Research on Low-Carbon Economic Reform of Construction Industry Based on Stacking-IGA Modeling

Low-carbon economy is an economic development model centered on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which has become an inevitable trend in China. Low-carbon economic reform of the construction industry is an important part of China's realization of low-carbon economy, and the key lies in integrating and coordinating the relationship between low-carbon development and economic development of the construction industry. In order to achieve this goal, this paper aims to minimize the carbon emission and maximize the gross output value of the construction industry, and constructs the Stacking-IGA model, which includes data-driven, Stacking integrated model and improved genetic algorithm. First, based on the data-driven and Stacking integration model, the planning problem of low-carbon economic development target of the construction industry is defined. Secondly, the improved genetic algorithm is used to solve the problem. Finally, the Pareto frontier surface is used to provide a reference basis for the low-carbon economic reform of the construction industry. The research results show that the model circumvents the dependence of the traditional objective planning model on the assumption of the objective function and the assumption of the background conditions, and is suitable for uncertainty objective planning modeling and solving. The model shows good results in sample expansion, sample equalization, feature redundancy, model accuracy and stability, objective solving efficiency and solving quality. It is difficult to realize the reduction of carbon emission and the increase of total output value in China's construction industry at the same time, and to realize the reform of low-carbon economy in the construction industry, we should start from the production of building materials and promote the new construction technology at the same time.

Towards a sustainable construction: A newly proposed Tapio-global meta-frontier DEA framework for decoupling China's construction economy from its carbon emissions

Uncovering the decoupling degree and its influencing factors is an important work to look for the carbon abatement and sustainable development in China's construction industry (CCI). To arrive at a solution, we proposed a research framework by taking into account the Tapio decoupling model and biased directional distance function based on global meta-frontier DEA, so as to reveal out the motive force and resistance that can help decouple construction industry economy from its carbon emissions. Discussion results indicate that during the sample period: (1) China's construction economy and carbon emissions exhibited weak decoupling. The advances of energy/production technology were two dominant factors in helping construction economy decoupled from carbon emissions, while construction economic activity exerted the largest effects in impeding decoupling process. (2) The decoupling degree and driving effects differed significantly in three regions. Regional energy/production technology disparity narrowed in central and western region, and further contributed to their decoupling. Energy-biased and output-biased scale change exerted impeding effects on the decoupling in eastern and central region, while exerted diametrically opposite effects on western region's decoupling. Besides, the change of energy/production resource allocation efficiency in eastern and western region acted motivating effects in their decoupling, while formed restriction in central region's decoupling.

Research on the coordinated development of provincial urbanization and carbon emission efficiency of construction industry in China

BackgroundEnergy conservation and emission reduction policies restrict the economic and social development of all countries in the world, and the impact on China, which has low urbanization, is more serious. In the process of promoting urbanization, the pressure of carbon emission reduction in the construction industry has increased, and the high emissions of the construction industry have made the low-carbon development of cities face severe challenges. China is at a critical stage of urbanization development, and there is become a general consensus on how to improve the carbon emission efficiency of the construction industry. The interaction between urbanization and the carbon emission efficiency of the construction industry is a long-term and complex process. As one of the industries contributing to China’s urbanization process and carbon emissions, it is of great practical significance to explore the coordination relationship between urbanization and the carbon emission efficiency of the construction industry (CEECI) to realize the goal of “double carbon”, promoting urbanization construction and solving the problem of “green development”. Taking 30 provinces in China as the research target area, the double weighted summation method and the undesirable output superefficiency window-EBM-DEA model are used to measure the provincial urbanization level and CEECI, respectively. Then, the coupling coordination degree model of the relative development index is introduced, and the spatial autocorrelation model and the spatial and temporal differentiation characteristics of the coordination level of urbanization and the CEECI are analysed.ResultsFrom 2010 to 2021, China’s urbanization level increased steadily, but the growth rate gradually decreased. There were significant differences in urbanization levels among provinces. The eastern provinces have a higher level of urbanization but lack an impetus in the later period, while the western provinces have a lower level of urbanization but a faster growth rate. The low-carbon development trend of China’s construction industry is good, and the overall development of the CEECI shows an “N” type, and the inflection points appear in 2013 and 2018. The interprovincial urbanization level is significantly different from that of the CEECI, and the development form of the central and western provinces is better than that of the eastern provinces. The coordination level of urbanization and the CEECI in China is transitioning from the running-in stage to the coordination stage, and the coupling coordination degree between systems is on the rise, while the relative development degree is on the decline. The spatial distribution pattern is in a dynamic state of change, and the overall distribution pattern is “high in the east and low in the central and western regions”. The differences among provinces were significantly decreased, with 63.33% of provinces at the high running-in level. The provinces that entered the coordination stage were mainly located in the eastern region, and only Beijing was in the coordination stage by the end of the study. In addition, 90% of the provinces exhibited lagging efficiency, and only Jiangxi, Guangxi and Chongqing, which had low coordination levels maintained synchronous development of the two systems. The coordination level between provincial urbanization and the CEECI showed a positive spatial distribution, the global Moran index showed a “V” shape trend, and the spatial dependence of the coordination level between the two systems gradually weakened. In the local spatial distribution, there are two types of convergence: high and low.ConclusionsThe coordination degree of urbanization and the CEECI analysed in this study is an extension of the research on the relationship between the two. By integrating the two into a unified framework, the method of combining quantitative and qualitative analysis is used to further explore the coordination relationship between the two, which not only enhances the scientificity and accuracy of the research but also extends the breadth and depth of relevant theoretical research. At the same time, according to the coordination type between urbanization and the CEECI, China should propose corresponding targeted coordination and optimization paths from the perspective of urbanization and low-carbon development of the construction industry to achieve high-quality development of China’s economy and society.

Research on Optimization of Quantitative Evaluation Model of Value for Money for PPP Projects

With the continuous development of China construction industry, in recent years, government departments are actively cooperating with social capital in the PPP model to solve public infrastructure construction problems. This study explores the interaction between the driving factors that affect value for money in the PPP model and their respective importance proportions. It combines the literature analysis method and the Delphi method to construct an index system, uses the analytic hierarchy process to calculate the weight of the driving factors, and adopts decision-making The laboratory method was used to construct a comprehensive influence matrix and calculate centrality. The results show that the comprehensive impact of reasonable risk sharing, recognition of stakeholders, organizational and operational capabilities, long-term contract, full life cycle costs, and government control of prices is relatively high. Government factors are easily affected by other types of factors, while society and the environment have a higher degree of impact on other factors.

Assessing Safety Efficiency in China’s Provincial Construction Industry: Trends, Influences, and Implications

Ensuring safety is crucial for promoting the sustainable growth of the construction industry. Assessing safety efficiency is of significant importance for optimizing safety management processes and improving the safety environment. However, the current mainstream methods for evaluating safety efficiency have limitations such as ignoring non-desired outputs and slack variables, the efficiency values being limited to the (0, 1) range, and a narrow perspective. To address these shortcomings, this study focuses on the characteristics of the construction industry and introduces the Super-SBM model and Malmquist index into the assessment of safety efficiency in the construction industry. The study analyzes the evolution characteristics of safety efficiency from both static and dynamic perspectives. Furthermore, using panel quantile regression models, the study identifies the factors influencing safety efficiency and analyzes their heterogeneity. Analyzing panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2015 to 2021, the results show that the overall safety efficiency of the construction industry in China is relatively low, with noticeable spatial clustering characteristics. Provinces in the eastern and central regions exhibit higher levels of construction safety efficiency. The Malmquist index demonstrates a declining trend, with technical efficiency being the primary factor limiting the improvement of safety efficiency in construction. Factors such as per capita GDP, urbanization rate, committed contract amounts, and the number of professionals engaged in survey and design, as well as engineering supervision, have an impact on construction safety efficiency, and the effects of these variables vary across different quantile levels of safety efficiency. This research can assist decision-makers in gaining a better understanding of the safety conditions in different regions of the construction industry. It can also assist in developing customized policies to enhance the health and safety environment, thereby promoting the stable development of the construction industry.

Spatio-temporal patterns and impact mechanisms of CO2 emissions from China's construction industry under urbanization

The construction industry fuels China's rapid urbanization, which also escalates carbon emissions. This study aims to investigate the spatio-temporal patterns and impact mechanisms of construction carbon emissions (CCE) under urbanization to inform low-carbon policies. We investigate the spatial heterogeneity and temporal trends of China's CCE employing the carbon emission coefficient method and the backpropagation neural network, identify various development patterns of CCE under urbanization using the K-means clustering method, and further comprehensively explore the key influencing factors through the logarithmic mean Divisia index decomposition method. Our findings indicate that: (1) CCE presents a notable spatio-temporal polarization and aggregation effect during 2009–2018 in China. Compared with rough development scenario, the green development scenario is predicted to effectively reduce CCE by 5.17 % in 2030. (2) The relationship between urbanization and CCE is revealed to be an “inverted U-shape” and four different development patterns are identified. (3) Overall, the output intensity and structural effect of fixed asset inputs are critical factors contributing to CCE. Importantly, the impact mechanisms of CCE vary under different development patterns. This study provides essential evidence-based information and scientific support for CCE reduction in China, which highlights targeted and tailored strategies for reducing CCE considering different patterns under urbanization.

Evolution and Influencing Factors of Spatial Correlation Network of Construction Carbon Emission in China from the Perspective of Whole Life Cycle

Based on the whole life cycle perspective, the carbon emissions of the provincial construction industry in China from 2011 to 2019 were calculated from the production, construction, operation, and demolition stages of building materials. A spatial correlation network matrix of the carbon emissions in the construction industry was constructed by using the modified gravity model, and the structural characteristics of the correlation network were described by introducing social network analysis. Through the quadratic assignment program, the spatial correlation matrix of carbon emissions in the construction industry and its influencing factors were regressed and analyzed. The conclusions were as follows:① the spatial correlation network of carbon emissions in China's construction industry clearly existed. The network density and network correlation numbers were gradually rising, and the network tightness and stability were gradually improving. ② Shanghai, Tianjin, Beijing, and Jiangsu had a higher degree centrality and closeness centrality, which are the core and dominant positions of the spatial correlation network of carbon emissions in the construction industry. Zhejiang replaced Shanghai in the top four from 2013 to 2018, and the betweenness centrality of each province had unbalanced characteristics. ③ Beijing, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Inner Mongolia, Shanghai, and Shandong were "net beneficiaries" blocks, receiving the carbon emissions from other regions. Four provinces, Guangdong, Chongqing, Fujian, and Shandong, belonged to the "broker" sector, achieving a dynamic balance between the production and consumption sides of building carbon emissions. The remaining 20 provinces played a "net spillovers" role, actively sending carbon emissions from the construction industry to other provinces. The correlation between blocks was much greater than the correlation relationship within the blocks. ④ Industrial structure, urban population, spatial adjacency, consumption level, and construction industry process structure had a significant influence on the spatial correlation of carbon emissions in the construction industry. The greater the inter-provincial differences in industrial structure, urban population, spatial adjacency, and consumption level, the greater the similarity of inter-provincial construction industry process structure, and the stronger the spatial correlation and spatial spillover of the construction industry carbon emissions. Finally, according to the evolution characteristics and influencing factors of the spatial correlation network of building carbon emissions, relevant countermeasures and suggestions were provided for the collaborative carbon reduction development of the construction industry region.

Impacts of leader anger expressions on newcomer proactive career behavior and work alienation in the construction industry

PurposeDespite the growing body of empirical research on leader anger expressions, the issue of how and when leader anger expressions shape newcomers’ proactive career behavior and work alienation in the construction industry has been largely overlooked. Building upon social information processing theory, this research identifies newcomers’ organization-based self-esteem as a mediator, and suggests that newcomers’ performance goal orientation could moderate the relationship.Design/methodology/approachA questionnaire study was conducted on the construction industry in China, and the PROCESS program developed by Hayes was used to test the hypothetical model with 215 valid cases.FindingsThe results suggest that leader anger expressions are negatively associated with newcomers’ organization-based self-esteem, and organization-based self-esteem mediated the link between leader anger expressions and newcomers’ proactive career behavior and work alienation. Furthermore, the newcomers’ performance goal orientation moderates the negative impact of leader anger expressions on newcomers’ organization-based self-esteem.Research limitations/implicationsDue to the cross-sectional nature of this study, causal implications are difficult to draw. Moreover, all data we received was based on participant self-reports, which may raise concerns about common method variance.Originality/valueIn this paper, we contribute to a deeper understanding of the mediating mechanisms and boundary conditions by which leader anger expressions influence newcomers’ proactive career behavior and work alienation from social information processing perspective, in addition to providing valuable insights for management of newcomers in the construction industry.

Spatial differences, dynamic evolution and influencing factors of China's construction industry carbon emission efficiency

Improving the construction industry carbon emission efficiency (CICEE) is crucial for achieving sustainable development. To promote low-carbon development in the construction industry, it is essential to measure carbon emission efficiency (CEE) and analyze spatial differences, dynamic evolution, and influencing factors. This study measures CICEE in 30 provinces in China from 2005 to 2019 and evaluates CEE using the minimum distance to a strong efficient frontier (MinDS) model with undesirable outputs. Subsequently, the Dagum Gini coefficient and its decomposition, as well as spatial autocorrelation analysis, are used to explore the sources of spatial differences and the spatial clustering pattern of CEE. The dynamic trend of CEE is analyzed through kernel density estimation, traditional and spatial Markov chains. Finally, geographical detectors are used to detect the explanatory factors and their interactions on spatial differences in CEE. The results of this study show that the CICEE presents an increasing and then decreasing trend, with the highest CEE in the eastern region, followed by the central and northeastern regions, and the lowest in the western region. Additionally, the eastern region exhibits the highest intra-regional differences and the highest inter-regional differences with the western region. Meanwhile, CEE shows a positive spatial correlation, with high-high (H-H) clustering in the eastern region and low-low (L-L) clustering in the western and northeastern regions. Polarization has been evident throughout the entire country and its four regions in recent years. It is challenging to achieve the CEE transfer through rapid advancement, and the efficiency of neighboring provinces will influence the potential transfer of the local province. Finally, factors such as enterprise scale, economic development level, degree of openness to the outside world, innovation level, industrial structure, and energy consumption structure all affect the spatial differences in CEE, with the interaction effect being higher than the single factor. This study presents a novel computational model to measure CICEE, analyzes the structural factors contributing to the spatial differences in CICEE, and provides theoretical support for the synergistic improvement of CEE across different regions. Combining with spatial autocorrelation analysis, the spatial distribution characteristics of CICEE are analyzed from the static level. This study provides a comprehensive examination of the evolution trend of CICEE, focusing on its dynamic evolution characteristics and the long-term transfer dimension. Additionally, geographical detector technology is introduced for the first time to analyze the influencing factors of spatial differences in CICEE. providing scientific evidence for the sustainable and coordinated development of different regions in China's construction industry. Furthermore, this study also contributes to the development of varied strategies for improving CICEE in China.

Research on the path of building carbon peak in China based on LMDI decomposition and GA-BP model.

The building sector contributes significantly to carbon emissions, impeding China's progress toward its 2030 carbon emissions peak target due to the limited utilization of renewable energy sources. This study aims to forecast the peak and timing of carbon emissions in China's construction industry to chart a low-carbon roadmap for the sector's future. Initially, an extended logarithmic mean divisia index (LMDI) decomposition model, based on the Kaya identity, is proposed to gauge the contribution levels of driving factors affecting building carbon intensity. Subsequently, a hybrid prediction model (IGA-BP) is constructed, employing an optimized two-hidden-layer neural network via a genetic algorithm, to forecast building carbon emissions and intensity. Additionally, four scenarios are outlined, each defining pathways to simulate emissions peak, carbon peak timing, and intensity within the Chinese building sector from 2020 to 2050. The research findings reveal: (1) The final emission factor of buildings primarily drives the surge in building carbon intensity, while the industrial structure stands as the most significant limiting factor. (2) Compared to alternative models, the proposed hybrid prediction model more effectively captures the evolution pattern of carbon emissions. (3) The prediction results indicate that China's building carbon intensity has reached its peak. Pathway 12 closely aligns with the sector's carbon emissions peak, projecting a peak value of 5.609 billion tons in 2029. To attain this pathway, China needs to develop more precise and feasible emission reduction strategies for its buildings. Overall, the research outcomes furnish robust references for decision-making in future efforts aimed at reducing building emissions.

A Review of Innovative Design Strategies for Prefabricated Green Buildings

This makes them an important aspect of the development of the construction industry in China, representing modernization and sustainable development. This article presents a study on the innovative design of prefabricated green buildings. This article serves to promote sustainable development on a macro level.

EFFECT AND MECHANISM OF CHINA’S PREFABRICATED BUILDING POLICIES TO PROMOTE PATENT OUTPUT WITH CARBON-NEUTRALITY AS A TARGET

ABSTRACT Unlike cast-in-place buildings, prefabricated buildings can conserve energy and reduce pollution, diminish damage to the environment caused by construction projects, drive greening of the construction industry, and promote carbon neutrality. The prefabricated construction industry is highly developed in China. This study analyzes prefabricated building policies and patents in Chinese provinces from 2011 to 2020 and systematically discusses the impact mechanism of supply-oriented, environment-oriented, and demand-oriented prefabricated building policies on patent output from static and dynamic perspectives. Correlations between policies and patent output were analyzed in the spatiotemporal dimension from a static perspective. A system dynamics model was used to investigate the causal relationship between the enterprise, university research, and government subsystems. Simulations were conducted to determine the sensitivity of policies in different dimensions to evaluate the impact of different policy categories and dynamics on patent output. The results: (1) policies are significantly and positively spatiotemporally correlated with patent output; (2) patent output increases over time, the positive effect is enhanced when policy implementation is strengthened; and (3) the effects of different dimensional policies on patent output differ across different periods. Overall, the effect of demand-oriented policies was the most significant, followed by environment- and supply-oriented policies. Before 2020, the effects of environment- and supply-oriented policies were equivalent, but the promotional effects of supply-oriented policies became more prominent after that, and (4) sub-policies contributing to dimensional policies vary. Fiscal and financial, science and technology, and public procurement sub-policies are critical in supply-, environment-, and demand-oriented policies, respectively. The findings can contribute to a virtuous cycle of prefabricated building policies and patent output systems, and provide information to accelerate sustainable, green industrialized development of the prefabricated construction industry in China.

This paper addresses the shortcomings of quality management of assembly construction projects, relies on the advantages of BIM technology in informatization and synergization, explores its application in the quality management of assembly construction projects, and evaluates its application effect, with a view to providing a reference for other similar projects relying on BIM technology for quality management, and further promoting the development of China's assembly construction.

The centennial sustainable assessment of regional construction industry under the multidisciplinary coupling model

Sustainability research in the construction industry is of great strategic significance to the ecological environment of countries worldwide. This paper innovates theoretical models such as “structural response sensitivity weight” through interdisciplinary research on advanced mathematics, engineering science, computer science, environmental management and economic sociology. The model solves the limitations of multi-factor, multi-discrete, multi-constraint and low coupling iteration accuracy. The article shows the robustness of the model through case studies. The research data shows that the construction industry in China will reach its highest life cycle assessment emission peak of 2.73 GT in 2030 and will have harmful emissions of -2.78 GT between 2061 and 2098. The social impact assessment will peak at 4.26 GT in 2048 and harmful emissions of −3.75 GT per year from 2061 to 2098. This research provides a comprehensive research theory system and reference standards for scientific calculation and accurate assessment of the sustainable development of the construction industry in various countries around the world.

Mapping stakeholders' relationships management in fulfilling corporate social responsibility: A study of China's construction industry.

Businesses today face a strong call for implementing corporate social responsibilities (CSR) subject to stakeholders' multiple expectations on the creation of long-term value. However, a vast majority of companies have struggled with the challenge of stakeholder management in CSR fulfillment, giving rise to a waste of enterprise resources. This study aims to map out stakeholders' relationships in CSR fulfillment to underscore stakeholder management. 253 CSR reports published by Chinese listed construction companies from 2010 to 2021 were collected and analyzed to map the stakeholders' relationships. The results show that construction companies usually stress the importance of corporate governance and workers interest, followed by construction quality and environmental preservation in implementing CSR. They adopt three types of stakeholder management approaches: coercive, cooperative, and coordinated approaches. The study presents the latest effort in managing stakeholders' relationships in the domain of CSR research. It favors construction firms to reconsider CSR activities from the stakeholder management perspective.

Carbon emission scenarios of China's construction industry using a system dynamics methodology – Based on life cycle thinking

China is currently one of the world's major energy consumers and CO2 emitters. To save energy, and reduce consumption and carbon emissions, China proposed (at the 2020 United Nations General Assembly and Climate Summit) the introduction of stronger policies and measures for CO2 emissions to peak in 2030 and to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. The construction industry is a major contributor to China's carbon emissions, thus research on energy saving and carbon reduction in this industry is essential. The construction industry is characterized by complex upstream and downstream industrial chains, with different energy consumption at each stage, and a long overall life cycle. We used life-cycle thinking (LCT) to analyze the carbon emissions of the whole life cycle of the construction industry and built a model by using a system dynamics method, which analyzes the carbon emission process of the construction industry at different stages. Combined with the planning and policies implemented by the construction-related departments, we identified the main indicators of policy regulation and control. We used sensitivity analysis to examine the impacts of factors of regulation and control. We also adjusted key indicators and set up different scenarios to simulate the carbon emissions based on the effort to achieve “peak carbon.” The results show that the carbon emissions of the construction industry will be reduced by 2060, achieving the goals of “peak carbon” and “carbon neutrality.” Although the construction and operation stages individually can achieve peak carbon by 2030, the whole process of the construction industry will reach peak carbon by 2045, 2038, or 2036, depending on specific aspects of the scenario considered. However, the indicators, such as the green building ratio can realize carbon emission reduction at building operation stage for 4%∼6%, but cause greater carbon emission for 5%∼7% at construction material production and transportation stage—a phenomenon called “policy island.” Therefore, the coupling of policies should be a key concern in policy formulation and implementation.

Development and Challenges of BIM in the Construction Industry in China and Australia

This article examines the application and development of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the construction industries of China and Australia. The visual, coordination, simulation, and optimization characteristics of BIM provide a foundation for project management. In China, BIM has been widely adopted in major engineering projects, but it still faces challenges such as inactive design institutes, inconsistent data standards, and a shortage of BIM talent. BIM usage in Australia is relatively low, partially due to the lack of government enforcement. It is recommended to promote wider BIM application in various fields through training, resource support, establishing industry standards, and providing incentives. In summary, BIM technology holds significant potential for the future development of the construction industry, but overcoming various challenges is necessary to achieve its maximum benefits.

The relationship between social responsibility fulfilment and industry competitiveness: Empirical evidence from construction industry in China.

Social responsibility fulfilment is an important part of the operation management (OM) and competitiveness of the construction industry (CIC). This study investigates the mechanisms through which social responsibility fulfilment in the construction industry affects industry competitiveness and the mediating role of industry operations management. From the intra-organizational stakeholder perspective, social responsibility fulfilment (SR) is divided into two dimensions: shareholder-dimensional (SH) and employee-dimensional social responsibility fulfilment (EM). By analysing a panel of the construction industry in 12 provinces of China from 2015 to 2020, an inverted U-shaped relationship between social responsibility fulfilment and construction industry competitiveness and between shareholder-dimensional social responsibility fulfilment and construction industry competitiveness was found, while a U-shaped relationship between employee-dimensional social responsibility fulfilment and construction industry competitiveness was found. Furthermore, social responsibility fulfilment and shareholder-dimensional social responsibility fulfilment had significant effects on operation management. Additionally, the study concludes that operation management is positively related to construction industry competitiveness and plays a partially mediating role between social responsibility fulfilment and construction industry competitiveness. The findings enrich the theoretical basis of the relationship between social responsibility fulfilment and competitiveness and demonstrates important management significance for the construction industry in managing its social responsibility behaviour and improving industry competitiveness, thus promoting high-quality development of the construction industry.

Countermeasures for the Transformation of Migrant Workers to Industrial Workers in the Construction Industry Based on Evolutionary Game Theory

With the rapid development of new construction methods, China’s construction industry is facing the transformation challenges of industrialization and informationization. However, migrant workers are characterized by high mobility, low education, and poor skills in China’s national conditions, which can no longer meet the requirements of operations. The transformation of the low-level manual migrant workers in the construction industry to high-level skilled industrial workers is inevitable. In order to explore how to better achieve the transformation of construction workers, evolutionary game research with construction unit and labor company as the subjects was carried out. Three types of assumptions were introduced into the constructed evolutionary game model: cooperation mechanism, spillover effect, and incentive mechanism (CSI). Simulation experiments and analysis of the model were finally conducted. The results of the game analysis finally show: (1) a higher initial proportion of selected transformed industrial workers; (2) a fair benefit concession from the construction unit to the labor company; (3) a lower revenue spillover effect; (4) that a higher level of regulation and incentives are conducive to the evolutionary game to converge to the desired state at a faster rate. The findings provide ideas for improving the labor system in China’s construction industry and lay the foundation for solving the labor specialization problem of new construction methods.
