BUSINESS ASSESSMENT THROUGH A FINANCIAL RATIO APPROACH AT DAWET IRENG & KUPAT TAHU “5758” JAMBI

<p class="p" align="justify"><em>Jambi City is a city in Jambi Province that has experienced an increase in culinary businesses such as restaurants, cafes, restaurants, and stalls. In managing a business, financial planning and analysis are needed to achieve smooth business. One of the analyses is the examination of financial statements. The type of research used by the author is descriptive research with a quantitative approach that collects data that is objective and measurable. The data collection techniques that the author uses are observation, interviews, documentation, bibliography and secondary data. The results showed that Return On Equity for 3 years measured by profit after tax divided by own capital obtained an average result of 1.72% or was in poor condition. The results of Return On Investment in the year from 2020 increased by 0.17% or with a value of 1.87% in 2021 and decreased in 2022 with a value of 1.59%. Cash Ratio or the restaurant's ability to pay off current debt with cash has not changed or remains at a value of 2.75%. Current Ratio which measures the restaurant's ability to pay off current debt if debt is collected reaches 27.5% or is at the lowest assessment score, Collection Period measures the restaurant's ability to collect receivables for 3 years is very good by obtaining a maximum assessment. Inventory Turn Over for the last 3 years has a maximum value of 5 which can be concluded that the effectiveness of inventory turnover in the restaurant is very good. Total Asset Turn Over has increased and decreased with an average calculation value of 2.69%. Own Ratio Capital to Total Assets during the study received a value of 4 or the effectiveness of using assets for business for 3 years of bookkeeping is not good. From the 8 aspects of assessing these financial ratios, Dawet Ireng & Kupat Tahu “5758” Jambi has an average financial performance that is less healthy from a score of ≤ 7 to > 66.5 obtaining an average value of 22.5 or less good and needs to be improved in the next period</em><em>.</em><em></em></p>

The Effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) at PT Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk. for the Years 2011-2020

This study aims to determine: 1.) Effect of Return On Assets (ROA) Current Ratio (CR) and Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) on Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) at PT Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk. 2011-2020 Partially or Simultaneously, 2.) What is the Effect of Return On Assets (ROA) Current Ratio (CR) and Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) at PT Akasha Wira Internasional 2011-2020. In this study, researchers used quantitative research methods.The type of data used is secondary data. Data collection techniques thatused in this study using library research. With data analysis technique that uses multiple linear regression analysis and testhypothesis by using SPSS Version 26 . Based on the results of the study, it shows that: ROA has a significant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) at PT Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk in 2011-2020, CR has an effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) in PT Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk in 2011- 2020. However, DER Does not affect the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) at the company PT Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk. Simultaneously there is a significant effect on ROA, CR, and DER at the DPR PT Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk 2011-2020. The regression equation obtained is: Y=-0,328+0.868X1+0.321X2-1,056X3. The effect of ROA, CR and DER on DPR at PT Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk 2011-2020 is only 21% while the remaining 79% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Association Between Medical Debt and Vaccine Uptake in the USA, 2021-2022.

Many individuals do not receive recommended vaccines, increasing infectious disease morbidity and mortality. It is unknown whether the financial practices of US healthcare institutions contribute to vaccine hesitancy. To determine whether medical debt is associated with low vaccine uptake. Cross-sectional analysis of the association between medical debt and vaccine receipt. 56,373 adult participants in the 2021-2022 National Health Interview Survey. Presence of medical debt at the time of survey administration. We used logistic regression models to assess whether medical debt was associated with recent vaccine receipt, adjusting for sociodemographic, health, and access-to-care variables. We performed a sensitivity analysis restricted to individuals with health insurance and conducted a falsification test of the hypothesis that current medical debt would not be associated with remote prior vaccination (i.e., > 1year prior, likely before debt acquisition). Individuals with medical debt were less likely than those without such debt to receive any recent vaccine (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] 0.83, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.76-0.91), including influenza vaccination (aOR 0.83, 95% CI 0.75-0.91) or COVID-19 vaccination (aOR 0.79, 95% CI 0.69-0.91). Analyses limited to insured individuals had similar findings (aOR for any recent vaccination 0.79, 95% CI 0.72-0.88). In the falsification test, current medical debt was not associated with remote prior vaccination (aOR 1.04, 95% CI 0.93-1.16). Current medical debt is associated with lower likelihood of recent vaccine receipt in both insured and uninsured individuals. Policies that minimize medical debt may improve vaccine coverage.

United States federal indebtedness and fiscal policy trade‐offs

AbstractProjected federal spending and taxes are distributed by birth year, gender, race, and lifetime education, using the Congressional Budget Office's 10‐year budget estimates and the Penn Wharton Budget Models' microsimulation. This enables measurement of conventional federal fiscal imbalance (FI): $162.6 trillion in present value, which is six‐fold larger than current debt held by the public. FI implies a shortfall of 26.1% in federal taxes, alternatively, an excess of 33.4% of federal expenditures. The equi‐proportional shortfall of expenditures plus taxes equals 14.6%. Excluding taxes and transfers of some groups, such as the elderly, increases the measured shortfall.

Pengaruh Current Ratio Dan Debt To Equity Ratio Terhadap Return On Asset Pada PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the influence of the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio on Return On Assets at PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk. The method used in this research is the correlation method with a quantitative approach. The type of data used is secondary data. The population used in this research is the financial reports at PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk, with a research sample of 13 financial report data per year for the 2011-2023 period and the sample determination technique used the Purposive Sampling method. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple regression using SPSS version 25. The research results show that the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio simultaneously have a significant effect on Return On Assets at PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk. Current Ratio partially has a significant effect on Return On Assets at PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk. Debt to Equity Ratio partially has no significant effect on Return On Assets at PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk.

THE INFLUENCE OF CURRENT RATIO AND DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO ON RETURN ON ASSETS AT PT HANJAYA MANDALA SAMPOERNA TBK FOR THE PERIOD 2013 - 2022

This study examines the influence of Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk over the period from 2013 to 2022. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, the research aims to clarify the relationship between CR, DER, and ROA in evaluating the company’s financial health and profitability. The findings reveal that CR does not have a significant individual impact on ROA, indicating that the company’s short-term liquidity does not directly affect its asset profitability. Conversely, DER has a significant negative impact on ROA, suggesting that higher debt relative to equity reduces asset returns, primarily due to increased interest burden. Simultaneously, CR and DER together have a significant impact on ROA, highlighting the need for balanced management of liquidity and leverage to maximize profitability. This study provides insights for company management and investors in assessing the financial strategies related to liquidity and debt structure to improve asset returns.

ANALISA KINERJA KEUANGAN UNTUK KEPUTUSAN PEMBERIAN KREDIT PADA BANK MANDIRI KCP BELAWAN

This research aims to determine the influence of Financial Performance Analysis on Credit Granting Decisions at Bank Mandiri KCP Belawan. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that the factors that can make a credit application accepted by the bank are (1) the debtor already has an official business license and NPWP, (2) the debtor must have 50% capital before applying for credit and the business is managed directly by the debtor himself. , (3) The debtor must be cooperative and open when asked about his efforts to arrange credit, (4) The debtor has never had a history of arrears in payments. (5) The debtor has never been involved in legal problems, (6) The value of the collateral provided by the debtor must be in accordance with the market price when applying for credit, (7) The established business has been running for approximately 1 year, (8) The business location is convenient accessible to local residents. If a business has no debt (current debt = 0), neither the current ratio nor the quick ratio can be calculated in the usual way and is considered undefined or infinite, then this shows that the business has a very strong liquidity condition because there are no liabilities. short term needs to be met.

The Effect of Current Ratio and Debt to Assets Ratio on Debt to Equity Ratio at PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk Which are Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the Periode 2013-2022

This study aims to analyse how PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, a company listed on the BEI in Indonesia, is affected by the CR and DAR in relation to its DER. Using a purposive selection strategy, this quantitative study draws 40 samples from financial records covering the years 2013–2022. Classical assumption testing and multiple linear regression analysis are the approaches utilised for data analysis. The F-test and the T-test are then used for hypothesis testing. The study found a medium amount of closeness between the CR and the DER, with a correlation value of -0.672342. A correlation value of 0.976407 between DAR and DER places it in the strong category. An study of the contribution of the independent variables, namely the CR and DAR, yields a DER value of 95.2%, while other factors account for the remaining 4.8%. Since it generates a sig value of 0.0000 < 0.05, the CR value significantly impacts the DER, according to incomplete study. With a sig value of 0.0000 < 0.05, DAR significantly impacts the DER. At the same time, the DER is significantly impacted by the two independent variables, CR and DAR, with a sig value of 0.0000 < 0.05

Dividend Policy Study Reviewed from Liquidity and Debt Ratio: Signaling Theory Perspective in Indonesia

This study aims to analyze dividend policy in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by reviewing the effect of liquidity and debt ratios through the perspective of signaling theory. Using liquidity ratio proxied by Current Ratio (CR) and debt ratio measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), the results showed that liquidity has a significant negative effect on dividend policy, with a significance value of 0.000 and beta -2.933. This indicates that the higher the liquidity, the lower the dividend policy applied by the company. On the other hand, the debt ratio has a significant positive effect on dividend policy, with a significance value of 0.000 and beta 0.729, which indicates that the higher the company's leverage, the greater the dividend policy distributed. This finding supports the signaling theory perspective, where companies use dividend policy to signal to investors about the company's financial condition and stability. This study suggests that firms consider the balance between liquidity, debt structure, and dividend policy, and pay attention to how these decisions can affect market perceptions and relationships with investors.

ANALISIS CURRENT RATIO DAN DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO TERHADAP RETURN ON EQUITY PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR SEKTOR INDUSTRI DASAR DAN KIMIA SUB SEKTOR SEMEN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

This research aims to analyze the influence of the current ratio and debt to equity ratio on return on equity in Cement Sub-Sector Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study are cement sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this research is based on predetermined criteria, the number of agricultural sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018 - 2023 that have met the criteria in sampling is 6 companies. The results of the partial analysis show that the Current Ratio has a partial positive and significant effect on the Return On Equity of cement sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Debt to Equity Ratio has a positive and partially significant effect on Return On Equity of cement sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Return On Equity in cement sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Sustainability of lending diversification of sub-Saharan African low-income countries

The momentum in sub-Saharan low-income countries is leading to diversifying their funding sources to cover large infrastructure expenditures. This situation meets the expectations of international investors who are still willing to explore new opportunities. Recent access to the Eurobond market by these new players has resulted in the growing substitution of traditional concessional loans by market ones in countries with low-debt portfolios. Thus, a new sustainability approach is required to include risk premiums and potentially versatile investor behaviors. First, we use a theoretical model to show that in a context of low international interest rates, debtor countries can continue to stabilize their level of debt either through budget deficit, if it remains below a given sustainability threshold, or through budget surplus in a downturn context (high-interest rates and spreads). Second, the versatile behavior of investors could be challenging. Third, global liquidity greatly influences the debt dynamics of SSA countries so it matters more for bond spreads than domestic factors. As our empirical study shows that the current debt situation of sub-Saharan African low-income countries increasingly involved in the Eurobond market remains under control. To avoid the worst-case scenario, strong institutions should be a priority, along with appropriate management tools and methods of debt monitoring to cope with all potential vulnerability caused by undesirable side effects of such unstable behaviors.

The aim of this researcher is to analyze and explain financial performance in terms of Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Equity (ROE) , Current Ratio (CR) and Quick Ratio (QR) at PT. Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna, Tbk, through financial report analysis will determine the company's ability to generate profits and determine the company's ability to fulfill its obligations and the results the company has achieved from its operational activities. The type of research carried out is descriptive research. The results of descriptive and statistical analysis showed that PT. Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna, Tbk's Net Profit Margin (NPM) is in the bad category, this indicates that the company is less able to maximize the value of its profits. Return on Equity (ROE) is in the bad category. This indicates that the company has not been able to manage capital well and generate company profits. The Current Ratio (CR) is in the good category. This indicates that the company is able to pay short-term obligations or debts that are due. The Quick Ratio (QR) is in the good category. Pengaruh CR dan DER Terhadap ROA Pada Perusahaan Subsektor Industri Tambang Emas Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2018-2022

This research is motivated by the decreasing production of gold mines every year, which will also affect the company's profitability. As for the methods used to measure the level of profitability of a company, one of them is by using return on assets. The level of profitability is also influenced by several other factors, including the current ratio and debt to equity ratio. The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of the Current Ratio and Debt To Equity Ratio on Return On Assets, both partially and simultaneously. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. Researchers collected, classified and analyzed sample data using purposive sampling techniques. With 6 company samples consisting of 30 data selected and analyzed using the IBM SPSS version 27 program. The results of research and partial hypothesis testing. Current Ratio has no significant effect on Return On Assets with a value of tcount 1.228 < ttable 2.052. Debt To Equity Ratio has a significant effect on Return On Assets with a value of tcount 2.725 > ttable 2.052. The results of research and hypothesis testing with a value of Fcount 4.020 > Ftable 3.369 from the Current Ratio and Debt To Equity Ratio simultaneously have a significant effect on the Return On Assets of gold mining industry subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period.

The Effect Of Current Ratio And Debt To Equity Ratio On Stock Returns

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio on Stock Returns in Infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023. The highest Debt to Equity Ratio value is owned by WSKT, WIKA, and ACST, and the lowest is owned by GOLD. The highest Stock Return is owned by CASS, ISAT, and JSMR, and the lowest is owned by BUKK. Socioeconomic Correlates of Suicidal Ideation in Military Veterans: Examining the Interaction Between Homelessness and Financial Debt.

Studies in veterans have yet to examine interconnections between homelessness, financial debt, and suicidal ideation. We analyzed data from a nationally-representative study conducted in 2021 of low-income U.S. veterans (N = 1,004). Analyses revealed veterans who were younger, male, had a history of criminal arrests, met criteria for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), reported greater loneliness, or had both a history of homelessness and higher debt were more likely to endorse suicidal ideation. We found an interaction between a history of homelessness and current debt: 40% of veterans with both past homelessness and higher debt reported suicidal ideation, whereas only 10% of veterans with either past homelessness or higher debt reported suicidal ideation. As past homelessness and current debt interacted to increase the odds of suicidal ideation in a national sample of veterans, these results inform policy and clinical decision-making for suicide prevention and in programs serving veterans experiencing homelessness.

Internal determinants of financial performance among listed food supermarkets in the South African economy

This study aims to examine the internal determinants of financial performance of food supermarkets listed on the South African stock exchange. Food supermarkets play an integral role in socio-economic development of the country. The study employed an econometric approach utilizing fixed effect panel data. Drawing information from audited financial statements, data were gathered from four major listed food supermarkets in South Africa covering the period from 1994 to 2022, resulting in a total of 116 observations over 29 years. The robust longitudinal statistics obtained from balanced data revealed a significant positive correlation between equity financing, size of corporate governance, and current debt with financial performance, as measured by sales revenue at 0.0000, 0.054, and 0.000 significance levels, respectively. The findings indicate that as these variables increase, the financial performance of the studied food supermarkets (Shoprite, Woolworths, Spar, and Pick n Pay) also increases. Conversely, a negative and significant relationship is noted between company age, current assets, and financial performance at significance levels of 0.007 and 0.002, respectively. This suggests that as these variables increase, financial performance will decrease. As per the research findings, it is imperative for supermarkets to uphold a well-rounded blend of equity and debt and adopt inventive business approaches as they mature to improve financial outcomes. Therefore, the study proposes a framework focusing on internal factors that impact the financial performance of listed food supermarkets in South Africa.

Examination of the Effects of Own Capital, Debt to Equity Ratio, And Current Ratio on Remaining Business Results in Savings and Loans Cooperatives in East Manggarai

This research was conducted to analyze the influence of the current ratio, debt-to-equity ratio, and own capital on remaining business results in the East Manggarai Wae Motu cooperative (KSP) in the 2016-2022 period. This research uses quantitative data methods to assess the influence of the current ratio, debt-to-equity ratio, and own capital on remaining business results. The secondary data used is in the form of financial reports and balance sheets. This data was obtained from the Wae Motu Cooperative (KSP) East Manggarai. The research results show that the current ratio, debt-to-equity ratio, and own capital influence the remaining business results. Meanwhile, partially, the variables current ratio and debt to equity ratio do not affect remining business results. At the same time, capital itself influences remaining business results in cooperatives in East Manggarai.

Pengaruh likuiditas dan Leverage Terhadap Nilai Perusahaan: Studi Kasus pada Perusahaan Sektor Industri Dasar dan Kimia yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2018-2022

This study aims to find out how the Current Ratio and Debt To Equity Ratio affect Company Value. in companies in the Basic Industry and Chemical Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period. The research method used is qualitative and sampling techniques using Purpisive sampling with the number of samples obtained in this study as many as 40 companies from 73 companies in the basic and chemical industry sectors. The data collection technique in this study uses secondary data, namely financial report data that has been published by companies in the basic industry and chemical sectors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Based on the results of the test, it shows that partially the Current ratio (CR) has a positive effect on the Company's Value. Debt To Equity Ratio has a negative effect on the Company's Value. The results of the study also show that simultaneously the Current Ratio (CR) and Debt To Equity ratio (DER) have an effect on the Company's Value.

Analisis Pengaruh Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Total Asset Turn Over (Tato) terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) pada PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk Periode 2013-2023

This research aims to determine the influence of Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turn Over (TATO) partially or simultaneously on Return On Assets (ROA). The method in this research uses quantitative methods. The sample selection process can involve purposive sampling techniques, namely determining samples using certain criteria. The financial reports studied for the 2013-2023 period are the financial data of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. The type of data used is secondary data. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test), hypothesis testing (t test and F test) and coefficient of determination (r-square). The results of the research prove that partially the Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have no effect on Return On Assets (ROA), while Total Asset Turn Over (TATO) has a significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA). Simultaneously Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turn Over (TATO) have a significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA).

Economic and Political Determinants of Sovereign Default and IMF Credit Use: A Robustness Assessment Post 2010

According to the IMF, the current public debt makes up nearly 40 percent of the global debt, marking the highest share since the mid-1960s. Despite the vast research on alarming levels of sovereign default, the literature remains inconclusive. This paper investigates macroeconomic, financial, and political determinants of IMF credit use in the post-2010 era. The main contribution of our study lies in its temporal analysis as we investigate how the robustness of different factors has evolved. By utilizing an extensive dataset on 216 countries over the period of 2010–2021 and employing a variant of the Extreme Bounds Analysis (EBA) method, our study reveals that fluctuations in the IMF credit to external debt ratio can be attributed to changes in the total reserves to external debt ratio, where this relationship is statistically significant and reliable. However, high political risks seem to no longer affect the IMF’s decision, post 2010. Furthermore, our findings demonstrate that excluding countries with low debt arrears strengthens the results’ robustness. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the complexities surrounding IMF credit use in the contemporary global economic scene and offer new standpoints on the Fund’s lending choices.
