PENERAPAN SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION PADA PEMBERITAAN DI MEDIA SIBER

The presence of the internet has changed the practice of journalistic activities in the mass media, especially cyber media. Cyber media editorial policies have also adjusted to the advancement of information technology by utilizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The implementation of SEO techniques in journalistic activities in cyber media is very necessary so that cyber media can survive and make it easier for the community to get information that suits their needs. Currently, cyber media has a higher attention in search engines because today's internet users will search for information through search engines every day. The purpose of this study is to find out the editorial policy of Pojoksatu.id cyber media in implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in carrying out journalistic activities. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a descriptive nature and using the case study method. The results of the study show that the editorial policy of implementing SEO in news production in Pojoksatu.id still prioritizes journalistic principles. The resulting news products combine the needs of readers and utilize search engine technology in a balanced manner. The implementation of SEO in Pojoksatu.id includes three things. First, crawling is an automated process to collect and index data from various sources so that the news produced can be automatically read by search engines. Second, pay attention to the availability of adequate equipment so that journalistic activities can be carried out optimally and the news made by journalists can be on page one. Third, policies related to human resource development and editorial, Pojoksatu.id management continuously provides training to journalists and editors to be able to write news in accordance with SEO. Journalists and editors must be able to apply the right keywords in the news to be indexed by search engines and spread news links to social media.

Journalist-Victim Relationship: Analysis of Cyber Media Reporting on the Land Conflict of the Sunda Wiwitan Indigenous Community

The relationship between journalists and sources influences reporting on conflicts in media. The news media's portrayal of conflicts can shape public opinion, which in turn can influence policy decisions. Governments and other stakeholders often pay close attention to media coverage and public reaction when making decisions related to conflicts. This study analyzes how the relationship between journalists and sources, in this case the victims from the Sunda Wiwitan indigenous community in Cigugur, West Java, in online media, relates to the land conflict and how it influences the resolution of the case. The researcher chose the theme of Sunda Wiwitan in relation to online media and conflict because the land conflict involving the Sunda Wiwitan indigenous community in Cigugur, West Java, is an issue that has received widespread media attention. Online media, with its fast and broad reach, often covers this conflict, although frequently in the form of short news pieces (hard news). This study uses a qualitative approach, employing a mixed method of content analysis, in-depth interviews which involving journalists and members of Sunda Wiwitan Community. The researchers analyze 113 news articles from national and local online media about the Sunda Wiwitan land conflict from 2020-2022. This study aims to examine how the relationship between victims in land conflicts and influential journalists affects media framing and agenda-setting.The research shows cyber media are interested to cover the issue as it carries news value of conflict and produce more news in form of hard news that features. The communication established between journalists or the media and victims or sources from the Sunda Wiwitan indigenous community influences the formation of media agendas and framing.The significant attention from online media and diverse sources influenced policy decisions regarding the Sunda Wiwitan land conflict.

Digital Literacy to Improve The Professionalism of Online Media Journalists in Bengkulu, Indonesia

This study aims to know the competence of digital literacy Online media journalists in Bengkulu City in complying with cyber media guidelines to support professionalism ranging from verification activities to writing news or delivering coverage to editors. Also to identify efforts made by online media journalists in Bengkulu City using tools for fact checking to verify news materials. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection method uses interviews, observation and focus group discussion. This study's Informants are journalists registered as members of the Indonesian Cyber Media Network (JMSI) and the Indonesian Cyber Media Union (SMSI) in Bengkulu. The results of the study concluded that the literacy of journalists in using digital media is quite good. However, it cannot be included in the excellent category because journalists lack knowledge and skills in digital literacy competencies. Moreover, journalists knowledge and skills upgrades such as fact-checking or digital literacy training is minimal, eventhough journalists understand the challenges in publishing journalistic works today. Generally, journalists use tools for checking facts or verifying sources of information either conventionally or manually. However, the strength in publishing journalistic works is the collaboration of cyber media within press companies to produce quality work. The FGD found that only Bengkulu Eskpress conducts fact checks in its journalistic work, because its journalists have received fact-check training conducted by the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI). The study results also show that online media utilize digital-based tools because they have received fact checking training, namely Bengkulu Ekspress. Edukasi Bullying dan Bahaya Penggunaan Gadget Melalui Program Smart pada Remaja

Cyberbullying is an action intended to embarrass, intimidate, spread ugliness and hatred in cyber media. One of the cyber media is social media ask.fm. Cyberbullying often occurs in teenagers, this can affect the emotions of teenagers who are still quite unstable in controlling their emotions. In this research, the problem formulated is whether there is an influence of cyberbullying on social media ask.fm on the emotional development of teenagers. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of cyberbullying on ask.fm social media on adolescent emotional disorders. The research method used is a survey research method using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The catharsis theory used in this research states that catharsis is a clearing of emotional conflict within oneself through talking about it and the deindividuation theory states that there is a feeling of loss of personal identity and the emergence of anonymity in the group. The anonymous feature on ask.fm social media provides opportunities for perpetrators to carry out cyberbullying on ask.fm. The sample in this study was 30 students, who had been victims and perpetrators of cyberbullying. Hypothesis testing shows Tcount ≥ Ttable (3.049 ≥ 1.660) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so this means that these two variables have a significant influence. This research showed that teenagers dared to carry out attacks only through the social media ask.fm, with anonymous facilities that made it easy for the perpetrators to express all their frustration without their identities being known. And as victims, teenagers generally reject it by responding emotionally.

Through the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach, this research explores how the media discourses on the ex-Sampang Shia and shapes people's perceptions. The research highlights that the media not only reflects, but also shapes social structures through language and narrative choices. The results show the power of majoritarianism ideology and the role of the media in perpetuating social conflict. The research emphasizes the need for independent and ethical media in promoting dialogue, tolerance and social inclusion.

This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of Cyber PR for Covid-19 Information from the Bogor City Health Office in meeting the public's need for health information. This study uses a quantitative research approach. The data in this study were collected using a closed questionnaire which was then analyzed by multiple linear regression by SPSS 24. The results showed that the fulfillment of Cyber Information Needs at the Bogor City Health Office was included in the Good category. The cyber PR media owned by the Bogor City Health Office is a means or equipment used by the Bogor City Health Office in disseminating information about health during the pandemic to meet the information needs of the community. In this case, the people of Bogor City prefer to find out directly to the cyber media of the Bogor City Health Office as a reference in finding information about health because people feel that the Bogor City Health Office provides complete and varied information and is clear in conveying information.

ETNOGRAFI VIRTUAL PERILAKU IMPULSIVE BUYING DI MEDIA SOSIAL (STUDI PADA AKUN AUTOBASE @DISCOUNTFESS)

The purpose of this study is to describe how the pattern of impulsive buying behavior found in the X Autobase @discountfess account. Social media, one of which functions as a promotional media, can then form a consumptive culture in its users. The impulsive buying stage can occur in a person because of the offers that continue to hit them. The behavior pattern was analyzed using virtual ethnography with the Analysis of Cyber Media (AMS) method as a guide. The results show that interaction and support from online communities, especially through comments and interactions between users, can increase subjective norms related to consumptive patterns. The bigger and more attractive the discount offered, the more interaction occurs and vice versa.

Climate change and environment issues in cyber media construction in Indonesia

Background: The issue of climate change and the environment has not become the primary focus of the media in Indonesia, but it is frequently featured in the news. This occurs because the media fulfils its function as a provider of information. Purpose: This study seeks to explain how cyber media constructs climate change and environmental issues in the news. Methods: Research with a qualitative approach and qualitative descriptive methods, with critical discourse analysis as the data analysis technique. The websites Kompas.com, Okezone.com, and Suara.com are the subject of study. Results: According to the study, climate is the word that appears the most frequently in the text of the three media. Change is the term that appears most frequently on Kompas.com and Suara.com. Indonesia is the most popular search term on Okezone.com. At the level of production, cyber media lacks an agenda-setting team, a dedicated channel, or a specialized team devoted to the environment and climate change. At the social level, they only generate news related to the environment and climate change if it has gone viral and is trending on social media. Conclusion: The research concludes that there are both distinctions and similarities among the three cyber media in terms of the words that appear most frequently in news articles about environmental issues and climate change. They lack agenda-setting, a dedicated channel, and a specialized team. They are oblivious to environmental issues and climate change. Implications: The research has implications for agenda setting from theoretical implications. The media does not set an agenda and only follows the viral, trending, and important public issues. The implication is that cyber media gives viral issues a news value.

Clickbait as a Potential Threat in the Development of Cybercrime in Indonesia

<p><em>This research examines the advancement and extensive diffusion of online news in Indonesia which contains discrepancies between the titles displayed and the content displayed (clickbait), where the content has the potential to contain backlinks that can carry a cybercrime. The purpose of this research is to assess the potential of clickbait in threatening the development of cybercrime in Indonesia, as well as to investigate the best legal regulations for eradicating clickbait in Indonesia. This research uses the normative legal research method followed by the interview method. The outcomes of this research point to the shift in news media from conventional to online making the target of online news journalists not only limited to reporting factual information but also pursuing a target audience of readers by using a clickbait title. The content of clickbait news that clearly does not match the title can deceive Indonesians, especially if accompanied by backlinks that actually spread many forms of cybercrime. In addition, it was found that there are no regulations in Indonesia that prohibit the dissemination of online news with clickbait, be it in the Press Law, ITE Law, Journalistic Code of Ethics, Cyber Media Reporting Guidelines, and the Criminal Code, which can be overcome by revising the ITE Law by adding related prohibitions in Article 28.</em></p>

The Digital Marketing Through Instagram to Increase Online Engagement (Virtual Ethnographic Study with Cyber ​​Media Analysis on Rotiyu's Instagram Account)

The goal of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing through Instagram in increasing Online Engagement on Rotiyu's Instagram account. This research is an ethnographic survey research conducted online. The research was conducted on the @rotiyu account which utilizes Instagram social media for digital promotion media. The types of data in this research are primary and secondary. Primary data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and the results of mechanical observations. Secondary data was obtained through literature study from various journals and articles related to research. This study uses virtual ethnography with cyber media analysis methods to find out digital marketing through Instagram in increasing online engagement. In the results of the study, researchers made categorizations to make it easier to present findings in the field, either through interviews or observational data on social media. CYBER MEDIA ANALYSIS IN DA'WAH THROUGH MOBILE LEGEND LIVE STREAMING ON YOUTUBE

Da'wah, or Islamic preaching, has expanded into cyber media. This article aims to analyze the use of cyber media for da'wah, focusing on media space, media documentation, and media objects, as exemplified by Ustaz Abi Azkakia's live streaming of Mobile Legends on YouTube. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research incorporates literature studies, video documentation, and analysis of media features. The data findings reveal three key aspects: First, the optimization of YouTube as a media space by Ustaz Abi Azkakia for live streaming and uploading da'wah content, including features such as video uploads, shorts, and live streaming. Second, in terms of media documentation, Abi Azkakia effectively engages players by integrating worship and moral values into content, using visually appealing thumbnails, promoting polite behavior, facilitating live chat discussions, and advocating sincere, non-commercial donations. This approach includes personal narratives, stories of the Prophet and his companions, and references to the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. Third, regarding media objects, this article observes an interactivity trend with a modest increase in likes and comments, while the duration of content shows a fluctuating trend, and overall broadcast frequency tends to decrease.

Algorithms of Social Media for Science Education to Cybercrime Reduced

The purpose of this paper is to describe how the algorithm of the social media platform as an effort of science and ethics education for the community to reduce criminal behaviour in cyberspace. The advantage of the internet as cyber media that can be enjoyed by the public is the easy and cheap way to access it. The approach used is a literature study by searching for various relevant sources. The data sources are reputable and accredited scientific journals, academic papers, videos, books and other substantial sources. These sources will be carefully elaborated to obtain a structured academic description. The study found that there is a need to design algorithms for various social media platforms that can serve as media for science education. In addition, ethical content is needed to educate the public about virtual crime. Science and ethics content play a role in reducing the occurrence of cybercrime.

Social interactivity and member roles in Digimon fandom group: a netnography study

Digi-In stands as Indonesia's largest Digimon fan community, boasting the highest level of member participation and interaction through its Facebook group platform. This study investigates the dynamics of social interaction and the roles played by members within the Digi-In Facebook group, specifically in the Digimon Adventure 2020 animation context. The research framework draws upon the Sense of Community Theory and Groundswell Concept. Employing a constructivist paradigm, a descriptive qualitative approach, and the netnography method, this study relies on participant observation and interviews for data collection and Cyber Media Analysis for data analysis. The findings reveal that the Digi-In community fosters social interactivity among Digimon enthusiasts, facilitating the exchange of up-to-date information, promoting the trading of Digimon collectables, and enhancing members' photography and videography skills. The open communication within the Digi-In community provides opportunities for industry collaboration to boost customer engagement and allows animators to align their creative work with market demands.

The role of social media and confirmation bias in victimization: Information consumption and opinion polarization

Technological advancement has contributed to the smooth and fast communication system where social media remain the top priority for human kind. Confirmation bias is a cognitive bias of human tendency to deducting information. Therefore, getting biased through unconfirmed media stories became a disease to the modern society. This article aims to explore and analyse the phenomenon of confirmation bias in cyber media, focusing on its impact on information consumption and polarization of opinions within online environments. Drawing upon existing literature and theoretical frameworks, namely Social Identity Theory, Cognitive Dissonance Theory, Selective Exposure Theory, and Agenda Setting Theory, this study provides a comprehensive understanding of the underlying mechanisms and effects of confirmation bias in the digital age. The research design combines qualitative analysis of selected scholarly articles and quantitative analysis of user data from social media platforms. The analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of the impact of confirmation biases in cyber media by synthesizing insights from scholarly literature and analysing user data. It helps identify the mechanisms through which confirmation biases manifest in online environments, sheds light on the potential consequences of such biases, and informs strategies for addressing and mitigating their effects.

Role of Cyber Media and Public Science Education

The purpose of this paper is to describe the role of cyber media in educating the public about science. This is very elementary because practical science knowledge will provide construction of knowledge and experience to students and society in general. This research method is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach. The data sources in this study are journal articles that are compatible with the research theme, other sources are manuscripts, thoughts, videos and others that can be substantially elaborated, so as to produce a complete picture of the theme of the study being discussed. The Effect of Reading Intensity on Perception of SARA Issues Frame News Tolikara Papua on July 17, 2015

This study aims to explain the effect of the intensity of reading news at metrotvnews.com on the attitude of the reader, to clarify the attitude of the reader toward reader perception about the news of Tolikara, Papua 17 Juli 2015. One of the factors that influence the credibility of the media is the intensity of journalists in reporting news. The effect of uncertainty of the news will make ambiguity of public perception. Data were obtained from 100 populations, using the nonprobability sampling technique model of purposive sampling. The results showed that the intensity of reading news on Metrotvnews.com had an effect of 0.327 or 32.7% on reader attitudes. The reader's perspective affects the reader's perception of the Tolikara news frame by 0.546 or 54.6%. Readers' attitudes modulate the impact of news intensity on readers' perceptions by 0.375, or 37.5%. This study concludes that cyber media still have an impact on agenda setting against the reader. Proved there is a significant relationship between the intensity of reading news and reader attitude to reader perception, it can be said that the longer individuals are exposed to an issue, so people will be affected by the agenda setting. Therefore, the media in covering the news must be impartial (covering both sides) and the principle of neutrality in the preparation of news.

DISEMINASI KOMUNIKASI POLITIK ISLAM DAN DAKWAH ERA KONVERGENSI MEDIA DIGITAL

The dissemination of Islamic political communication has accelerated with the presence of digital media. The public quickly received information about various political events with various issues that accompanied them. The issue of populism, radicalism in the name of religion, and marginalization of clerics to identity politics is part of the conversation as an effect of access to digital media, including social media. The acceleration and openness of access to political news is the impact of media convergence. Media convergence occurs when the boundaries between various media disappear, eventually forming a single media. The convergence of media changes all elements of information into digital form. Religious phenomena expressed in the digital space, this study uses the concept of da'wah and cyber media as perspective choices, the aim is to answer the problem of how cyber da'wah activism is carried out by religious communities amid the convergence of digital media. So it can be concluded that cyber da'wah activism, in addition to calling for goodness and preventing evil, turns out that in its da'wah display it also illustrates other interests such as political and ideological interests hidden behind da'wah messages displayed through digital media.

Public Controversy in Viewing Covid-19 Information on Instagram

The Covid-19 pandemic, which has been going on for more than two years, has left various problems affecting health, the economy, and the flow of information in society. The government of Indonesia and related parties are trying to educate the public about the importance of booster vaccines and sustainability in maintaining health protocols through mass media, one of which is online mass media such as Instagram. In order to see the pros and cons of uploaded comments related to Covid-19 information, this study aims to examine the comparison of public responses in responding to information about the Covid-19 pandemic on the doctor's accounts @adamprabata and Ministry of Health @kemenkes_ri on Instagram. This study used a qualitative approach with a virtual ethnographic method based on Cyber Media Analysis. The data for this study are taken through observations from the two Instagram accounts related to information about Covid-19 in October - November 2022. This timeframe is chosen to see how the public perceives information related to Covid-19 when the Covid-19 pandemic has started to subside. However, there is concern that the number of sufferers will increase due to the emergence of the XBB subvariant. The results of the research show that ordinary people perceive Covid-19 as does not exist anymore. Thus, health protocol and vaccines were no longer necessary. Meanwhile, people who have sought health information in more depth by following doctors' accounts who frequently discuss health issues, including Covid-19 from different perspective.
