The Impact of Building Core Capabilities in Development of Job Performance (An Applied Study on the Iraqi Tourism Authority)

The researchers aim through the current research through their investigations to verify the relationship and impact of the core capabilities as an independent variable in the development of functional performance as a responsive variable, in the tourism authority of the city of Baghdad, and to try to come up with a set of recommendations that contribute to the promotion of the practice and adoption of the two variables in the body under study, and based on the importance of the subject to the research community and its fundamental impact in their activities and services, has been based on the descriptive analytical approach in the completion of this research, including the research community (from the Director General and his assistants and heads of state). Departments, department heads and people's officials in the Tourism Authority) where the researchers distributed (119) the identification of the research community, and provided them with interviews and field observations as tools to strengthen them. the research adopted the program (Spss V.25, Amos V.25) with the adoption of descriptive and inference statistics methods (linear testing, natural distribution test, emphasis analysis, structural model, computational medium, percentages, The standard deviation, relative importance, the coefficient of variation, the Pearson correlation coefficient, the simple regression coefficient, the track analysis, and the Sobel test) concluded to test its hypotheses, and the study concluded to highlight its conclusions that showed the validity of the hypotheses represented by the direct impact of the intrinsic capabilities in the development of functional performance.

Strengthening long-term job performance: The moderating roles of sense of responsibility and leader’s support

Drawing upon human capital theory and attachment theory, this study develops a research model that examines how on-the-job training (OJT) effectiveness and work engagement play key mediating roles in the development of job performance. In the proposed model, job performance is indirectly influenced by cultural learning, professional learning, and mentorship learning via the full mediation of OJT effectiveness. At the same time, job performance is also influenced by social interaction, leader support, and self-efficacy via the full mediation of work engagement. Employees’ sense of responsibility and leader support both play moderating roles in the research model. The hypotheses were empirically tested using both primary data from a survey on new employees of a leading financial holding company in Taiwan’s banking industry and secondary data from the company’s database of human resource management (HRM) regarding the training and education of the new employees. Leadership competencies of middle managers and employees' job performance: evidence from a Palestinian media channel

This paper aims to examine the relationship between leadership competencies and job performance at Al-Aqsa TV channel. A descriptive analytical design was adopted in this study. A total number of 288 questionnaires were distributed to Al-Aqsa TV channel employees. One hundred and eighty-one questionnaires were returned and were usable for statistical analysis. In this study, the leadership competency model was used to measure the leadership competencies at Al-Aqsa TV channel. The results showed that middle managers at Al-Aqsa TV possess leadership competencies at a medium level. The results also demonstrated a positive relationship between leadership competences and performance at Al-Aqsa TV channel. Job performance was mainly influenced by three competencies which are: building coalitions or communications, business acumen and leading change. The paper suggests that building coalitions/communications, business acumen, and leading change, leading people, results driven competencies must be considered while developing job performance development plans. Finally, this paper contributes to the media management empirical literature as the topic is not well developed in developing countries and especially in Palestine.

The Relationship Between Organizational Culture and Administrative Creativity in Universities

The organizational culture is a critical and coral factor in achieving the dimensions of the administrative creativity. It can be said that the improvement of the practice of organizational culture contributes as an effective factor in the level of administrative creativity in all its dimensions. The organizational culture plays a major role in all levels and activities within the administrative system. It contributes in the creation of the convenient organizational climate, which in turn works on improving and developing the performance in a convenient and efficient manner. It also helps in achieving the individual, collective and organizational objectives that is highlighted through embodiment, development of the modern values, orientations, behavior and standards which work on growth and development of job performance (Alkurdi, 2010). This paper will try to build a theoretical background on the organizational culture and administrative creativity in Saudi Arabia education socity. The main objective is to show the significance of organizational culture and administrative creativity and also the relationship between organizational culture and administrative creativity in universities. This research work showed how the organizational culture is important to the education filed in Saudi Arabia. It contributes in assisting the individual in problem solving and decision making. It helps to make a decisive decision in a relatively record time, and enable to discover problems in order to solve them.
