Application of neural network algorithm in computer data information processing system

In order to solve the problem that the data processing frequency of the traditional centralized data processing system is low, which leads to the poor feedback effect of massive data, this paper proposes a computer data information processing system based on neural network algorithm. Based on the original system hardware, the system replaces the data processor and increases the total number of the processor, so as to realize the distributed synchronous processing of massive data. In the aspect of software design, the interaction between system units and modules is formed through the protocol to improve the data communication mode of the system; Calculate the Euclidean distance and set the distributed processing mode of the system; According to the definition of cloud computing, the classification function is used to determine the constraints, establish the processing frequency equation, and realize the rapid processing of massive data. The experimental results show that the processing frequency of the system designed in this paper is more than 50 % higher than that of the traditional system, which solves the problem of low processing frequency caused by weak analysis ability and slow response speed in the traditional system. Conclusioncompared with the traditional system, the system designed in this paper has faster processing frequency for massive data and better feedback effect to users.

Use of Cloud Computing by Professional Librarians in Curtailing the Spread of Covid-19 Pandemic: The Nigerian Scenario

Recent events across the globe show that the outbreak of different diseases has been on the increase. The study highlights briefly on the origin of Covid-19, its symptoms and the ravaging challenges the world saw as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The study further gave definitions of cloud computing, highlights the different models of cloud computing upon which anchor the bases of the librarianship profession and went further to highlights how this global pandemic can be curtailed with the application of cloud computing technology models through information preservation, dissemination and accessing these information to prevent it spread in Nigeria.

Emergence of cloud computing architecture: The dynamics

The conceptualization of cloud computing is the paradigm that has revolutionized software and hardware architecture across varied technological domains. However, governments and multiple sectors’ rapid adoption of cloud computing is a significant source of cost-saving, scalability, and collaboration mechanisms. Research in cloud computing technology and advancement is yet to fully embrace the complete spectrum of potential issues confronting cloud technology. It is the fastest-growing field that has gained global adoption in the IT space since 2007. Companies like Amazon, Google, Oracle, and Microsoft provide various products via cloud computing regardless of the many challenges they face in delivering their services to establish assurance to customers demanding continuity of services, speed to market, and guaranteed security. While there are multiple discussions around cloud and data safety, only a few have a grip on the dynamism of cloud technology and the background operation. Three major conventional institutions are at the forefront of providing a clear definition of cloud computing architecture, the technology innovation and advancement driving its operation. They are Gartner, Forrester, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The definition of cloud computing is presented differently by Gartner and Forrester, while the NIST explanation is based on industry-standard terms. This research is an in-depth look at cloud computing architecture from the three institutions’ perspectives. It provides researcher insight to uncover the background of cloud technology, tailored toward an extensive focus area for researchers and exposing a new stream of challenges that require a quick resolution.

Supervision method of indoor construction engineering quality acceptance based on cloud computing

Abstract As an important part of Chinese economy, the construction industry has a great contribution to the economy, and plays an important role in the Chinese economic development. Therefore, it has certain research significance for the quality acceptance supervision method of construction engineering. This article takes Shenzhen S project as an example, combined with cloud computing, discusses the quality acceptance and supervision methods of indoor construction projects. In the introduction to the technical part, this article first briefly introduces the definition of cloud computing and then introduces the particle swarm algorithm and traditional genetic algorithm in the cloud computing task scheduling method. The algorithm is introduced into the quality acceptance of indoor construction projects to obtain the quality, most efficient method for acceptance supervision. The experimental part of this article takes S project as the research object and the residents’ satisfaction with the project as the experimental purpose. Finally, through statistical analysis, it is concluded that the residents’ satisfaction with S project reaches more than 70%.

Revisiting IoT definitions: A framework towards comprehensive use

New technologies constantly change the paradigm of how businesses will be run in the future. The Internet of Things (IoT) enables new business opportunities for data-driven transformation in organisations. The emergence of the IoT concept has resulted in numerous definitions, with earlier references primarily focussed on the technological aspects. This has hindered the broader diffusion of the term IoT as, arguably, the definitions do not integrate other non-technological elements of IoT and focus more on business and service provisions. To resolve this, our research identifies the most significant building blocks required in designing an IoT system. This is accomplished through a methodological review of 122 definitions and their consolidation into a novel definitional framework. The definitional framework unifies the traditional technology focus of the earlier definitions and integrates additional elements that are likely to increase the adoption of a comprehensive definition to support the development of future business applications. Furthermore, the framework serves as a reference set for scholarly societies and standards organisations who, in the future, can be tasked with formulating a definition of IoT, as has been the case with the NIST definition of Cloud Computing, which was preceded by several academic studies on defining the term.

Analysis of Cloud Computing Security Issues and Risks

In the world of computer networking, cloud computing makes a technical shift of computing services being provided locally to being provided remotely by third party service providers. The data which was previously kept under control of users now under the control of service providers cloud computing brings many financial and functional benefits as well as serious security concerns that may threaten business continuity and corporate reputation. The definition of cloud computing is still blurry in a large part, because of the magnitude of the security risks and the virtually unlimited amount of information being published over the unsecure platform. The primary goal of the survey is to assess how security concerns have affected or will affect the respondents’ decision on adopting cloud and its services. This study includes basics of cloud computing by adding its characteristics, models and their categories. Analysis also embraced the existing security concerns faced by researchers and their imposed methodologies.

Mobile edge computing (MEC) is emerging as a promising computing architecture by pushing computation and storage closer to end-users with both strategically deployed edge servers and opportunistic available resources. Essentially different from the traditional definition of cloud computing, mobile edge computing can provide solutions to problems faced by mobile cloud computing and support a large number of different mobile and the Internet of Things (IoT) applications and services. However, to maximize the resource utilization and user service experiences, it is envisioned that mobile edge computing and cloud computing should be designed and operated under a seamless integrated hierarchical architecture, though there are still many unprecedented technical challenges for applying mobile edge computing to the emerging mobile and IoT applications.

The paper has not been peer reviewed. The rapid acceleration in the adoption of cloud services has increased the focus on cybersecurity. While data protection and privacy have always been key concerns in the oil and gas industry, they frequently have been achieved by isolating networks and strengthening perimeter defenses. However, this approach has allowed poor practices in many areas. The author argues that the advent of cloud technology should not be regarded as a further challenge to security, but an opportunity to revitalize and improve a•company’s defenses dramatically. Introduction Computer security involves a web of trust between operating systems, hypervisors, applications, networks, employees, contractors, and administrators (Fig. 1). This system must guard against intentional and unintentional breaches and attacks by malicious actors who might be individuals, corporations, or even governments. The directionality of this trust relationship is complex: for example, an application must establish a user’s identity to determine what level of trust to apply to their actions; a user must trust that an application will not distribute entered information illicitly. Traditional models for network protection typically have focused on perimeter security. This focus frequently has allowed multiple attack vectors to be ignored or left unaddressed. Companies often maintain robust firewall policies alongside poor password-management practices. In addition, many commercial software packages for the industry have implemented their own authentication systems, making a multiplicity of different user identifiers and passwords•unavoidable.• Defining the Cloud The cloud is not, in and of itself, about technology. Fundamentally, it is about a different approach to the consumption of computing services, one in which services are provided on a utility basis. A 2011 paper authored by members of the US•National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) provided one of the most commonly cited definitions of cloud computing. Their five essential characteristics of the cloud are not about technology, but about the nature of the•service.• On-demand self-service. This means that consumers (or end users) can provision computing capabilities, such as servers and storage and application features, without needing to contact a service provider. Broad network access. This characteristic implies that the access to services is through standard mechanisms and does not require specialist or proprietary technology. Resource pooling. Resources such as computing power or network storage are shared among multiple users or tenants. Measured service. Use of computing resources is measured and controlled to benefit the provider and the consumer. Rapid elasticity. The resources provisioned by a user, in a self-service model, can be scaled up or down to meet demand in an apparently unlimited fashion.

USING CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES AS A TOOL IN ORGANIZING THE EDUCATION PROCESS

The transition towards innovative cloud computing technologies will allow universities to reduce the costs of purchasing software licenses and expensive computer parks with large amounts of memory and disks, since the programs used in training sessions, as well as all the results of work done, can be stored in the cloud. The transfer of educational services to the cloud will facilitate switching to a format of "learning everywhere and all the time". This article considers the pedagogical possibilities of cloud technologies, which confirm the expediency of use in the education process. The definition of cloud computing is discussed. In addition, the main task of the research was considered: using cloud technologies as a tool in the organizing education process. The experience of using open source software in training is given. The basic methods of using cloud technology in the learning process are presented.

Can functional characteristics usefully define the cloud computing landscape and is the current reference model correct?

The NIST definition of cloud computing has been accepted by the majority of the community as the best available description to fully capture the variety of factors which determine how different stakeholders create, use or interact with cloud computing. With the breadth of the cloud computing landscape there is a need being expressed from within different cloud activities to consider how it may be best segmented so that the diversity might be more easily understood by the different stakeholders. The NIST definition considers four different deployment models (Private, Public, Hybrid, Community Cloud), three different service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and a number of characteristics (five in the final published version, but 13 in previous unpublished drafts). Exploring the definition further, this study aims to answer two questions: first, how can we use the affinity that different activities have with the definition’s characteristics and second, how well does the definition describe the whole cloud ecosystem? We find that utilising a quantitative methodology shows a clustering of different cloud projects and activities that are technically aligned and therefore likely to benefit from interactions and shared learning, and that the final (short-list) definition is more robust than the draft (long-list) definition. Finally, we present a segmentation of the cloud landscape that we believe can best support a sharing of learning between projects in individual clusters.

Cloud adaptiveness within industry sectors – Measurement and observations

Cloud computing combines established computing technologies and outsourcing advantages into a new ICT paradigm that is generally expected to foster productivity and economic growth. However, despite a series of studies on the drivers of cloud adoption, evidence of its economic effects is lacking, possibly because many of the datasets on cloud computing are of insufficient size and often lack a time dimension as well as precise definitions of cloud computing, thus making them unsuitable for rigorous quantitative analysis. To overcome these limitations, we propose a proxy variable for cloud computing usage—cloud adaptiveness—based on survey panel data from European firms. Observations based on a descriptive analysis suggest three important aspects for further research. First, cloud studies should be conducted at the industry level as cloud computing adaptiveness differs widely across industry sectors. Second, it is important to know what firms do with cloud computing to understand the economic mechanisms and effects triggered by this innovation. And third, cloud adaptiveness is potentially correlated to a firm’s position in the supply chain and thus the type of output it produces as well as the market in which it operates. Our indicator can be employed to further analyze the effects of cloud computing in the context of firm heterogeneity.

Comprehensive Research and Application of Cloud Computing in Enterprises

With a crucial development of information and communications technology over the last century, there is an increasingly perceived vision that computing will be the 5 th utility in human's civilization. Like all other four existing utilities, this computing utility will provide basic level of computing service which is considered essential to meet everyday needs of the general community. In order to deliver this vision, a number of computing paradigms have been proposed, of which the latest one is known as Cloud computing. Therefore, in this paper, we introduced the definition of Cloud computing and provide the architecture for creating Clouds with market-oriented resource allocation by leveraging technologies. We also provide a hypothetical case analysis to show the economical efficiency for medium-sized enterprise to deploy servers on the cloud instead of establishing server center of their own. Finally, a conclusion is drawn that there is need for convergence of competing IT paradigms to deliver our new century vision and it is economical efficient for medium-sized enterprise to use cloud computing services.

Rationalizing the Cloud Computing Concept: An Analogy with the Car

Cloud Computing has quickly become a popular buzzword in the IT industry. It is hard to understand what cloud computing technologies are and if we are using the real thing. Many standard-developing organizations such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the International Standards Organization (ISO) are working to provide a standard definition of Cloud Computing. Unfortunately, they are already facing a big challenge due to the presence of multiple definitions and the lack of understanding of this emerging technology. The main objective of this paper is to try to characterize Cloud Computing components and concepts using a familiar object, the car. Using this analogy, we identify concepts that should not be part of the international Cloud Computing definition on our quest for an improved definition. This work is part of the Canadian members' ISO/JTC1/SC38 work group effort aiming at an international consensus.
