Digitization and digital transformation in Vietnamese businesses in general and the accounting field in particular is an inevitable trend that Vietnamese businesses must follow in order to keep up with the development of the times, which is the era of technology 4.0. The approach to digitalization as well as digital transformation has been posing many challenges for Vietnamese businesses that need to be paid serious and proper attention, thereby helping the economic management in enterprises to be timely, fast and effective. For that reason, the digitization and digital transformation of accounting in Vietnam in the current context of global economic integration is necessary and urgent, meaningful both in terms of theoretical and practical perspectives, with high feasibility. How Can Place Brands Break Through the Culture and Gain Consumer Acceptance in the Host Country?

In the current context of global economic integration and cultural diversification, cultural exchanges between regions are becoming more frequent, and cross-cultural integration has also become a hot topic in academic circles. A large number of studies have shown that cross-cultural integration strategies can help multinational companies better walk into the host country market and gain the recognition of local consumers. However, most of the existing cross-cultural fusion is concentrated in the international management of enterprises, and there is less research on the development of cross-cultural fusion strategies for place brand internationalization. In view of this,, this paper explores the structural connotation of cross-cultural fusion strategies in place brand internationalization and its impact on consumer acceptance in host countries.

Impacts of Infrastructure on One Country’s Trade— An Analysis based on the “new Eurasian Continental Bridge Economic Corridor” along the “One Belt One Road”

In nowadays context of global economic integration, China has proposed the “One Belt One Road” Strategy in 2014, which fits into the new changes in global economy and finds us a new growth in economy development. This article has selected the panel data of 23 countries along the “new Eurasian Continental Bridge Economic Corridor” in 2002-2016 and analyzed the influences of one country’s economic infrastructure and social infrastructure upon its national trades using the fixed effect model. The research result shows that the construction of energy infrastructure may produce less obvious negative effects on one country’s national trade while the influences of the railway and aviation infrastructure will be varied because of the different natural endowments of the country. And one country’s trade will increase as construction of communication infrastructure develops. For social infrastructure, the effects upon one country’s trade are not obvious from education infrastructure construction, scientific research infrastructure construction, medical infrastructure construction and environmental infrastructure construction.

Thinking about Organized Crime Prevention

Crime fighting heroics associated with “get tough” approaches to traditional organized crime policing are not working. Aggressive enforcement measures aimed at detection, seizure, and confiscation of assets, and prosecution of offenders are not substantially hurting organized criminal enterprises or diminishing the overall threat of organized crime. This article discusses this lack of effectiveness and locates it within the context of global economic integration. It then explores selected facets of the interdependence between organized and traditional crime, and the potential of crime prevention to more effectively tackle organized crime. The article concludes with steps toward an effective and sustainable program of organized crime prevention.
