Factors Affecting the Inclusive and Sustainable Development of The Creative Economy in Semarang City

The Covid-19 pandemic has precipitated a shift in business transactions from offline to online, presenting opportunities for growth in Semarang City's creative economy sectors such as Applications and Games, Music, Culinary, Fashion, and Crafts. Despite these opportunities, the development of the creative economy in Semarang City appears fragmented and lacks clear direction, compounded by challenges in accessing comprehensive development data. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the inclusive and sustainable development of Semarang City's creative economy. Utilizing primary data from direct surveys and Focus Group Discussions (FGD), alongside secondary data from Semarang City's regional government and the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), this research employs the Partial Least Squares (PLS) Analysis Method to analyze these factors. Findings reveal significant ongoing development across Semarang City's creative industries, with culinary (22.9%), music (20.8%), product design (7.08%), fashion (9.91%), and crafts (9.2%) emerging as key subsectors. The study identifies academician and government support as directly influencing the competitive advantage of Semarang City's creative economy, while private sector, community, and media involvement show indirect effects. The model proposes that a collaborative approach involving academicians, government, private sector, community, and media—a Penta Helix framework—is crucial for fostering further growth and mobilizing Semarang City's creative economy.

Stakeholders’ Participation in the Creative Economic Development of Cirebon City

This study aims to examine the participation level of stakeholders, identify the dominant stakeholders, and investigate the factors inhibiting stakeholders’ participation in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of creative economic development in Cirebon City. “Creative City” is politically and legally stipulated as the city vision in the regional mid-term development plan 2018-2023 of Cirebon City. As the creative economy is centered around the production, exchanges, and consumption of goods and services from human creativity, Cirebon City is, therefore, a significant case study to investigate how the local government implements participatory processes in developing a creative city.Using qualitative methods, data were collected through a semi-guided interview of 190 respondents from five stakeholders: academics, businesses, communities, government institutions, and media organizations. It was followed by a focus group discussion of 12 key respondents selected purposively from the five stakeholders. With primary and secondary data sources, qualitative data was analyzed through the process of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification.This study concluded that stakeholders' participation in all stages of creative economic development in Cirebon was still minimal. The businesses in culinary subsectors as the most dominant stakeholders in the participation processes. The lack of socialization from the municipal government and the limited collaboration amongst the stakeholders were identified as the inhibiting factors of inclusive participation in creative city development. The government needs to accelerate creative economic development through multisectoral policies, including improvement of business knowledge and skills of the local business actors, goods and services’ quality upgrading and assurance, certification and legal assistance, as well as promotion and market expansion

Introduksi Teknik Seduh serta Miksologi Kopidi Desa Donowarih, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang

Donowarih Village is a village located in Karangploso District, Malang Regency which produces local specialty coffee and is located ina strategic position. The aim of this program was to introduce coffee brewing techniques and coffee mixology to representatives of the Donowarih Village community, in order to support creative economic development. The methods involved preparation, training, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), as well as technology introduction and technical supervision. The technology introduced was manual brewing techniques such as French press, V-60, Kalita wave, Vietnam drip,and mokapot. In coffee mixology, an introduction is given to the participants on topics such as ingredient selection, quality, hygiene, foodsafety, as well as techniques for mixing various ingredients. The training went smoothly, attended by 5 participants from Donowarih Village. The result showed an increase of participants' understanding on manual brewing techniques and coffee mixology in order to increase enjoyment, sensation, and consumer acceptance

Development of Creative Economy Based on Local Wisdom in the Era of Digital Transformation Through Inclusive Education and Village Community Empowerment in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta

This research aims to examine how inclusive education, community empowerment, and digital transformation contribute to the development of a creative economy based on local wisdom in Indonesia, with a focus on Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. Inclusive education, which is a primary concern in addressing social inclusion challenges, still shows low participation rates in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the presence of local communities in Indonesia, if supported by local governments and digital transformation, has the potential to open new opportunities in developing the creative economy with the utilization of digital technology to enhance reach and competitiveness. The research methodology employs a case study approach with qualitative methods, allowing for an in-depth understanding of the phenomena under investigation. Data were collected through library research and participant observations and then analyzed thematically. The research findings indicate that collaborative initiatives of local governments with stakeholders to develop locally-based tourism villages and the implementation of inclusive education in schools around these tourism villages have improved social inclusion and empowered the local economy. Active participation from various parties, such as local governments, communities, and social organizations, in managing and promoting tourism destinations has successfully increased collective income and community welfare. Through the adoption of digital technologies such as social media, online marketing, tour guide applications, and data management, tourism villages in Bantul can reach broader markets and enhance their competitiveness. As a result, not only is there an increase in economic welfare for local communities, but also an appreciation for local wisdom and traditional culture.

The Functions of Myth in Mangrove Ecotourism Development in Ibu Kota Nusantara, Indonesia

The mangrove area in Mentawir Village has the potential to be developed into an ecotourism site in Nusantara Capital City (Ibu Kota Nusantara or "IKN"), Indonesia. Apart from the mangrove conservation area, some myths add to the tourist attraction of IKN. Various myths continue to live and develop in the lives of the Paser indigenous people in Mentawir Village (Sepaku District, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia). The functionalization of the myth is expected to support mangrove ecotourism. So, how can existing myths affect the use of mangroves to support the development of mangrove ecotourism in IKN? Ethnographic data collection conducted through participatory observation and in-depth interviews can reveal the existence of myths that affect the use of mangroves in people's lives. The results showed that three myths developed in Mentawir Village: the myth of yellow mangroves (lemit mangroves/bakau lemit), the myth of the Mentawir River (Sungai Mentawir), and the mystery myth of the peace stone (misteri batu perdamaian). Using the Malinowski cultural functionalization approach, it can be seen that these myths can support the development of mangrove-based ecotourism and creative economy as IKN tourist attractions that can support community welfare.

Opportunities and Challenges of Digital Transformation for Creative Economy Development: Study Literature Review

Digital transformation has become a global trend that affects all aspects of human life. In Indonesia, digital transformation can accelerate economic growth, especially in the creative economy sector. One of them is efficiency in the use of technology, investment in digital infrastructure and increasing financial access. The aim of this research is to analyze the opportunities and challenges related to the policy of accelerating digital transformation in the development of the creative economy in Indonesia. The research found that there are various opportunities that can be exploited in developing the creative economy in Indonesia through accelerated digital transformation policies, challenges that must be overcome, such as low technological accessibility and inadequate infrastructure. Research shows that accelerated digital transformation policies can be a driver of creative economic growth in Indonesia which must be adapted to local conditions and accompanied by efforts to increase technological accessibility and adequate infrastructure. Local Wisdom Media-Based Learning Model: Basic Competencies for Creative Economy Development in Social Sciences Subjects (Social Sciences)

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in social studies learning in Class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Pahae Julu on Basic Competencies for Creative Economy Development. The aims of this research are 1) to find out the local wisdom-based learning model that has been developed and is valid for use in the social studies subject for Class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Pahae Julu, and 2) to find out the local wisdom-based learning model that can be developed and can be effective in improving student learning outcomes in the Social Sciences subject for Class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Pahae Julu. The research results show that the "IASUDE" learning model based on local wisdom received an average percentage of 90% validation from design experts, 90% from media experts, and 87.37% from material experts, which can be categorized as very appropriate. The results of the hypothesis test show that the research data have been declared normal and homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis test show that the value of tcount > ttable = -9.51> -1.67, so it can be concluded that tcount > ttable, which means that H1 is accepted, which reads: The IASUDE learning model developed is able to effectively improve the learning outcomes of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Pahae Julu.

The study of the factors of the creative industries functioning efficiency

Aim. To investigate the dependence of the effectiveness of the functioning of creative industries on the presence of creative network nodes in regional localization.Objectives. Collection of statistical information on the number and results of the work of organizations belonging to the complex of creative industries; determination of the fullness of the creative industries network in the localization of the regions of the Russian Federation (RF); correlation analysis.Methods. The authors used the methods of statistical data processing, comparative and correlation analysis, general scientific methods of comparison, generalization and concretization.Results. The conducted research confirmed the fact of high connectedness of organizations functioning within one creative network. A high correlation between the performance indicators of the organizations forming the creative product and the presence in the regional location of organizations that perform the functions of promotion and distribution of the creative product has been revealed.Conclusions. The obtained results confirm the high relevance of using the methodology of network approach in the study and development of creative industries. Formation of managerial decisions to stimulate the development of creative economy in the localization of regions should include complex decisions regarding all participants of the creative network.

PENYULUHAN EKONOMI KREATIF BAGI PERUBAHAN SOSIAL EKONOMI MASYARAKAT MUARA TAKUS BATAM

Abstract
 The aim of this research is to find out about creative economy counseling for socio-economic changes in the Muara Takus Batam community to map economic opportunities from the creative industry which is part of the creative economy as well as employment opportunities. This research is research in the form of field research or field research is a type of research. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data in this research comes from primary and secondary data. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the community at the PkM location. Data analysis in this research uses the Miles and Huberman model which suggests that there are three activities in qualitative research, namely reduction, data display and conclusion drawing or verification. The research results obtained in the implementation of community empowerment through the creative economy development program in Kampung Seraya where the stages of community empowerment outreach in developing the creative economy are not optimal in accordance with the goals to be achieved, problems in empowerment are not yet optimal, such as the lack of knowledge possessed by human resources. creative economy, quality production and innovation and can have good selling value in the marketing process. There is a lack of awareness among community members, especially those who manage the creative economy, to take part in programs implemented by the Batam city government in training and empowering the creative economy. The inhibiting factor in community empowerment efforts lies in the community itself because participation is still very lacking so that maximizing existing human resources is less than optimal.

The creative economy in the hand of local government: Fragmentation, overlapping meaning, and the absence of intermediary group

The creative economy does not only attract the attention of practitioners for regional economic development but also academics to contribute knowledge in identifying the success or failure of the creative economy (Boǧa & Topcu, 2020). It may produce unique and different findings. This research tried to identify problems in developing a creative economy at the local government level. It is to identify factors that make the creative economy less developed. Informants from local government representatives and entrepreneurs were interviewed to obtain an overview of the creative economy in Ogan Ilir Regency. The findings show three main factors inhibiting the creative economy, namely the fragmentation of creative economy management, the overlapping meaning of the creative economy, and the last is absence of an intermediary group, the creative group. These findings practically contributed knowledge about the constraints of the creative economy that must be immediately resolved by local governments and contribute to the literature on a set of creative economic development.

Community Empowerment Program Model In Creative Economy Development In Padang Pariaman Regency

Background. The development of the creative economy of a community is related to the model of program development patterns carried out by a region.Purpose. The objectives to be achieved in this study based on the formulation of the problem above are: 1) To find out the Community Empowerment Program Model in Padang Pariaman Regency (One Event Nagari Activity Study); 2) To find out the Development of Creative Economy in Padang Pariaman Regency (Study of Nagari One Event Activities).Method. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews with the community, traditional leaders, implementers of creative economic activities, youth and the public who take part in activities carried out in nagari..Results. The results of the study show that the program model for empowerment that is in accordance with current developments must start from the ideas and thoughts of the community according to the needs and capabilities of the community. The "mambasuik dari bumi" program model directs people to think creatively and innovatively to carry out activities that are able to run businesses according to their abilities and develop the community's economy

Local wisdom-based tourism and creative economy development strategies in Cisantana Village

The objective of this research is to perform an analysis aimed at identifying tourism development strategies for Cisantana village in the Cigugur district of Kuningan regency, as no tourism development model has been previously studied in this area. Semi-structured interviews with 100 respondents, including village authorities, company owners, tourist object managers, and Kuningan district office officials, were conducted throughout the research's six-month period from February to August 2023. It employs descriptive qualitative analysis. Literature, FGDs, interviews, and observation are used to acquire data. Using Nvivo 12 software, qualitative data analysis approaches were used. The findings indicated that the tourism and creative economy development model based on local wisdom in Cisantana village can be developed through strategies including a) prioritizing local tourism businesses, b) contributions from all parties, c) community empowerment, d) cooperation, collaboration, and synergy across sectors, e) strengthening partnerships so they don't become competitors, f) sustainability and continuity, g) infrastructure improvement, h) research studies and development applications. The benefits of tourist development and creative companies include great tourism potential, boosting local economies, enhancing local knowledge, and chances to build businesses and jobs for nearby areas. The marginalization of farmer groups, the decrease of cultural culture, the appearance of trash, waste, and pollution in tourist regions, as well as the loss of local knowledge, are the negative effects. The public sector, the government, and other relevant parties can benefit from this study. The research's overall goal is to improve public awareness of the value of fostering a creative economy and tourism based on local knowledge.

Development Model of Tourism Communication and Creative Economy Based on Local Culture in East Sumba

As something unique, local culture can be utilized in various fields, one of which is tourism. The development of the tourism industry is characterized by several things, for example there is an increase in community participation to advance the local tourism industry, and the use of the creative economy. This research itself was carried out by looking at the potential that Indonesia has in the tourism and creative economy sectors which still have great potential to be developed further while still supporting the preservation of Indonesia's local culture. The research was carried out at a location in East Sumba, because it has a natural attraction for tourism which is already worldwide, but its development so far has not been optimal. Apart from having natural potential for tourism development, Sumba also has local culture and creative economy products, such as woven fabrics. This research was conducted with the main aim of producing a model for the development of tourism and creative economy based on local culture. This research itself will focus on the use of local culture in the tourism sector and the creative economy in tourism communication studies. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and case study method. Data was obtained through FGD and interviews with resource persons. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that East Sumba has potential in terms of tourism development, the potential is in the form of natural resources, creative economic products, local culture and infrastructure suggestions. Developing this potential must receive support from the government in the form of development and policy making that favors local communities. Apart from that, tourism development also requires the development of human resources, which therefore requires collaboration between the government and local communities.

Achievement of Creative Economy Dimensions in Regional Development Indonesia in 2021

So far, measurement for knowing development of creative economy in Indonesia has only seen from GDP and number of workers. Even though there are many other factors used to determine development of creative economy that are not included in these two measurements. Therefore, this study aims to develop a measurement that can be used as a tool for assessing and analyzing the state of creative economy in 34 provinces in Indonesia and for comparison. Data used is secondary that sourced from BPS and several agencies. Creative Economy Index (CEI) refers to Global Innovation Index which is composed from seven dimensions, institution, human capital and research, infrastructure, market sophistication, business sophistication, knowledge and technology outputs, creative outputs. Analysis method used is factor analysis to validate dimensions of CEI based on their indicators. Results showed that Indonesia`s CEI is relatively low. Dimension with highest achievement is institution, while lowest achievement is market sophistication. When compared by region, CEI in Western Region is higher than Eastern Region. There are also similarities with HDI and ICT-DI.

Enhancing the Competitiveness of the Show Business Industry for Cultural Export as a Means of Creative Economy Development and Tourism Promotion in the Future New Normal Era: The Case of Thailand

The tourism industry is considered the greatest economic generator in Thailand. Nonetheless, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic thoroughly shifted its image of tourism stability and trustworthiness. The show business industry is an element of Thai tourism that attracts more than a million tourists nationwide. The show business industry not only attracts quality multinational tourists as visitors, but also indirectly establishes ‘soft power’ with audiences. This research aimed to (1) study the alternative future scenario of Thailand’s cultural show business industry with respect to cultural export and the creative economy; (2) determine the competitive potential of Thailand’s show business industry by comparing it with the global show business industry; (3) examine the market demands and behaviors within Thailand’s cultural show business industry for cultural export and the creative economy; and (4) present a strategy for elevating the competitive potential of the show business industry for cultural export, promoting a creative economy and fostering tourism in the post-pandemic ‘New Normal’ era. The results of this study found that the ‘Alternative Future Scenario’ of Thailand’s cultural performance industry with respect to cultural exports and the creative economy consists of three scenarios: (1) a mass show business tourism industry, (2) an exclusive show business tourism industry, and (3) a new mega show business tourism industry. It also revealed the competitive potential of the Thai show business industry. By comparing it with the international performing arts industry in terms of competitiveness, it was found that the show business industry in Thailand meets world-class standards. Given its clear, outstanding, and unique culture and traditions, Thailand is ready to serve as a major cultural exporter via cultural performance. Furthermore, the data analysis revealed a total of 10 significant strategies for enhancing the competitiveness of the show business industry in Thailand.

Creative Economic Development in the Management of Mrs. Wiwin Dodol to Increase Community Income in Caringin Village, Caringin District based on Sharia Economy

The purpose of this study was to determine how the management of dodol products by Mrs. Wiwin, a micro-business owner in Caringin Village, Caringin district, can contribute to the growth of the creative economy based on Islamic economic principles. Sharia economics, which is based on Islamic principles, encourages justice, ethics, and sustainability in the economy. This object is interesting to study in the context of the development of the local creative economy. This study uses qualitative research methods that involve in-depth interviews with Ibu Wiwin and members of the local community, participatory observation, and analysis of documents related to Islamic economics. The results showed that dodol products made by Ibu Wiwin have properties that are in accordance with Sharia economic principles such as halal, justice, and sustainability. This study also found that management based on local wisdom and environmental concerns is the main focus in the production process of dodol. The income of the people of Caringin village has increased since Ibu Wiwin implemented the concept of sharia economics in the management of dodol. Community involvement in the production and marketing of dodol has increased local economic participation, which helps to reduce economic disparities. This study emphasizes how important it is to combine the concept of creative economy with the principles of Islamic economics to produce innovative solutions for the sake of local economic growth. This study shows that other micro-business actors can use this method to increase the income and welfare of the community in various places.

In terms of research methodology, this study uses a qualitative approach to explore the phenomenon of cultural revitalization in the digital era and explore the impact of social media on socio-cultural dynamics. An in-depth analysis of various literatures and social media content was conducted to understand the context and complexity of the phenomenon. The results of the exploration show that social media not only plays a role in changing the way people interact, but also provides a platform for political participation, activism, and creative economic development. Its implications for socio-cultural dynamics are complex, requiring multidisciplinary thinking from the perspectives of sociology, anthropology, psychology, economics, and socio-cultural political science. In addition, digital revitalization must reflect the inclusiveness of technological access to ensure the sustainability of this digital revolution does not leave some communities behind. In conclusion, the exploration of the impact of social media in society is a deep and complex study, requiring a holistic understanding to direct digital cultural revitalization towards positive and sustainable development. PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA EKONOMI KREATIF DALAM PENINGKATAN PAD BERBASIS PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT LOKAL DI KABUPATEN KONAWE SELATAN

Community participation in tourism development is mainly related to forms of community participation, community motivation and the impacts of tourism development on local communities that need to be further optimized, with the basic premise that it is an effort to develop tourism by referring to the concept of community-based tourism development. The aim of this research is to describe the characteristics of creative economic tourism development that is based on active community participation so that it can increase Regional Original Income. This research uses a qualitative approach. The sampling technique was snowball sampling technique. The research population is the entire community in the South Konawe Regency area. Meanwhile, the sample taken as the main data source is people who actively carry out participation activities in the creative economy sector. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. Data collected from research results in the field were then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The research results show that there is a link between Regional Original Income (PAD) and creative economic tourism, namely the presence of a new economic form that can become a source of the community's economy. If this is developed more professionally, it will become a new source of PAD for the South Konawe Regency government. The development of creative economic tourism based on local community participation has not run optimally, where the development of creative economic tourism still receives very little attention from the local government, especially the role of the government as a facilitator to provide facilities that are needed by creative economic actors, including training for actors to improve quality and productivity, providing production equipment for business actors, and assistance in accessing capital.

DIFFICULTIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR CREATIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE SOCIETY 5.0 ERA

This research aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities for creative economic development in the era of society 5.0. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research method used to understand social phenomena in depth. This type of research is library research, which researchers carry out by collecting, studying, and analyzing references or sources. obtained in writing or written form, such as books, journals, articles, documents, and other sources of information that are significant to the topic or title being researched. The research results show that development economy creativity in Indonesia in the Society 5.0 era reflects a significant transformation in the methods used to create, produce, and promote products and services. Technology has become the primary driver of growth in the creative economy, as well as temporary creativity, local culture, and collaboration. Temporary, there is a challenge. Supporting the government and initiatives by private companies has helped push the development economy creatively in Indonesia. Taking lessons from the success period, then utilizing the opportunity period In the future, Indonesia can do it. Continue to develop as a key player in the global creative economy in the Society 5.0 era.
