Training On Making Website-Based Learning Media And Developing Students' Integrated Skills In Learning English At The Excelsis Deo Community Learning Center (PKBM) Manado

ABSTRACT This activity explores the implementation of integrated skills in English language learning and the incorporation of website-based learning media at the Excelsis Deo Manado Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM). The research addresses challenges in English education, including low student motivation, conventional teaching methods, and limited use of learning media. An integrated skills approach using children's literature is proposed to enhance language proficiency and cultural awareness. To support this method and overcome media limitations, the study introduces training on creating website-based learning media for teachers. This training covers web design, content management systems, and interactive element creation, aiming to produce engaging online learning environments. The combination of integrated skills teaching and modern, website-based learning media is expected to significantly improve students' English language skills and overall learning experience. This approach not only addresses current educational challenges but also bridges the gap between traditional pedagogy and contemporary learner needs, while providing older teachers with opportunities to adapt to new educational technologies. Prediction Analysis of Package C Student Graduation at the Bollo DMansel Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) with the Naïve Bayes Algorithm Method

Education plays a crucial role in improving the quality of human resources and is the key to a nation's progress. Bollo DMansel Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) in West Papua provides a Paket C Equivalency Education program to help those who are underserved by formal education. The main challenge in this program is to increase student graduation rates. This research aims to analyze and predict the graduation of Paket C students at PKBM Bollo DMansel using the Naive Bayes algorithm method. The data used includes historical student data from 2021 to 2023, with a total of 128 students. The research steps include data collection, data pre-processing, Naive Bayes algorithm application, and prediction model evaluation. The results show that the Naive Bayes algorithm can provide graduation prediction with fairly high accuracy. The factors that most influence student graduation were identified, including attendance, test scores, and participation in activities. This research makes a real contribution to improving the quality of education at PKBM Bollo DMansel by providing a prediction tool to identify students at risk of not graduating so that timely intervention can be provided.

Kontribusi Pemerintah Kota Bitung dalam Memajukan Pendidikan Non-Formal melalui Bantuan Sosial kepada PKBM

This research illustrates how the Bitung City Government's policy through social assistance for the distribution of the implementation of non-formal education programs in the center of community learning activities in an effort to increase the level of graduation of the community in Bitung City through the Equality Examinations program. As well as how the Bitung City Government's policy related to budget assistance to the center of community learning activities can accommodate the needs of people who drop out evenly and have the same opportunity in the fulfillment of educational services in Bitung City. Thus, this research focuses on two things, namely 1) Analyzing a non -formal education budget assistance policy issued by the Bitung City Government; 2) Knowing the optimization of social assistance to the center of community learning activities for justice and equity in education for people of Bitung City. The research uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research by collecting data that researchers will use, namely through: in-depth interviews, observations and documentation studies. Through this research, it is known that the Bitung City Government has tried to strengthen the non-formal education sector through social assistance in the operational budget for equitable implementation of equality education programs at the center of community learning activities; the conclusion is that the Bitung City Government must maintain the aid policy for the long term by making a Mayor Regulation Consider the number of high school dropout communities and the limitations of the community learning activity center itself.

Training on Making Karamunting Flour as an Effort to Increase Entrepreneurial Knowledge of Learning Community Center Participants

Central Kalimantan has very high biodiversity in terms of animal and plant diversity. Carmunting (Melastoma malabatrhicum) is a typical plant in Central Kalimantan. This community service activity aims to provide students with entrepreneurial knowledge related to Karamunting flour processing at the Harati Community Learning Activity Center, East Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The training material provided included the benefits of caramunting fruit, selecting caramunting fruit that can be used as a flour product, how to process caramunting fruit and product marketing techniques for 20 residents studying at the Harati Community Learning Activity Center. This training material was delivered during two meetings in August 2023 using lecture and demonstration methods. The results of this community service activity show an increase in the knowledge of learning residents from 30% to 82% about processing caramunting and correct marketing techniques.

Education Financing Model Transformation to Build Education Accessibility Through Free School Fees at PKBM Golden

The Ayo Lanjut Sekolah program at the Golden Community Learning Activity Center offers access to tuition-free education for those disconnected from the formal education system. This study explores the management of education financing in the program context. Through a literature review approach, this study identifies funding strategies from external sources and evaluates their impact on program sustainability. The findings show that this innovative approach successfully improves access to education without imposing costs on learners. The implication emphasizes the importance of alternative models in education financing management to support education inclusivity for equal access to education that can be widely accepted. Suggestions for future research include further development in the understanding of education finance management and mapping sustainable funding models for similar programs. This research is expected to provide valuable guidance for education practitioners in designing inclusive and sustainable financing strategies to ensure equitable access to education for all. The study utilized a literature review to assess education financing management strategies at the Golden Community Learning Activity Center, focusing on the impact of the Ayo Lanjut Sekolah Program. Results indicated that sourcing external funding, such as government grants and corporate donations, positively affected program sustainability. This innovative approach addresses financing challenges for marginalized communities, enhancing educational access. The findings underscore the significance of inclusive financing models in improving education accessibility for marginalized groups.

Systematic Literature Review: Sistem Manajemen Kelembagaan Efektif pada Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) di Indonesia

This research is a review of effective institutional management at the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM). The research method used is reviewing reputable scientific articles found on Google Scholar. The data collection technique in the research was carried out by collecting various relevant articles. The findings in the study provide an explanation of the importance of institutional management in PKBM in order to realize quality education. Governance management in PKBM institutions can be carried out using the principles of planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating. This principle is an effective step in increasing effectiveness which is based on quality standardization and institutional academic quality. On the other hand, in order to recruit human resources, an appropriate plan is needed as a concrete form of a quality institution. Recruitment of human resources can be done using a staffing strategy by paying attention to the career stages of tutors and employees, as well as their dismissal. The success of the PKBM institution as a community social institution has become a pattern that is accompanied by standardization of the educational curriculum which is relevant to government regulations.

Cegah Perudungan dengan Pengembangan Potensi Warga Belajar di PKBM Yabes Medan

Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) is a non-formal education unit organized to meet various learning needs of the community established and managed by the community in an effort to empower local communitie. The purpose of this writing is to prevent bullying with the development of the potential of residents studying at PKBM Yabes Medan. The location of the practice is on Jl. Jamin Ginting GG. Build Sangka Manuk No. 8, Kel. Mangga, Kec. Medan Tuntungan, Medan City, North Sumatra. With the focus of the research subject on learning citizens. With a period of practice for 4 months. The method used in this practice is the groupwork method proposed by Zastrow with stages consisting of: (1) Engangement, Intake and Contract, (2) assessment, (3) Planning, (4) Intervention, (5) Monitoring, (6) Evaluation, and (7) Termination. The results of this practice show an increase in client knowledge in English language skills, basic computer operating skills and character. However, clients in a condition are vulnerable to bullying actions beyond their control. This is the result of previous habits. So evaluation and supervision are needed as a reminder so that clients can control themselves.

STRATEGI PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT BERBASIS KONTEKSTUAL DI PKBM AL MADINAH KOTA KEDIRI

Society is a human being who plays a role in increasing the capacity of life so that it continues to survive as it should. As an effort to increase capacity, educational institutions are needed that are not only formal in nature, but can also be done through non-formal education as a form of effort to develop society equally. Non-formal educational institutions that support equal communities include the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) which was formed by the community for the community which has an initiative movement to educate society in general through non-formal education. PKBM has an important role in empowering communities contextually to improve competitive and competitive community skills. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The research was carried out at PKBM Al Madinah, Kediri City, where non-formal education is carried out with very comprehensive coverage, including special packages for pursuing packages A, B and C, and other relevant learning programs. There are several unique findings found in PKBM Al Madinah in supporting contextual community empowerment. So the role of PKBM Al Madinah Kediri City is considered very important in providing learning space for the community in supporting abilities.

Learning Innovation based on seTARA daring in the Community Learning Activity Center

This study aims to describe learning innovations based on seTARA daring at (Community Learning Activity Center) PKBM Sunan Kalijaga Lirboyo Kediri, which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation stages, including identifying supporting and inhibiting factors and improvement efforts made. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study. In-depth interviews with leaders, teachers/tutors, and students, as well as observations of the learning process and online classes, were used to gain an in-depth understanding of experiences in the educational environment. Supporting data were obtained from official documents such as the e-learning curriculum, teaching records, and learning outcome evaluation. The results show that the learning innovation based on the seTARA daring application is practical and can benefit the students. At the planning stage, meetings were held to design implementation strategies, discuss policies, and announce the strategies and policies to students. The implementation stage involves implementing the policy and practical guidance and improving tutor innovation. The evaluation stage assessed the success of learning innovations based on the seTARA daring application by collecting feedback from tutors and students, becoming the basis for future improvement and enhancement. This research provides an essential contribution to understanding the challenges and potential solutions to optimize e-learning in the equivalency education program in PKBM.

Quality Management of Islamic Homeschooling Services at Ahsani Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) Bandung City

This research aims to analyze the quality management of Islamic Homeschooling services at PKBM Ahsani, Bandung City. This type of research was descriptive qualitative. Data collection was conducted through interviews with PKBM leaders, teachers, and staff, direct observation of the learning process, and study of documents related to policies and curriculum. Qualitative data analysis through thematic analysis was conducted. This research found that first, PKBM Ahsani Bandung which provided Islamic Homeschooling services, needed to pay attention to the learning outcomes implemented, and paid attention to the quality of human resources, especially in terms of character and high creative ability. Service quality management was mandatory for PKBM considering the high desire of parents to obtain a good educational environment for their children. Second, The Blended Learning Learning Model was the choice of PKBM Ahsani in providing Islamic Homeschooling services because it was considered effective for the implementation of Islamic Homeschooling student equality education programs. Islamic Homeschooling could develop their own curriculum and had flexibility in Islamic Homeschooling time management so that the vision of Islamic Homeschooling could be achieved.

Kontribusi Kepemimpinan dan Faktor Iklim Kerja Terhadap Motivasi Kerja Tutor PKBM

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of leadership and work climate factors on the work motivation of tutors at the Community Learning Activity Center in Surakarta. This research uses quantitative methods. The research population was all PKBM tutors in Surakarta. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 15 tutors. Validation of the instrument uses the product moment correlation technique. Instrument reliability uses Cronbach's Alpha. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that: (1). Leadership contributes positively and significantly to increasing the work motivation of PKBM tutors in Surakarta (sig. 0.041). (2). The work climate contributes positively and significantly to increasing the work motivation of PKBM tutors in Surakarta (0.024). (3). Leadership and work climate contribute positively and significantly to increasing the work motivation of PKBM tutors in Surakarta (sig. 0.000).

Implementation of the Management Information System at the Community Learning Activity Center "Smart Bangun Negeri"

The management information system supports the implementation of activities at the Smart Bangun Negeri (SBN) Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) Bogor Regency. This research aims to describe implementing the management information system in the PKBM SBN Bogor Regency. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. Analysis was carried out using a descriptive approach. The research results show that the management information system in PKBM SBN is included in the quite optimal category. PKBM SBN faces several obstacles. It will be corrected by the PKBM SBN management to optimize its role in society.

Review of Community Learning Activity Center Service Quality

The Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) functions to provide educational services to every member of the community. The aim of this research is to describe a review of the quality of PKBM services. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach and literature study. Data analysis uses a content approach. The research results show that there are two supporting factors in the service quality improvement strategy: internal and external. The research results have also identified inhibiting factors in service quality improvement strategies: internal and external factors. PKBM and related stakeholders need to respond to the results of this research by paying attention to internal and external factors that support and hinder the quality of PKBM services.

Upaya Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Banti Indonesia di Kecamatan Grobogan

Community empowerment is an effort to optimize the ability of a society or community to improve skills, understanding, attitudes, abilities and be able to utilize existing resources to create welfare and independence so that the community becomes more empowered in the economic, social and cultural fields. One form of effort in empowerment is through non-formal education. One example of non-formal education that organizes learning activities is PKBM (Community Learning Activity Center). The Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) Bakti Indonesia is one of the PKBMs in Grobogan District. PKBM Bakti Indonesia has an activity program that includes equivalency education, PAUD, TPA, community reading parks, skills such as computer training, multimedia training, and PKW training (Entrepreneurial Skills Education). This study aims to determine community empowerment efforts through PKBM in Grobogan District. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show the role of PKBM Bakti Indonesia in community empowerment efforts in Grobogan District. In the field of education, the community is empowered through non-formal education institutions. While in the economic field, the community is empowered through the utilization and development of natural and human resources through PKW (Entrepreneurial Skills Education). Social Empowerment of Uncapable Communities through Formal Education and Informal Education in Cirebon City

This study aims to investigate the social empowerment of underprivileged and low-income communities through both formal and non-formal education in Cirebon City, West Java. The research method used is a literature study that focuses on the theme of Community Social Empowerment, formal and non-formal education. Resources come from secondary data in the form of public documents from the Office of Social Workers and Transmigration; Strategic Plan Document (RENSTRA) Cirebon City Education Office 2016-2021; and relevant literature. The results of the study consist of two sub-discussions. First, social empowerment of underprivileged communities through formal education is carried out in a simple and synergistic manner in accordance with the conditions of the community. Second, empowerment of low-income communities through non-formal channels is carried out through the concept of the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) and the Course & Training Institute (LKP). Both educational programs are said to be successful if there is a change for the better where the influence can be seen in the formation of characters such as self-confidence, creativity, and individual independence. The expected implication is that local governments can evaluate the Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) of the Cirebon City Education Office for 2016-2021 and carry out intense collaboration by collaborating with the private sector and educational institutions so that in the future, community social empowerment has a better contribution to national development. Human Resources Empowerment On Community Learning Activities Center In Tulungagung East Java Indonesia

The purpose of the study is to know the process of management learning activities center following planning, organizing, implementation, controlling, and evaluation. To knows human resources empowerment community Learning activities center with a tutor and professional teacher, interviewer, and conduct research for teacher, tutor, and student. This study used a qualitative approach with the case study. The research location is CommunityCommunity Learning activities center Wahyu Surya Pelangi Campurdarat, Nurani Tanggung Campurdarat and Sinar Pagi Pagerwojo Kabupaten Tulungagung. The data collection technique is used observation, dept interview, and documentation. Data analysis on individual case studies uses the Miles dan Huberman model use data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, data analysis cross-case with comparative analysis recommended by Yin (2002). Data reliability is used for credibility, transferability, dependability, and conformability. The result of the study: First, the management process of PKBM Tulungagung Jawa Timur Indonesia includes (a) planning used to decide the program conducted by PKBM, aim, and solution to face the obstacle raised (b) Organizing used to divide many classes suitable with ages, in other that can be differences between young and old learner, and organizational management structure PKBM with decided each task (c) the role implementation is to decide who can run the program PKBM, who as a teacher, and who as a student, and who as a person responsible of the program, and (d) The function of evaluation is to assess the program conducted or running, and decided the solution of obstacles. Second, human resources empowerment on PKBM Tulungagung Jawa Timur Indonesia. Many activities of empowerment are: (a) teaching activities taught by professionals, (b) giving training to the teacher to increase their skill to teach young and old learners (c) giving add programs of education and skill such as vocational, culinary art, etc. (d) incurring tutor from partner agency to give socialization for student, (e) Implementation the program of PKBM planned before, and (f) selection professional teacher will teach in PKBM.

Development of Alphabetic Cards as A Learning Medium for the Community Learning Activity Center Community

The development of the Out-of-School Education sector has a strategic role in improving the quality of human resources. Learning media in alphabet cards is needed to increase students' motivation and learning achievement in reading learning, which are used as a learning resource to develop learning models while playing for students. This research aims to determine and test the effectiveness of implementing the development of the learning process for reading while playing through alphabet card learning media for residents learning literacy in PKBM North Sulawesi Province. This research uses the "Research and Development" method, following the research stages of developing the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) in 4 districts: 1). Bolaang Mongon-dow South, 2). East Bolaang Mongondow, 3). Talaud Islands, and 4). North Minahasa. This research was designed for two years, and in the first year, 2022, it was carried out in 3 stages: 1). Analysis Stage, 2). Design stage, and 3). Development Stage. Meanwhile, two stages were carried out for the second year, namely the Implementation and Evaluation stages. It can be concluded that the learning process is effective because students who were previously literate but forgot the letters have learned them again. There is an increase in students' cognitive abilities, better ability to arrange letters to form meaningful words, and students' learning becoming more involved.

Hubungan Kompetensi Kepribadian Tutor Dengan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Mata Pelajaran IPA Paket C di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Sentosa Hati Kota Padang

The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of students in Package C in the Biology subject at the Sentosa Hati Community Learning Activity Center, Padang City. The objectives in this study are (1). to describe the personality competence of the tutor, (2). to describe the results of studying biology, (3). to see the relationship between tutor personality competencies and learning outcomes of biology students in package c at the Sentosa Hati Community Learning Activity Center. This research is a research with a quantitative approach and correlational type. The population of this study were students in biology subjects at the Sentosa Hati Community Learning Activity Center. The sample collection technique uses Random Sampling. The data collection technique was in the form of a questionnaire with a conducive data collection tool, significant biology learning outcomes between tutor personality competencies and student learning outcomes in biology subject in package c at the Sentosa Hati Community Learning Activity Center, Padang City. The results showed that the personality competence of tutors in Package C was low, and the learning outcomes of biology students were still low, and there was a significant relationship between tutor personality competencies and biology learning outcomes in package c at the Sentosa Hati Community Learning Activity Center, Padang City. Where for tutors to be able to develop personality competencies in the biology learning process in order to achieve increased student learning outcomes.
