Yuan blue-and-white porcelain, a treasure of Chinese ceramic art, is renowned worldwide for its unique artistic value and cultural significance. With the continuous advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the artistic innovation of Yuan blue-and-white porcelain is experiencing new opportunities. AI technology not only improves the efficiency and quality of creation but also breaks through traditional physical limitations, enabling the creation of more diverse and creative artworks. By integrating augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies, AI provides new ways to display and interact with Yuan blue-and-white porcelain art. In non-physical artistic innovation, AI generates new designs through deep learning algorithms, breaking free from the constraints of traditional handmade processes and creating diverse works. Technologies like generative adversarial networks (GANs) can produce highly realistic Yuan blue-and-white designs, while convolutional neural networks (CNNs) can quickly generate design sketches, enhancing creative efficiency. AI can also optimize designs, improving the artistic quality and visual effects of the works.AR and VR technologies offer immersive experiences and interactivity for the audience. Through virtual exhibition spaces and AR applications, viewers can appreciate Yuan blue-and-white artworks as if they were physically present, enhancing interactivity and visual appeal. VR technology, through virtual exhibitions and other means, enhances the viewing experience and impact of the artworks. The application of AI technology in the non-physical artistic innovation of Yuan blue-and-white porcelain not only enhances creation efficiency and quality but also brings limitless possibilities to artistic creation. The combination of AR and VR technologies further enhances the visual appeal and interactivity of Yuan blue-and-white art. As technology continues to advance, AI will play an increasingly important role in the artistic innovation of Yuan blue-and-white porcelain, creating more splendid artworks.

Copyright Issues in the Artworks Generated by Artificial Intelligence

This article explores the upcoming issues and legal challenges in copyright law brought by AI-generated artworks. As AI technologies improve, the creation of art by AI has raised problems regarding authorship, originality, and the application of existing copyright frameworks. By analyzing cases happened in different region about copyright in AI-generated art, it is discovered that different attitudes toward AI-generated artworks under current copyright framework. While the United States show a relatively conservative stance, insisting that the role of author must be human, other countries such as Can dada and China began to admit the authorship of AI, accepting AI as a way to achieve creativity and originality. Based on the existing situation, the article provided possible solutions, aiming to protect copyright of creative artworks generated by AI and accept AI as artistic tool that could increase efficiency and creativity.

Creative Artwork of Elementary School Children's Dance Drama Performance Based on Folklore (Folklore) of Kediri City

Problems encountered related to art education include the rareness of alternative literacy of art forms for elementary school students based on culture. Local art products such as the Panji story will be very valuable if elaborated in the world of children in the form of performing arts. Involving children in the creative process of practicing art can provide empirical experience to improve their creativity. This study aims to determine the level of validity, originality of the work and the applicability of drama dance performance art works for elementary school children. The method of developing this drama dance art work is carried out with the stages of observation, exploration, composition and evaluation. The results of the study showed that the product of the creation of elementary school children's drama dance performance art based on folklore is very valid/suitable for use. This is evidenced by the score of 4.80 obtained by the dance expert validator. The validation results are related to the variety of movements, floor patterns, costumes and make-up. While the second validator obtained a score of 5 which means that the Panji Laras drama dance product/work is very valid/suitable for use. The validation results include the level of originality of the work, novelty and applicability for elementary school children. Thus, the work of dance drama performance art entitled Panji Laras is very valid/worthy of being used.

Experimenting with arts-based methods and affective provocations to understand complex lived experience of a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder

This article draws on arts-based psycho-social research to explore embodied and visceral knowing and feeling in the context of people living with a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (BPD). It presents a discussion of creative artworks solicited through a nation-wide online survey conducted in Australia in 2021 that generated intimate and affective understanding about living with a diagnosis of BPD. To investigate what lived experiences of distress associated with a BPD diagnosis communicate through sensation, emotion, image and affective capacity, the authors put to work Blackman's (2015) concept of “productive possibilities of negative states of being” and the broader theoretical framework of new materialism. This approach allows a more transformative feeling-with that exceeds the normative affective repertoires and scripts associated with a diagnosis of BPD. The authors recognise the often unspoken and invisible affects of complex mental distress and trauma, and purposefully open the space for affective and symbolic aspects of creative artworks to communicate what is less known or has less presence in dominant biomedical frameworks about living with a BPD diagnosis. The article foregrounds the lived and living experience of participants to generate experiential rather than clinical understandings of the diagnosis.

Arts Communication Model: The Development of Performing Arts through Empowering Cultural Art-Based Tourism

Indonesia has many traditional’s arts. However, not all Indonesian people treat them to protect sacred objects since art is considered as a finished cultural product. Considering that the performing arts have not been well communicated for providing and empowering the community’s benefits except for home entertainment and stage performances, this research aims to create a model of performing arts communication through empowering cultural art-based tourism. The research method used is a qualitative approach and creative artwork using the RD method by analyzing various performing arts in West Java, by collaborating on art’s packaged in the form of tourist performance, field tests are carried out through performances in tourist areas, performances through art’s festivals. This research resulted in a workflow for developing cultural art to create art products and cultural art-based tourism spaces to arrive at a model of performing art’s communication. An important contribution from the perspective of performing arts communication is the understanding of value relations between actors and their public. Social, cultural, economic, political, educational, environmental, and tourism’s values become meaningful references in creating art and tourism spaces for the community’s sustainable development.

Artworks as Protest after Rana Plaza Collapse: Frames, Emotions, and Injustices in the Workers’ Rights Movement in Bangladesh

This article details the framing of emotions and workplace injustices through creative avenues and the politics of communication by activist artists from all over the world that worked in the aftermath of the Rana Plaza collapse in 2013 at Savar near Dhaka in Bangladesh. Analyzing poems, photographs, and dramatic performances, used during the protests against Rana Plaza owners, factory owners and the government, I argue that such creative works not only frame the injustices against workers but also the reflexive, affective and moral emotions to motivate audiences in resisting such injustices. After the collapse of Rana Plaza, activists framed their protests trying to express their own anguish and incite different kinds of emotions among their audience that will in turn make them active in protest. Although it is impossible to measure the impact of these creative works of art as protest, these art works are from local and international artists and were presented to transnational audiences, which sheds light on the diffusion of the protest around the world. Reading beauty through the views of philosophers and its reflection in graphic design

The creative production of the philosophy of beauty in artistic works constitutes a step towards development and progress by meeting the growing and changing needs of humanity according to various factors, including those related to the human situation and others related to technical outputs, as well as the multiplicity of the field for the emergence of new artistic currents and movements concerned with graphic production and communication and communication processes that It is associated with imagination and freedom from social and cultural constraints, in which the design production seeks to link more realistic intellectual contents with the achievements of the creative artwork as a communication system to involve the recipient (the viewer) in achieving paths of development in the aesthetic taste. Rather, research, excavation, and exploration of beauty and its artistic goals in order for the recipient to move from the role of the viewer or listener to the role of the participant as a reader and critic with his philosophy, experience, and culture that are determined by his social and cultural conditions and intellectual orientations, especially for those posts through social networking sites that strip thought through openness and freedom from all restrictions. Accordingly, the viewer recipient has a role in expressing opinion, admiration, analysis and characterization according to skills that have been acquired gradually, conditional and unconditional. Most institutions seek to achieve their readings in all dimensions, including the aesthetic dimension, to reach the highest level of achieving aesthetic reception and absorption of the productions in all their graphic, photodigital, fixed and mobile classifications.

Critical Factors and Trends in NFT Technology Innovations

Non-fungible token (NFT) products are important for industrial applications. In recent years, they have rapidly gained importance in the field of blockchain combined with metaverse. The concept of NFTs has developed gradually, as many industries have begun using NFTs creatively to raise new business innovation opportunities in entrepreneurship. However, few studies have been conducted analyzing critical features of NFTs for success, trends, and challenges in NFT products. In this study, group discussions, case analysis methods, and the OpenSea database were used to analyze fashion trends among NFT products. A mixed method was used in this study. Quantitative and qualitative data derived from the questionnaire and group discussions were analyzed using the case study method, and the actual historical trading data of NFT products obtained from the OpenSea platform were analyzed. This study analyzed NFT products, fashion characteristics, and trends in NFT artwork. The opportunities and challenges of NFT applications and sustainable NFTs are discussed in this study. Our research results show that the most attractive NFT product types are collectible digital works and creative artworks. The critical design characteristics are lovely (cute), beautiful, and interesting. We recommend that NFT makers use the above-mentioned characteristics to create NFT artworks with special design characteristics to increase NFT values. The advantage of NFTs is that makers can freely create their works through the NFT platform, which can decrease the limitations of traditional methods such as the need for venues, exhibition setup costs, and intermediaries’ commissions. The major challenges of current NFT applications include usability challenges, security and privacy issues, and governance considerations. We believe that our research results can provide useful directions and strategies for future researchers, makers, and ventures seeking to develop NFT applications. Our research results, such as identifying the critical design factors and current trends in NFTs, can provide guidelines for art design and innovation education. In addition, this study discusses the applications of NFTs in sustainable education, which can provide benefits for sustainable educational development to meet the goal of quality education in SDG4.

“The Chant of Joy Dadaocheng”: A STEAM Program for Art Talented Students

A STEAM curriculum integrated with science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics would help gifted students actively explore and integrate knowledges across the fields. In this study, a program “the Chant of Joy Dadaocheng” was designed by five teachers from various fields for students to explore historical culture, produce creative artworks, and present their performances. 15 students identified through the Identification Committee Board for gifted and talented students in Taipei City participated the program. After 5 days enrichment activities, a semi-structured interview, behavior observations, script, and artworks were collected to assess the learning outcomes. The data collected were coded, classified, and interpreted. The results indicated the participated students could derive new ideas from the historical and cultural context through artworks, props, music, choreography, stories, and sentiment; they were able to transform inspirations from learning experience into creative presentation; and exhibited cross-disciplinary literacy, creativity and problem-solving ability.

Evaluating programs for young people with a family member with mental health challenges: protocol for a mixed methods, longitudinal, collaborative evaluation

BackgroundYoung people with a sibling or parent who experiences mental health challenges have their own support needs. Most programs designed for this population lack a strong evidence base, and the involvement of young people in the development and evaluation of programs designed to support them is unclear or lacking.MethodsThis paper describes a protocol for a mixed methods, longitudinal, collaborative evaluation of a suite of programs delivered by The Satellite Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation for young people (5–25 years) who have a family member with mental health challenges. Young people’s lived experience and knowledge will guide the research approach. Institutional ethics approval has been obtained. Over a three year period, approximately 150 young people will be surveyed online on various wellbeing outcome measures, prior to, six and twelve months following program participation with data analysed using multi-level modelling. Groups of young people will be interviewed after participating in different Satellite programs each year. An additional group of young people will be interviewed individually over time. Transcripts will be analysed using thematic analysis. Young people’s creative artworks on their experiences will be included as part of the evaluation data.DiscussionThis novel, collaborative evaluation will provide vital evidence on young people’s experiences and outcomes during their time with Satellite. Findings will be used to inform future program development and policy. The approach used here may guide other researchers engaging in collaborative evaluations with community organisations.

Swakaryaloka: Naturalist based street chic creation

The creation of this naturalist-based street chic ready-to-wear fashion was made with the aim of minimizing liquid waste from chemicals and displaying environmentally friendly clothing. The method used is an experimental method with natural dye techniques, namely dyeing or coloring derived from plants and eco print techniques, which are unique in the form of leaf traces with contemporary art. The creative process used is the ten steps of creating a frangipani fashion design, including idea exploration, research, aesthetic element analysis, design development, sample making, promotion, branding affirmations, to the fashion business. The final collection is entitled Swakaryaloka which is a creative work of art in visualizing clothing using natural dyes that utilize the surrounding nature as an object to produce an environmentally friendly fashion product. The creation of this street chic fashion design is adapted to the trend of spirituality, a change in mindset that is more grounded in preserving nature and respect for the work process. There is a total of 9 looks which are divided into three groups, namely memorable, contemporary, and hopeful. The groups displayed environmentally friendly clothing that had a storyline from the condition of the color of the polluted water to the color of the water being clean or normal. Each look is analyzed using design elements and principles using aesthetic theory.&#x0D; Keywords: natural dye, eco print, spirituality, street chic.

Physical representation of female character in children’s novels by children

Literary work is a form and result of creative works of art whose objects are humans and their lives use language as a medium. Especially children's literature by children, basically has its own advantages. The storyline is unique and interesting and builds the expression of the child's world. This study aims to describe the physical aspects of female characters in children's novels by children. This paper is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The approach used in this study is a psychological literacy approach. The technique of collecting research data was done by reading carefully accompanied by marking. The analytical technique used is a symbolic hermeneutic technique. Based on the results of the study, the findings of this study relate to the physical aspects of female characters in children's novels which include physical aspects in terms of gender, physical aspects in terms of age, physical aspects in terms of facial characteristics, the physical aspect in terms of the clothes used, and the physical aspect in terms of the state of the body (senses). In C: Towards a ‘Bionian’ Theory of Creativity

While Wilfred Bion did not formally develop a theory of art and creativity, Bion's work, both as a psychoanalytic theorist and a surprisingly creative writer, offers the possibility to discern a ‘Bionian’ theory of creativity drawing on his theory of thinking (Bion, 1993). He frequently referenced the work of many different artists and thinkers, including John Milton, William Shakespeare, and Leonardo da Vinci, and his last major work, A Memoir of the Future, is explicitly an experimental and creative text blending fiction, autobiography, and theory. A number of key ideas, such as the thought without a thinker, the stray or wild thought, the construction of the necessary dream, and Bion's use of Elliott Jaques’ idea of the integrative reticulum as a model of the container‐contained relationship are brought together to imagine a new kind of transformation, the transformation ‘in C’, where C is understood chiefly as a shorthand for creativity and its role in communication between minds, but also with echoes of row C (the level of dreams and myths) of the Grid. Bion is shown to draw comparison between the artist, the psychotic, and the psychoanalyst, and he invites the practising therapist to consider their work a kind of creative artwork.

캡스톤디자인에서 나타난 아트 마스크작품 연구 - 코로나19로 인한 환경변화를 모티브로 -

This study attempted to investigate art masks from the capstone design course, taking environmental changes as motives. For this, a total of 25 students attending the capstone design course in a beauty college were divided into several groups (5 persons per group). Among the groups, one group developed 5 different art masks with waste human hair to examine the influence of COVID-19 on environmental pollution. In beauty industry, it is required to recycle supplies and materials which can cause such pollution to prevent environmental pollution. In this sense, this study aimed to create art masks in a creative and artistic fashion, using waste human hair. A total of five different artworks under each different theme were created: “Ocean-themed Earth”, “Humans Polluting the Ocean”, “Deity Suffering from Marine Wastes”, “Night Sea Guardian”, “The Sea Revitalized and Goddess of the Sea”. If environmental pollution can be reduced through up-cycling in a beauty sector, hairdressing could be a more promising career in the future. It is anticipated that more students would grow into professional cosmetologists studying total design. In addition, it is expected that there would be further efforts to nurture talents through such art activities and keep producing creative artworks.

Reflection of Life within the Context of Electronic Waste Art

This project was engaged closely in how the reflection of autobiographical factors was utilised and expanded into artwork dealing with electronic waste art features. The artwork that was formed was developed through the process of understanding the inquiries of electronic fabrication from the previous work that related to the formation of new work. The artwork was created and associated with the changes and the transformation of installation and reflection of life home place artwork. This project shared the potential of the new form of the object within the context of electronic waste and represented contemporary strategies in creative artwork making.

Berwirausaha Batik Ecoprint: Pelatihan dan Pendampingan pada Darma Wanita Dinas Pangan, Pertanian, dan Perikanan Kota Balikpapan

Entrepreneurship is one of the driving forces of the economy in a household and can be used to improve the economy in an area. The more people who have the passion and desire in entrepreneurship will be able to create jobs and reduce unemployment so that the economy in an area will increase. To be able to have an entrepreneurial spirit, a creative and innovative thinking is needed in running a business,. At this time batik which is one of the inheritances from our ancestors is starting to be favored by all people for various things including for modern clothing, interior goods. Therefore need to create creative works of art by exploring and combining ecoprint and batik techniques into textile artworks. In this service activity, we try to provide training on making ecoprint batik by utilizing existing natural resources, namely leaves by going through various stages, namely: the mordanting stage, sketching, steaming, lifting and cooling the fabric, color locking and drying. This training was attended by women from the Department of Food, Agriculture, and Fisheries of Balikpapan City. The results of this service show that the training participants are enthusiastic about taking the training seriously, which is shown by the participants following from beginning to end and they practice how to make ecoprint at the training site.

Anti-Asian Racism and Racial Justice in the Classroom

This article discusses the urgent issues and concerns about anti-Asian racism in our society and provides several pedagogical strategies to counter anti-Asian racism. We begin by discussing the history and context of anti-Asian racism in the US, from which we trace the historical origins and contexts of anti-Asian racism, violence, and stereotypes in popular culture and media. After that, we share several anti-Asian racism teaching strategies and practices, drawn from and influenced by the creative artworks of Asian contemporary artists such as Lisa Wool-Rim Sjöblom, Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya, and Monyee Chau, who demonstrate subverting racism against Asians during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Finally, after engaging our students in anti-Asian racism lessons, we share their art projects and written testimonials about anti-Asian racism. As a result, we strongly encourage educators to use, in their art curriculum, both history and contemporary artworks by artists to address anti-Asian racism and social justice.
