From Backlogs to Bots: Generative AI's Impact on Agile Role Evolution

ABSTRACTThis position paper investigates the transformative impact of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) on Agile roles. Focusing on the product owner, developer, and scrum master, we analyze how GenAI redefines traditional tasks, encouraging a shift towards more strategic and creative functions. Through practical experience, we illustrate AI's role in enhancing Agile processes, its practices and emphasize the need for Agile practitioners to integrate AI understanding. These results highlight the balance between GenAI's efficiencies and Agile's human‐centric principles, proposing research directions for AI‐enriched Agile practices that promise to drive innovation and maintain the agility in a technologically progressive era.

The philosophy of liberation for/with children: in search of liberation and the creation of an ageless pueblo

From its origins, the philosophy of liberation has had both a critical and a creative aspect. The first seeks to critically examine domination, dependency, and the permanent effects of colonization. The second aims to create and re-create the liberation of peoples, developing and reconstituting ways of existing, imagining, thinking, and philosophizing that surpass colonial ways of existing, imagining, thinking, and philosophizing. Thus, for the philosophy of liberation, the liberation of peoples is distinguished from the notions of emancipation and freedom that hide reality under processes of ideologization. An example of the latter is modernity’s notion of emancipation. In this paper, I propose to approach the critical and creative function of the philosophy of liberation from a childist lens in which not only the voices of children are considered, but also the adultist and modern vision of emancipation is overcome. This will be particularly important to continue the legacy of the philosophy of liberation, and its mission to criticize and create from the political and philosophical participation of the victims in the processes of ideologization. From this legacy the children are participants, who, by engaging in pedagogical practices of liberation, act as un pueblo, a collective political actor without age. of the latter is modernity’s notion of emancipation. This article discusses the use of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence in the intellectual property management industry. Intellectual property is the result of human activity and an important product for society. Indeed, this product needs copyright protection. Blockchain is an information technology for data transmission and encryption. It is based on a chain of blocks recording the information about all transactions in the system. Artificial intelligence is the property of artificial intelligent systems to perform creative functions. Those traditionally considered the human prerogative. The use of these technologies will contribute to the development of a more convenient intellectual property management system: the use of blockchain and artificial intelligence in the field of intellectual property management is promising, as it greatly facilitates the digital processes; the use of blockchain helps to improve the protection of patent rights and facilitates the monetisation of intellectual property; artificial intelligence and machine learning make routine processes more effective.

Model-based abductive cognition: What thought experiments teach us

Abstract In this article, we want to demonstrate how thoughts experiments (TEs) incorporate cognitive structures—abductive inferences as conceptual metaphors—that reliably underpin everyday thinking and are enhanced and rendered more effective in scientific and philosophical contexts. Indeed one might successfully rethink the inferential structure at the heart of thought experiment production as the application of a generative abductive procedure. We shall characterize TES as possessing two characteristics that are essential to the definitions of abductive and metaphorical thinking, but when considered in relation to TE’s description, can excuse mild bewilderment: both knowledge-enhancing and ignorance-preserving features. In sum, we will say that TEs realize extended conceptual metaphors, which instantiate forms of abductive reasoning and, therefore, partially preserve the ignorance of the authors who produce them (even if they also increase a bit their knowledge by—so to speak—mitigating ignorance). In certain fortunate and exceptional instances, however, TEs can also provide a purely knowledge-enhancing benefit; in order to do this, a reference to the innovative and creative function of thought experiments in Galileo’s findings is also included.

Role of public transport in supporting the urban cultural and creative functions

In our three-year project, the team set the final goal as a proposal for future cities and public transportation linkages in the context of cultural and creative activities in cities. As the project leader, the author first introduces a basic discussion of cities and urban public transport modes, followed by an analysis of subjective accessibility related to well-being. Second, the author introduces field surveys in New York, London, and Wien as advanced cities with excellent cultural and creative activities, as well as Toyama City in Japan, where the importance of public space redesign related to quality public transport in conjunction with cultural and creative activities is identified. Finally, the author summarizes the conclusion of the research project, including the proposal as “Yoin City” (city or district where aftertaste of any cultural and creative activities is highly respected mainly with excellent design of urban public spaces and public transport services) with “new local” concept primarily for middle-sized cities in Japan.

BArBENHEIMEr OR oPPENBArBIE: A CASE STUDY IN LEXICAL CREATIVITY AND LUDICITY IN ENGLISH

Language creativity is a complex topic involving many different and mutually inter- twined aspects. In this paper we deal with lexical creativity in English and discuss several key issues relevant to it: the relationship between productivity and creativity, the concepts of ludicity and wordplay, the attention-seeking function of lexical creativity, and the importance of extra- linguistic factors in lexical creativity. To illustrate how these issues pertaining to lexical creativity are reflected in the actual process of forming creative coinages, we focus specifically on the at- tention-grabbing and the naming functions of lexical blending as one of the most creative and most playful word formation processes in English, using as an example the blend Barbenheimer, recently coined for a particular purpose of a double feature of the two different films premiering on the same date. We discuss the formal structure of this blend, its semantic features, as well as its iconicity and the degree of predictability exhibited in the way the names of two blockbusters were amalgamated to form a blend.

Targeted dream incubation at a distance: the development of a remote and sensor-free tool for incubating hypnagogic dreams and mind-wandering

Hypnagogia—the transitional state between wakefulness and sleep—is marked by “hypnagogic dreams,” during which our brains tend to forge connections among concepts that are otherwise unrelated. This process of creating novel associations during hypnagogic dreams is said to contribute to enhancing creativity, learning, and memory. Recently, researchers have proposed that mind-wandering—a form of spontaneous thought that is freely moving and characterized by transitioning thought content—might be subserved by processes similar to those engaged during hypnagogia, and may serve similar creative functions. However, to date, the relationship between hypnagogia and mind-wandering remains poorly understood, which is likely due in part to the fact that research into hypnagogia requires time-consuming, cumbersome, and costly polysomnography. In light of this, the present study had two primary aims: first, to test a novel tool—called Dormio Light—for cueing and indexing hypnagogic dream content in a cost- and time-effective manner, with the ability for remote administration; second, to use this tool to examine any relations between hypnagogic dreams and mind-wandering (defined as “freely moving thought”). Participants (N = 80, with 34 females) completed a task in which our tool prompted them to engage in hypnagogia and, separately, mind-wandering, with instructions to think about a common everyday object (Tree or Fork) while experiencing these cognitive states. Following each state, participants reported thought content and completed phenomenological questionnaires. Providing an initial validation of our tool, we successfully cued hypnagogic and mind-wandering thought content that was specific to our cues (e.g., Tree), with our incubation-rate results comparable to those found in laboratory-based studies. Further, we found evidence for some phenomenological differences between hypnagogia and mind-wandering reports. Our study offers a novel, cost- and time-effective tool with which to remotely cue and index hypnagogia and mind-wandering, and sheds light on the relationship between hypnagogia and mind-wandering, thereby providing future directions for research into these two cognitive states.

Folk Songs of Montenegro – from the First Field Recordings of Miodrag A. Vasiljević to Published Collections

The goal of this work is to introduce the general public to the enthusiasm, dedication and engagement of Miodrag A. Vasiljević (1903-1963), Serbia’s most renowned ethnomusicologist and music pedagogue, to melographical work. His melographic journey through the lands of Montenegro has been reconstructed from, among relevant sources, documents from the Miodrag A. Vasiljević Archive. A survey of the numerous collections of recorded folk songs has led to an in-depth look at the ethnomusicological collection Folk Songs of Montenegro in the Published Melographic Records of Miodrag A. Vasiljević, published by the Montenegro Academy of Science and Art and the Montenegro Music Centre in 2019. Vasiljević had, through melographic records, notes on folk singers, and studies, worked creatively by offering not only a written record, but also active communication across a great distance, thanks to the layered nature and levels of meaning in his approach to ethnomusicological material. His familiarisation with the formula of folk songs and with the creative functioning of folk singers is transmitted through written material and studies, and he searched for and found ways to rework a layered musical whole and operationalise it for a practical music-pedagogical application. The work also contains a look at this intriguing link between ethnomusicology and pedagogy which, through the creative work of one man, blazed a trail for both sciences in Serbia. At the same time, this connection is what makes Vasiljević unique as an ethnomusicologist and a music pedagogue, and that dialectic makes his legacy priceless. The article discusses the concept of “artificial intelligence”, its problems and prospects. Artificial intelligence is the property of artificial intelligent systems to perform creative functions that are traditionally considered the prerogative of humans. the science and technology of creating intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs. The article discusses the main characteristics of artificial intelligence. Features and examples of the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in the modern foreign educational space are shown. The history of artificial intelligence as a new scientific direction begins in the middle of the 20th century. By this time, many prerequisites for its origin had already been formed: among philosophers there had long been debates about the nature of man and the processes of cognition of the world, neurophysiologists and psychologists developed a number of theories regarding the work of the human brain and thinking, economists and mathematicians asked questions about optimal calculations and the presentation of knowledge about the world in in a formalized form; finally, the foundation of the mathematical theory of computing - the theory of algorithms - was born and the first computers were created. The formation of modern computer technologies has created a large number of cases that are related to: • human speech, the ability to learn to recognize and synthesize it; • development of technical vision mechanisms that will be able to recognize people’s faces; • the ability to teach cars to drive independently without human intervention, etc. [1]. Such systems that demonstrate and follow human behavior are called artificial intelligence. The study of artificial intelligence is an important direction in modern science. Artificial intelligence is a technology that contains a set of tools that help a computer, based on the studied data, provide answers to questions, and also draw conclusions based on this. Today, AI is essential for a wide range of industries, including healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and even government. МЕТОДОЛОГИЯ PIEF ПО ПОВЫШЕНИЮ ЭФФЕКТИВНОСТИ БИЗНЕС-ПРОЦЕССОВ И ИХ АВТОМАТИЗАЦИИ В МЕЖДУНАРОДНОЙ ОПТОВОЙ ТОРГОВЛЕ

The article is devoted to the study of modern approaches to increasing the efficiency of business processes and their automation in a company. As an example, the Precise Instructions For Employee To Follow methodology, compiled in the practical activities of the author of this study, is given - “precise instructions that an employee must follow,” or PIEF. The views of modern authors on solving problems of increasing the efficiency of business processes and their automation are systematized. The necessity of organizing labor processes (labor) in a company is substantiated as a primary factor in increasing the efficiency of business processes. The significant role of precise, simple and accessible instructions in the quality organization of personnel work is highlighted. The potential benefits are analyzed, including: reduction of losses and downtime due to clear regulation of actions; accessibility of the activity and its phased nature; maintaining the creative functions of employees; focus on a specific goal. The effectiveness of applying the author's methodology in the tasks of the international wholesale trade business is emphasized, since PIEF allows you to implement with high efficiency the entire range of typical tasks that arise in the activities of a wholesale trade enterprise.

Psychological capital mediates the mindfulness-creativity link: the perspective of positive psychology.

The positive mindfulness-creativity link has been widely documented; however, its underlying psychological mechanisms remain less understood. From the perspective of positive psychology, this study examined the mediating effect of psychological capital (PsyCap) on the effect of dispositional mindfulness on creative functioning. A total of 894 Chinese secondary school students in Hong Kong (50.8% female; M age = 15.5 years) completed the study. A cross-sectional design was used, in which context PsyCap and dispositional mindfulness were assessed by the Chinese version of the revised Compound PsyCap Scale (CPC-12R) and the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS), respectively. Moreover, by adopting the multiple-measurement approach to creativity, three commonly used creativity tests (i.e., the Wallach-Kogan Creativity Test/WKCT, the Test for Creative Thinking-Drawing Production/TCT-DP, and the Creative Problem-Solving Test/CPST) were applied to capture three aspects of creativity (i.e., divergent thinking, creative combination, and creative problem solving). The results suggest that (1) PsyCap partially but significantly mediated the mindfulness-creativity link for all three aspects of creative functioning, and (2) PsyCap demonstrated the strongest effect size in mediating the mindfulness-creativity link for creative problem solving, followed by creative combination and then divergent thinking. These results, on the one hand, support the positive psychology perspective by confirming a positive psychological resource mechanism regarding the relationship between mindfulness and creativity. On the other hand, the results regarding the varied sizes of the mediation effect further enrich the discourse on this perspective by showing that the mediation mechanism may function to different degrees depending on which aspect of creativity is under consideration. These findings illuminate the positive functioning of mindfulness, psychological resources/capital and creativity.

The function of creativity as an element of a modern language lesson design process

The work is a meta-analysis which discusses the sequences of a foreign language teacher’s activity during the process of organizing language classes, with particular emphasis on the issue of creativity. Significant sequences of the language learning system were indicated, along with the use of a number of divergent activities, based on the sequences of the creative organization of students’ contact with a foreign language. In the vast number of lessons the activities dealt with in the paper not only lead to much deeper involvement of students in the language learning process but also result in different forms of activation related to this process. Such steps are mostly referred to the activity of acquisition of both the structure and system of description of reality within the known foreign language. The final part of the work emphasizes the importance and quality of the function performed by the individual creativity of the teacher and student in the course of their glottodidactic activity.

Unadapted Foreign Language Insertions in Spoken Language of Tundra Yukaghir

The foreign language insertions in the language of the tundra Yukagirs-polyglots of the Lower Kolyma in Yakutia are considered for the first time. The relevance of the study is primarily dictated by the lack of research on contact phenomena in the Yukagir language as a whole, the decreasing number of speakers, and the importance of documenting this ancient language of Northeast Siberia. The goal of the study is to identify the functioning features of insertions in the modern spoken language of the tundra Yukagirs. The material consists of recordings of oral speech by Yukagirs in the form of polylogue, dialogue, and monologue, fragments of transcripts of which are introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The analysis shows that insertions in Yukagir speech are realized through Yakut and Russian insertions, originating from various parts of speech of the guest languages. The author concludes the relevance of the Yakut language as the second language after the ethnic one, due to the higher frequency of Yakut elements in Yakut speech compared to Russian ones. It has been established that insertions are marked by empty and filled pauses, vocal, lexical-semantic, and paralinguistic hesitations. It is noted that the creative function is realized through the manner of using insertions by individual Yukagir polyglots in their speech.

Risks of the Malicious Use of Artificial Intelligence and the Possibility of Minimizing Them

A rapid improvement of intellectual systems capable of performing creative functions, which was in the past viewed as a unique human ability, has been a breakthrough in the technology progress of recent years. As access to it became available for a wide range of people, the popularity of artificial intelligence (AI) in various spheres of human activities has rocketed. This phenomenon, however, is fraught with negative consequences — the use of AI systems for criminal purposes. The authors describe the character of such threats, and review the results of their analysis by foreign researchers, as this problem emerged abroad somewhat earlier than in our country. The application of international experience of counteracting the criminal use of artificial intelligence while taking into consideration national specifics is also useful from the standpoint of predicting further dynamics of the situation and reducing its negative consequences. The authors discuss such problems associated with the use of AI systems as the violation of copyright in generating images, the creation speech and video deepfakes for distance fraud and extortion, the dissemination of pornography, and discrediting people. The growing public danger of harassment and humiliation in AI-assisted cyberbullying is stressed. The case when a West European person committed suicide after communication with a chat bot of an AI system is highlighted, together with the fact that the bots’ creators were not prosecuted. Discussions on determining the subject of crimes in cases of accidents involving UAVs are studied, dangerous trends in the use of AI products in the military sphere are identified, and the necessity of prohibiting “autonomous weapons” at the international level is stressed. The authors analyze first attempts at the legal regulation of the use of AI products and propose the following measures of preventing, neutralizing and reducing the risks of AI systems’ malicious use: user verification, labeling of AI-created products, testing new systems for possible criminal use, quick reaction to criminal incidents by working out recommendations for their prevention, improvement of the systems to identify a covert use of AI, legislative changes that take into account new facts of publicly dangerous actions, limitation of the use of AI instruments in specific spheres (military, jurisprudence, expert work) and determination of the possibilities to use them for completing creative qualifying work, competition tasks, dissertations.

Team conflict at the core: Exploring the influence of critical team member conflict on team creative functioning

AbstractScholars have long been intrigued by the relationship between intrateam conflict and team creativity, though findings to date have been mixed. Recent research suggests that traditional conceptualizations of intrateam conflict as a property that is shared uniformly by team members (e.g., averaging members' overall conflict perceptions), rather than a more nuanced phenomenon between individual members with unique network positions, have limited our understanding of its influences. These advances, however, have yet to be substantively applied to the intrateam conflict‐creativity literature. Accordingly, we integrate network views of conflict with creativity theory and group motivated processing models to explore how task and relationship conflicts involving critical members' (i.e., members central to a team's workflow network) influence team creative functioning beyond overall conflict perceptions. We theorize that critical member task conflict is positively associated with team creativity by way of team reflexivity, and this positive indirect effect is accentuated by team shared goals. Further, we posit that critical member relationship conflict is negatively associated with team creativity by way of reduced team cohesion, though this effect is mitigated by critical member emotional intelligence. Analyses of 70 new product development teams support most hypotheses while also highlighting interesting nuance and future research opportunities.

If love is dependent upon the imagination, this implies vulnerability to disappointment or unappeasable longing: but it also makes space for the imagination as creative function or power. Investment attractiveness of the agro-industrial complex: problems and solutions

Relevance. The analysis of trends in the development of the agricultural sector is presented, which makes it possible to interpret the importance of increasing the investment attractiveness of the agricultural sector of the economy.Methods. Within the framework of a systematic approach, methods of economic research were used: systematic, bibliographic, comparative.Results. A number of the most common risks arising in the investment process have been identified. Based on theoretical considerations, it is established that the main disadvantage is the underestimation of the main indicators. The role and importance of methods for assessing the profitability of investments are determined. The most acceptable approaches in this area are highlighted. The mechanisms of adjusting the investment attractiveness of the agro-industrial complex are presented. The features of the study of the effectiveness of socio-economic development of the agro-industrial complex through its supply and creative functions are revealed. The importance of competitiveness factors is pointed out.In order to implement investment projects and programs in this context, it is necessary to develop and use management systems that increase the attractiveness of investments in agricultural enterprises. When evaluating alternatives (investment projects) with respect to essential objective functions, quantitative values (or utility values) are determined. An appropriate scale should be used for each objective function. The type of measurement scale depends on the measurement of the expression of the objective function. They should be presented in the order of levels — starting from the lowest level of measurability. The use of these techniques can significantly improve the quality of investment decision-making. In this study, it is considered that methodologies are particularly useful when creating a system for monitoring the investment attractiveness of organizations.

Philosophical and Methodological Challenges of Creativity

At all stages of its development, higher education considered the training of an educated specialist capable of improving their professional qualities, reproducing and expanding social experience, transforming the material conditions of society and its culture as well as accumulating and creating new values and knowledge as its main goal.
 At a certain stage, however, this social function of higher education – the formation and development of a creative personality of a specialist, became distorted, devalued, and lost its fundamental meaning. Higher education gradually began to lose its creative functions.
 The process of restructuring the political, spiritual, social, and economic life of society has posed new questions about the individual and the objective need for increasing the role of the creative personality.
 Studying the patterns of students’ thinking development, the peculiarities of their socialization under new conditions, and the realization of the creative abilities of the individual, while changing priorities and values, allows for predicting promising trends in the development of science, technology, and culture in the nearest future.
 An important methodological principle that should be embedded in the center of educational policy during the predicted period is the recognition that the progress of any society is measured by the ability to realize the essential capacities of individuals, their degrees of freedom, moral self-improvement, personal development, and the movement of society towards a new historical form of humanism.
 An individual in society should be free and retain the freedom of conscience, thought, skills, profession choice, cultural interests, aspirations, and priorities.

EDUCATOR’S STRATEGY FOR DEVELOPING CREATIVITY IN CHOIR TRAINING

Art education has a huge impact on the development of students’ creativity. In choir training, teachers must also have creativity in conveying learning material so that they can produce good-quality choral groups. The research purpose of this paper is to explain the function of art creativity, the implementation of music and choir learning in schools, and choir training strategies as a means of developing creativity. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive conceptual analysis method. The research uses a conceptual analysis method that examines various literature related to the research objectives. The data analysis techniques are carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and data analysis. The results of data analysis indicate that the art of music education and choir training can be a means of developing creativity for the art performers, either students or teachers. Choir training can encourage students to be creative in expressing the song that is sung. Therefore, it is essential for teachers who have knowledge and skills to seek learning strategies in choir arts to develop students' creativity.
