Analisis Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Pada Mata Pelajaran PAI Perspektif Teori Belajar Konstruktivisme dan Humanisme di SMA N 2 Purwokerto

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMA N 2 Purwokerto, from the perspective of constructivism and humanism learning theories. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through classroom observation, interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The results showed that the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in PAI subjects at SMA N 2 Purwokerto is still in its early stages. Teachers began to apply several constructivistic and humanistic learning principles, such as project-based learning, problem-based learning, and cooperative learning. However, there are still some obstacles faced, such as the teacher's lack of understanding of constructivistic and humanistic theories, limited learning resources, and lack of support from the school. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in PAI subjects at SMA N 2 Purwokerto still needs to be strengthened. Teachers need to improve their understanding of constructivistic and humanistic theories, and get better support from the school to implement learner-centered learning.

From the Lens of Constructivism: The Culture & History of Johor in International Relations via the Johor Heritage Foundation

Why are certain state actors actively promoting their cultural and historical heritage to others?. While many scholars in the field of international relations (IR) often stress the importance of national interest in understanding a state or country's behaviour, IR is a multifaceted field that cannot be fully comprehended from a single perspective. Therefore, this article explores the significance of culture and history within international relations by examining key concepts of Constructivism, an IR theory, with Johor, a prominent southern state of Malaysia, as a case study. The primary objective of this article is to explore the Constructivism perspective on the role of Johor's culture and history in its international relations. Additionally, the article comprehensively discusses the role of the Johor Heritage Foundation (JHF), a statutory body under the state government, in preserving the culture and history of this state. For findings, Johor through JHF is a significant state which highly emphasized on the importance of culture and history within its rapid development. The qualitative methodology and relevant themes were analysed and categorised to illustrate the different components of the role of Johor's culture and history within international relations from the perspective of Constructivism.

This paper seeks to explore the tabi’ tabi’in interpretation methodology, namely by reading it from a constructivism perspective with an analysis of intertextuality data, the writer can identify the existence of Ibn Abi Hatim interpretation which only uses the interpretation of bi al-ma’tsur as a source of interpretation, which is based on an explanation of the Prophet’s hadith, the opinions of friends, tabi’in, and the stories of israiliyyat. While the effort in explaining al-Qur’an, the method carried by Ibn Abi Hatim is the method of ijmali, which is interpreting verses of the Qur'an in a concise, concise, and not lengthy language. also used the muqaran method by quoting and comparing the opinions of friends and the tabi’in. For his interpretation style, the interpretation of Ibn Abi Hatim did not reach a certain scientific discipline style, only limited to the interpretation of geographical and traditionalist locations, namely interpreting the al-Qur’an by tending to use narrations from the hadiths of the Prophet, friends, and tabi’in.

The Influence of Artificial Intelligence Technology on College Students' Learning Effectiveness from the Perspective of Constructivism — Taking ChatGPT as an Example

Based on the constructivism theory, this paper takes ChatGPT as an example to discuss how artificial intelligence technology affects the learning effectiveness of college students. Learning in constructivist classrooms is regarded as a proactive process, and the rise of artificial intelligence technology, especially ChatGPT, brings new possibilities to the field of education. In such a context, this paper analyzes the learning effect of students before and after using ChatGPT, paying special attention to a series of deep thinking caused by using ChatGPT. In this paper, 135 students from three different universities in Guangdong Province and Shaanxi Province are selected as the survey participants to investigate their perception toward effective learning before and after using ChatGPT from different angles. The survey results show that using ChatGPT can have a positive impact on their learning efficiency. Finally, this paper discusses the attitudes of different schools to students' use of ChatGPT and puts forward some suggestions to better integrate artificial intelligence technologies such as ChatGPT into higher education. Through in-depth research on the influence of ChatGPT on the learning effectiveness of college students under the constructivism theory, this paper aims to provide high-quality reference for college educators and contribute to the application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of education.

Implementation of the competency based curriculum in Zimbabwean primary schools: A case of a primary school in Chitungwiza

The purpose of the study was to explore the challenges faced in the implementation of the competence-based curriculum in Chitungwiza district primary schools. One school was used to conduct the study. Purposive sampling was utilised to select 23 research respondents, namely: 14 teachers, 6 parents, and 3 administrators. The study was guided by the constructivism perspective. Case study design was exploited. The questionnaire, interview guide and focus group discussion were used to collect data. Qualitative data asked for were analysed using the thematic data analysis methodology. The study exposed that the successful implementation of the competence-based curriculum (CBC) was hindered by lack of both material and human resources. Low teacher morale was cited as a recurrent barrier to effective curriculum implementation. It was established that most teachers lacked the basal CBC implementation skills, competencies, and knowledge, as most of them were trained well before the introduction of the new curriculum. Overarching recommendations were that proper planning should be done before the implementation of any transformative curriculum programme. The central government and its partners should avail the requisite financial, material, infrastructural and human resources prior to the envisaged curriculum implementation. Teachers, on one hand, should be positively incentivised as paramount CBC actors. Their seamless morale boost should never be overemphasised if desired curricula goals are to be achieved.

Becoming a doctor: using social constructivism and situated learning to understand the clinical clerkship experiences of undergraduate medical students

BackgroundDespite the emphasis on the uniqueness and educational importance of clinical clerkships in medical education, there is a lack of deep understanding of their educational process and outcomes. Especially due to an inherent trait of clinical clerkships which requires participation in the workplace outside the classroom, it is difficult to fully comprehend their educational potential using traditional learning perspectives such as imbibing outside knowledge. Accordingly, this study aims to explore the experiences of a rotation-based clerkship of medical school students from the perspective of social constructivism of learning, which can empirically examine what and how medical students learn during clinical clerkship in South Korea. By providing an insight into the workings of the clerkship process, this study contributes to a better understanding of how a learning-friendly environment can be cultivated at clinical clerkships.MethodsThe study utilized a basic qualitative study to understand what and how medical students learn during their clinical clerkships. Semi-structured, in-depth individual interviews were conducted with eight sixth-graders who had experienced a two-year clerkship at Ajou University Medical School. Data were analyzed based on Lave and Wenger’s situated learning theory and Wenger’s social theory in learning.ResultsWe found that the medical students had developed different aspects of their professional identities such as values, functionality, career decisions, sociality, and situating during their clinical clerkships. Further, professional identity was formed through a combination of participation and reification—the processes involved in the negotiation of meaning. This combination was facilitated by the students’ first experience and relationships with professors, classmates, and patients. Finally, non-learning occurred in the context of over-participation (learning anxiety and alienation) or over-reification (evaluation and e-portfolio).ConclusionsThis study revealed five sub-professional identities and their formation process from the learners’ perspective, thereby uncovering the unique learning characteristics and advantages of rotated-based clerkship and contributing to a further understanding of how gradual improvements can be made to the traditional clerkship education of medical students.

Regionalism is a movement that emerged after World War II. It involves countries that are geographically close and interdependent, collaborating with the help of governments and NGOs to achieve mutual benefits in a particular area of shared interest. Such regional clusters have evolved due to geographical proximity, economic interdependence, security issues, social and cultural background, and more. The end of the Cold War led to the rise of new regionalism shaped by factors such as globalization, the emergence of new players, shifts in global power dynamics, increased interdependence, alterations in security paradigms, the advent of multipolar, and various other influences. This shifting pattern has had a major impact on world politics and power dynamics. Traditional notions of security are evolving to encompass human security concerns, while economic collaboration and identity-based regionalism are gaining prominence. Asia's growing economic clout, new regional players' arrival, and smaller states' growing role are reshaping the global power landscape. Asymmetric positions and chequered history hinder the functioning of regionalism. In this context, the article seeks to analyze the changing dynamics of regionalism, the primary drivers of this shift, and its implications for global power dynamics. The article is presented from the perspectives of neo-realism, neo-liberalism, and constructivism in a descriptive, analytical, and exploratory format, where the necessary information is obtained from secondary qualitative data.

Independent Curriculum Analysis from Constructivism and Ki Hajar Dewantara Philosophy Perspective

This research discusses the central role of education in reform in Indonesia through the Independent Curriculum, with a constructivist philosophical approach and Ki Hajar Dewantara's perspective. This literature research aims to explain the Independent Curriculum from the perspective of constructivism and the philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara. This research aims to understand the extent to which the Merdeka Curriculum implements a constructivist approach and to determine the implementation of character education values and the formation of national identity in the Merdeka Curriculum by the views of Ki Hajar Dewantara. The results of this research show that the Merdeka Curriculum perspective from constructivism and Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy shows the importance of active student participation, social interaction, learning contextuality, character values, national identity, local wisdom, freedom and student independence. Holistic evaluation is needed to ensure implementation that is consistent with the philosophical vision, thereby creating individuals with character, national identity and independence.

Building STAIS Student Character Through The Program (Kdbm) In The Philosophical Perspective Of Constructivism

KDBM activities are very strategic activities as a means of learning for students, because in the program they combine theory and action. Departing from a fundamental question, how the KDBM program can build the character of STAIS students in the perspective of constructivist philosophy. This research is a qualitative research, the type of field research is the method used, observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that KDBM activities in the perspective of constructivism can foster cognitive awareness, spiritual awareness, and social sensitivity or social piety. Then KDBM activities have also formed four feelings in the personality of the students, namely: First, heart training, second, mental exercise, Third, thinking, fourth, sports. The series of three awareness and four senses is a concrete result of the KDBM activities in the perspective of constructivism.

Abstract: University sports culture is an important component of the national cultural system. It is the crystallization of material and spiritual civilization in university sports, as well as the precipitation of sports culture and sports philosophy. However, in the new era, university sports culture presents problems, such as valuing intelligence over physical fitness, lacking in sports culture concepts, and separating spirit and material. In university education, more attention is often paid to academic and intellectual development, while sports and physical exercise are lightly regarded. In fact, university sports culture often focuses only on physical education and sports events, while ignoring the development of other aspects, resulting in an imbalance in the whole sports culture system. The insufficient investment of the school in sports facilities and equipment leads to a lack of necessary material support for students to engage in physical exercise. At the same time, the students’ understanding and pursuit of sports often remain on the surface, lacking in the pursuit of the spirit of the deep-seated. In review of university sports culture, dialectical materialism can be used to analyze the connection among the social background, development trend and mutual influence of sports culture. The perspective of social constructivism can also be used to explore the social construction process of sports culture, all participants’ roles and interactions, and the significance and influence of sports culture in society. Therefore, in order to better solve the problems existing in university sports culture, promote the rapid development of university sports culture in the new era, enhance the confidence of campus sports culture and build a strong sports culture, this article used dialectical materialism method to analyze the current situation of university sports. It explained the relationship between philosophy and sports culture from a philosophical perspective, as well as the current problems in sports culture. Finally, it used the method of social constructivism to explain it from different perspectives. Finally, through the social constructivism method, it examined the university sports culture in the new era and, dialectically, analyzed the forms, functions, reconstruction paths and future thinking of university sports culture. Research has found that the sports culture of universities, in the new era, plays an important role in cultural, educational, and political aspects. The reconstruction and future development of university sports culture, in the new era, need to combine Eastern and Western cultures, inherit excellent traditional culture and achieve innovative development of sports culture.

Populism in The United States During Donald Trump's Government: The Failure to Understand Human Identity from The Perspective of Constructivism

This research analyzes human impartiality towards the single rationality of human ethics or cosmopolitanism in accepting racial, cultural, ethnic, and religious differences that have existed since the earth was created. The impartiality of the single value of human ethics takes Donald Trump's administration as the case study. After being elected as US President, Donald Trump followed the voice of his voters in determining the policies, especially regarding immigrants. Immigrants assessed undermine the country's economy and damage the social order of the local community. It resulted in a national political map that rejects the single rationality of ethical value of humanity, known as populism. Qualitative research methods are used by conducting in-depth research based on existing literature studies, including books used explicitly for theory development, journals to develop data, and media reports to analyze world leaders' responses towards Donald Trump's policies. Constructivism employs to analyze the case. The result was the rejection of the values of cosmopolitanism because of the community's disappointment with the government that offered jobs to strangers, especially immigrants without adequate skills, so the local community felt that their rights were being taken away and sacrificed under the pretext of justice. This assumption arose because people assumed their economic resources and welfare, such as job vacancies and social assistance provided by the state, absolutely belonged to them. This rejection then advocated to become an anti-immigrant issue, an act of rejection of differences in social identity that considers immigrants to be damaging to the economy, social stability and causing political turmoil that offends human identity. Trump used these community anxieties to win the 2017 US elections by using the political slogan Make America Great Again.

Socio-Ecological Resilience and Social System in Candirejo Village, Magelang

One of the serious problems faced by the Magelang District in developing villages that have been transformed into rural tourism as an effort to alleviate poverty, is the socio-ecological crisis that threatens the goal of sustainable development. The dilemma of complex rural ecosystems is due to changes in the socio-ecological dimensions resulting from the interaction of material and energy exchanges between humans and their environment. Exploitation of nature in the name of tourism has become one of the short-term solutions for farming communities. As a result, problems such as natural damage to social conflicts occur in the village. This research aims to analyze the causes of the socio-ecological crisis and explore the Social system in Candirejo Village. Magelang Regency. The Social System seen from the perspective of constructivism will be measured and analyzed using three aspects of cybernetic reflection (Luhmann). The method used is case study qualitative research and data is collected through in-depth interviews, FGDs, and observations. The results show that socio-ecological improvements also impact agents of change, extend the tourism season, increase community participation, align the visitor experience with Borobudur's image, and increase equitable access to tourism revenue opportunities, all of which strengthen the socio-ecological field.

Reviewing China-AUKUS Tensions through Constructivism

AUKUS is a relatively new trilateral pact. By aiming to maintain security and peace in the Indo-Pacific, AUKUS will indirectly deal with China as a country that is considered to have an important position in the region at this time. This research was conducted using a qualitative method whose sources were obtained from books, journals, scientific papers, etc. related to the problems between AUKUS and China. In this research, the tension between AUKUS and China will be discussed from the perspective of constructivism which assumes that the tension between the two comes from the perceptions that arise. This means that the tension that exists between AUKUS and China does not originate from material things as many neorealist or neoliberalist groups say. Rather, it is the different ideas/norms between the two camps that create tension. The AUKUS camp, which carries a democratic mission to maintain peace, is under a global hegemon that wants to maintain the current international structure, namely the United States. Where the United States secures the Indo-Pacific along with its two allied countries. Even though there has been much criticism, this trilateral pact continues because they both agreed to make China their enemy in terms of regional security.

The authentic experiences of tourists in Chinese traditional villages based on constructivism: a case study of Chengkan village

Purpose This study aims to examine the role of authenticity in tourists’ destination selection, analyze the factors that influence tourists to form their initial opinions and explore how tourists construct the authenticity of traditional villages. The authors selected Chengkan village in Huizhou district, Huangshan city, as a case. In the study, the authors constructed an attribute-hardware-software research framework and analyzed tourists’ authentic emic experiences from the perspective of constructivism. The findings of this study suggest that tourists’ destination selection is influenced by authenticity. The destination culture brokers who interact with tourists play an essential role in forming authentic experiences. According to differences in how tourists construct authenticity, the study divided tourists into three types: primitive imagination, aesthetic reality and rational cognition. The results of this study provide a deeper understanding of various viewpoints about authenticity research and contribute to the academic discussion on how to understand the authenticity of unique cultural heritage sites such as traditional villages in the context of tourism development.

The utilization of TikTok as a social medium no longer serves merely as a communication or social interaction tool. Individuals become entranced by the presence of social media, choosing to exist within the virtual realm construction to the extent that they can no longer distinguish between simulated and genuine realities. This study employs a constructivism perspective through a case study approach to unveil the hyperreality encountered by creators when using TikTok's live feature, examined through Jean Baudrillard's Simulation Simulacra theory. The live broadcasts on TikTok represent a simulation of a life of popularity, ultimately propelling creators into experiencing hyperreality. This research subsequently underscores how social media functions as a simulacrum, influencing users' perceptions of both themselves and the world around them. Furthermore, it highlights the intricate complexities of cultural shifts and behavioral changes within the digital era.

Enlightenment on Career Education from Bruner’s Narrative View of Cultural Psychology

At present, China’s career education displays a lack of cultural awareness. From the perspective of Constructivism, narrative career counseling focuses on the process of individual construction, while Bruner’s narrative view of cultural psychology highlights the perspective of social culture. Learners can acquire the ability needed for career development from culture to cope with the complexity and changeability of society. Bruner’s narrative view of cultural psychology emphasizes the meanings, metaphors and mutations in culture. The enlightenment on career education will be discussed from two aspects in this paper: one is that career education should be developed from a cultural perspective because culture is a resource and tool of career education; the other is that the narrative method should be adopted in career education.
