Pengaruh Infrastruktur Listrik dan Infrastruktur Sosial terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Provinsi Aceh

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of Electricity infrastructure and social infrastructure on economic growth in Aceh Province. The purpose of this study is to determine and explain the effect of how the influence of Electricity, Health and Education infrastructure on economic growth in Aceh Province. Data analysis in this study is using Multiple Linear Regression. This type of research data is quantitative research and secondary data. Data sources are obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The results of this study indicate that Electricity infrastructure which has a probability value of 0.2855> 0.05 has no effect on economic growth. health infrastructure which has a probability value of 0.5845> 0.05 has no effect on economic growth. education infrastructure which has a probability value of 0.3478> 0.05 has no effect on economic growth. So it can be concluded that the variables of Electricity, Health and Education are not significant to economic growth in Aceh Province.

STATISTICAL INDICATORS OF THE CORRESPONDENCE OF THE LANGUAGE OF REGIONAL NEWSPAPERS IN KOSTROMA REGION TO ALL-RUSSIAN STANDARDS: A SYNTACTIC APPROACH

The paper is devoted to the analysis of complex sentences with subordinate clauses of condition, cause, goal, concession, consequence in regional newspapers of Kostroma Region in comparison with the data of similar studies conducted on the material of all-Russian periodicals. The grammar of the language, which is the backbone of the entire language system, is the most stable, standardised, which should be manifested at the syntactic level. The description of linguistic phenomena in the materials of regional periodicals in comparison with the all-Russia’s ones contributes to the forming of a general picture of the syntax of the modern Russian language. This paper shows on quantitative research data the correspondence of the syntax of regional newspapers with the language of all-Russia’s periodicals in the following aspects – the distribution of complex sentences with various types of subordinate clauses in the general system of conditionality and the peculiarities of using the means of their construction. It is shown that in the texts of regional newspapers of Kostroma Region, at the syntactic level, there are all the structural and semantic features of complex sentences with the meaning of conditionality – distribution by their types, the use of typed and non-typed means of communication, the phenomena of gradation, inversion, parcellation, phraseologisation of subordinate clauses. On the example of functioning of the most popular, semantically capacious and significant complex sentences, it is concluded that the syntactic media image of Kostroma Region reflects the general picture in modern Russian journalism, which indicates the stability of the system of complex sentences at the current stage of language development.

PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN PEMUKIMAN TERHADAP AKTIVITAS PEREKONOMIAN DI KELURAHAN KOYA BARAT

This research aims to identify the factors influencing the growth of settlements and economic activities inKoya Barat Village, Muara Tami District, and the efforts made in the growth of settlements and economic activitiesin Koya Barat Village, Muara Tami District. The quantitative research method and data collection techniquesinvolve questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis uses simple linear regression. The results of theresearch indicate that the factors influencing the growth of settlements and economic activities in Koya BaratVillage, Muara Tami District, show that the level of settlement growth in Koya Barat Village, Muara Tami District,is categorized as high, with 65 respondents or 65%. This includes several factors such as the type of physicalbuilding, building/occupant type, wall type, roof type, ceiling, floor type, door, sanitation, window, ventilation,and ridge. The economic level of the community with a very high economic level is 33 respondents or 33%, anda high economic level is 31 respondents or 31%, which means that the economic level of the community in KoyaBarat Village, Muara Tami District is high, including education level, occupation/livelihood, and householdincome. The efforts made in the growth of settlements and economic activities in Koya Barat Village, Muara TamiDistrict, indicate a significant influence of settlement growth on the economy in Koya Barat Village, Muara TamiDistrict, which means that if settlement growth increases, economic activities will also experience a significantincrease.

Problem Solving dalam Perkuliahan Statistik Dasar

Statistik Dasar is one of the courses that must be taken by student Bimbingan Penyuluhan Islam departement, Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah, IAIN Ponorogo. Statistik Dasar is a quite difficult courses for student because they have to understand material related to statistical test which are useful for analyzing quantitative type of thesis data. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of applying the Problem Solving learning model in Statistik Dasar lectures. This type of research is quasi-experimental using two classes of the Bimbingan Penyuluhan Islam departement, Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah, IAIN Ponorogo. The research sample was taken using simple random sampling technique. Furthermore technical data analysis using t-test. The results of this research indicate that the application of the Problem Solving learning model can significantly improve student learning outcomes in Statistik Dasar lectures. This is because student who apply the Problem Solving learning model are accustomed to being active in constructing their knowledge and are more creative in solving problems related to statistical tests, thus making it easier for student to understand concepts and use statistical tests that are suitable for analyzing quantitative research data. Therefore, the Problem Solving learning model is very appropriate to apply in lectures, especially Statistik Dasar courses. Furthermore, the impact can increase the percentage of student Bimbingan Penyuluhan Islam departement who use quantitative research as their thesis assignment.

The Digital Echo: The Influence of Digital Marketing Channels on Brand Awareness and Consumer Purchase Decisions

This study explore the impact of the digital marketing strategies ( Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Content Marketing and Online Advertising) on brand awareness while investigating to what extent does this resulting effect subsequent affects consumer purchase decisions. Understanding these relationships can allow businesses to tailor their marketing programs to produce higher brand visibility and an increased flow of consumers. The study employed quantitative research design and data was collected using online survey questionnaire from 265 respondents. Data analysis was performed using SmartPls software. The results of the study suggest that Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Content marketing and Online Advertising all have positive relationship in designed model with brand awareness. Moreover, the research demonstrates that consumers are more likely to purchase based on brand recognition. This study found strong relationships between social media, email, content, online advertising, brand awareness, and purchasing decisions. Brand awareness increases purchasing intention and consumer loyalty. A personalized and integrated digital marketing strategy is needed since different digital marketing channels have different effects on brand awareness and buying decisions. This study adds to the literature by showing how digital marketing methods affect brand awareness and purchasing decisions. This study helps marketers optimize their digital marketing strategies and improve brand performance in the digital age by explaining the complex relationship between digital marketing and customer behavior. It also emphasizes the need for a comprehensive strategy to digital marketing, since digital channels influence consumer perceptions and buying behavior.

Young customers’ intention to purchase organic food in South Africa: extending the theory of planned behaviour

Ethical consumption has become an increasing trend as young customers get increasingly aware of their environmental and ethical responsibilities. The study aimed to examine the determinants of organic food purchase intention and behaviour of young customers in South Africa by extending the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB). The main objective of the study was to determine the effects of TPB constructs (attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control) on young consumers’ intention to purchase organic food. Also, the study investigated whether the extended TPB model would improve the predictive validity of the model. The TPB was modified by the addition of three value constructs (health, environmental and appearance consciousness) as antecedents of attitude and intention and two personal factors (moral norms and ethical self-identity) as predictors of purchase intention. In addition, the study examined the mediating effects of attitude towards organic food in the relationship between value and purchase intention. Furthermore, the study determined the effect of intention on actual organic food purchase behaviour of young consumers. The study adopted a quantitative research approach and data was collected through the cross-sectional survey method using self-administered questionnaires from four hundred and three respondents. The questionnaires were distributed to the respondents through mall intercept and the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS SEM) was used to test the hypotheses of the study. The findings confirmed that two constructs of the TPB (attitude towards organic food and perceived behavioural control) are predictors of purchase intention. In addition, health and environmental consciousness are antecedents of attitude and intention. Attitude mediates the relationship between health, environmental consciousness and intention. Furthermore, intention is a predictor of behaviour. Recommendations to improve the purchase of organic food focus on communication by marketers to consumers about the benefits of organic food. The study concludes that the extended TPB is an applicable theoretical framework to explain the purchase of organic food by young consumers.

A CORRELATIONAL STUDY OF ORGANIZATIONAL SAFETY CULTURE, EMPLOYEES' SAFETY BEHAVIOR AND PRODUCTIVITY- A CASE STUDY OF ONGC, MAHARASHTRA

This research seeks to establish a correlation between the safety culture of ONGC in Maharashtra and their employees’ safety attitude as well as their productivity profile. Conducting this study as a correlational research, quantitative research data was collected from a sample of the ONGC human resource through structured questionnaires. This study confirmed the hypothesis that the corporate safety culture that is strong and developed has an impact on employees’ safety behaviours’ improvement. Moreover, I found that enhanced safety behaviours have a direct impact on productivity in relation to the employees. This research helps to enhance the best practices of safety culture to improve organisational safety and efficiency in the integrated oil and gas industries more effectively. The conclusions made from the research have several managerial implications with regard to the improvement of safety measures, and the general performance of the organisation. Suggestions for the future works include examining other factors which can influence the safety culture and productivity relationship in similar industrial organisations.

China's Geostrategic Interests in the Indian Ocean Region: Implications for Regional Security and Sino- Indian Relations

Over the last decade, China has increased its footprint and economic power in the Indian Ocean by expanding its influence there. Critical concerns in the Indian Ocean pose a danger to regional security, according to this research. Realist theoryassesses China's economic and military achievements. There is a real possibility that unchecked Chinese development into the Indian Ocean would turn the entire ocean into a "Chinese lake," opening up trade along the Maritime Silk Road. A coalition of impacted and compatible governments is necessary to safeguard maritime interests against China's aggressiveness. The mixed approach employed literature and survey data for qualitative and quantitative research. Basic random sampling was used to sample 150 Lahore residents. Those who are active in policymaking and marine governance are the target audience for these findings, which are meant to educate them on the geopolitical shifts and what they represent for the future of the sector.

Impact of Intellectual Capital and Organisational Culture on Financial Performance: Mediation by Knowledge Management in Higher Education Institutions in Libya

Purpose: Sustained volatility has worse affected, again, the already, noteworthy decline in the financial performance of Libya’s higher education system since the year 2011. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to develop a conceptual frame work that would help in understanding the factors that affects the financial position of Libyan university. Design/Methodology/Approach: The intended study will adopt a quantitative research approach and data collection tool for the study will be through a questionnaire survey. The participants of the sample will be the people occupying the positions of directors of the Office of Administrative and Financial Affairs, chiefs and senior managers of financial departments, accountants, auditors, and other officials engaged in financial administration. All the information collected from the survey shall be tested by structural equation modeling (SEM) in the AMOS program. Findings: This study significantly advances our understanding of how organizational culture, knowledge management, and intellectual capital impact the financial performance of higher education institutions in Libya. The findings provide actionable insights and tools for financial stakeholders, policymakers, and decision-makers to enhance financial performance within these institutions effectively. Implications/Originality/Value: This study aims to address the existing gaps in the present literature on organizational culture, knowledge management, intellectual capital, and their influence on financial performance in higher education. The study's results will have practical ramifications for financial professionals, regulators, and stakeholders, providing useful insights and methods to improve the financial performance of Libyan higher education institutions

Effectivity of the Microsoft Excel Application on Student Understanding in Statistics Courses

This research aims to test the effectiveness of the Microsoft Excel application on students' understanding of statistics courses. This research is quantitative research and descriptive data analysis, aimed at measuring students' level of understanding of various statistical concepts. Because research data is in the form of numbers, while descriptive analysis is statistics which functions to provide an overview of the object being studied. In this research, researchers used a total sampling technique where the entire population was sampled. So a sample of 22 people was obtained. For data collection, researchers used an online questionnaire method using Google form, the data obtained was analyzed using descriptive analysis. Of the 25 participants, 22 students answered the questionnaire. Respondents' answers regarding question 1, How often do students use Microsoft Excel (P1), Students who said they used Microsoft Excel several times a week and students who said they used Microsoft Excel once a month had the same percentage, namely 31.8%. Then 9.1% said they rarely use Microsoft Excel. Several things that can be concluded from this research are that it is still found that some students do not understand how to use Microsoft Excel, so there is a need for training for students to introduce and train students in the Regular B Building Engineering Education Study Program more deeply in applying Microsoft Excel in solving problems and processing data. and make it easier to complete assignments in statistics courses.

Evaluating the Usability of a Virtual Classroom Application from the Educator Perspective

The purpose of this research is to reveal the usability of virtual classroom application, which is used for synchronous lessons, in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. A user-based approach was applied in order to collect quantitative data in this mixed method research. The effectiveness and efficiency of the system were revealed on the basis of 13 authentic tasks considering the status of the instructors performing the tasks, the number of critical mistakes they made during the tasks, and the time they spent on completing the tasks. The satisfaction of instructors with the virtual classroom application was determined through the SUS-satisfaction scale, observations during user tests, and interviews. A total of 12 instructors were in the data collection process. According to the findings, the completion rate of two of the seven tasks was over 90%. However, the successful completion rate of the total of six tasks was limited to 20%. It was also determined that the number of errors in the remaining 11 tasks exceeded the ideal number of operations and the completion periods were considerably longer. Overall results of the study revealed that the educator satisfaction levels for the Adobe Connect virtual classroom application were quite low.

Pengaruh Motivasi dan Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Organisasi Dengan Keterikatan Karyawan Sebagai Variabel Intervening

This research aims to determine the direct and indirect influence of motivation, job satisfaction on organizational commitment and employee engagement as an intervening variable at the New Ayuda Puncak Hotel. This research is quantitative research, using primary and secondary data where data collection uses field studies and literature studies. In this research the author used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25 and path analysis with the Sobel test. The sample in this research was all 63 hotel employees. The results of the research show that motivation and job satisfaction have a direct positive and significant effect on employee engagement, motivation and job satisfaction have a direct positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has a direct positive and significant effect on employee engagement and employee engagement is able to mediate motivation and job satisfaction to organizational commitment.

A quantitative analysis of cosmeceuticals: business service quality and client satisfaction

PurposeThe purpose of the quantitative correlational research study was to determine the relationship, if any, between the predictor variable, cosmeceutical business service quality, and the outcome variable, cosmeceutical client satisfaction, in the southeast region of the United States of America. Cosmeceuticals were cosmetics and medications administered by estheticians.Design/methodology/approachLiterature on business service quality and client satisfaction theories was synthesized after extensive review. Quantitative research data were collected and statistically analyzed on the following subscales of consumer satisfaction: general satisfaction, technical quality, interpersonal manner, communication, financial aspects, time spent with professionals and accessibility/convenience. The hypotheses addressed the research question (RQ) of whether cosmeceutical business service quality affects client satisfaction. The Cosmeceutical Client Satisfaction Questionnaire 18 (CCSQ-18), a web-based research instrument, had strong reliability with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.84. The target population (N = 50) included randomly selected female cosmeceutical consumers in the southeast region of the United States of America. The researcher did not digress from the detailed research protocol, instrumentation, data collection or data analyses. Through the Likelihood Ratio (LR) chi-squared statistic (18) = 65.35 and its associated probability, Prob > chi-squared = 0.000, the researcher determined the predictor variable cohesively has a statistically significant effect on the outcome variable.FindingsResearch results concluded that a significant relationship exists between cosmeceutical business service quality and cosmeceutical client satisfaction in the southeast region of the United States of America.Originality/valueThe findings detailed in the results complimented the argument that, generally, business service quality is important to consider, because good business is based on client satisfaction.

Understanding pesticide purchase practices and brand preferences among cotton growers in District Muzaffargarh, Punjab, Pakistan

In Pakistan, the pesticide use has increased over the years. Several companies market different pesticide brands and compete for capturing the attention of growers. This study was aimed at determining the pesticides buying behavior and brand preferences of cotton growers. Two leading cotton production districts including Multan and Muzaffargarh of South Punjab were selected. The study used quantitative research approach and data were collected from 160 cotton growers with the help of a survey questionnaire. The questionnaire included questions regarding farmers buying behavior and brand preferences towards pesticides. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multivariate statistical techniques with the help of SPSS software. Results indicated that the major preferred brands included Bayer crop science, Syngenta, FMC Corporation and Arysta life science. Quality of the products and effectiveness were the major attributes that were given importance by cotton growers. Price of product, distance between farm and dealer shop, peer group advice, brand reputation, credit availability, and dealer suggestion were also given importance regarding purchase of pesticides. While discount and subsidy and advertisement were given less importance by the respondents. Results of this study can help pesticide firms in strategies formulation as well as product development to get attention of the cotton growers.

This research paper explores manpower planning as one of the most crucial human resource practices. The purpose of the study is to examine the manpower planning and practices in the selected private sector. Key variables including key factors influencing employee work performance, strategic workforce planning challenges, attracting and retaining talent, enhancing manpower planning: managerial suggestion. The total population is 200 and the sample size is 180. The tools used for Non-Parametric U–test, H–test, Run test, and Spearman Rank Correlation. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis, this research aims to suggest strategies to enhance collaboration, communication, and teamwork to maximize the positive impact of colleague support on work performance.

A Study On The Effectiveness Of Workplace Health And Safety Practices Upon Employee Wellbeing At Sri Vigneshwara Cold Forge

This research paper explores effectiveness of employee workplace health and safety upon employee wellbeing which includes physical health, mental health, engagement, productivity and job satisfaction. Key variables including training programs, ergonomics measures, safety protocols and organizational support will be examined in relation to employee physical and mental wellbeing indicators such as injury rates, absenteeism, job satisfaction and stress levels. The total population is 200 and sample size is 132. The tools used for non-parametric U test, H test and Spearman Rank Correlation, Chi-square, Weighted average and Interval Estimation. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys, interviews and data analysis, this research aims to suggest suitable health and safety measures for employee wellbeing for Sri Vigneshwara Cold Forge. The Effect of Travel Motivation, Perceived Risk and Travel Constraint Towards Medan Generation Z’s Visit Intention to Bali, Indonesia Specifically Kuta area Through Destination Image

In this study aims to determine and analyze travel motivation, travel motivation, perceived risk has a significant effect on cognitive image and affective image and visit intention. The research study used quantitative research design and data processing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 26.0 to analyze data collected from a total of 105 respondents. Data collection was conducted by nonprobability snowball sampling technique on male and female respondents aged 18-24 years domiciled in Medan. The results obtained that travel motivation has a significant effect on cognitive image, travel motivation has a significant effect on affective image, perceived risk has a significant effect on cognitive image, perceived risk has a significant effect on affective image, travel constraint has a significant effect on cognitive image and affective image, cognitive image and affective image has a significant effect on visit intention. The implications in the research provide valuable insights for the tourism industry in Kuta to develop effective marketing strategies to attract more potential visitors from Medan's Generation Z population.. Evaluation of the Successful Implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning Based on SAP Using the DeLone & McLean Model

ERP system is an integrated system that is relied on by companies that aim to improve operational efficiency and optimize company resources. PT XYZ, which is currently engaged in IT, has implemented the use of the SAP ERP system. This study aims to evaluate the success of the ERP implementation at PT XYZ through testing the success of information systems using the DeLone & McLean model. The research method used is quantitative research method and data is collected through filling out questionnaires. This research data processing uses the SEM-PLS method through the SmartPLS application. In determining the sample, non-probability sampling techniques were used. There are 6 DeLone & McLean variables used, namely information quality, system quality, service quality, interest in use, user satisfaction, and net benefits. From the results of the analysis of 9 hypotheses, 5 hypotheses were accepted and 4 hypotheses were rejected. From the test results, the ERP implementation at PT XYZ is still not said to be a direct success with DeLone & McLean testing because there are variables that do not affect each other and are related to interest in using the system by users. Improvements in the system quality, service quality and information quality of the ERP system used will support the successful implementation of ERP technology in the company in the future.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Active Learning dalam Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas VIII

This research aims to determine the increase in student activity and learning outcomes through the application of the Active Learning learning model in biology lessons for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 12 Tasikmalaya. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 12 Tasikmalaya. The population in this study were all class VIII students, while the sample used was 25 students. The instruments used in this research were observation sheets and test questions. Data collection techniques use observation and tests. The data analysis technique in this research is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Qualitative data analysis is used to analyze data obtained from observations carried out in the first cycle and subsequent cycles, the data is collected and then concluded. Meanwhile, quantitative data analysis is used to process data in the form of numbers, both observation data and student learning outcomes (evaluation) data which are then processed into quantitative data in research. The results of this research show that, in cycle I, the student activity score was 2.5 in the quite active category and in cycle II it was 3.33 in the active category. For learning outcomes, the percentage of classical completeness in cycle I was 68% in the incomplete category and in cycle II it was 88% in the completed category. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Active Learning learning model can improve the activities and learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 12 Tasikmalaya.
