Analysis of the Current Situation of Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation and Suggestions for Countermeasures

Taking Huizhou City as an example, this study discusses in depth the status quo, existing problems and improvement countermeasures of scientific and technological achievements transformation. This study adopts the literature research method and comparative analysis method, combines the official data and literature released by Huizhou Municipal Government, based on the importance of transformation of scientific and technological achievements to the high-quality development of the economy, analyses the role of transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Huizhou City on the enhancement of the economic development and the regional innovation capacity, identifies and solves the key problems in the process of transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and puts forward optimization countermeasures. The results of the study show that although Huizhou City has made progress in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, there are still problems such as insufficient long-term cooperation mechanisms and low levels of cooperation. The conclusion points out that Huizhou needs to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism, upgrade the level of cooperation, strengthen the participation of local universities and research institutes, and improve the service system for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in order to promote the effective transformation and industrialisation of scientific and technological achievements.

PAYOFF-BASED PROBABILISTIC INTERACTION MODEL ON THE EVOLUTION OF COOPERATION IN SPATIAL PUBLIC GOODS GAME

In the spatial public goods game (SPGG), punishment effectively promotes cooperation but often reduces the collective benefits of cooperators and punishers. In order to increase revenue, we propose a probabilistic interaction domain model considering both strategy type and payoff level. In this model, players are divided into two types, successful players with payoffs higher than the payoff threshold and failed players with payoffs lower than the payoff threshold. A successful player is less likely to change the interaction range than a failed player. Through extensive simulations, it is shown to verify that a higher payoff threshold leads to a more pronounced promotion effect on cooperation and corresponds to a higher cooperation return. Moreover, introducing dynamic interaction domain can rapidly remove defectors from the vicinity of cooperative players on regular lattices. Reducing the payoff gap between punishers and cooperators helps mitigate the system’s second-order free-riding problem. Additionally, through analysis of the critical parameters, it is revised that incorporating diversity in interaction structures substantively enhances cooperation level.

An adaptive exploration mechanism for Q-learning in spatial public goods games

The Q-learning algorithm has been widely applied to investigate the emergence of cooperation in social dilemmas. Despite ϵ -greedy being the most common exploration strategy in Q-learning, mechanisms for adjusting exploration as the game environment changes have not been thoroughly researched. To stay close to reality, this paper proposes an environment-adaptive exploration-based Q-Learning algorithm. We applied the registration concept from image processing to characterize agents’ sensitivity to changes in their surrounding environment to obtain local stimulation. Additionally, we calculated the advantage differences between the agent and the global environment to acquire global stimulation. Simulation results on the public goods game show that the level of cooperation increases and the fraction of exploration consequently decreases when the agents focus more on the local environment. However, the impact of the basic exploration rate on the level of cooperation is not uniform: when the enhancement factor is low, an increase in the exploration rate promotes cooperation, while when the enhancement factor is high, increasing the exploration rate reduces the level of cooperation. The basic exploration rate directly affects the fraction of exploration. Therefore, increasing the basic exploration rate can stably increase the fraction of exploration of the agents. Similarly, the effect of the memory strength parameter λ on the level of cooperation is positively correlated, and increasing the value of λ increases the level of cooperation across the board. These evolutionary dynamics could enrich the understanding of cooperation in complex systems.

Absolute versus Relative Poverty and Wealth: Cooperation in the Presence of Between-Group Inequality

Abstract While inequality in resource endowments has been shown to affect cooperation levels in groups, much of this evidence comes from studies of within-group inequality. In an online public goods experiment, we instead examine the effects of payoff-irrelevant inequality in resources between groups on cooperation within equal groups, i.e. the effect of mere exposure to inequality. When all groups are poor or rich, their contribution behaviour is very similar. Relative inequality, when poor and rich groups coexist, leads to lower contributions in rich groups. We find suggestive evidence that this may be related to stereotypes about the rich contributing less than the poor.

Characterization and kinetics of whey protein isolate amyloid fibril aggregates under moderate electric fields

Food proteins solutions enable the controlled flow of electrical current when subjected to a Moderate electric field (MEF). This application results in internal heat generation, known as ohmic heating, accompanied by electrochemical reactions. These effects play a significant role in influencing the formation of protein amyloid fibril aggregates (AFA), which have broad applications in food and biomedical fields, ranging from improving food texture to biomedical applications such as drug delivery and disease treatment. This study focused on investigating the formation of β-Lactoglobulin (β-lg) AFA under MEF conditions using WPI as protein source and various characterization techniques (e.g., Thioflavin T fluorescence, circular dichroism, and electron microscopy). The results indicated that MEF prolonged the lag phase of AFA formation. Furthermore, nucleation and fibril growth showed higher activation coefficients and cooperativity level (n > 2) compared to conventional heating method. MEF treatment resulted in unique fibril clustering and the presence of unexpected higher-order AFA networks confirmed by electron microscopy. These findings highlight the significant role of MEF in influencing the aggregation kinetics of β-lg AFA. Exploring further into the electrochemical and thermal effects during protein aggregation processes holds the key to unlocking deeper insights fibril formation process.

Metadisciplinary competencies and assessment of their maturity in the organisation of the educational process at teacher training colleges

Introduction. The labour market-driven changes in educational requirements, the development of information technologies and transformation of social relations require students’ new subject-specific and metadisciplinary competencies which should be formed at all levels of education. The aim of the study is to substantiate the role of metadisciplinary competencies and assessment of their maturity in the organisation of the educational process in teacher training colleges. Materials and methods. The study involved 1,742 students of teacher training colleges of the Chechen Republic, Republic of Ingushetia, Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, Republic of Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and Karachay-Cherkess Republic (Russian Federation). Methods: source analysis, author’s questionnaire for diagnosing metadisciplinary competencies in students of pedagogical colleges, methodology of assessing communication and organisational aptitudes COA-1 (V.A. Sinyavsky, B.A. Fedorishin). Results. The monitoring of the maturity level in metadisciplinary competencies revealed the deficiency in students’ goal-setting, information search abilities, cooperation and self-assessment. The following maturity level of metadisciplinary competencies in students of teacher training colleges was revealed: the majority of learners showed a goal-setting level (67.4%), information search and analysis ability (67.4%), cooperation level (68.1%), and self-assessment level (68.6%) – as specific of the average level. The elaborated model of educational process continuity covering schools, pedagogical colleges and teacher training colleges was based on the development of metadisciplinary competencies. Network interaction of pedagogical workshops was set up in secondary vocational schools of the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD) of the Russian Federation – as a mechanism for ensuring consistency and continuity of future teachers’ training in the system of secondary vocational and higher pedagogical education. Conclusion. The implementation of the research results into the practice of pedagogical colleges and universities allows to improve the quality of future teachers’ schooling. The graduates of educational institutions involved in the network interaction of pedagogical workshops will possess not only subject-specific knowledge but also metadisciplinary competencies necessary for successful professional activity.

Toward a Typology of Business Groups: A Qualitative Content Analysis

By facilitating wider communication networks and improving the performance of their affiliated businesses in complex environments, businesses can increase their competitiveness. Understanding the characteristics and diversity of business groups is necessary for developing and implementing them. In this study, we examined the question of how business groups can be classified. What criteria can be used to separate them? We conducted a qualitative analysis of the content of 48 scientific journals published between 1999 and 2020 and selected 215 articles based on purposive sampling during two stages of screening. As a result of the content analysis, three main themes were identified: "origins of group control and ownership", "groups' institutional origins", and "intergroup relations". Also, at the first subtheme level, six categories were identified: group control level, group ownership type, diversity of group relations, dependence and cooperation level, relationship structure, and institutional contexts. There are 12 subcategories included in the second-level subthemes. "origin of corporate governance", "type of group ownership", "type of institutional contexts", "intra-group diversification", "extra-group diversification", "internal cooperation", "formalization ratio", "length of relations", "external cooperation", "geographical area", "depth of cooperation", "group maturity level". Lastly, axis factors related to the diversity of business groups were used to develop a set of typologies.

SER project: analysis of the skills profile of students from three Portuguese professional schools

IntroductionThis research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the SER project, which focuses on autonomy and curricular flexibility. Additionally, it seeks to assess the profiles of students from three Portuguese professional schools in relation to their social and emotional skills, self-concept and personal development after project implementation.MethodsThe sample comprised of 381 students aged between 15 and 20 years. The study employed a quantitative methodology with data collected using the Social and Emotional Skills Questionnaire, the Self-Concept Scale, and the Positive Youth Development Scale.ResultsSchool 1 includes students who tend to exhibit high levels of Social Awareness and Cooperation. School 2, while not excelling in any particular competencies, shows above-average values across all assessed dimensions. Finally, students at School 3 demonstrate elevated levels in Interpersonal Relationships, Self-Esteem, Self-Management, Self-Concept, and Decision-Making.DiscussionIt was found that student profiles differ depending on the school they attend, and it was found that statistically significant differences occur between School 1 and School 2 in Decision-Making and between School 1 and School 3 in Interpersonal Relationships.

Activating the resources of families raising children with autism spectrum disorders

Introduction. Modern family resources in terms of supporting children with autism spectrum disorders are increasingly becoming a subject of discourse at the level of interdepartmental and intersectoral cooperation. At the same time, a large-scale investigation of parental expertise and inclusiveness as basic family resources is required. Metaprofessional qualities of parents’ personality, being a backbone characteristic, are considered as a component of their expertise and inclusiveness. The aim of the article is the analysis of deficiencies and potentialities of families raising children with autism spectrum disorders in terms of personal metaprofessional competence. Materials and methods. The study covered 160 families raising children with autism spectrum disorders and 164 assisting experts. The diagnostic material was grounded on the basic data obtained through the results of parents’ completion of a special document “Personal Card” and following the survey of families and specialists entrusted with upbringing, education, psychological and pedagogical support of children with autism spectrum disorders (the section for assessing the educative competencies group in the structure of the author’s questionnaires: “Self-assessment of parental inclusiveness” and “Expert assessment of inclusive potential”). The significance of the obtained results was evaluated through the analysis of contingency tables based on Pearson’s chi-squared test. Results. The quantitative/qualitative characterisation of resources of families raising children with autism spectrum disorders was derived, demonstrating parental expertise and inclusiveness. The relationship between the category of children and the level of education was established, which level is higher in parents bringing up children with autism spectrum disorders (χ2 = 14.655; p=0.006); in addition, significant differences in professional employment of parents bringing up children with autism spectrum disorders, mental retardation and visual impairment were established. Some differences in the extent of satisfaction with the quality and nature of assistance received by the parents were identified (χ2 = 8.433; p<0.05). The parents of children with autism spectrum disorders, unlike control groups, preferred private educational centres as the main sources of help, support and assistance. The survey established a pronounced deficit of active and effective participation of the second parent, grandparents and people from the immediate environment in the upbringing of a child (more than 26% of the respondents). The shortcomings in the mastery of special methods and techniques of interaction with a child with autism spectrum disorders were highlighted, as well as the lack of a unified, effective and sustainable system of stimulating and encouraging a child within the family. Conclusion. The obtained results are significant for further comprehensive elaboration and comprehension of the inclusive potential of families raising children with autism spectrum disorders. The most important guideline is the adoption of metaprofessional solutions designed to significantly complement the existing applied methods within the framework of realising the strategy for comprehensive support of persons with autism spectrum disorders, their parents and the immediate environment.

CPMP rescue of a neonate with severe molybdenum cofactor deficiency after serendipitous early diagnosis, and characterisation of a novel MOCS1 variant

We report the first, and so far, only index patient with neonatal onset MoCD type A who was diagnosed and treated early enough with cPMP to avoid severe brain injury and disability. The child presented with hypoglycemia at the age of 10 h and was diagnosed because of the incidental finding of severely decreased L-cystine in plasma. Due to a high level of awareness and excellent co-operation between metabolic laboratory and clinical services, cPMP substitution could be initiated before severe encephalopathy set in, and the child subsequently had a normal motor development. The child has been continued on daily substitution with cPMP until today (age 7 years) and has shown a satisfying long-term developmental outcome. Long-term follow-up, however, revealed significant communication difficulties and cognitive abilities in the range of mild to moderate learning disability. The severity of the metabolic disease was confirmed by the extent of biochemical abnormalities and further functional characterisation of the underlying genetic variants. This case provides further evidence that cPMP substitution does significantly alter the disease course when applied early enough. Postnatal treatment in this case was not sufficient to enable an entirely normal cognitive development, despite sustained complete normalization of the biochemical abnormalities.

Asymmetric iterated prisoner’s dilemma on weighted complex networks and evolutionary strategies analysis

Abstract In real-world scenarios, individuals often cooperate for mutual benefit. However, differences in wealth, reputation, and rationality can lead to varying outcomes for similar actions. Besides, in complex social networks, an individual’s choices are frequently influenced by their neighbors. To explore the evolution of strategies in realistic settings, we conduct repeated asymmetric iterated prisoner’s dilemma experiments on weighted networks using a Memory-one strategy framework and different strategy update rules. During the strategy evolution on the network, two key strategies emerge, and we name them as ‘self-bad, partner-worse’ and the ‘altruists’. Then, we perform separate evolutionary experiments on several strong strategies on corresponding networks and find that strategy ‘self-bad, partner-worse’ can still stand out from the dominant strategies. Finally, by introducing optimization mechanisms, we increase the cooperation levels among individuals within the group. The models utilize in these studies diverge from conventional approaches, scrutinizing the evolutionary process at a macroscopic scale. These findings broaden the scope of evolutionary games and furnish a foundation for addressing real-world challenges.

Language Dominance and Cultural Identity Predict Variation in Self-Reported Personality in English and Spanish Among Hispanic/Latino Bilingual Adults

Language is a fundamental aspect of human culture that influences cognitive and perceptual processes. Prior evidence demonstrates personality self-report can vary across multilingual persons’ language contexts. We assessed how cultural identification, language dominance, or both dynamically influence bilingual respondents’ self-conception, via self-reported personality, across English and Spanish contexts. During separate English and Spanish conditions, 133 Hispanic/Latino bilingual participants (70 female) completed the Big Five Inventory of personality. We used language use and acculturation surveys completed in both languages to calculate participants’ relative language dominance and identification with U.S.-American and Hispanic culture. Participants reported higher levels of agreeableness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism in English relative to Spanish. Language dominance predicted cross-language differences in personality report, with higher extraversion reported in participants’ dominant language. Within each language, greater endorsement of U.S.-American identity was associated with higher extraversion and conscientiousness and lower reported neuroticism. Agreeableness report in both languages was positively predicted by Hispanic identification. Our results clarify existing literature related to language and cultural effects on personality report among U.S. Hispanics/Latinos. These findings could inform assessments of self-relevant cognitions across languages among bilingual populations and hold relevance for health outcomes affected by cultural processes.

Institutions and cooperation: A meta-analysis of structural features in social dilemmas.

Cooperation underlies the ability of groups to realize collective benefits (e.g., creation of public goods). Yet, cooperation can be difficult to achieve when people face situations with conflicting interests between what is best for individuals versus the collective (i.e., social dilemmas). To address this challenge, groups can implement rules about structural changes in a situation. But what institutional rules can best facilitate cooperation? Theoretically, rules can be made to affect structural features of a social dilemma, such as the possible actions, outcomes, and people involved. We derived 13 preregistered hypotheses from existing work and collected 6 decades of empirical research to test how nine structural features influence cooperation within prisoner's dilemmas and public goods dilemmas. We do this by meta-analyzing mean levels of cooperation across studies (Study 1, k = 2,340, N = 229,528), and also examining how manipulations of these structural features in social dilemmas affect cooperation within studies (Study 2, k = 909). Results indicated that lower conflict of interests was associated with higher cooperation and that (a) the implementation of sanctions (i.e., reward and punishment of behaviors) and (b) allowing for communication most strongly enhanced cooperation. However, we found inconsistent support for the hypotheses that group size and matching design affect cooperation. Other structural features (e.g., symmetry of dilemmas, sequential decision making, payment) were not associated with cooperation. Integration processes in MERCOSUR: modern features and dynamics of development

The article examines the current state and prospects for the development of the MERCOSUR integration association – the common market of South American countries. The purpose of the analysis carried out in the article is to determine the role and place of Argentina in MERCOSUR. The subject of the study is the integration association in MERCOSUR, and the object is the modern specifics of integration processes within the framework of the association. The article analyzes the main macroeconomic indicators of the association and the structure of trade both within the bloc and with third countries. Based on a comprehensive and in-depth statistical analysis based on data from the international database of UNCTAD, the authors conclude that the prospects for further economic development of MERCOSUR are quite promising. The countries of the association are steadily increasing their economic potential, as well as the level of mutual cooperation in various fields – trade, investment, and digitalization. The Association is increasingly actively cooperating with third countries, largely due to Brazil's participation in the BRICS. Thus, the article shows that the integration process has advanced in qualitative aspects, and the prospects for its further development can be assessed as positive. At the same time the integration process in MERCOSUR is not free from problems and difficulties at both the country and continental and global levels, which limit and restrain its further deepening and development. The study period is 2012–2022. As a methodology, the article uses reliable statistical information and provides its comparative analysis using visual methods. A Randomized Controlled Trial of the Effects of Organizational Skills Training on Children With Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in China.

In addition to attention and hyperactivity problems, children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) have poorer organizational skills needed to manage time and materials. This study examines the improvement of organizational skills in children with ADHD by studying organizational skills training (OST). This was a prospective, randomized controlled trial. Between September 2023 and January 2024, 70 children with a diagnosis of ADHD and at least one domain of executive dysfunction (EF) were divided into two groups. The conventional group was treated with medication, biofeedback, and behavioral interventions based on the children's actual condition. The OST group received OST in addition to the conventional group. The mean age of the children was 8.33 ± 1.62 years. A total of 66 children completed the intervention and follow-up, 32 in the conventional group and 34 in the OST group. There were no differences between the two groups of children in terms of their preintervention scores on the BRIEF, SNAP-IV, or IVA-CPT. Postintervention scores on the behavioral scales decreased (p < .05), and IVA-CPT scores increased (p < .05) in both groups compared with those in the preintervention period. The OST group had a lower BRIEF (p = .019) and SNAP-IV Attention deficit subscale (p = .046) and a higher IVA-CPT Attention deficit Index (p = .032) than the conventional group after the intervention. The percentage of children with a normal BRIEF total score in the OST group was 79.41% (27/34) after the intervention, which was greater than the 37.50% (12/32) in the conventional group (p = .001). Compared with the OST group, children in the conventional group were at greater risk of having BRIEF scores that remained abnormal after the intervention. Analysis of covariance revealed a statistically significant effect of group (p = .008), preintervention BRIEF (p < .001), and participation score (p = .036) on postintervention BRIEF. OST can further improve organizational skills in daily life in children with ADHD while improving core symptoms of attention deficit in addition to conventional treatment. The effect of OST on BRIEF is also influenced by the child's BRIEF status at the baseline level and the level of cooperation during the intervention. Transferability of the competences acquired in the elite athlete career to the project manager role analysis

What personal competences of successful project managers are determined by their former career as an elite athlete? To answer the question, comprehensive research is carried out, implemented as part of the EEIG-EU/P-Kr/06.12/23 project. The primary aim is to establish conclusively which particular personality traits, identified and analysed using the Big Five Inventory-2 and supplemented by structured interviews, directly contribute to the success of former elite athletes transitioning into roles as effective project managers. We found that successful project managers who were also elite athletes possess personality traits that can be identified as positive determinants of success in either sport or professional careers. Among these personality traits, we can include a low level of neuroticism and a high level of conscientiousness, then extraversion and agreeableness. This paper contributes to a nuanced understanding of how the realms of sports and management intersect and overlap. The presented paper can serve as a basis for further research in the field of personality psychology and management studies.

Variations in Personality Traits Among Top Judo Referees from 2018 to 2022 Based on Gender Differences

The personality traits of top judo referees are crucial for fair decision-making in elite competitions, shaping the experience for athletes, coaches, and spectators. This study examines potential differences in personality traits among 63 referees from the World Judo Tour between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2022. Factors analyzed include completing the IJF Academy course Level 1, elite athlete status, number of officiated events, performance ratings, and participation in the Olympic or Paralympic Games. Our research shows that older referees tend to exhibit greater extraversion, whereas less experienced officials show lower levels of this trait. Referees with limited experience generally demonstrate higher agreeableness than their more experienced counterparts. Female referees and those with top performance ratings display greater conscientiousness than male referees. Completing the IJF Academy course is associated with lower neuroticism, while lower performance ratings are linked to higher neuroticism. Openness tends to decrease with increased officiating experience, with less experienced referees showing higher levels of this trait. In conclusion, competitive experience, training completion, and officiating tenure are associated with specific personality traits among judo referees, highlighting the importance of continuous training for effective officiating. The analysis of personality traits revealed no statistically significant differences between male and female referees in the dimensions measured by the BFI (Big Five Inventory). This indicates that the levels of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness were similar for both genders, with no significant variation in how these traits were expressed.

Popular culture both reflects and shapes the audiences’ beliefs. Content Analysis of blockbusting movies can teach us about public attitudes. This study examined underlying themes pertaining to personality types, as they are reflected in movies produced by the largest franchise in history, Marvel Cinematic Universe. Twenty-seven Marvel characters were assessed for their personality traits and received a rating for each of the big five personality aspects. To test which personality type was endorsed by the Marvel narratives, each character’s success was measured by examining the outcomes for that character. Successful outcomes were defined by levels of goal achievement in two categories, somatic goals and reproductive goals. The hypothesis was that being a commercial art-product of Western culture, Marvel storylines will follow neoliberal ideas, and award success to characters that align with the entrepreneurial personality type. That is, characters that exhibit high levels of openness, stability, extraversion, and conscientiousness, but not high levels of agreeableness. Results showed that the strongest predictor for success was openness to experience. It was followed by a second predictor, emotional stability. No correlation was found between extraversion or conscientiousness and success. Agreeableness was found to be moderately correlated to somatic success. The hypothesis was partially supported, indicating there might be some influence of neoliberal values on the Marvel character depiction.

Enlisting toddler cooperation through structure and autonomy support: The amplifying role of suboptimal relationship mutuality.

Regular repair of normative mother-toddler conflict is required for relational health; yet, we still need improved delineation of regulation strategies that can promote child cooperation. Contemporary conceptualizations of positive parenting propose that structure and autonomy support each facilitate children's optimal engagement; however, toddler studies rarely address their joint impact and conditional moderation. This observational study examined both dimensions in predicting cooperation among 106 U.S. 30-month-olds and their primarily European-American mothers during a demanding request situation. We also assessed mutuality, an indicator of mother-child relationship quality, from two situations with minimized power differentials to explore whether it moderated associations. Regression analyses confirmed the unique and additive impact of both maternal behavioral dimensions in predicting toddler cooperation and also an interaction effect such that the positive association between maternal autonomy support and toddlers' level of cooperation was accentuated depending on the dyads' mutuality. Results suggest that maternal structure and autonomy support may serve as effective approaches for enlisting or maintaining child cooperation during hierarchical negotiations, and that suboptimal relationship mutuality magnifies toddlers' responses to maternal levels of autonomy support. Findings are likely relevant to parenting programs that advance mother-child relational health during the transition from infancy to early childhood.

Impact of Virtual Reality Intervention on Anxiety and Level of Cooperation in Children and Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder during the Dental Examination.

Background: Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) frequently encounter increased levels of anxiety and display resistant behaviors during dental examinations, which negatively affects their oral care and maintenance. This study employed a cross-sectional design to evaluate the impact of virtual reality (VR) intervention on the anxiety and level of cooperation in children and adolescents with ASD during dental examinations. Methods: A total of 140 participants diagnosed with ASD, aged from 4- to 18-years-old, were selected from two specialized ASD management centers in Riyadh/Saudi Arabia. The participants were randomly allocated into either the control group or the VR group. Control group participants were subjected to a conventional dental examination, while the VR group utilized VR intervention to immerse themselves in a simulated natural and soothing environment. The Venham anxiety and behavior scale (VABS) was utilized to measure anxiety levels, while the Frankl behavior rating scale (FBRS) was employed to assess the level of cooperation. Data were analyzed using a Mann-Whitney U test with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: The baseline anxiety and level of cooperation between the groups were comparable (p > 0.05). During the dental examination, the VR group had significantly reduced anxiety scores (2.48 ± 1.76) compared to the control group (1.50 ± 1.74) (p < 0.001). Regarding the level of cooperation, the VR group exhibited significantly greater levels of cooperation (3.41 ± 0.96) than the control group (2.86 ± 1.03) (p = 0.002). Conclusions: These findings suggest that VR intervention is a successful technique for decreasing anxiety and enhancing cooperation among children with ASD during dental examination. Integrating VR technology in dental environments can potentially improve the dental experience and results for children diagnosed with ASD.
