Mobius Group Generated by Two Elements of Order 2, 4, and Reduced Quadratic Irrational Numbers

The construction of circuits for the evolution of orbits and reduced quadratic irrational numbers under the action of Mobius groups have many applications like in construction of substitution box (s-box), strong-substitution box (s.s-box), image processing, data encryption, in interest for security experts, and other fields of sciences. In this paper, we investigate the behavior of reduced quadratic irrational numbers (RQINs) in the coset diagrams of the set Q ′ ′ m = η / s : η ∈ Q ∗ m , s = 1 , 2 under the action of group H = < x ′ , y ′ : x ′ 2 = y ′ 4 = 1 > , where m is square free integer and Q ∗ m = a ′ + m / c ′ , a ′ , a ′ 2 − m / c ′ c ′ = 1 , c ′ ≠ 0 . We discuss the type and reduced cardinality of the orbit Q ′ ′ p . By using the notion of congruence, we give the general form of reduced numbers (RNs) in particular orbits under certain conditions on prime p . Construction of robust substitution boxes based on chaotic systems

The construction of substitution boxes (s-boxes) is an important research area in cryptography. S-box is an important mathematical object. The aim of this study is to construct s-box designs with the best performance criteria for all chaotic system classes. The proposed method achieves the best s-box designs for all chaotic systems classes. The method is independent of the chosen chaotic system. The analyses show that maximum value of nonlinearity criterion is 106.75 and minimum value of equiprobable input/output XOR distribution table is 10. The importance of the best generated s-boxes based on chaotic systems is that cryptologic properties of the best generated s-box structures are the upper bound for chaos-based s-box literature.

A novel construction of substitution box using a combination of chaotic maps with improved chaotic range

The influential application of substitution boxes in secure communication and multimedia security attracted researchers to construct more robust substitution boxes. The advantage of using chaos in the secure communication is to get additional unpredictability and randomness in data. In this paper, substitution boxes are constructed with the help of chaotic system and linear fractional transformation. The 256 distinct values of each substitution box are then checked with the help of different available algebraic and statistical analyses. These tests evaluate the strength and application of substitution boxes in different encryption techniques. The results indicate the strength of anticipated technique.

A novel construction of substitution box with Zaslavskii chaotic map and symmetric group

In this article, we have presented a procedure to produce resilient nonlinear mechanisms used for the construction of substitution box S-box. The planned nonlinear component assists in transforming the intelligible message or plaintext into an enciphered format by the use of Zaslavskii chaotic map and S8 permutations. A substitution box is generated that uses initial conditions, apply particular chaotic parameter values. The results of proposed S-box are compared with already existing S-boxes.
