IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA TOGA BERBASIS QR CODE PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK UNTUK MENIGKATKAN LITERASI SAINS DAN DIGITAL PESERTA DIDIK KELAS III SD

This study aims to describe the implementation of QR Code-based "Tanaman Obat Keluarga" (TOGA) media in thematic learning at SD Negeri Penawungan 02, which is located in Ranuyoso sub-district, as a means of enhancing scientific literacy and digital literacy among third-grade students. This research is descriptive in nature, and the data were collected through observation and questionnaires. The findings indicate that the use of QR Code-based TOGA media successfully improved students' scientific and digital literacy. This is evidenced by the comparison of the average pre-test and post-test scores, which showed a significant increase from 63 to 80. In other words, the percentage of students achieving mastery increased from 60% to 80%. Additionally, the use of this media enhanced students' scientific and digital literacy skills by involving the use of smartphones and QR code reader applications. Students gained a better understanding of scientific concepts such as the properties, benefits, uses, and roles of medicinal plants in health and the environment, while also becoming more proficient in operating smartphones, including connecting to the internet and using QR code reader applications. Thus, the implementation of QR Code-based TOGA media at SD Negeri Penawungan 02 in Ranuyoso sub-district has successfully enhanced the scientific and digital literacy of third-grade students.

큐싱 공격 탐지를 위한 AutoML 머신러닝 기반 악성 URL 분류 기술 연구 및 서비스 구현

In recent trends, there has been an increase in 'Qshing' attacks, a hybrid form of phishing that exploits fake QR (Quick Response) codes impersonating government agencies to steal personal and financial information. Particularly, this attack method is characterized by its stealthiness, as victims can be redirected to phishing pages or led to download malicious software simply by scanning a QR code, making it difficult for them to realize they have been targeted. In this paper, we have developed a classification technique utilizing machine learning algorithms to identify the maliciousness of URLs embedded in QR codes, and we have explored ways to integrate this with existing QR code readers. To this end, we constructed a dataset from 128,587 malicious URLs and 428,102 benign URLs, extracting 35 different features such as protocol and parameters, and used AutoML to identify the optimal algorithm and hyperparameters, achieving an accuracy of approximately 87.37%. Following this, we designed the integration of the trained classification model with existing QR code readers to implement a service capable of countering Qshing attacks. In conclusion, our findings confirm that deriving an optimized algorithm for classifying malicious URLs in QR codes and integrating it with existing QR code readers presents a viable solution to combat Qshing attacks.

Steganography Technique to Hide a Secret Message in QR Code

This paper proposes a new method to hide a message in Quick Response code (QR code). This type of image steganography is quite a challenge because the secrete message should not be detected by the standard QR code reader. In addition, it has to be stored in an appropriate location that does not affect the original data of the QR code. All these requirements are studied. The analysis method is presented and discussed.

Use of Mobile Technologies to Streamline Pretriage Patient Flow in the Emergency Department: Observational Usability Study.

In emergency departments (EDs), triage nurses are under tremendous daily pressure to rapidly assess the acuity level of patients and log the collected information into computers. With self-service technologies, patients could complete data entry on their own, allowing nurses to focus on higher-order tasks. Kiosks are a popular working example of such self-service technologies; however, placing a sufficient number of unwieldy and fixed machines demands a spatial change in the greeting area and affects pretriage flow. Mobile technologies could offer a solution to these issues. The aim of this study was to investigate the use of mobile technologies to improve pretriage flow in EDs. The proposed stack of mobile technologies includes patient-carried smartphones and QR technology. The web address of the self-registration app is encoded into a QR code, which was posted directly outside the walk-in entrance to be seen by every ambulatory arrival. Registration is initiated immediately after patients or their proxies scan the code using their smartphones. Patients could complete data entry at any site on the way to the triage area. Upon completion, the result is saved locally on smartphones. At the triage area, the result is automatically decoded by a portable code reader and then loaded into the triage computer. This system was implemented in three busy metropolitan EDs in Shanghai, China. Both kiosks and smartphones were evaluated randomly while being used to direct pretriage patient flow. Data were collected during a 20-day period in each center. Timeliness and usability of medical students simulating ED arrivals were assessed with the After-Scenario Questionnaire. Usability was assessed by triage nurses with the Net Promoter Score (NPS). Observations made during system implementation were subject to qualitative thematic analysis. Overall, 5928 of 8575 patients performed self-registration on kiosks, and 7330 of 8532 patients checked in on their smartphones. Referring effort was significantly reduced (43.7% vs 8.8%; P<.001) and mean pretriage waiting times were significantly reduced (4.4, SD 1.7 vs 2.9, SD 1.0 minutes; P<.001) with the use of smartphones compared to kiosks. There was a significant difference in mean usability scores for "ease of task completion" (4.4, SD 1.5 vs 6.7, SD 0.7; P<.001), "satisfaction with completion time" (4.5, SD 1.4 vs 6.8, SD 0.6; P<.001), and "satisfaction with support" (4.9, SD 1.9 vs 6.6, SD 1.2; P<.001). Triage nurses provided a higher NPS after implementation of mobile self-registration compared to the use of kiosks (13.3% vs 93.3%; P<.001). A modified queueing model was identified and qualitative findings were grouped by sequential steps. This study suggests patient-carried smartphones as a useful tool for ED self-registration. With increased usability and a tailored queueing model, the proposed system is expected to minimize pretriage waiting for patients in the ED.

PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI PEMESANAN ONLINE DENGAN QR CODE MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK LARAVEL BERBASIS COLLABORATIVE FILTERING DI GERDU KAFFE PAITON PROBOLINGGO

"Gerdu Kaffe" still relies on manual methods for ordering and data management, despite the fact that cafes serve as social interaction spaces. This system encounters several issues, such as menu lists getting damaged or lost, difficulties in menu updates, long queues, and errors in manual ordering during peak hours. This research aims to develop a Menu Ordering Application with QR Code using the Laravel framework and employs Collaborative Filtering techniques. This application allows customers to order food and beverages through a smartphone using a QR Code Reader. Collaborative Filtering is used to analyze user preferences and behavior to discover relevant patterns. The research method used is qualitative, involving interviews and observations. Testing using blackbox testing methods resulted in the highest percentage of 86%, indicating that this web-based menu ordering system is effective in assisting the management process at Gerdu Kaffe Paiton.

Building of Barcode and QR Code Reader Device

This study focuses on building a QR and barcode reader device to scan the barcode or QR code (1D/2D) and display the read information on the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). With this device we can scan and read all the barcode and QR codes through an OLED display. The proposed device can work in the dark, have a stable performance as well as fast decoding speed. It can easily capture barcodes 1D, 2D on labels, paper, and mobile phone or computer displays sensitively and accurately.

Dual-Message QR Codes.

A novel dual-message QR code is proposed for carrying two individual messages that can be read by standard QR code readers: one from a close range and the other from a large distance. By exploring the module value determining the rule of typical QR code readers, we designed two-state module blocks that can be recognized as different module values through changing the distance from which the QR code is scanned, and applied them to construct the proposed dual-message QR code. Experiments were conducted to test the readability of the two messages within a dual-message QR code, with the results demonstrating the high feasibility of the proposed method. The dual-message QR code can be applied for designing creative applications. For example, an interactive wedding card that can access the growing film of the groom and that of the bride interchangeably, which bring the viewers a higher-quality experience.

Feedback Through Digital Application Affordances and Teacher Practice

Assessment feedback is an essential way to promote student learning. Students and teachers may benefit from educational technologies during the feedback process. The purpose of this study was to identify the feedback dimensions that were fulfilled by iPad applications (apps) and to compare teacher practice to the affordances of apps. Typological data analysis was used to perform this qualitative case study. We analyzed seven apps (QR Code Reader, Schoology, Kahoot!, Nearpod,Socrative, ZipGrade, and The Physics Classroom) that a high school physics teacher used to provide feedback in a technology-enhanced classroom. Data sources included classroom video recordings and the websites of these apps. To facilitate the analysis of the data, we enhanced the feedback dimensions identified by Hatzipanagos and Warburton (2009). Our analysis highlighted the diverse capabilities of these apps with regard to supporting the following dimensions of effective feedback: dialogue, visibility, appropriateness, community, power, learning, timeliness, clearness, complexity, reflection, and action. We found that through additional discussion and interactions with students, the teacher could support dimensions that an app did not support. This study not only underscores the critical interplay between technological tools and teacher practices with regard to crafting effective feedback mechanisms but also offers practical recommendations for educators seeking to optimize technology-enhanced feedback in classroom settings. Future research is encouraged to explore the technology implementation experiences of less experienced teachers. Examining teachers working at various school levels and from various countries can offer valuable insights.

QR Based Food Ordering System including Sentimental Analysis

Abstract: Ordering food directly has never been easier for the customers. This all-in-one QR Menu solution is for simplifying the food ordering process for customers and streamlining operations for businesses in the food service industry. The system offers the capability to upgrade for online food delivery through various digital channels, including websites and social media platforms, with a backend CRM facilitating the management of special customer requests. The primary target is quick-service restaurants, kiosks, takeout establishments, and food delivery services and the platform eliminates the need for customers to download additional mobile applications. By easily integrating with any POS system and supporting credit card payments, it provides a proper solution for online ordering and payment processing. Also, this platform combines sentiment analysis to understand customer preferences and easily make personalized menu suggestions and ranking of food items. This feature helps in enhancing the overall customer experience by offering specific recommendations based on individual tastes and preferences. Also, the system has user-friendly management tools for QR code generation and customization, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of QR code readers and scanning devices. The in-built QR code generator provides unique QR codes. As a cloudbased solution, it offers scalability and easy management of online menus, and allows businesses to list their offerings on various marketplaces. This system has unique capabilities in providing a seamless and integrated solution for online food ordering, payment processing, and customer engagement in the food service industry.

Abstract A033: The ING5 epigenetic reader regulates a subset of DNA repair genes to maintain genomic integrity

Abstract The ING family of epigenetic histone code readers (ING1-5) recognize the H3K4Me3 epigenetic mark to target histone acetyltransferase (HAT) or histone deacetylase (HDAC) complexes to regulate local acetylation levels and affect transcription. We and others have shown that ING5 promotes stem cell character in normal and in cancer stem cells and that loss of ING5 promotes stem cell differentiation. Examination of an ING5 knockout (KO) mouse model showed increased levels of DNA damage in different tissues, and particularly in the male germ line. ING5 mouse embryo fibroblasts (MEFs) also show a &amp;gt;2-fold increase in cells containing gH2AX foci in the absence of exogenous DNA damaging agents. Examining the transcriptomes of ING5 KO and wild-type littermate MEFs indicates that several genes encoding key DNA repair proteins such as those acting in homologous recombination (BRCA1 and BRCA2) and base excision repair (PARP1) are repressed several-fold and ING5 KO MEFs show increased sensitivity to the PARP inhibitor olaparib. Given that ING5 functions to help maintain stem cell character in normal and in cancer stem cells, we propose that ING5 serves a role in maintaining a high level of DNA repair capability in stem cell populations to preserve genomic integrity. William Gibson’s Sprawl Trilogy: Connection between Humans and Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence as it is envisioned in literature, reflects moral and social standards, sculpts societal hopes and fears, spurs scientific progress, and perhaps even foretells the future. Artificial intelligence (AI) is being developed by humans, including programmers through their code and authors and readers through millennia of discourse, starting with ancient automatons and continuing with contemporary concepts of AI. The question of what we are producing as AI becomes more human—and possibly superhuman—and what literature can teach us about these AI imaginaries are also topics covered in this paper. The researcher seeks to explain the connections between artificial intelligence and literature in this work by highlighting the numerous ways that machine intelligence helps the production and comprehension of narrative. This study will also look at the connection between humans and artificial intelligence in William Gibson’s Sprawl trilogy and how his cyberpunk trilogy allows readers to think about how the lines between humans and technology are blurring and how technology can both liberate and enslave people.

Digital synchronous measurement method for two-dimensional in-plane displacement using check-code

The measurement of two-dimensional displacement is an essential aspect of ultra-precision manufacturing and product design. This paper introduces an innovative method that uses a four-reader probe and a group of check codes to achieve digital synchronous measurement of translational and rotational displacement. The measuring principle and two-dimensional coding method are modelled first, and several reader-code combinations are proposed. And then, the study conducts numerical simulations to investigate the effect of different factors on measurement accuracies, such as check code size, machining tolerance, and reader resolution, and the method’s accuracy and performance are evaluated based on the error distribution to determine the optimal system parameters for various applications. A specialized lab experiment is conducted to validate the accuracy and reliability of the proposed method. In conclusion, the proposed method is innovative and practical, which realizes the synchronous measurement of two-dimensional in-plane displacement instead of a simple combination of two one-dimensional sensors.

Implementation Model Prototyping In Application Design of Halal Food Product Detection For Overseas Muslim Students

In the age of globalization, the production and trading of food have become more widespread, and consumers, particularly those who follow the Islamic faith, require access to information about the halal status of the products they consume. It is crucial to provide accurate and relevant information to them regarding the halal nature of the products they buy. To cater to this need, many people are using barcode scanners via mobile platforms to obtain product information. These barcode scanners use optical scanners called code readers, and they are popular as they provide a quick and efficient way of obtaining information. Creating a barcode application using the prototyping method is an effective solution that involves several steps, such as gathering and analyzing requirements, rapid design, building a prototype, user evaluation, and refining the prototype. The programming language Kotlin is used to create these applications, which support building Android applications on the Java Virtual Machine Platform (JVM). The use of Kotlin, which is statically expressed and executed, makes the process of developing these applications efficient and straightforward. In summary, developing a barcode application using the prototyping method and Kotlin is an excellent solution to provide consumers with accurate and accessible information about the halal status of food products they consume.

Virtual Reality's Effect on Educational E-learning Platforms

Students now rely more on online learning than on-campus instruction. As a result, we intend to create a project that will assist students in understanding topics through the use of augmented reality (AR). The only aspect of e-learning being studied at the moment is knowledge transmission online. We want to upgrade e-learning with AR due to time restraints and other technological issues. In order to virtualize the notion for students studying three-dimensional geometry, our objective is to create an e-learning framework for three-dimensional geometry. Students may quickly understand the idea visually with the aid of modern mobile phones by placing their phones on the actual QR code readers. Using AR, it will provide a clear and visual explanation of the idea. For instance, if the student holds up his phone in front of the switch or router, it will clearly explain the components. Then, it may be used in any subject or industry. We want to employ Vuforia and UNITY 3-D software to accomplish our aim. The software development kit (SDK) for augmented reality (AR) on mobile devices called Vuforia facilitates the development of AR apps. It recognizes and tracks planar pictures and 3D objects in real time using computer vision technologies. Games and other visuals in both 2D and 3D may be made with Unity.

Assessment of Autotronics Servicing Skill Needs among Roadside Mechanics for the Use of Auto Scan Tools

This study examined the Autotronics Servicing Skills needs among Roadside Mechanics and Master Trainers using auto scan tools. Two research questions and two null hypotheses guided the study. The study was carried out in 9 local government areas of Kano State. The study population was 90 Road Side Mechanics, and Masters Trainers selected through a simple random sampling technique. The whole population was used for the study. A structured questionnaire validated by three experts from the Department of Technology Education, Modibbo Adama University, Yola and trial tested for internal consistency in the Ringim local government area of Jigawa State was used. The instrument yielded a reliability coefficient of 0.82. The instrument structured on 5 points Likert scale was used to elicit information on using the Onboard diagnostic (OBD2) and Launch code reader professional 123 (CRP123) for diagnosing vehicle systems faults. Data collected were analyzed using Microsoft Excel. Mean and standard deviation was used to answer the research questions. Z-test statistics were used to test the null hypotheses at a 0.05 significance level. The study found out that Roadside Mechanics need autotronics servicing skills in the use of OBD2 and CRP123 for diagnosing and fixing problems in the engine, transmission, airbag (supplemental restraint system SRS), anti-lock braking system (ABS), and emission-related systems. The study recommended that ASS acquisition centres should be established in Kano State by organizations like the Ministries of Labour, the National Directorate for Employment (NDE), the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and so on to enable Roadside Mechanics and other people who wish to learn the skills to acquire the required training to meet up with the challenges ever increasing in the motor vehicle technology.

Usability and acceptability testing of a Plan of Safe Care in a mobile health platform.

Women who are pregnant or parenting while recovering from substance use disorder (SUD) are at risk for insufficient recovery support. With the federal mandate, implementation has been left to each state for the Plan of Safe Care (POSC), leading to challenges in providing comprehensive care coordination and meeting federal reporting requirements. This research tests the usability and acceptability of a POSC platform, called SAFE4BOTH, which combines a mobile health (mHealth) app for use by mothers with substance use disorder (MSUD) with a web-based case management system for use by stakeholders to reduce the issue of fragmented postnatal maternal and infant care. The platform was designed to enable access to services, improve reporting task workflow, and assist in improving interactions between mothers and service providers.After applying a user-centered design approach, the usability and acceptability of the SAFE4BOTH platform were evaluated using focus groups, interviews, and a System Usability Scale (SUS). The evaluation involved four staff members from a Medication for Addiction Treatment clinic (comprising of three case management workers and one peer counselor), four state employees of the Delaware Division of Family Services, and 20 mothers with MSUD who had delivered infants in need of a POSC.Features tested in the SAFE4BOTH platform included a secure, web-based POSC, a contingency management-based reward system, a micro-learning library, a resources locator, a chat messaging and videoconferencing system, a directory for contact management, a QR code reader, use of an appointment compliance system engaging geofencing, and an enhanced calendar. Family services and treatment center staff accessed SAFE4BOTH from their laptops or tablets, and MSUD accessed SAFE4BOTH from their phones. Family services staff, treatment center staff, and MSUD participants rated SAFE4BOTH as usable and acceptable with average System Usability Scale scores of 68.1 (SD 8.5), 92.5 (SD 11.73), and 78.4 (SD 12.5) (respectively). The platform was judged both usable and acceptable by all three target populations (family services staff, treatment center staff, and MSUD). Further studies are planned to explore the efficacy of longitudinally supporting the mother's recovery and the infant's healthy development.

A QR Code Used for Personal Information Based On Multi-Layer Encryption System

Protecting and concealing sensitive data in the modern world is challenging. Due to insufficient protection and privacy, it is feasible for critical information to be fabricated. This led to a significant financial loss for someone. The intended recipient must be trusted with sensitive information and be able to independently authenticate the accuracy of the information by independently checking the specifics. There are several driving the rise in QR codes used for information transmission. Due to their enormous capacity for storing information, QR codes are vital for dissemination. However, most currently deployed QR code solutions employ insecure data formats and never employ encryption. Secure QR Code is data protection and data concealing available technology. The Quick Response (QR) code is widely used and accessible without extensive technical training. Now, the user data stored in a QR code is effectively public knowledge and occasionally even illegally used. To address the abovementioned issues, this study's authors propose a novel QR code encryption system. Using the image's mathematical processing method, we may apply the equivalence class principle to the ordered equations of the two-dimensional code, producing the desired cryptographic result. This method exploits the unique visual properties of the QR code. Only a QR code reader can decode the code's useful information, which is too complex for standard reading methods. It will be utilised to address issues in speedy business client data protection Security, commodity anticounterfeiting, and bicycle sharing QR codes.

IOT Based Smart Cart System

The use of trolleys in the shopping industry has always been very popular, especially among customers who frequently stop by the mall or supermarket to shop for their necessities. People need trolleys to make it easier for them to carry their groceries and other luggage. There are various types of trolleys according to their respective uses. Still, the trolleys in the shopping industry commonly used today can only help users carry goods from one place to another. However, this traditional type of trolley is still lacking in being a perfect fit in the shopping industry. It does not help reduce the crowds and the enormous queue in terms of inconvenience. In metro cities purchasing and shopping at super shops, big malls is a daily activity. At the billing counter the customer will prepare the bill using bar code reader which is a time-consuming process and will creates the long queues at billing counters. By implementing this smart machine, it will minimize human efforts and also automate the billing procedure. So, in our prototype we are using RFID technology for identification of the purchased product and it reduces the scanning time of the consumer. Bromodomain and Extra-Terminal Proteins in Brain Physiology and Pathology: BET-ing on Epigenetic Regulation.

BET proteins function as histone code readers of acetylated lysins that determine the positive regulation in transcription of genes involved in cell cycle progression, differentiation, inflammation, and many other pathways. In recent years, thanks to the development of BET inhibitors, interest in this protein family has risen for its relevance in brain development and function. For example, experimental evidence has shown that BET modulation affects neuronal activity and the expression of genes involved in learning and memory. In addition, BET inhibition strongly suppresses molecular pathways related to neuroinflammation. These observations suggest that BET modulation may play a critical role in the onset and during the development of diverse neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, fragile X syndrome, and Rett syndrome. In this review article, we summarize the most recent evidence regarding the involvement of BET proteins in brain physiology and pathology, as well as their pharmacological potential as targets for therapeutic purposes.

Design and Implementation of a Track n trace 2D Multi Scanner Bulk Code Reader for Pharmaceutical Packaging

With various compliance initiatives surrounding the traceability of medical drugs coming into prominence and with federal regulations becoming more stringent, there is a need to efficiently manage the supply chain process involving drug packaging. To enable traceability of the drugs being packaged, many manufacturers are implementing barcoding of product labels which contains a minimum of the attributes namely GTIN, lot number, serial numbers, expiry date, manufacturing dates, etc., to enable traceability of the packaged item. Currently, manufacturers are looking for ways to keep their supply chain moving at an efficient and optimal process. One of the challenges was to build automated equipment providing a well-defined and properly structured framework for functioning, designing, and implementing of Track N Trace Counterfeit Risk Management (CRM) application to increase the speed of the aggregation with the child-to-parent aggregation and generation of online case labels after the required child's Quantity in Multi carton aggregation station. Track N Trace Counterfeit Risk Management (CRM) allows the manufacturers to establish the parent-child relationship during packaging their drugs. Also, various guidelines US Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), EU regulation (Falsified Medicines Directive-FMD), Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA), Indonesia's National Agency of Drug and Food Control (NADFC), India’s Directorate General of Foreign Trade - DGFT, and Australia TGA will need to be integrated into one single source of equipment that can meet with their barcoding regulation for tracking of drugs packed. Machine Vision systems are finding themselves in use in the pharma machinery and the "multi-carton" equipment that has been built for implementation for pharmaceutical packaging uses the vision systems architecture. We aimed to build a counterfeit risk management software solution that ensures compliance with various regulatory agencies by building a common framework that can be extensible for any further changes to the guidelines and/or additional regulatory guidelines from other countries. Lots of design architecture work has been refined through continuous process improvement practices and we developed a software tool that improves efficiency and requires minimal changes to the current manufacturing/packaging supply chain lines.
