Course Construction of Cloud Computing based on 0utcome Based Education

With the rapid development and application of cloud computing technology, cloud computing has become an important component of contemporary information technology. The demand for cloud computing talents in society is also increasingly urgent. However, the current cultivation of cloud computing talents in universities is still insufficient to meet this demand. In response to these issues, the concept of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is proposed to reform the course construction of the "Cloud Computing Technology" course. This paper systematically introduces the content arrangement of the theoretical part, the construction ideas and methods of the experimental sessions, and the course evaluation system in the "Cloud Computing Technology" course, and summarizes the teaching results.

Second Language Teaching in the Digital World: Why We Need Digital Technologies?

Technology and science are developing at an unprecedented pace nowadays, and digital technology in particular has largely improved the tools and ways available to investigate new pedagogical approaches. The paper demonstrates how the advent of contemporary information and communication technology has influenced second language teaching, resulting in a shift away from the conventional teacher-centered and text-bound classrooms into interactive and student-centered paradigms. Also, the large potential and unique advantages of digital technologies have been analyzed, compared with some difficulties teachers and students meet during second language learning process in traditional language classes. However, digital tools are not a panacea which also require careful design and consideration. Therefore, the paper also puts forward several practical ways to bring the largest efficacy of digital technology on second language learning.

The practice of protecting agricultural land in Jiangsu Province of China

The safeguarding of agricultural land is rooted in national land surveys and remote sensing data, which are enhanced by contemporary information technology. This framework facilitates the monitoring and regulation of unauthorized alterations in cultivated land usage. This paper aims to analyze land policies at the national, provincial, and local levels, investigate the cultivated land protection strategies implemented within the research region, where the policies have gained societal acceptance, and propose recommendations and countermeasures to enhance the development and utilization of land resources. The central issue of this study is to identify the challenges in achieving a balance between human activities and natural ecosystems. To address this issue, the research employs a combination of literature review, semi-structured interviews, text analysis, and content analysis, emphasizing the integration of empirical fieldwork and theoretical frameworks. Key areas of focus include: (a) the current state of the farmland protection system, (b) the legal foundations for local enforcement, (c) the systematic mechanisms for implementing arable land protection, and (d) the coordinated oversight system involving both the Party and government. Notably, the practice of cultivated land protection faces several challenges, primarily stemming from two factors. Firstly, there exists a disconnect between the economic interests of certain illegal land users and the objectives of land management, which hinders effective enforcement. Secondly, environmental repercussions arise from misinterpretations of land policy or non-compliant land development practices aimed at profit, which contradict the goals of ecological sustainability. The study examines two approaches to address the issue: the distribution and effective use of land resources, and the capacity for monitoring and early warning systems. Findings indicate that Dongtai City in Jiangsu Province has rigorously implemented all national land management policies, while also preserving the adaptability of local townships in practical applications, thereby ensuring the consistency of both the quality and quantity of arable land.

Research on Promoting the Spirit of Scientists among Normal University Students under the Background of New Liberal Arts—A Case Study of Educational Technology

The spirit of scientists is the precious spiritual wealth accumulated by scientific and technological workers in the long-term scientific practice, and it is an important driving force to promote national development and progress. Normal university students are the promising youth who forge ahead and also are the future educators, who are responsible for the inheritance and dissemination of knowledge and spiritual civilization. Only by cultivating the spirit of scientists can normal university students promote the spirit of scientists better, which is profit for the younger generation to cultivate patriotic feelings and strengthen patriotic belief. It is also profit for cultivating the innovative and practical consciousness and gathering strength of enriching the people and strengthening the country. Moreover, it is profit for stimulating the spirit of dedication and coordination of the students, gathering strength for realizing the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation. Only in this way can the spiritual connotation of scientists be sown more deeply and widely in people’s hearts. The new liberal arts initiates that colleges and universities should break barriers between disciplines, deepen interdisciplinary integration, and integrate into modern educational technology. Normal colleges and universities should strengthen science education, improve the scientific literacy of normal university students constantly, promote the spirit of scientists throughout the whole process of education. They can break barriers between disciplines in the context of new liberal arts, so that normal university students establish ideals and beliefs, strengthen their convictions, and promote the spirit of scientists better. Educational technology, as a normal major, is an emerging discipline that integrates contemporary educational science and information technology science. It contains both theory and technology and aims to improve learners’ information technology literacy and scientific literacy. Advanced information technology is not only an important factor to promote the further development of humanities and social sciences, but also an important tool of spreading the spirit of scientists. Similarly, the development of educational technology disciplines requires the support of the new liberal arts to avoid falling into the misunderstandings of technology-only theory and application-only theory. This paper takes educational technology, which is a typical interdisciplinary subject of arts and sciences, as an example to explore the path of integrating the spirit of scientists into normal university students’ spiritual blood under the background of new liberal arts.

Bibliographical foundations of information science: a review essay

PurposeThe narrow purpose of this article is to review de Fremery’s (2024) book about the bibliographic foundations of information science. The broader purpose is to consider the actual as well as the potential relevance of the field(s) of bibliography for information science besides the book under review.Design/methodology/approachThis review essay examines the arguments put forward by de Fremery (2024), introduces concepts and traditional lore from the study of bibliography and presents internal conflicts or paradigms in the field of bibliography. It relates this information to foundational issues in information science.FindingsDe Fremery’s basic ambition of basing information science in the field of bibliography is important, and so is the attempt to consider bibliography in relation to contemporary information technologies such as machine learning and data science. The book under review fails, however, to describe the relations between different positions in bibliography, such as enumerative, analytical, descriptive, critical and historical bibliography in relation to information science. It rather tends to make problematic claims, for example, that scientific experiments are based on bibliographical methods, and to describe the relation of bibliography to information science on the basis of such interpretations. Nonetheless, the book is a serious attempt to consider the field of bibliography and thereby support the focus on documents in information science.Originality/valueInformation science often suffers because of ambiguities in the concept of information. When information science is understood as the study of literature-based answering, much else falls into place. The field of bibliography is a core concept for this understanding and re-orientation of information science, for example, by establishing the core relation between bibliography, information searching and knowledge organization.

MECHANISM OF TAX CONSULTING IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE TAX COMPONENT OF ENTERPRISE ECONOMIC SECURITY

The article considers the mechanism of tax consultancy as an important element of the management of the tax component of the economic security of an enterprise, which is particularly relevant in the context of constant changes in tax legislation and growing requirements for transparency of financial statements. Tax consultancy is a complex process of providing companies with qualified assistance in the field of tax planning, optimisation of tax liabilities and management of tax risks. It is substantiated that tax consulting not only helps to reduce the tax burden, but also ensures compliance of the company's tax policy with the requirements of current legislation, which, in turn, is a guarantee of long-term stability and financial sustainability of the company. The article examines the structural elements of the tax liability management mechanism, which include tax planning, ensuring conditions for timely and correct calculation of tax liabilities, as well as organisational and control components. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the tax planning process as one of the key stages of tax consulting. It is determined that effective tax planning allows an enterprise to optimise the structure of income and expenses, thereby reducing the tax burden and ensuring the rational use of financial resources. This paper considers the methods of ensuring compliance with tax reporting requirements as an important factor in the process of tax consulting. The function of tax consultancy in the formulation and execution of strategies designed to mitigate tax risks and enhance the efficacy of enterprise financial management is established. The necessity of utilising contemporary information technologies in the domain of tax consulting is underscored, as this enables the enhancement of the precision and efficacy of managerial resolutions pertaining to taxation. It can be concluded that effective tax consulting plays a pivotal role in enhancing the economic resilience of an enterprise. It serves to fortify the enterprise against external and internal threats, including those posed by shifts in the tax environment and economic challenges.

A Guide to the Application of Modern Information Technology in Higher Vocational Colleges: A Case Study of China Chongqing Wanzhou Vocational Education Center

Background and Aims: With the development of information technology, flipped classrooms, micro-courses, MOOCs, and other educational means have been gradually applied to education and teaching, which not only changes the teaching methods of teachers but also promotes the transformation of teaching management means. This study aims to investigate and analyze the use of new ICT and provide suggestions for guiding the development and use of modern information technology in Chongqing Wanzhou Vocational Education Center. Methodology: Using random sampling, 90 respondents were selected from 30 students, teachers, and administrators of the Chongqing Vocational Education Center. Interviews were conducted according to the outline, and detailed interview answers were recorded with the consent of the respondents. After the interview, valid information was extracted for follow-up analysis. Results: It is found that there are some problems in the application of modern information technology in Chongqing Vocational Education Center. The use of modern information technology in schools is hampered by issues including passive teaching techniques, poorly designed curricula, and a lack of educational resources. These issues prevent talent development programs from being tailored to the needs of the job market and impede students' overall growth. These problems are further compounded by traditional teaching evaluation techniques, which impede the transition to a more objective and data-driven educational approach by lacking thorough student feedback. Conclusion: The Chongqing Vocational Education Center's use of contemporary information technology has exposed challenges like poor curriculum design, passive teaching approaches, and a lack of educational resources, which hinder talent development and impede students' overall development. Furthermore, by not offering comprehensive student feedback, traditional teaching evaluation methods exacerbate these issues and impede the shift to a more objective and data-driven educational paradigm.

Narrative review on the development and challenges of pipa education in China

As a traditional Chinese folk instrument with a history of 2,000 years, the pipa has been valued by the Chinese government and favored by the Chinese people for its unique sound and rich expressive power. However, the development lineage and current status of pipa education in China have rarely been clarified, especially the current status of pipa education. This study used narrative review techniques to organize and analyze the history and current status of pipa education. This paper reviews the history of pipa education in China, focusing on the current development of pipa education, including teaching institutions, representative figures, target students, and teaching models. The study revealed that contemporary Chinese pipa education has achieved remarkable accomplishments. China’s eleven conservatories serve as the primary institutions for imparting contemporary pipa education. Representative figures such as Lin Shicheng, Wang Fangdi, and Liu Dehai have made substantial contributions to the advancement of contemporary pipa education. However, pipa instruction is primarily targeted toward children and university students, with limited emphasis on elderly people and special children. Individual and group lessons in traditional pipa instruction possess their respective merits and drawbacks. Nonetheless, further exploration is warranted regarding integrated teaching models and the application of contemporary information technology in innovative teaching models to facilitate the advancement of modern pipa education.

Traceable Optical Physical Unclonable Functions Based on Germanium Vacancy in Diamonds.

Physical unclonable functions (PUFs) have emerged as an unprecedented solution for modern information security and anticounterfeiting by virtue of their inherent unclonable nature derived from distinctive, randomly generated physical patterns that defy replication. However, the creation of traceable optical PUF tags remains a formidable challenge. Here, we demonstrate a traceable PUF system whose unclonability arises from the random distribution of diamonds and the random intensity of the narrow emission from germanium vacancies (GeV) within the diamonds. Tamper-resistant PUF labels can be manufactured on diverse and intricate structural surfaces by blending diamond particles into polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and strategically depositing them onto the surface of objects. The resulting PUF codes exhibit essentially perfect uniformity, uniqueness, reproducibility, and substantial encoding capacity, making them applicable as a private key to fulfill the customization demands of circulating commodities. Through integration of a digitized "challenge-response" protocol, a traceable and highly secure PUF system can be established, which is seamlessly compatible with contemporary digital information technology. Thus, the GeV-PUF system holds significant promise for applications in data security and blockchain anticounterfeiting, providing robust and adaptive solutions to address the dynamic demands of these domains.

Technostress in Nuclear Medicine: A Qualitative Study of Causes, Mitigators, and Resolution Levels

BackgroundIn contemporary healthcare, information and communication technology enables specialized treatment and efficient information sharing. However, it also causes stress and frustration, so-called technostress, among healthcare staff. PurposeTo investigate the day-to-day occurrence of technostress, we ask the research question: What causes the stressful situations with technology, how are they mitigated, and to what extent are they resolved? MethodWe interviewed 15 healthcare providers in the department of nuclear medicine at a Danish hospital about their experiences with technology-induced stress in their daily work. ResultsThe interviewees described 185 stressful situations with technology, mostly technology indispensable to their work. The two most frequent causes of stressful situations are system performance (46%) and technology-related organizational procedures (18%). To mitigate the situations, the most frequent strategies are accommodating (51%), consulting others for help (18%), and repeating previous task steps (13%). The mitigation strategies indicate that the stressful situations involve adapting work practices to the technology to a much larger extent than succeeding in adapting the technology to the work. Regarding the level of resolution, as much as 66% of the stressful situations are merely solved for now, that is, the concrete situation is resolved but the underlying issue remains unsolved. The underlying issue is resolved in only 10% of the situations, thereby indicating that the vast majority of the stressful situations are likely to recur later. ConclusionThe staff at the studied hospital department repeatedly experience stressful situations with the technology they rely on in their work. This technostress is an extra stressor on top of those induced by the staff’s responsibility for providing quality patient treatment. At the individual level, technostress leads to frustration and possibly burnout; at the organizational level, it calls for preventive action.

Numerical simulation of time-dependent viscous fluid flow with upward and downward fluctuation of spinning disk

The parametric approach towards time-dependent viscous fluid flow across a gyrating disk with upward and downward fluctuation. The major goal of this research is to assess fluid flow under the influence of magnetic fields and heat propagation processes. Because they provide a thorough description of electromagnetic interactions. Maxwell's equations are at the heart of all contemporary information and communication technologies. The governing equations comprising Navier Stokes equation, energy, concentration, and Maxwell equations have been represented appropriately for this purpose. The governing equations are turned down to the system of non-linear ODEs through a resemblance framework. The obtained system of differential equations has been resolved via numerical procedure Parametric Continuation Method (PCM). For the scale reliability purpose, the outcomes are compared to another numerical Matlab scheme boundary value solver. Application of BIM+GIS Integration Technology in the Construction of Urban Intelligent Water Informatization

Urban intelligent water informatization is the process of managing and operating urban water systems with the use of contemporary information and communication technology in order to increase productivity, security, and sustainability. Establishing the appropriate infrastructure is the initial stage in building an intelligent water system so that management can choose wisely how to manage and operate the water system. Building information modeling (BIM) is a digital depiction of a building's or infrastructure's structural and functional details. In most metropolitan regions, a fast development phase is predicted to cause several water issues, including water resource shortages, floods, poor drainage, and water resource contamination. As a result, a practical approach is required for urban intelligent water information technology with the help of artificial intelligence techniques. Intelligent water systems may be built using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to increase the system's effectiveness, stability, and durability. By offering a potent tool for storing and analyzing geographical data connected to the water distribution system, a geographic information system (GIS) can play a crucial role in the development of urban intelligent water informatization using ArcGIS mapping Software. The Internet of Things (IoT) system is used to implement intelligent water informatization, hardware implementation using ESP32, and software development using MQTT Broker and Node-Red. As a result, we recommended utilizing BIM+GIS integration technology for building urban intelligent water informatization. The suggested system is evaluated using management efficiency, urban flood control, innovative Construction, intensive management, and computation cost. In this research, the main objective is to identify where there are water leaks broken pipes and early warning system and monitoring system for flash flood disasters in urban areas. The result findings show that the integration of BIM and GIS provides a comprehensive platform for managing complex water informatization infrastructure projects and maximizes efficiency and sustainability.

Redefining Orientalism Through “Squid Game”: Sentiment Analysis And Word Cloud R Studio

This article aims to redefine Edward Said's definition of orientalism in the era of contemporary communication and information technology through the comments column for the film Squid Game on the IMDB (internet movie database) website. This paper argues that the Orientalist attitude of a dominant English-speaking country such as the United States emerged as a consequence of its white superior hegemony. In the midst of this orientalist attitude, today's communication and information technology has become a discursive channel for the world community to conduct ongoing discussions on films by Asians. By using the text in the comment column for the film Squid Game on IMDB.com as a case example, this article provides a discussion regarding the need to rethink the conceptual definition of orientalism today. This paper uses a digital research methodology with analysis tools using R Studio with two types of analysis, namely word cloud and sentiment analysis. By utilizing the programming language functions available in R Studio, this paper mines text from the IMDB.com comments column for the film Squid Game. This article contains results obtained from digital research methods, namely the Squid Game comments column focuses on characters, plot, acting and story. Meanwhile, sentiment analysis shows the dominance of positive sentiment and some negative sentiment. Therefore, this article argues that the battle between negative and positive sentiments in the Squid Game comments column is a means of resetting the negative stigma towards Asian films and eroding the orientalist attitudes that the West oppresses towards "the East."

Info Technology and Mental Health: A Study of Jonathan Franzen's Purity in the Scope of Berardi’s Theory

In the contemporary era, information technology and mental health are complexly intertwined and the capitalist system plays a significant role in shaping this relationship. The current study argues that most mental diseases like depression, insomnia, schizophrenia, and other diseases of the contemporary era are occurring as a result of being exposed to a huge amount of information technologies. The main aim of this study is to explore and argue that these mental diseases are not a biological state but it comes as a reaction of the mind against the accumulation and acceleration of information in people's minds. The paper uses the observations and opinions of the Italian communist philosopher Franco Berardi to understand the significance of such figurations in Jonathan Franzen's Purity and it will reflect the idea that developing an understanding of how the capitalist system is blamed for these mental diseases by exposing people to an unlimited amount of information that the human mind is unable to access or deal with. Focusing on a depressed woman who is mentally exhausted as a result of the pressure of the new life and wants to change it, Purity uncovers the evils at the heart of our contemporary information technology society.

Innovative frontiers: Post-quantum perspectives in healthcare and medical imaging

The growth of computer power is crucial for the development of contemporary information technologies. Artificial intelligence is a powerful instrument for every aspect of contemporary science, the economy, and society as a whole. Further growth in computing potential opens new prospects for biomedicine and healthcare. The promising works on quantum computing make it possible to increase computing power exponentially. While conventional computing relies on the formula with 2n bits, the simplified vision of quantum computer power is 2N, where N is a number of logical qubits. With thousandfold or more improvements in computing performance, there will be realistic options for quick protein, genes and other organic molecules 3D fold discoveries, empowering pharmaceutics and biomedical research. Personalized blockchain-based healthcare will become a reality. Medical imaging and instant healthcare data analysis will significantly speed up diagnostics and treatment control. Biomedical digital twin usage will give useful tools to any healthcare practitioner, with options for intraoperative AR and VR micro-manipulations. Nanoscale intrabody bots will be instantly customized and AI-controlled. The smart environment will be enriched with multiple sensors and actuators, giving real control of the air, water, food, and physical health factors. All these possibilities are quickly achievable only in the case of realistic quantum computing options. Even with the ability to reach this stage, there will be questions for the stability of post-quantum society: privacy, ethical issues, and quantum computing control uncertainty. General solutions to these queries will give clues for post-quantum healthcare.

DIGITAL NATIVES AND MIGRANTS

Contemporary information technology requires the reformulation of school routines aimed at optimizing student, teacher, and institutional performance. Concurrently, it necessitates the development and alignment of pedagogical and curricular strategies shaped by Web 3.0 platforms, which enable collective synchronous and asynchronous virtual interactions and the use of cognitive tools such as generative artifi cial intelligences. Such a scenario is natural for the contemporary generation of students, known as digital natives, while it can hinder the relationships, interactions, curricula, and didactic pedagogical performance of the preceding generation of teachers, referred to as digital migrants. This study aims to investigate how technologies are being applied in educational institutions and what their pedagogical and curricular contributions are. Google Scholar, Digital Library, and University Periodicals were used as support for the literature review and theoretical construction of this study. Additionally, other databases, books, theses, and articles from online journals were also explored. Finally, this article underscores the urgency for educational actors to master the new technologies that are emerging in educational spaces, considering that various activities previously carried out in non-virtual modalities are now taking place in digital environments, the native habitat of future generations.

Nanolearning approach in developing professional competencies of modern students: Impact on self‐regulation development

AbstractNanolearning represents an educational methodology rooted in personalisation and the individualisation of the educational process, leveraging contemporary information technologies. Nanolearning, closely intertwined with self‐regulated learning, entails an individual's capacity to plan, monitor and regulate their learning process, objectives and strategies. In nanolearning, information is presented in small, discrete fragments, necessitating students to autonomously manage their time and educational progress, thereby determining when and what to study. Nanolearning and TikTok can synergistically intersect, yielding innovative pedagogical approaches. TikTok, a popular social platform for sharing concise video clips, introduces a novel mode of information dissemination and interpersonal communication.BackgroundThe introduction of a flexible education system that meets the individual requirements of a student is a burning need of our time. The study hypothesis is as follows: Will nanolearning be able to change the self‐regulatory competence of the experiment participants and how exactly?ObjectivesThe current study aimed to determine nanolearning effectiveness in the context of students' self‐regulation development.MethodsThis was done using a self‐regulation questionnaire addressed to a sample of 120 students of the Kokshetau University named after A. Myrzakhmetov. As a nanolearning platform, this study benefited from the TikTok app.ResultsThe results showed that the experimental group achieved significantly higher scores than the control group on goal setting, environmental structuring, task strategies, time management, help‐seeking and self‐evaluation.ConclusionsThe results obtained can help develop a set of activities for the optimisation of the educational process to improve student professional competence.

Incentive Mechanism of Online Leaning Based on Blockchain

Incentive mechanism plays an important role in online education. In order to better play the role of the incentive mechanism, it must rely on contemporary information technology, such as blockchain technology, big data technology and so on. In this paper an incentive mechanism based on blockchain technology is proposed with which can establish a good trust relationship between multiple learning resource nodes and improve data security during the process of online education. A structure of online learning resource chain is proposed in this paper also. And a dynamic optimization framework of learning resource chain by analyzing a series of problems faced in the process of online education is formed. The private chain of learning resource is constructed on the basis of the design of incentive smart contract. The learners and the builders of learning resources can obtain the dynamic rewards by performing a smart method of contract. The experimental results show that the incentive method based on blockchain can well mobilize participants’ enthusiasm for resource construction and dynamic improvement of resource quality, and effectively solve a series of problems in the learning process.
