Model Owens Kadakia-Learning Cluster Design untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Numerasi, Komunikasi, dan Berpikir Kritis Matematika Kelas I Sd XYZ Bekasi

This study aims to analyze the difference between numeracy, critical thinking and communication skills in classes that apply OK-LCD with classes that apply the lecture method. The subjects of the study were grade I elementary school students in Bekasi totaling 28 people for the control class and 27 people for the experimental class. The study period was conducted for four weeks starting October 2 to October 20, 2023. This study used a weak experimental design method with a static-group pretest-posttest design model. Research data are obtained through written tests and rubrics that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the analysis and statistical tests showed the difference in control class pretest scores with control class post test, experimental class pretest scores with experimental class post test, and control class nGain with experimental class nGain on numeracy skills, critical thinking rubrics, and student communication rubrics. The data were expressed in the average nGain in the experimental class for numeracy, critical thinking and communication skills with consecutive scores of 0.56; 0,57; and 0.66. On average nGain in the control class for numeracy, critical thinking, and communication skills with consecutive scores of 0.40; 0,42; and 0.59. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an increase in numeracy, critical thinking and communication skills in the control class and experimental class.

Application of The Peer Tutor Method to Improve Mathematical Communication Skills in Class X Students

This study aims to determine students' mathematical communication abilities through peer tutoring methods. The research method used is experimental research with a research design that is one group pretest-posttest. The population and sample of this study were class X MIPA students of SMAN 1 Lelea with a total of 20 students. The technique used in determining the sample is by using non-probability sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were test sheets for mathematical communication skills and student response questionnaires. The results showed that learning mathematics using peer tutoring methods can provide maximum results, namely that students' mathematical communication skills can increase, based on the average N-gain score of 0.72 in the high category. In addition, the results of the study also show that learning mathematics using peer tutoring methods can improve students' mathematical communication skills significantly. From the results of the N-gain test obtained, the peer tutor learning method can improve students' mathematical communication abilities. And for the results of the students' responses, namely students giving a good response to learning using the peer tutoring method with an average percentage of students using the peer tutoring method of 68.85%. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that this peer tutoring method can be used in learning mathematics in the classroom.

The Influence of Generative Learning Strategies and Group Investigation on Students' Mathematical Communication Ability

This study aims to determine students' mathematical communication skills by using generative learning strategies and Group Investigation strategies in Mathematics in class VIII of MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. This study uses a quantitative research approach with quasi-experimental methods while data collection is carried out using test, interview and observation techniques. The subjects in this study were students of grades VIII-A and VIII-C of MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. Hypothesis testing with T Test and Analysis of Variance. The results of these findings are: 1) There is an effect of generative learning strategies on students' mathematical communication skills in class VIII MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. Based on the results of the T test analysis, the value of t count = 21,846 and the value of t table at the level (α=0.05) = 2.052, then t count > t table; 2) There is an effect of the group investigation learning strategy on students' mathematical communication skills in class VIII MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. Based on the results of the t test analysis, the value of t count = 24,363 and the value of t table at the level (α=0,05 ) = 2,052, then t count > t table; 3) There is no effect of generative learning strategies and group investigation strategies on mathematical communication skills in class VIII mathematics at MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. Based on the results of the analysis of the F test, the value of F count = 0.018 and the value of F table at the level (α=0.05) = 4.020, then F count < F table.

Analisis Kecakapan Abad 21: Collaboration and Communication Skills Siswa Melalui Penerapan Discovery Learning

This study aims to determine the 21st century skills in the form of culinary skills and communication skills of class X students of SMK N 6 Semarang through the application of discovery learning models. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with a one shot case study research design. The population of this research is class X Culinary SMK N 6 Semarang. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique, namely class X Culinary 1 SMK N 6 Semarang. The skills assessment instrument used in this study was an observation sheet consisting of an observation sheet for collaboration skills and an observation sheet for communication skills. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, the results show that the skill skills of students in class X culinary 1 at SMK N 6 Semarang are achieved in the very high category, so that it can be interpreted that the application of discovery learning is capable of reaching the age of the 21st century, namely skills skills and communication skills.

Peningkatan Keterampilan Komunikasi dengan Metode Pembelajaran Role Playing pada Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

Based on the findings of observations, it was determined that students in class V still lacked adequate communication skills. It was found that only 50% of students saw the other person when communicating, 50% of students with a clear voice when speaking, 40% of students used good grammar, 40% of students with mastery of material content, and 45% of students who used gestures and facial expressions as communication aids. This study aims to address the issue of students' verbal and nonverbal communication skills in class V UPT SD Negeri 51 Gresik in order to apply the role-playing method to social studies learning. Class Action Research Method (CAR). The steps taken to conduct this research were divided into four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method of collecting data in this study is observing teacher activities, observing student activities, and observing students' communication skills. According to the findings of this study's analysis, using the role-playing technique enables students to develop effective communication with teachers and their peers. Then in the implementation of role playing or doing role play, students are more active and responsive from the beginning to the end of learning. Thus the role playing method to improve students' communication skills is declared effective.

HUBUNGAN SELF EFFICACY DENGAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIID MTSN 13 PESISIR SELATAN

Mathematical communication is a high level skill that students have acquired. Students' self efficacy is required to boost their learning confidence. The goal of this study was to see if there was a link between self efficacy and mathematical communication skills in Pesisir Selatan’s class VII D MTsN 13. This type of research is quantitative which is classified as correlational. The subjects of this study were 26 students were selected purposive sampling. A self efficacy test and a mathematical communication test were utilized to collect data in this study. This study’s data analysis method includes a simple linear regression test, a correlation test, and a hypothesis test utilizing the t test. Based the analysis it’s indicating that the linear relationship between X and Y is weak, and the analysis concluded that there is a weak but not significant relationship between self efficacy students’ mathematical communication skills in class VII D MTsN 13 Pesisir Selatan. After being traced through interviews, it was found that students were weak in understanding concepts, this was indicated by some students still confused with the use the right concepts in solving the problem given.

Analisis Nilai Karakter dalam Kegiatan Bermain Peran Anak Usia Dini

Character education is now indeed a major issue of education, apart from being part of the process of forming the nation's children's character, character education is also expected to be the main foundation in the success of Indonesia Gold 2025. Seeing these problems we need a method that can be used to improve the character of discipline, creativity, hard work and communication skills in class. One method that can be used is role playing. Role playing activities in kindergarten can achieve optimal achievement of all aspects of child development. The purpose of this study is to describe the character values ​​that appear during the role play. This research is a qualitative research based on the philosophy of postpositivism. The results of the research show that there are several character values ​​that are integrated in role playing, namely religious values, discipline values, honest values, hard work values, creative values, independent values, curiosity values, national spirit values, friendly/communicative values, love values. peace, the value of reading, the value of caring for the environment, the value of social care, the value of democracy, and the value of responsibility. The impact of character value analysis research in role playing is the integration of several character values ​​in role playing activities.
 

The Development of E-book Based on Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR) Approach to Improve Mathematical Communication Skills in Class VIII Junior High School Students

This study aims to obtain an e-book based on the Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR) approach that is valid, practical, and effective so that it can improve students' mathematical communication skills on the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) material. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments used were questionnaire and instrument validation sheets, lesson plans validation sheets, e-book validation sheets, mathematical communication skills tests, and student and teacher response questionnaires to e-books. Based on the research, the results of the RPP validation were obtained with a percentage of 88% (very valid), e-book validation with a percentage of 82% for material, and 90% for media with a very valid category. The results of student responses with the percentage of the practicality of 86% (very practical) and the teacher's response questionnaire with the percentage of the practicality of 86% (very practical). The results obtained by meeting the effective criteria with a classical student learning completeness score of 96%, more than 65% of students achieving 75% of the learning objectives for each indicator, and the learning time is the same as ordinary learning in field trials and student responses are good to the e-book provided. developed. Through the Gain test, it is seen that students' mathematical communication skills using e-books based on the PMR approach have increased by 0.7, meaning that they are in the high category.

THE EFFECT OF NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER (NHT) LEARNING METHODS ON COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF STUDENTS IN CLASS IV ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

his study aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together type of cooperative learning model on students' communication skills in class IV social studies content at SDN Gugus 01 Pringgarata District, Central Lombok in 2018/2019 academic year. This research is an experimental study of the type of Quasi-Experimental Design Type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling, which considers all kinds of aspects in determining the sample. The method of data collection is observation in the form of student observation sheets or direct observations and rubrics as a reference for assessment. The data obtained were then analyzed using the t-test polled variance formula to determine the effect of the use of the Numbered Heads Together type of cooperative learning model on students' communication skills. Based on the post-test results, the average value of students' communication skills in the experimental class was 75.9 and the control class was 67.8. The results of the t-test calculation obtained that the t-count value is greater than t-table namely, the t-count value is 2.84 while the t-table is 2.006 at a significance level of 5%. Thus, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is a positive and significant effect between the Numbered Heads Together type of cooperative learning model on students' communication skills in social studies content for class IV SDN Gugus 01 Pringgarata sub-district, Central Lombok in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Effectiveness of Concept Achievement Learning Model with Scientific Approach to Students' Mathematical Communication Skills in Class VIII Function Materials of SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi

This study is against the background of low students' mathematical communication skills. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of concept achievement model with scientific approach to students' mathematical communication skills in the function material of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi. This research is a quasi-quantitative research experiment. The sample technique used is cluster random sampling obtained class VIII-1 as an experimental class. Indicators of learning effectiveness used by researchers are 1) the quality of learning; 2) the level of learning. This study uses post-test instruments of learning results in the form of essays and observation sheets of teachers' similar teaching with the learning model used. Based on the regression analysis test obtained the regression equation Y= 16,230 + 0,783X, which means that both variables have a positive linear relationship. For the meaning of the correlation coefficient of communication ability obtained t table = 2,04 and t count = 16,368 which is the t count > t table. So the testing of the hypothesis of reject H0 and Ha accepted, then there is a strong and meaningful relationship between the learning model of concept achievement to the mathematical communication skills of students. Then the coefficient of determination obtained r^2= 89,93% means that there is a contribution of concept achievement learning model with scientific approach to the mathematical communication skills of students on function teaching materials by 89.93% so that based on learning quality indicators, the learning model is said to be effectively used. Based on the results of active observations of teacher activities obtained a total average of 4.26 which means the uniformity of teachers teaching with a model of learning concept achievement with a scientific approach is good and effective to the mathematical communication skills of students

Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa SMP Kelas VIII di Kampung Cigulawing

This research is motivated by the students' low mathematical communication skills. The research objective was to obtain a description of the students' mathematical communication skills in class VIII in mathematics learning. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were 4 grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Garut. The results showed (1) the students' mathematical communication skills in the data presentation material of class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Garut in Cigulawing Village, were generally said to be less good. Because most students have not been able to meet all the indicators; (2) Students with high mathematical abilities can achieve almost all indicators of mathematical communication skills; (3) Students with moderate mathematical abilities have not mastered several indicators of mathematical communication skills; (4) Students with low math abilities have not been able to master the indicators of mathematical communication skills.

Students' Communication Skills in Junior High School

This study aims to obtain an objective picture and information about students' communication skills in school. The research method uses quantitative descriptive methods with library studies' support, strengthening researchers' analysis in making conclusions following the subject matter—the data collection techniques using the Likert scale model. The communication skills questionnaire consisted of 4 indicators and 36 statement items. The Cronbach alpha coefficient of the entire scale calculated was 0.788. Because the scale factor and the reliability coefficient are high, the scale can be considered reliable, and the scale items are homogeneous. Communication skills scale distributed using Google forms. The research sample was 134 grade VII students of Al Azhar 26 Yogyakarta Islamic Middle School in 2019/2010. It consisted of seven classes, namely VII A, VII B, VII C, VII D, VII E, VII F, and VII G. The result showed that students' communication competency of indicators were in the medium category (71%). Communication barriers indicators were in a low category (67%). Meanwhile, body language communication got a low score (65%), and 77% of students have a low emotional maturity score in communication indicators. Overall, students' communication skills of class VII were classified as moderate (62%). The result show there was no significant difference in communication significance between male or female. Both male and female students have communication skills that are not good enough. Students' communication skills need to be improved by the teacher's guidance and counseling or counselor using guidance and counseling methods, such as discussion and other related methods.

Students’ verbal communication skills using e-handout aided Schoology with problem-based learning model on lup-optic topics

This study aims to determine the verbal communication skills of (1) class A and B (2) Class A than B (3) XI MIA SMAN 1 SLEMAN students after participating in learning to use the E-Handout aided PBL model based Schoology on optical-Lup topic. This study was included in the study design one-shot case study. This research was done in class XI MIA 3 and XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Sleman. In this study, verbal ability students judged by the ability of the student in preparing the report. Based on the analysis of the results of research and discussion be concluded as follows: (1.a) The verbal communication skill in class A is moderate with an average value of 56.3. (1.b)Verbal communication skills class B is high with an average value of 65.5. (2) Verbal communication skills in class B is better than Class A. (3) Verbal communication skills of XI MIA SMAN 1 SLEMAN students is high with an average score is 60,9. It can be concluded that is using E-Handout Based Problem Based Learning Model aided Schoology can develop student’s verbal communication skill.

Analysis of Communication Skills in Class IV Elementary School Students in Learning Entrepreneurship Through SRBP Models in SDN 3 Krakal

<em>Analysis of Communication Skills of Grade IV Elementary Students in Learning Entrepreneurship through the SRBP Model in SD N 3 Krakal. This study aims to analyze the communication skills of fourth grade students in Entrepreneurship learning through the SRBP (Scientific Reading Based Project) model or scientific project literacy based learning model at SD N 3 Krakal, Kebumen Regency. The method of data analysis is done by qualitative descriptive analysis. Data retrieval is done by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The population in this study were students of class IV SD N 3 Krakal, totaling 20 students. The results show that students of grade IV SD N 3 Krakal have a high level of communication skills, both towards the teacher, peers and other people around him. However, some students still have low communication skills, as evidenced when learning he/she just tends to be quiet and shame to argue.</em>

Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Menggunakan Strategi Numbered Head Together pada Siswa Kelas X-A MA Al Fattahiyyah

Implementation of Problem Based Learning Combined With Think Pair Share In Enhancing Students’ Scientific Literacy and Communication Skill Through Teaching Biology in English Course Peerteaching

Based on previous researches, it was known that deciding a proper learning strategy is crucially needed to foster students’ 21st century skill through learning activities. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles and uses Lesson Study approach. This research aims to understand the implementation of PBL combined with TPS in enhancing students’ scientific literacy and communication skill. In this research there were one model teacher, four observers and twelve students as subjects. The first cycle was conducted in March 6th 2018 while the second cycle was done in April 4th 2018. Instruments used in this research are observation sheet for observers, worksheet with scoring rubric to measure students’ scientific literacy skill and students’ learning experience questionaire for students using Likert scale. The results show that students’ scientific literacy skill is increased from 50% in cycle 1 into 79% in cycle 2. Students’ communication skill is also increased from 54% in cycle 1 into 70% in cycle 2. Results from observers show that PBL combined with TPS enhances student’ learning activities and communication skills in class. It can be concluded that the implementation of PBL combined with TPS enhances students’ scientific literacy and communication skill.

Incorporating the dialogic approach in literacy classes: An empirical study

This study aims at portraying the effect of using the dialogic approach by teachers in teaching a literary text to Algerian EFL learners at Teachers higher college of Laghouat. It depicts the approach’s impact on improving their communicative competence in class. Using a questionnaire and a classroom observation as research instruments, this research tempts to investigate the approaches used by two literacy teachers and evaluate the challenges they face in teaching a literary text through these approaches and its impact on developing the learners’ communication skills in class. Preliminary results of the study reveal that using traditional reading approaches resulted in lack of interest and understanding from the part of the learners whereas students who were familiarized with the dialogic approach had adequate understanding. For, this study showed that the suggested approach for teaching literacy had a great potential for enhancing EFL learners communicative competence in learning and understanding a literary text in class.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Take and Give terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematika Siswa

The learning model that is applied is a learning model that provides an opportunity for students to construct their own knowledge, so that students are easier to understand the concepts taught and communicate their ideas in oral and written forms and provide space for students to interact with their friends to provide and receive and solve material in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of take and give learning models on the improvement of mathematical communication skills of class VII MT MA Hunibera. The study was conducted using the quasi-experimental method, while the design used by the two groups posttest only design experiment. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling, class VII A as many as 30 students as the experimental class and class B as many as 30 students as the control class. Because the data distribution is normal and homogeneous, the hypothesis used by the t-test, from the calculation results obtained = 2,51 and = 2,002, because , then is rejected is accepted, it shows that there is an influence of the use of take and give learning models on improving mathematical communication skills students.

PEMBELAJARAN BERMUATAN DISPOSISI MATEMATIKA PADA KELAS X PROGRAM IPS

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) charged disposition of mathematics and mathematical communication skills in class X IPS program. Selection of a random sample run private and X IPS chosen as an experimental class 4 and class X IPS 3 as the control class. Results from this study is there a strong influence among the disposition mathematics and mathematical communication in improving problem-solving skills in students. On average problem-solving abilities higher than the experimental class problem-solving abilities in the control class.
