceptions of the use of learning technology in the subject of Arts and Culture at State Vocational High School 2 Kupang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that most students have a positive perception of the use of learning technology. Students feel more interested, motivated, and easy to understand learning materials. However, there are several obstacles encountered, such as limited access to technology and lack of teacher skills in using technology. This study concludes that the use of learning technology has great potential to improve the quality of Arts and Culture learning at State Vocational High School 2 Kupang. The effectiveness of the use of technology in the context of arts and culture learning and provides recommendations for teachers and schools in integrating technology optimally. The main challenges in the use of learning technology are the lack of adequate infrastructure, lack of training for teachers, and lack of variation in the use of technology. To overcome these challenges, efforts need to be made to improve technological infrastructure, ongoing training for teachers, and the development of more varied technology-based learning materials.

Peer feedback in higher education: How students’ roles affect providing and receiving feedback

In this study, we aimed to explore the impact of different roles of feedback providers on their experience of providing feedback, as well as their influence on the feedback receivers’ responses to feedback. The students who performed the assignment (creating learning material) assumed the role of peer experts (N=22) in providing feedback. The other students (N=22) took on the role of peer users as they used the developed learning materials. The data on the students’ experiences were collected using the Intrinsic Motivation Inventory. The response to feedback was explored via interviews with the peer experts. Findings indicate that the peer experts exhibited a higher sense of competence than the peer users. Their feedback was perceived as more clear, specific, and useful than that provided by the peer users. According to the Self-Determination Theory, we highlight the importance of different task design features for students’ sense of competence, relatedness, and autonomy.

Understanding Learning Technology In the Industrial Revolution Era 5.0

The concept of learning technology in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and 5.0 eras has undergone significant changes, including personalization. This concept views that learning technology in the Industrial Revolution 5.0 era prioritizes personalization, namely providing a learning experience that is in accordance with the needs and abilities of individual students. There are several new concepts in learning technology, including: (1) Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI is used to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, such as data analysis, performance evaluation, and development of learning materials; (2) Internet of Things (IoT) which allows the use of sophisticated devices and sensors to collect data and monitor student performance, so that it can be used as evaluation and development material; (3) Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR). VR/AR technology is used to create a more interactive and immersive learning experience, so that students can be more motivated and involved; (4) Big Data, namely big data technology used to collect and analyze data from various sources, so that it can be used as evaluation and development material for the teaching and learning process; (5) Cloud Computing which allows wider accessibility of learning materials and learning platforms, so that students can learn anytime and anywhere; (6) Gamification is used to create a more engaging and interactive learning experience, so that students can be more motivated and involved; (7) Microlearning allows students to learn in a short time, but remains effective and efficient; (8) Mobile Learning which allows students to learn using mobile devices, so they can learn anywhere and anytime; and (9) Open Educational Resources (OER). OER allows students to access learning materials that are widely available and free. Unlike in previous industrial revolution eras, the Industrial Revolution 5.0 era makes learning technology adaptable to current business and industry needs, such as: (1) Skills Development, namely learning technology must be able to improve students' abilities in various fields, such as technology, data analysis, and communication; (2) Learning technology must be able to improve students' abilities in various industrial fields, such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and IoT; and (3) Digital Literacy, namely learning technology must be able to improve students' abilities in using digital technology effectively and efficiently.Overall, learning technology in the Industrial Revolution 5.0 era must be able to adapt to these changes and provide a more effective, efficient, and focused learning experience.

Construction of Civic Knowledge about Morality through the Development of Digital-Based Learning Materials

AbstractMoral education has become an urgency in shaping students' character through school learning. The purpose of this research is to produce a digital-based learning material product that is suitable for use by Pancasila Education teachers in the learning process for students. The research method used is research and development using the 4D development model consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Product validation will be conducted by content validator, media validator, Pancasila Education teacher, and 33 seventh-grade students. The results of the study show that moral education is a need for students to overcome deviant behavior. Teachers must also be able to create effective, efficient, and enjoyable learning activities. The developed digital-based website learning material obtained a very suitable category from the content expert validation with a score of 91%, media expert validation 98%, Pancasila Education teacher assessment 92% and was considered very interesting by students with a score of 91%. It can be concluded that the digital learning material with the material on the position, function, and application of Pancasila values is highly suitable and recommended for use in the Pancasila Education learning process.-----------------------------AbstrakPendidikan moral menjadi urgensi dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik melalui pembelajaran di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menghasilkan produk berupa materi pembelajaran berbasis digital yang layak digunakan oleh guru Pendidikan Pancasila dalam proses pembelajaran pada peserta didik. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu research and development dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Uji validasi produk akan dilakukan oleh validasi materi, validasi media dan guru Pendidikan Pancasila serta siswa kelas VII sebanyak 33 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa edukasi moral menjadi kebutuhan siswa untuk mengatasi perilaku menyimpang. Guru juga harus dapat menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang efektif, efisien, dan menyenangkan. Materi pembelajaran berbasis digital website yang dikembangkan memperoleh penilaian kategori sangat layak dari validasi ahli materi dengan skor 91%, validasi ahli media 98%, penilaian guru Pendidikan Pancasila 92% dan diperoleh kategori sangat menarik dari siswa dengan skor 91%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa materi pembelajaran digital dengan matan materi kedudukan, fungsi dan penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila sangat layak dan direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Tingkat Keterbacaan dan Keefektifan Kalimat pada Teks Narasi sebagai Bahan Ajar Membaca Pemahaman di Buku Narasi Literasi Bahasa Indonesia Kelas IX Terbitan Direktorat Pendidikan

Reading comprehension skills are a major focus in Indonesian language learning, especially in grade IX, as narrative comprehension helps students relate information in a broader context. The purpose of this study is to provide comprehensive guidelines for the development of more effective Indonesian learning materials and to strengthen the reading comprehension skills of grade IX students. This study evaluates the readability using Fry's Graph Formula and the effectiveness of sentences in narrative texts as teaching materials for reading comprehension in grade IX Indonesian literacy narrative books. By using the Fry's Graph Formula analysis method, this research helps to adapt the text to the intended grade level. Of the six narrative texts analyzed, there are three that have good readability, two that have poor readability, and one that has poor readability. In addition, this study analyzed sentence ineffectiveness. Sentence ineffectiveness can be caused by various reasons, such as word inefficiency, inaccurate use of conjunctions, inaccuracy in word usage, inaccurate use of punctuation, and meaninglessness. The results of the study provide insight into the quality of grade IX Indonesian literacy narrative teaching materials and contribute to improving students' reading comprehension and ability. The readability and effectiveness of the sentences in the grade IX Indonesian literacy narrative book are very important to ensure that the material presented can be well understood by students, thus having a positive impact on the learning process and the achievement of learning objectives.

Model Pengembangan Kurikulum Merdeka Berbasis Integrasi Indigenous Knowledge

This research aims to provide insight and inspiration for educators, curriculum developers and other stakeholders in enriching students' educational experiences through the integration of Indigenous Knowledge in the independent curriculum. An independent curriculum refers to an approach that places students as active subjects in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Testing the validity of data in qualitative research uses triangulation, while data analysis uses data reduction, data display or data presentation, and conclusion. The research results of this research are; (1) adapting the curriculum to the vision of the institution, (2) developing learning materials and resources, (3) training and support for teachers with an independent curriculum development model based on the Integration of Indigenous Knowledge (indigenous knowledge) using the Beauchamp model with steps to respect cultural diversity, determining curriculum coverage, determining the parties involved, formulating the objectives, implementation and implementation of the curriculum and evaluation.

Stock and Sauce Teaching Materials for European Culinary Courses: Vocational Education

This research is motivated by learning less effective activities because educators must provide detailed information while teaching materials could be more supportive. In addition, the lack of teaching materials will make it difficult for students to carry out learning activities outside of learning hours. The research aimed to develop learning materials related to broth and sauce in European culinary courses. The study used a research and development design adapted to the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The subjects involved in this study were third-semester students of the Tata Boga study program selected by total sampling because the number of students was less than 100. The data collection methods used were document analysis, observation, interview, and questionnaire distribution. Then, the data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The research findings show that the learning materials developed as e-modules cover students' attitudes, cognition, and skills. The developed product is very feasible and has positive student responses.

Optimization of basic chemistry learning: Validation of stem-based problem-based learning materials for chemical equilibrium

Background: The objective of this study is to create Basic Chemistry learning materials focused on the topic of Chemical Equilibrium using a STEM Problem-Based Learning approach. Effective learning is necessary to enhance students' understanding of complex chemistry concepts. Method: This study adopts the STEM Problem-Based Learning material development method, utilizing the ADDIE model, which consists of five steps: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. After the development process, the learning materials were assessed through an expert review stage. Evaluation was conducted to assess the validity of the design, pedagogical validity, and content validity using Aiken's coefficient as an indicator. Results: The expert review evaluation results showed high Aiken's coefficients: 0.98 for design validity, 0.95 for pedagogical validity, and 0.96 for content validity. These findings confirm that the developed learning materials comprehensively meet validity standards. Conclusion: Based on these evaluation results, it can be concluded that the developed Basic Chemistry learning materials, particularly on Chemical Equilibrium using the STEM Problem-Based Learning approach, meet the validity criteria. Therefore, these learning materials are considered suitable for use in the Basic Chemistry learning process. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study integrates the STEM Problem-Based Learning approach into developing Basic Chemistry learning materials, specifically on Chemical Equilibrium. Using the ADDIE model and comprehensive validation, this study presents a new framework for designing learning materials that simultaneously meet design, pedagogical, and content standards.

This study aims to determine how much influence reward and punishment have on motivation to learn Arabic. This study uses a quantitative approach and is included in the type of correlation research with 54 respondents out of 108 students who have been selected using a random sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire. Technical data analysis using multiple linear regression. Research result: (1) There is a significant effect of reward on student learning motivation with a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05 and a tcount of 3.355 > a ttable value of 2.008, then Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted. (2) There is no significant effect of punishment on student learning motivation with a significance value of 0.190 > 0.05 and a tcount of 1.329 < a ttable value of 2.008, then Ho2 is accepted and Ha2 is rejected. (3) There is a significant effect of reward and punishment simultaneously on students' learning motivation with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and an fcount of 8.184 > a ftable value of 3.179, then Ho3 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted. From the results of this research, educators are expected to often provide motivational words and develop learning materials using interesting media and learning methods. So that the learning process becomes fun and students can be more active in class.

Application of TPACK for Student Learning Motivation in Science Subjects in Elementary School

Motivation Learning science and technology in elementary school is a problem faced by teachers. Students think social studies lessons are boring so teachers need to apply Technology Pedagogy and Content Knowledge (TPACK) to increase student learning motivation by integrating technology in learning, creating relevant, active and varied learning experiences, as well as facilitating effective collaboration between students, and can improve student engagement and understanding. This research aims to develop TPACK-based teaching media to increase learning motivation in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning. This research is included in the Research and Development (RD) category, using the ADDIE development model as stages in developing learning materials. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used parametric statistical methods, namely the t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The research results show that: (1) there are significant differences in motivation to learn science S especially historical material between the TPACK learning model and the conventional model, the t - test results show a significance value of 0.002 or sig (2-tailed) 0.05; (2) the use of the TPACK learning model has been proven to be more successful in increasing students' motivation in studying historical material compared to conventional approaches. This was revealed from the posttest results, where the experimental group that took part in TPACK-based learning achieved an average score of 71.52, while the conventional group only achieved an average score of 58.89.

This article explores the design of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning management in Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT). With a literature research approach, this article identifies critical aspects in the direction of PAI learning, which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Important aspects of planning include setting learning objectives that focus on developing aspects of religion, morals, and character of learners; relevant and contextual curriculum analysis; development of integrative learning materials; varied and interactive learning methods; use of technology in learning; and comprehensive evaluation and assessment. The implementation of education at SIT emphasizes the integration of Islamic values in the learning process, effective use of media, and active involvement of students. The monitoring and evaluation phase involves assessing knowledge, worship practices, attitudes and behaviors, as well as student projects and assignments. The article also highlights the importance of parent and community involvement and the professional development of PAI teachers. In conclusion, the design of PAI learning management at SIT requires a holistic approach that integrates pedagogical, technological, and community aspects to create a compelling and conducive learning environment for the spiritual development and Islamic character of learners

Developing A Flipbook for Introduction to English Grammar Course with Project-Based Learning Approach

This study aimed to create a digital coursebook as a flipbook for the Introduction to English Grammar course using Project-Based Learning (PJBL). Utilizing the ADDIE model, a needs analysis was conducted to gather student preferences on language focus, learning setting, lecturer roles, and flipbook features. The resulting flipbook, consisting of 13 units, was designed to enhance students' grammatical skills for real-world communication and was validated by experts for its quality. The research emphasizes the potential of innovative, student-centered approaches in grammar education. Embedding grammar lessons into real-life scenarios through PJBL helps students recognize the practical applications of grammar and enhances retention and comprehension. The study successfully developed the flipbook in the initial phases of the ADDIE model, with future phases set to evaluate its effectiveness comprehensively. Initial findings provide valuable insights into effective grammar learning, suggesting the need for further research and development of innovative learning materials. The next phase involves piloting the flipbook in classrooms, with iterative refinements based on student feedback and outcomes to ensure it meets educational standards and student needs. Mitigating Lecturers’ Communication Uncertainty in Using SWVC During Online Lectures

This study investigates at the communication uncertainty undergraduate lecturers face when delivering lectures through synchronous web video conferencing (SWVC) during online lectures. Uncertainty Reduction Theory (URT) is employed to understand how lecturers use communication techniques to reduce uncertainty in online lecture. Undergraduate lecturers at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta who have ever conducted teaching online were interviewed in semi-structured interviews. Thematic analysis is performed, with a particular focus on the methods that lecturers use to communicate with their students in order to build relationships and reduce uncertainty. The study identifies a number of important areas of uncertainty, such as technical challenges, the development of useful learning materials, evaluation of comprehension, student involvement, and conduct during online sessions. This study shows how lecturers use active, passive, and interactive strategy to reduce uncertainty. These results underline how crucial it is to deal with technology challenges, advance interactive teaching strategies, raise student participation, and establish effective communication in order to guarantee successful online education in the face of uncertainty.

Upakara Bali-based Electronic Student Worksheets on Geometry Topic for Second Grade of Elementary School

The lack of contextualization and innovation in developing learning materials for 2nd-grade elementary school geometry has become a major issue leading to students' difficulty in understanding concepts. This research aims to develop an Electronic Student Worksheets Based on Ethnomathematics Upakara Bali in Geometry for 2nd-Grade Elementary School. Trial subjects in this study include two material experts, two media experts, one 2nd-grade teacher, 6 individual trial students, and 10 small group trial students. This research utilizes the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Data collection methods used were questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data analysis techniques involved quantitative and qualitative descriptive analyses. The results of this developmental research are the Electronic Student Worksheets product, covering: (a) the design and development of an ethnomathematics-based Electronic Student Worksheets on Upakara Bali for 2nd-grade Elementary School Geometry, including analysis, design, and development stages; (b) validity test results gain criteria of excellent qualification; (c) effectiveness test belongs to teacher response, individual trial score, small group trial score belongs to excellent qualification. Hence, it can be concluded that this Electronic Student Worksheets is suitable for use in the learning process. The implication of this research is the existence of a valid and suitable Electronic Student Worksheets to enhance 2nd-grade Elementary School geometry learning within the local cultural context.
