The study focusses at describing and determining the prospects for the implementation and operational routes of the meridional transformation of the transport and transit system (TTS) of Asian Russia (AR) in the context of external sanctions pressure and the development of trade and economic cooperation with friendly and neutral states. Goal. Development and implementation of a promising model for connecting the TTS of Russia and the countries of the Global South, primarily in the direction of North Asia – Central Asia – South/West Asia. Tasks. To analyze and determine the prospects for the implementation and current routes of the meridional transformation of the TTS of the Republic of Armenia in the context of external sanctions pressure and the development of trade and economic cooperation with friendly and neutral states. Methodology. The research uses the methods of evolutionary and institutional theory, the theory of industrial and technological balance of the economy and technical and economic structures, expert and analytical assessments, content analysis of materials from periodicals. Results. Based on the theory of transit economy developed by the author's team, modeling the creation and functioning of trade routes and their innovation and industrial belts (IIB), a promising model of the interaction of the TTS of Russia and the countries of the Global South, primarily in the direction of North Asia – Central Asia – South/West Asia, has been developed. Theoretical, methodological, scientific and practical support for the change in the configuration of global, macroregional and regional trade routes of the AR is given, the necessity is justified and proposals for the directions of meridional transformation of the transport and communication infrastructure of the AR are developed. The necessity of intensification of the meridional transformation of the TTS AR is substantiated. The analysis of current infrastructure projects of meridional transformation is given, the groundwork, significance and complexity of the implementation of global projects of latitudinal and meridional transformation of the TTS AR are considered. Conclusions. The most effective direction of the meridional transformation of the TTS AR is the construction of a new Arctic Ocean – Indian Ocean (AO – IO) transport corridor based on the Sixth Technological Order.

Semiosis of Artificial Intelligence and Social Development

Introduction. The article analyzes the semiotic aspects of the representation of artificial intelligence in the socio-cultural space and their influence on the nature of social development. The spread and penetration of technologies into social and political processes using artificial intelligence (AI) is accompanied by active discussions in the socio-political environment. Artificial intelligence is considered as one of the most important resources of social and political development, so the desire of states, politicians and public organizations to determine the semantic framework of its public perception is understandable.Methodology and sources. The theoretical foundations of the work were the classic works on semiotics by Ch. S. Pierce, Ch. W. Morris, as well as theoretical works on modern political semiotics (I.V. Fomin, M.V. Ilyin and others). To work with the empirical base, analyzes of documents (reports and materials from UNESCO, the European Commission, the Royal Society of London, Stanford University), public opinion polls (VTsIOM), discourse analysis, semantic and content analysis of materials from Russian and foreign media were used.Results and discussion. As a result of the study, we found that the main contradiction that accompanies the understanding of artificial intelligence, its essence and purpose at all levels of socio-political discourse is the polarization of public ideas about AI as a control tool and (or) a development tool. The contextual fields were also outlined, within which further development of the semiosis of artificial intelligence is possible.Conclusion. To understand the nature of the representation of technologies using AI in socio-political discourse and to manage this process, an interdisciplinary approach and an appeal to the scientific potential of the social sciences and the humanities, in particular, semiotics, are appropriate, which makes it possible to study the semiosis of technology at the semantic, syntactic and pragmatic levels. It also seems promising to turn to a comparative analysis of cultural and historical traditions and national-state models of social management that specifically integrate AI into social processes.

THE ISSUE OF NATIONALISM IN NATIONAL LITERATURE EDUCATION IN VIETNAM BEFORE 1945 AND THE LESSONS FOR THE AGE OF GLOBALIZATION

In the current globalization context, Viet Nam’s traditional cultural values have had changes. Stemming from that situation, through content analysis of materials on books, newspapers and magazines before 1945, the author studies the issue of national literature education in Viet Nam based on the aspects of language, documents and teaching content, initially draws some lessons from the education of national conciousness in the current international integration process.

Media Technologies of Attracting the Audience’s Attention on the Internet: Preserving Traditional Media’s Value Priorities

The modern sphere of media communications is characterized by significant Internet human involvement. Network (new) media – blogs, social networks, video platforms, aggregators and other online media, created exclusively for the network – have an advantage over traditional media, forced to compete for the attention of users in an alien environment. The modern online media text consisting of verbal and nonverbal components is mostly focused on attracting the attention of the audience, influencing its feelings and receiving certain emotions. These purposes, especially in the environment of the new media, are often achieved by unscrupulous means, such as the presentation of material in a “yellow” tone, the abuse of emotional audio-video content, the publication of false information, etc., going against the traditional values of journalism. However, the preservation of the traditional axiological component is an extremely important issue for journalism. Regional print media find themselves in a more losing position due to limited resources. However, the potential of publications, especially located in Russian million-plus cities, is quite high. By developing their websites, they can become solid players in regional media markets, and at the same time preserve their axiological potential, continuing to be conductors of the traditions of the cultural code of society. The purpose of this study was to analyze the current place of traditional print media on the Internet with an emphasis on the axiological aspect. The article presents the results obtained by the method of comparative content analysis of materials posted on official websites of newspapers of Privolzhsky Federal District’s million-plus cities during the pandemic (March-May 2020) and in the same period of 2019. Changes of sites during the specified time periods are also analyzed. The novelty of this research is the field of research – till now, the content of websites of newspapers of million-plus cities in the context of using modern tools increasing their attracting for users has not been studied. The study displays increase in the number of tools traditionally used by digital media (such as attractive clickbate titles, audiovisual content and interactive methods of interaction with users) on newspapers’ websites during the pandemic. However, the frequency of the use of these tools is quite small, which allows us to conclude that the value humanitarian potential of publications is preserved even in digital format. The wider use of audience-attracting technologies is vital for print newspapers, as it guarantees them recognition and the possibility of surviving in the face of fierce competition in the Internet environment. But at the same time, it is important to pay attention to the preservation of value priorities. Editors are aware of this importance and do not change the nature of the content, maintaining the image and justifying the trust of readers. In the future, it seems significant to use the methods and means of new media listed in the study on traditional media sites, as well as to establish the dependence of the audience reaction to these actions.

Ресайклинг Игоря Стравинского в журнале «Советская музыка» периода 1933–1966 годов

Stravinsky’s reputation in the Stalin era was tenuous, but in the early 1960s there was a strong surge of interest connected with his visit to Moscow. This metamorphosis of opinions was prepared and formed, among other things, through the press, in particular – in the chief Soviet music journal “Sovetskaya muzyka” (“Muzykal'naya Akademiya” since 1992). This research work is based on receptive methodology; the content analysis of materials during the period of 1933- 1966 demonstrates how in the conditions of almost complete failure to examine his music the critics created the reputation for him of a “formalist” and a “traitor,” and also demonstrated the attempt to “Sovietize” his emergence during the “Khrushchev thaw”. During the Stalin period, Stravinsky’s name appears in the journal only episodically, when he is arguably viewed as a representative of “bourgeois art.” In the early 1960s he was again labelled a Russian composer, and the attempt is even made of appraisal of his music, which is so remote from the Soviet musical style. Although it was not possible to “Sovietize” Stravinsky, such extreme changes of the Soviet authorities’ attitude of him emphasize the uniqueness of his artistic personality.

DETERMINATION OF THE HIERARCHICAL STRUCTURE OF THE COMPETITIVE ACTIVITIES OF QUALIFIED AND HIGHLY QUALIFIED VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS USING FACTOR ANALYSIS METHODS

Introduction. Determining the hierarchical structure of competitive activity in volleyball using the methods of multidimensional mathematical analysis makes it possible to rationally construct structural formations of the annual macrocycle of training qualified volleyball players and increase the efficiency of competitive activity. The purpose of the study is to analyze the structure of competitive activity in volleyball using the methods of factor analysis and determine the hierarchy of its individual components. Research methods: analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literary sources and the Internet, pedagogical observations, content analysis of materials from complex scientific groups and official websites of professional volleyball clubs, the Volleyball Federation of Ukraine and the World Volleyball League, methods of mathematical statistics. The indicators of competitive activity of 45 athletes in 28 official matches were used. Results. Factor analysis methods were used to study the indicators of competitive activity of highly qualified and qualified volleyball players - participants in the official matches of the National Championship (10 games), the Cup of Ukraine in volleyball (8 games) and the World League in volleyball (10 games). The selection of players was carried out according to the procedure for determining the «TOP-15 Rating» of the best athletes in terms of leading technical and tactical actions. The affiliation of the constituent components of competitive activity to a specific group of factors, depending on the value of factor loads, was determined. Conclusions. The results of factor analysis indicate the presence of a certain hierarchy in the structure of competitive activity in volleyball and significant differences inherent in this structure in won and lost matches. The most hierarchically important for the general population of the structure of competitive activity and for won official matches are quantitative and qualitative indicators of receiving the ball from the serve, receiving the ball after attacking and deceiving blows; blocking; the number of points scored; attacking technical and tactical actions from the front and back lines and serving the ball. Regarding the hierarchical structure of competitive activity in official lost matches, the 1-3 groups of factors include indicators of attacking technical and tactical actions from the back line; receiving the ball from the serve, receiving the ball after attacking and deceiving blows; the number of points scored; blocking; errors and fouls. Quantitative and qualitative indicators of attacking technical and tactical actions from the front line and serving the ball, according to the results of factor analysis, are assigned to the last (4th) group of factors.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY OF PHARMACY ORGANIZATIONS

The pharmacy business is one of the most important, as well as socially significant and socially responsible in the modern economy. Currently, the pharmacy sector of the Russian pharmaceutical market is experiencing a high level of development of the competitive environment and the search for competitive advantages of pharmacy organizations. However, the problem of social responsibility of the subjects of the pharmaceutical market remained outside the sphere of scientific interests of domestic scientists.
 The aim of the study was to study social responsibility in the pharmacy business. The main method of collecting and analyzing information in the study was content analysis of materials from the official websites of Russian pharmacy chains. A practical argument for the choice of Internet resources as an empirical basis for the study was the desire to conduct a large-scale analysis of the features of the development of social responsibility of pharmacy chains with different economic opportunities.
 The article presents the main characteristics of national regulatory documents on SSR issues, presents the results of the analysis of public information posted on the official websites of the TOP 100 pharmacy chains in Russia.

РОЛЬ КРАСНОЯРСКОГО ОТДЕЛЕНИЯ АЗЕРБАЙДЖАНСКОЙ МОЛОДЕЖНОЙ ОРГАНИЗАЦИИ «АМОР» В СОХРАНЕНИИ АЗЕРБАЙДЖАНСКОЙ КУЛЬТУРЫ НА ТЕРРИТОРИИ КРАСНОЯРСКОГО КРАЯ

The article is devoted to the analysis of the activities of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Azerbaijani youth organization of Russia – “AMOR” and the role of this organization in the preservation of Azerbaijani culture on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Krai. The article examines the history and culture of the Azerbaijani ethnic group on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Krai, as well as the history of creation and the main goals of the organization “AMOR” and the Krasnoyarsk branch, in particular. As the main research methods, the method of “content analysis” and the method of “interview” were chosen to form an idea of the activities of the Krasnoyarsk branch of “AMOR”. During the research, the content (information posts, photos, video materials, etc.) of the organization’s official pages on social networks was studied, on the basis of which the main cultural and social practices carried out by the organization were identified, which contribute to the preservation and maintenance of the traditions of Azerbaijani culture. Furthermore, the article presents the results of interview with a member of “AMOR”, which confirm the results obtained in the course of content analysis of materials published on social networks. As a result, it turned out that the cultural events held by the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Azerbaijan Youth Organization of Russia contribute to the preservation of culture and the maintenance of the traditions of the Azerbaijani ethnic group in the Krasnoyarsk Krai. Moreover, this organization also performs important social functions, holding various public, charitable and educational events, as well as cooperating with representatives of local authorities and with national-cultural associations of the region, in order to maintain favorable relations between all ethnic groups living in the Krasnoyarsk Krai.

The 2021 Middle East agenda of U.S. media

The escalation of the Arab-Israeli conflict has been testing the Biden administration since May 2021, with exposing the current Middle East agenda of U.S. media and its impact on Biden’s and democrats’ reputation. Despite the fact that the press has a certain, if restricted, influence on politics, intuitively, journalists come up with understanding of public opinion on Biden. This article deals with the problem of the U.S. president’s publicity through the lens of the current media discourse, with author relying on the descriptive method, discourse analysis and content analysis of materials in American mainstream media such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall-Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, Politico, Newsweek and Time. In conclusion, the author assumes that – alongside with the problems of inflation, economic crisis and the pandemic – the coverage of the recent Arab-Israeli escalation in the U.S. press has an additional negative impact on Biden’s reputation and his odds of winning the 2024 future election.

Identifying Care-Related Needs of Family Caregivers of People With Dementia: Beyond the Stress Process Model

The psychosocial stress process model (Pearlin et al., 1990) remains a dominant theoretical framework characterizing the transactions between factors affecting outcomes of informal caregivers of people with dementia (PWD). Despite widespread agreement that the model provides an important framework for understanding caregiver experiences and predicting caregiver outcomes, it is not sufficient to clarify the needs of caregivers. Needs are conceptualized as the skills and resources that could be used to ameliorate the negative impacts of caregiving and promote quality of life (Gitlin & Hodgson, 2015). Determining caregiver needs requires appreciation of the complex background, contextual, and stress-related variables described in the stress process model and requires empirically- and theoretically-driven understanding of the diverse resources, materials, and skills that individuals require for global health and functioning. In this study, we conducted a content analysis of existing measures of dementia caregiver needs (N = 54), content analysis of materials related to evidence-based dementia caregiver interventions and government reports and documents (N = 28), and semi-structured in-depth interviews with current caregivers of PWD (N = 12) to identify the personal and care-related needs of family caregivers of PWD. We propose a framework of five inter-related need categories (Health-related needs, environmental needs, psychological needs, social needs, and needs related to the care and functioning of the PWD) that transact with the factors described in the stress process model, ultimately influencing functioning. In the future, we plan to test this model empirically with a nationally representative sample of caregivers.

Организационно-педагогические условия развития транспрофессиональных компетенций магистрантов-дизайнеров

. In recent years, the economy of both Russia and the whole world has been characterized by high dynamics of development. Digitalization, automation of production, the development of smart technologies lead to a significant reduction in jobs in organizations. New high-tech enterprises need a specialist capable of performing not only narrow professional functions. They need specialists who are able to go beyond the basic functions, ready for interprofessional interaction in the process of solving complex problems. Against this background, the problem of training transprofessionals becomes urgent for the sphere of vocational education. This article discusses the problem of an interdisciplinary, integrated approach to solving professional problems, associated with the need to develop meta-competencies among master students, formed on the basis of the theory of transprofessionalism in the appropriate organizational and pedagogical conditions. The purpose of the artivle is to substantiate the organizational and pedagogical conditions conducive to the development of transprofessional competencies in master students. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study was formed by the theory of professional development and transprofessionalism. The work used both theoretical (comparative analysis, analysis of scientific text and normative legal sources) and empirical research methods (included observation, content analysis of materials obtained as a result of a survey of the main participants in the educational process). Based on the data of the experimental search work, a complex of organizational and pedagogical conditions that contribute to the development of transprofessional competencies was identified and described: distance technologies, practice-oriented educational environment, multi-role activities of a teacher, reflexive technologies. The materials of the article can be useful for teachers participating in the implementation of educational master programs, as well as for the heads of educational organizations of higher education in the development of organizational and pedagogical decisions in the process of training masters-transprofessionals.

Evidence of nursing patterns of knowing communicated by the brazilian press before Florence Nightingale’s model

to identify evidence of nursing patterns of knowing disseminated by the Brazilian press before the implementation of Florence Nightingale's model in Brazil and categorize topics of journalistic articles according to Carper's and White's patterns of knowing. categorical content analysis of materials related to Florence Nightingale, published in Brazil between 1850 and 1919, collected at Hemeroteca Digital. Four analysts identified themes of journalistic article, performing classification in patterns of knowing. there was a predominance of evidence of the sociopolitical pattern followed by the empirical pattern. In the analyses per decade, ethical and aesthetic patterns showed predominance between 1860 and 1870, respectively. White's classification by nursing patterns of knowing was useful in understanding precursor themes of professional/disciplinary knowledge that spread in Brazil, linked to Nightingale's character, in addition to the repercussions of her actions and her expanded sociopolitical perspective.

My Gametes, My Right? The Politics of Involving Donors' Partners in Egg and Sperm Donation

Gamete donation offers a unique opportunity to compare men and women's relationships to reproductive decision-making, unlike other reproductive processes, which typically involve women's bodies much more asymmetrically. I address medical and reproductive decision-making by examining how a gamete donor's partner may be involved in the donation process. Some countries explicitly involve a donor's partner by legally requiring spousal consent for donation, but this is not the case for the U.S. In the absence of any formal regulation, what are the expectations for involving a donor's partner? Through a content analysis of materials from donation programs across the U.S., I examine how donation programs configure the partner's role. Overall, I find that there are quite different expectations for partner involvement in egg versus sperm donation. Such differences, I argue, both stem from and reinforce existing issues navigating boundaries between intimate relationships and women's medical and reproductive autonomy.

Making families: Organizational boundary work in US egg and sperm donation

Egg and sperm donation can create distinct issues for designating family boundaries. These issues come to the forefront as relations between donors, recipients, and donor-conceived children have been shifting from anonymous to more open arrangements in the US and other western countries. In this study, I address US organizational practices and family boundary construction. Fertility clinics, egg donation agencies, and sperm banks are central providers of US gamete donation services. Given the disruptive potential of gamete donation, how do they manage relationships between parties? Through a content analysis of materials from twenty fertility clinics, twenty egg donation agencies, and thirty-one sperm banks, I address three major strategies of organizational boundary work: 1) creating identity categories, 2) managing information, and 3) managing interaction. I ultimately argue that even as many organizations offer opportunities for connections between parties, they exercise social control over donation arrangements through bounded relationships.

The Present State of Research into Industrial Clusters and Districts. Content Analysis of Material Published in 1997–2006

The aim of this work is to help gain a better understanding of the research conducted on territorial agglomerations of firms at a multidisciplinary level. To this end, an analysis was performed of the contents of the most significant scientific literature on economics, management, planning and development, urban studies and geography published over the period 1997–2006. From the results, a database of 142 papers from 43 journals was then elaborated. An analysis of these works reveals the level of development of the main lines of research in this field and, consequently, makes it possible to detect the topics that require greater attention and that can be the object of future research for researchers and academics. The main conclusions include the growing number of studies conducted on the subject in recent years, as well as a greater predominance of empirical research over conceptual work, and the existence of a significant change in the topics or lines of research throughout the period under study.

An inquiry‐based approach to teacher professionalism: toward a trichotomous model of critical ethnography

Self‐directed professionalism, which manifests itself in the dual goals of classroom efficacy and teacher professional efficacy, could be best promoted via Critical Ethnography. This emancipatory praxis applied critical ethnography as viable pedagogical tools in self‐directed teacher professional development. Over a period of nine months at a university in Iran, the teacher, working collaboratively with 23 learners, assumed the role of critical ethnographer. Data were triangulated from different sources: classroom observation; critical content analysis of materials; and semi‐structured interviews. The analysis of in situ data suggested a local critical ethnography that is informed by EFL local exigencies and dialogical methods. This trichotomous model of critical ethnography consists of Self‐reflexivity, Multivocality and Transformative Praxis. Through narration and journal logs, participants gained awareness for their role in maintaining and reproducing the status quo (self‐reflexivity). Diverse and contradictory voices in giving solutions to confront dominant ideologies were encouraged through classroom group discussion (multivocality). Eventually, participants endeavoured to act as the agents of social changes via interrogating and resisting the status quo (transformative praxis).

A snapshot in time: Family policy and the United Nations International Year of the Family

Some of the special agendas and initiatives of the International Year of the Family (IYF), sponsored by the United Nations, are highlighted. After reviewing the history and structure of IYF, findings concerning salient areas and topics for nationally based policy and programs are presented. These findings are derived from a content analysis of materials assembled from 136 UN Member States, as well as analysis of other documents and discussions with the IYF Secretariat. The saliency of concerns is also presented by grouping countries according to their level of human suffering. Familycentric policy considerations are discussed, and implications are cited for universities, policy makers, and practitioners.
